Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ political team released a video Tuesday that shows the graphic results of multiple transgender surgeries alongside President Joe Biden’s comments on "The Daily Show" where he called the Republican’s policies "cruel."

During an appearance on Comedy Central on Monday night, Biden said that "what’s going on in Florida" when it comes to transgender people is "close to sinful."

DeSantis’ video of Biden's remarks features a split screen with Biden on the left and still photos of double mastectomy and skin graft scars on the right. The bottom of the screen reads, "Biden thinks it’s ‘cruel’ Florida banned these surgeries for children."

"It's just terrible what they're doing," Biden says in the video. "It's not like, you know, a kid wakes up one morning and says, you know, ‘I decided I wanted to become a man’ or ‘I want to become a woman.’ I mean, what are they thinking about?" Read more, see tweet and videos here.

How DeSantis Is Going After a Miami Hotel for Hosting a Drag Show With Children Present

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is looking to pull the liquor license from a luxury Miami hotel for hosting a sexually explicit drag show in the presence of minors.

According to a statement from the governor’s office, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation warned the Hyatt Regency Miami, but the hotel moved forward with the show, "A Drag Queen Christmas," anyway.

    During the event, performers showed their prosthetic breasts and genitals, rubbed their prosthetic female breasts on the faces and mouths of audience members, intentionally exposed their rears, were "simulating masturbation" and had "graphic depictions of childbirth and/or abortion," according to a complaint that the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation filed.

    "A Drag Queen Christmas" took place in late December and was initially promoted by the hotel with Christmas-themed materials that did not warn of sexually explicit content and included the words "all ages welcome," according [to] the complaint.
