South Florida reporter shows personal bias against the TEA Party
By: Diane Sori

As an investigative reporter and talk show co-host myself for CPR Worldwide Media, I must say that a sign of a good reporter is to report the news NOT fabricate the news or insert personal opinions into a story where they do NOT belong. And a good reporter NEVER defames or dishonors his readers or listeners by way of personal attacks. Attacking or criticizing a subject of course is fair game, but when it crosses into the personal, bounds have assuredly been crossed. Local South Florida reporter and on-air personality Bob Norman, who works for WPLG Channel 10 in Miami, is one case in point of a reporter who has crossed the line on both accounts.

After confronting legendary American Republican political consultant Roger Stone...a man who has played a key role in the election of Republican presidents from Richard Nixon to Ronald Reagan to George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush...while he was getting in his car in Miami, liberal leaning Norman posted on his facebook page, "Win a prize if you're the first to identify the infamous political operative who is assaulting my Local 10 photographer in this photo."

Never mind that in NO way did Roger Stone assault anyone, but Norman then went on to defame NOT just those who criticized his allegations and who came to Stone's defense, but he also went on a tirade against the TEA Party...who had absolutely NOTHING to do with the 'supposed' happenings or with the dialogue going on.

One of his personal attacks was against Patrick Castronovo, a personal friend of mine, as Norman refused to answer his question and told him to wait until the story in question airs.  Saying, "Patrick, you ask many questions and they tend to be annoying (you must agree since you've gone back and deleted a couple of them yourself). I didn't attack Stone. I asked him questions on a topic you'll find out about when it airs" Norman wants people to answer his questions while refusing to answer theirs...NOT the best of tactics when one is hired to report the news, and asking and answering questions is what makes a story news.

Continuing on in his refusal to directly answer any of his readers questions, Norman then went on to bring the TEA Party into a discussion that had NO bearing whatsoever on the TEA Party. Continuing on with his conversation with my friend Patrick, Norman started going way off topic transforming into his true liberal leaning self. Saying, "Patrick, one you deleted was where you were asking why I was "soooo scared" to reveal the blogger and then you claim I'm attacking Stone. Started smelling some of your Tea Party cooking coming into this."

"Started smelling some of your TEA Party cooking coming into this"...uncalled for as NOWHERE in the facebook back and forth was the TEA Party mentioned or even part of the dialogue, yet Norman chose to infuse the TEA Party into the conversation just to get his digs into both the TEA Party itself and those who follow TEA Party leanings.

And so Patrick continued on saying, "I still stand by that question about Roger. So? But why would you say "Started smelling some of your Tea Party cooking coming into this?" Really? Be a professional Bob you work for channel 10 for Christ sake! Your bias remarks are unprofessional as a Journalist. I didn't realize that you had such an agenda? I thought Journalist were not to be so bias? Wow! Thanks for showing your true colors..."

"...Thanks for showing your true colors."And that is the crux of this altercation for a good reporter...a reporter who knows his job and his boundaries...went to a place NO reporter should go and in going there...in deliberately and with malice defaming a group having NO part in the ongoing dialogue whatsoever...shows Bob Norman to be a grade B reporter at best...an A-list reporter 'wanna be'...something he will NEVER be.

I sure hope WPLG Channel 10 calls him to task, for as their representative he in NO way does their station proud.

Weekend Edition: Operation Resignation Desperation

By Craig Andresen

tnp eagleFriday was a banner day for rodents leaping from Obama’s sinking ship of state.

The USS Obama, a dingy carrying an ass, is now swirling a little higher in the toilet bowl as first, Eric Shinseki, the head turd in the VA punchbowl resigned, only to be immediately replaced by his deputy and Assistant Director of deadly misdeeds, Sloan Gibson.

Let me tell you something…as the fraudulent and fatal scandal at the VA is systemic, and as Sloan Gibson has been Shinseki’s right hand for all of three months. That is the depth of his experience…3 months but IN those three months…did Gibson ever blow the whistle?

Our veterans are just as screwed now as they were on Thursday. Nothing has changed.

Then there was the bald-faced liar, Obama’s version of Baghdad Bob…Jay Carney who decided to “step down” and get off the Tidy Bowl Man’s yacht before it disappears altogether.

Carney, who has become the laughingstock of the press corps over the past 5 plus years. Carney who has hemmed and hawed, stuttered and stammered his way through daily press briefings, trying to tap dance his way around the truth with all the agility of a one legged, spasmatic weasel… to the point where even Pinocchio doesn’t take him seriously anymore…has called it quits.

Carney’s future memoirs are no doubt, destined for the bargain bin in the fiction section on Amazon.

By the way, Jay carney’s family was recently featured in a Washingtonian magazine spread complete with a photo from their own family kitchen in which can be seen two wonderful examples of communist propaganda art lurking on the back wall.

