Manchin Hits Back at AOC After Viral Photo
At the time, Manchin vowed to stand up against the radicals in his party, particularly on the subject of defunding the police.
“Defund
the police? Defund, my butt,” he tweeted. “I'm a proud West Virginia
Democrat. We are the party of working men and women. We want to protect
Americans' jobs & healthcare. We do not have some crazy socialist
agenda, and we do not believe in defunding the police.”
AOC retweeted his message with a photo of her glaring at him in the background.

The resolution states that the executive and judicial branches of the Keystone State’s government usurped the legislature’s constitutional power to set the rules of the election.The text of the resolution, first previewed in a memo on Nov. 27, states that the executive and judicial branches of the Keystone State’s government usurped the legislature’s constitutional power to set the rules of the election.
“Officials in the Executive and Judicial Branches of the Commonwealth infringed upon the General Assembly’s authority under the Constitution of the United States by unlawfully changing the rules governing the November 3, 2020, election in the Commonwealth,” the resolution (pdf) states.
