The Birth of Another Sanctuary State
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio
“It would be a place where everybody could call with
questions about their status...particularly if you’re
undocumented...”
- New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy
Recently California...the west coast's bastion of uber
liberalism...officially became a sanctuary state much to the chagrin
of the few conservatives still residing in the state. And now on the
east coast we have New Jersey's newly sworn in Democrat governor,
Phil Murphy, pledging to not only become a sanctuary state...or a
“welcoming state” as he calls it...but to go even one step
further than delusional Jerry Brown did...as in to create a specific
government agency...the Office of Immigrant Defense
Protection...charged solely with protecting the rights of illegals
residing in New Jersey.

Senate Vote Clears Way to Reopen Government NEWSMAX

The Senate moved to end the three-day shutdown of the U.S. government after Democrats agreed to a deal that would buy almost three weeks’ time for Congress to resolve the disputes over spending and immigration that led to the closing.
The chamber agreed 81 to 18 to end debate, a procedural move that
clears the way for a temporary funding plan through Feb. 8 — the
culmination of days of deal making that unfolded as both parties traded
blame for the government closure that began at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said he and Senate Majority
Leader Mitch McConnell had “come to an arrangement,” with Schumer saying
he believed there was a “real pathway” to get a bill dealing with
immigration on the floor of the Senate. But Monday’s bargain may only
postpone debates that illustrate the deep divisions among the two
parties, conservatives in the House and President Donald Trump.
Trump Effect Goes International: IMF Says Global Economic Growth To Spike Thanks To Trump Tax Bill
Apple is repatriating hundreds of billions in overseas cash now that the rates have been lowered. Some $200-250 billion will now be coming back to the U.S., which is part of the tech giant’s $350 billion investment over a five-year period. It will create 20,000 new jobs in the process. For years Apple had wanted to repatriate the money, but the current tax rates made that an insane move. Now, they’re paying $38 billion in taxes to repatriate the cash. They’re not the only ones. More tech companies plan to bring their cash from overseas. In all, $300-400 billion is expected to be repatriated, with Apple representing about half of the assets. Now, the International Monetary Fund predicts global economic growth is expected to grow thanks to the Republican tax reform effort (via Bloomberg) [emphasis mine]
Trump administration pledges $55 million for religious and ethnic groups persecuted by the Islamic State
“The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
announced last week that the government will provide $75 million to the
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for aid to Iraq, including
the $55 million earmarked for communities of Christians and other ethnic
and religious minorities.” The global “human rights community” has
turned its back on these […]

Pence in Knesset: “U.S. will open embassy in Jerusalem next year” G-d Bless @realDonaldTrump
By Pamela Geller / THE GELLER REPORT

This gives “next year in Jerusalem” a whole new meaning.
Mike Pence says U.S. will open embassy in Jerusalem next year
Washington Examiner, January 22, 2018:
Vice President Mike Pence said Monday that the U.S. will open its embassy in Jerusalem next year, accelerating the administration’s plans for the move after President Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Mr. Pence made the announcement to Israel’s parliament.
“In the weeks ahead, our administration will advance its plan to open the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem — and the embassy will open next year,” he said. “Our president made his decision in the best interests of the United States — but he also made it clear that we believe this decision is in the best interests of peace. By finally recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the United States has chosen fact over fiction — and fact is the only true foundation for a just and lasting peace.”
When Mr. Trump made the decision late last year, it was expected that the embassy move from Tel Aviv would take about three or four years.