Perhaps Vladimir Putin is hiring?

Let’s take a closer look at the “don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya” exits to see what REALLY led to the departures.

In Book, Hillary Clinton Defends Susan Rice on Benghazi, Blames Those ‘Who Exploit This Tragedy’

From Libusters Daily News

(Photo: Olivier Douliery/ABACAUSA.COM/Newscom)Hillary Clinton’s forthcoming memoir about her time at the State Department may have a different title than Mitt Romney’s 2011 book, “No Apology,” but excerpts from her chapter on the Benghazi terrorist attacks showcase an attitude more abrasive than apologetic about her role in the scandal.

“Those who exploit this tragedy over and over as a political tool minimize the sacrifice of those who served our country,” Clinton writes, according to Politico, which obtained the Benghazi chapter of Clinton’s book, “Hard Choices.”

“I will not be a part of a political slugfest on the backs of dead Americans,” she adds. “It’s just plain wrong, and it’s unworthy of our great country. Those who insist on politicizing the tragedy will have to do so without me.”

Clinton, who headed the State Department at the time, defends the remarks made on the Sunday morning shows days later by then-UN Ambassador Susan Rice, who has since come under fire for her misleading comments. “Susan stated,” writes Clinton, “what the intelligence community believed, rightly or wrongly, at the time.”

In April, emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request made by Judicial Watch showed that the White House had a hand in altering the talking points used by Rice on the shows.

Clinton also maintains that an anti-Islamic video on YouTube did play some role in the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that occurred Sept. 11, 2012.

“There were scores of attackers that night, almost certainly with differing motives,” Clinton states. “It is inaccurate to state that every single one of them was influenced by this hateful video. It is equally inaccurate to state that none of them were.”

The Heritage Foundation’s Helle Dale says it is “stunning” that Clinton continues to cite the video.

“It is stunning that Clinton still clings to the video story,” Dale tells The Foundry. “It has been totally discredited and never had an ounce of truth to it.”

“Hard Choices” will be released June 10…
Jindal: Obama Told Governors He Doesn’t Trust the States
Leah Barkoukis / Townhall Columnist

Fox News’ Sean Hannity sat down with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on Thursday at the Republican Leadership Conference to talk about the accomplishments conservative governors have made across the U.S.

“All of you inherited deficits you turned into surpluses, high unemployment now low unemployment,” Hannity said of Jindal and Govs. Rick Scott (FL), Rick Perry (TX), John Kasich (OH), Scott Walker (WI), and Nikki Haley (SC). “What can the Republicans in Washington learn?”

Washington can actually learn a lot from states if they want to—it’s just common sense, Jindal replied. Lawmakers inside the beltway always talk about the things they can’t do, like cutting spending, repealing Obamacare, enforcing term limits, cutting taxes. “All that’s ridiculous. At the state level, we’ve done those things,” he said.

The conversation then switched to trust. Jindal said that conservative governors actually understand and trust the American people. The Obama administration, however, doesn’t seem to trust the public to choose their own insurance, or their child’s school, for example.

“When we met with him as governors, I asked him, why don’t you give the states more influence on accrediting higher education, to bring more competition in the marketplace?” Jindal said.

“Here’s the insulting thing: In a room full of Democratic and Republican governors, basically, in so many words he said, ‘We can’t trust states. We can’t trust governors to protect their own people.’”

Given the Obama administration’s efforts going after states for their voter ID and immigration laws, for example, Jindal’s claims aren’t that hard to believe.

Let's begin with the indisputably good news: Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who has been held captive by the Taliban since 2009, is coming home. Upon his release, Bergdahl reportedly asked his rescuers if they were US special forces, bursting into tears after they confirmed that they were. His family is obviously elated. Their protracted, unimaginable ordeal is finally over. But this good news comes at an extremely high price. The Daily Beast's Eli Lake and Josh Rogin report:
The five Guantanamo detainees released by the Obama administration in exchange for America’s last prisoner of war in Afghanistan, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, are bad guys. They are top Taliban commanders the group has tried to free for more than a decade.
According to a 2008 Pentagon dossier on Guantanamo Bay inmates, all five men released were considered to be a high risk to launch attacks against the United States and its allies if they were liberated. The exchange shows that the Obama administration was willing to pay a steep price, indeed, for Bergdahl’s freedom. The administration says they will be transferred to Qatar, which played a key role in the negotiations.
Writing at the Weekly Standard, Thomas Joscelyn characterizes the released terrorists as among the most dangerous Al Qaeda-affiliated Taliban commanders in US custody:
There are good reasons why the Taliban has long wanted the five freed from Gitmo. All five are among the Taliban’s top commanders in U.S. custody and are still revered in jihadist circles. Two of the five have been wanted by the UN for war crimes. And because of their prowess, Joint Task Force-Guantanamo (JTF-GTMO) deemed all five of them “high” risks to the U.S. and its allies. The Obama administration wants to convince the Taliban to abandon its longstanding alliance with al Qaeda. But these men contributed to the formation of that relationship in the first place. All five had close ties to al Qaeda well before the 9/11 attacks. Therefore, it is difficult to see how their freedom would help the Obama administration achieve one of its principal goals for the hoped-for talks.
The Taliban has been seeking the release of these hardcore jihadists for years, and now they've gotten exactly what they wanted:

