Michigan Attorney General Files Lawsuit to Halt Stein RecountMichigan Attorney General Bill Schuette has filed a lawsuit to stop Green Party candidate Jill Stein's recount, saying the exercise is an unnecessary expenditure of taxpayer dollars (via Politico):
"Michigan voters rejected Stein's candidacy by massive margins but her refusal to accept that state-verified result poses an expensive and risky threat to hard-working taxpayers and abuses the intent of Michigan law," Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, a Republican, said. "We have asked the court to end the recount which Stein is pursuing in violation of Michigan laws that protect the integrity of our elections. It is inexcusable for Stein to put Michigan voters at risk of paying millions and potentially losing their voice in the Electoral College in the process."
As we've mentioned many times, there was no spike in suspicious cyber activity from outside sources that would suggest a hacking attempt on election night. This was confirmed by the Obama administration through the Department of Homeland Security. The alleged hacking and vulnerable election systems in these states forms the basis for why Stein is engaging in this joke of a recount attempt. There have been allegations that this is a massive fundraising event since Stein has raised more with his recount effort than for her entire failed presidential run. She's raised over $6.3 million for the effort while saying that there's no guarantee that a recount will occur, and that any excess cash raised after their $7 million would be spent on election integrity and other reforms. Again, running in 2020 could be a great way for Greens to advocate that. The Green Party failed to get six percent of the vote, so they're qualified to receive federal election funds for 2020. I guess they're getting a head start in filling those coffers, huh?

President-elect Trump's legal team had filed a recount challenge in Michigan, saying that the whole charade was lawless.

5 Reasons Barack Obama Will Be Viewed As One Of The Worst Presidents of All TimeCompiling a list of reasons why Barack Obama is a terrible president seems like a project for a book rather than a column. However, when we start looking at the catastrophic mistakes he’s made that may reverberate for years to come, it’s clear that he’s been a disaster for America on a scale that few other Presidents can match. Just look at his record.

1) Nearly Doubling The National Debt: Let’s see, what was it that Barack Obama said about our debt back in 2008 when he was trying to convince Americans to vote him into office?

The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from 5 trillion dollars for the first 42 presidents -- number 43 added 4 trillion dollars by his lonesome, so that we now have over 9 trillion dollars of debt that we are going to have to pay back -- $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That's irresponsible. It's unpatriotic.

Meanwhile, once he got into office, Obama added more debt than all previous presidents combined (which even the liberals at Politifact admit is true). Before Obama, it would have taken some real work to stave off a debt-driven economic collapse down the road, but because of the amount of debt he added on, it’s now probably unavoidable. This country survived the Brits burning the White House in the War of 1812, Pearl Harbor, and 9/11, but all of those horrors combined will pale to the long-term damage to this country Obama will cause with his reckless spending.
Republicans say they are going to “replace” Obamacare, but they will come up with something very similar and at least as bad if they start with the same misguided objective: “universal coverage.”

There are necessities of life, but insurance is not one of them.

Just what good is that little card in your wallet? Once it has expired, it is good for absolutely nothing, even if you have paid $100,000 or more for it over a period of years.

It might be a ticket to get you into certain medical facilities, but in these days of narrow networks, it will keep you out of others. It by no means guarantees that the facility will provide you with the care you need or want – or even that you won’t get an outrageous bill, especially before you meet the deductible. It will guarantee that you will be paying for a lot of things you don’t need or want. Some will be other people’s medical care, or anti-tobacco lectures, or alcohol rehab (even if you are a teetotaler). You’ll pay for some things just because they are “quality” metrics – hospice evaluation is a newly proposed one. And you will definitely pay for administrators, managers, monitors, clerks, claims processors and re-processors, etc., all of whom get their paycheck or their pension even if your doctor doesn’t.
McCain and Graham seek to gut 9/11 bill and immunize foreign governments funding terrorists

These clowns don’t seem to realize that a new wind is blowing, or if they do, are working hard to protect their masters before the new regime comes in. It’s a relief that they lost their partner and fellow useful idiot, New Hampshire’s Kelly Ayotte. “BREAKING: McCain and Graham Seek to Gut 9/11 Bill to […]

GOP Rep Calls for Total Pause of ‘Trojan Horse’ Refugee Program: Americans ‘Getting Killed’ for Political Correctness

Breitbart News, December 2, 2016:

Migrants wait to disembark from the Siem Pilot ship on October 24, 2016 in Palermo after rescue operations of migrants at see during the week-end. During a dramatic 24 hours, the crew of the Norwegian Siem Pilot, a vessel built as an oil platform supply ship but now used by the EU border force Frontex and another aid boat rescued panicked migrants in the dark, with only limited resources and in the face of aggressive people smugglers. Around 2,400 migrants were rescued and 14 dead bodies pulled from the water on October 22, 2016, according to the Italian coastguard. / AFP PHOTO / Ella IDECongressman Brian Babin (R-TX) is calling for a total suspension of the controversial refugee resettlement program following the attack of young Americans at Ohio State University carried out by a Somali refugee.

“Our refugee program has basically become a Trojan Horse,” Babin said in a Thursday radio interview with nationally-syndicated host Laura Ingraham.

“We have to take a step back and reevaluate our asylum policies that are absolutely getting Americans killed for politically correct reasons,” Babin explained, adding that the Ohio State University refugee attack “comes on the heels of another Somali refugee stabbing in Minnesota” that took place in September.

“The threat is growing. It’s time for us to wake up,” Babin added. “We’ve got to look no further than Western Europe to see the results of what happens when you have… unchecked and completely overwhelming refugee numbers.”
