North Korea: Talks With Pompeo Were 'Regrettable'
Just hours after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that his talks during the past two days with the North Korean government were “productive” and beneficial regarding “central issues,” the communist nation’s Foreign Ministry categorically disagreed, calling the meetings in Pyongyang “regrettable.”

The Associated Press reports that an “unnamed North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman” claims that the United States “betrayed the spirit of last month’s summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un by making unilateral demands” regarding denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

The North Korean official added that this is a “dangerous phase that might rattle our willingness for denuclearization that had been firm.”

Slovakia Declares It Will Move Its Embassy to Jerusalem


The head of the Slovak National Council, Andrej Danko, told Israel President Reuven Rivlin that Slovakia is poised to move its embassy to Jerusalem.

These are the doors President Donald Trump openend. First, America moved the embassy; in April, Czech Presisdent Milos Zeman said his country would open a consulate in the city; in May, Guatemala moved its embassy to Jerusalem; in May, Paraguay announced its intent to do the same.

What’s especially note-worthy about the Slovak announcement is that it goes against European Union policy on Jerusalem.