Ted Cruz Favorite Among Grassroots Republicans, Wins RLC Straw Poll

cruz3
Ted Cruz’s political star continues to rise.

Cruz, who is expected to run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016, has won the straw poll taken at the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans, LA.

In the straw poll, 633 ballots were cast, which was attended by more than 1,500 people.

1. Ted Cruz — 30.33 percent
2. Ben Carson — 29.38 percent
3. Rand Paul — 10.43 percent
4. Mike Huckabee — 5.06 percent
5. Rick Perry — 4.90 percent
6. Curt Clawson (write-in) 4.58 percent
7. Jeb Bush — 4.42 percent
8. Marco Rubio — 3.32 percent
9. Rick Santorum — 2.37 percent
10. Paul Ryan — 2.05 percent
11. Allen West (write-in) — 2.05 percent
12. Chris Christie — 1.11%

This the deep south, and the results are very telling of Cruz’s popularity with the base of the Republican Party.

Cruz has visited the all-important swing state of Florida on several occasions, and is expected to make a stronger push in the state moving into the 2016 Presidential primary cycle.

While Senator Marco Rubio has lost significant support from his past supporters in his home state, Cruz is looking to capitalize on those Floridians looking for an alternative to Rubio.

FLORIDA Democrat Congressman, Joe Garcia, takes money from radical Muslim group, thinks Israel should be annihilated

0 Bare Naked Islam

Emerge USA is a Florida-based organization whose unstated goal is to give radical Muslims a political voice in America. One way they do this is by getting their leaders placed in key positions of power. Another way is by making friends with thosealready in power. United States Representative from Florida, Joe Garcia, is one of those friends. He has accepted thousands of dollars from Emerge for his 2014 reelection bid, and he has returned the favor by helping the group raise more money.

Frontpage  (h/t Mike F) Earlier this month, Emerge held its annual fundraising dinner in Miami, at the DoubleTree Hotel and Airport Convention Center. Featured at the event was Sayed Ammar Nakshawani, an Islamic lecturer from England who is a devotee of Iran’s deceased terrorist leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and who has called for the destruction of Israel.

emergeUSA-610x400

In a speech found on YouTube and the lecture section of his website, titled ‘Sayed Khomeini’s Quds Day,’ Nakshawani states, “The shame in this world is that, if we put ourselves down to a two-state solution, we would allow a country which has broken 60 UN resolutions to have their own freedom of peace. It is barbaric that this Zionist state is allowed to continue.”

Israel-the-CancerEmerge advertised Nakshawani in an event flyer as well as an Emerge-produced video of Nakshawani telling people to attend.

Given Emerge’s past, having this man speak was no surprise. What was a surprise, though, was that a sitting U.S. Congressman, Joe Garcia, would also be speaking at the event, even after the leader of his political party, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, cancelled her keynote address in front of the same group just two years prior. One of the two co-chairmen of Emerge is South Florida attorney Khurrum Basir Wahid. According to his bio, Wahid specializes in defending “individuals charged with allegedly committing or conspiring to commit acts of terrorism.”

feature_joe_garcia_says_communism_works

Prior to helping found Emerge, Wahid was a legal advisor for the national office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and a director of CAIR’s Florida chapter. In 2007 and 2008, CAIR was named by the U.S. Justice Department as a co-conspirator to the financing of millions of dollars to Hamas. In 2011, Wahid himself was placed on a U.S. government terrorist watch list.

The other co-chairman of Emerge is Afaq J. Durrani. Durrani is the General Secretary of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH), a sizable community organization consisting of 19 area mosques. ISGH is a subsidiary of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which like CAIR, was named by the U.S. government a co-conspirator in the financing of Hamas.

Ten photos featuring Congressman Garcia at the fundraising banquet are found on the Emerge Facebook page, some showing him speaking at the podium, many with a huge smile on his face. One of the photos is of him playfully grabbing the arm of co-founder and former Emerge President Farooq Mith

Joe Garcia’s willingness to accept money from an organization such as Emerge is troubling to say the least, and his enthusiasm and eagerness to speak in front of the group is evidence that his acceptance of the money was no mistake.
