Op-ed:
Two Losers and the Ghost of John McCain
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

While the current news cycle is all about impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, and Syria, Syria, Syria... there are a few other news worthy items that are both comical and maddening at the same time while receiving but cursory attention at best. So along those lines let's start with the fact that Bernie Sanders...2016 's Mr. “Feel the Bern” himself...has not a snowball's chance in hell of getting the 2020 Democrat nomination let alone winning the presidency...both his heart attack and his far left politics have sealed that fate.

The now shadow of the man he once was...Bernie Sanders remains the man who continues to espouse the supposed virtues of socialism no matter its many proven foibles while still enjoying living large off the millions of dollars capitalism has afforded him, doing so while refusing to follow doctor's orders to slowdown. Instead, Bernie has upped his anti-American vitriol to such a degree while out on the campaign trail, during the Democrat debates, as well as in the media, that it's quite possible Bernie won't be around come nomination time...after all the heart can only take so much...but know I don't wish him harm and neither should you.

The simple fact is that Bernie Sanders cannot win as he's even a bit too far left for some progressives lurking within the now Democrat-Socialist party...progressives who while championing Bernie's “free stuff” mantra along with a growing number of millennials currently in his corner... have started to...albeit to a small degree...come to the realization that nothing in this life is actually free. And when you now add in that the leader of the infamous “Squad”...one Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez...has just formally endorsed him...Bernie's Sanders chances of winning anything have gone down from slim to none.

Why so...for starters how about Bernie's adding AOC to his campaign team. Remember, this is the woman who is not well liked even in her own 14th Congressional district as she is the one who almost single-handily killed the Amazon deal...a deal where Amazon was going to open up a new headquarters in New York City...a deal that would have created 25,000 new jobs and added about $30 billion in revenue to not only the very city deep in debt but to New York State itself. Even the infamous Mayor Bill DeBlasio called AOC to task for her job-killing stance. In fact, DeBlasio went so far as to say that, “[I have] progressive roots [and will] take on any progressive – anywhere – that thinks it’s a good idea to lose jobs and revenue.” And AOC then had the gall to say that fixing the subways instead of creating jobs would have been money better spent.

And so this delusional ex-bartender...and not a very good one so I've been told...is who Bernie Sanders is welcoming with open arms to his official team of campaign endorsing supporters...not the greatest idea I would think.

But to make matters worse, Bernie Sanders recently stated that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will have an “important position” in his administration “when”...yes he said “when”...he becomes president. Seems like Bernie's heart attack caused a serious momentary lack of oxygen to his brain.

And so the woman whose sole claim to political fame is that she has 5.6 million Twitter followers is also the woman who introduced the cost prohibited, bat-loon crazy Green New Deal to the American public...a deal that would see all buildings in this country being torn down and rebuilt to stringent new EPA standards; would see "planes, trains, and automobiles" becoming but a thing of the past; and would have cows either wearing diapers or with a cork up their butt, And AOC claims it's all in the name of protected the world from what was originally Al Gore's “global cooling” nonsense morphed into “global warming” nonsense now morphed into “climate change” nonsense... as in what's simply the “weather”...and that's not nonsense at all.

And Bernie seems to have no problem with the cost of AOC's Green New Deal...nonsense he supports no matter that it's implementation cost on the low end would be $52 trillion over the next ten years up to $92 trillion on the high end, also spread out over the next ten years. But when you add in Bernie's Medicare for All proposal...now estimated to cost at least $34 trillion over the same ten years...with that being more than the total current cost of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid combined...you cannot ignore the fact that these two socialists obviously care nothing about adding to our already staggering national debt...a debt currently standing at $22.03 trillion and growing. Nor do they care that the American taxpayer would again be forced to foot the bill...via drastically higher taxes...for both new proposals and more, including a single-payer healthcare system, student loan forgiveness, free public college, a wealth tax on the super-rich, universal childcare, and early childhood education...which would add to the percentage we taxpayers already pay to help bring down the national debt.

And the bottom line here is that all the “free stuff” proposed by Bernie Sanders and seconded by AOC, sees only the “gimme-gimme folks”...folks now generationally with their hands out...not understanding that while these are promises made they're simply promises that cannot be kept, but they're promises that will help Bernie “buy” their votes come the primary elections.

So if Bernie Sanders thinks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's endorsement will help him garner the much needed mainstream Democrat vote he is sorrily mistaken for the only ones AOC really appeals to are young clueless millennial sorts who talk a good talk but who are just too lazy to get off their parent's couch and actually go out and vote...as in the newest generation of young people who've been indoctrinated into believing that it's better to receive than to go get a job and be responsible for one's own self.

And while AOC is now being called to task by some leading Democrats for not endorsing a “woman of color” or at least another minority candidate, her support for Bernie Sanders was actually a pre-ordained given as AOC got into politics as an organizer for Bernie's 2016 presidential campaign, as well as it being Bernie's staffers who recruited her to run for Congress. And dare we forget two important commonalities shared between these two, with the first being that both want to literally “overthrow” our capitalistic economy and replace it with socialism...that is until they run out of other people's money...and second, both are card carrying members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the very anti-capitalist group working within yet standing apart from the Democrat party. Translation: both Bernie Sanders and AOC are hypocritical sorts who enjoy reaping the benefits of what the more mainstream Democrat party and our country has to offer while at the same time relishing in destroying the once honorable party of JFK from within.

So while some still believe that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's endorsement will at least bring enough “energy” into Bernie's campaign to see him make it to the primaries, the fact remains that AOC may do little to nothing to bring much needed minority votes...especially black votes...over to Bernie. And besides, Bernie Sanders campaign is already faltering what with major polls now showing “Pocahontas” Warren kicking him out of second place and even overtaking “Uncle Joe” in a few of those polls. Bye-bye Bernie, it's time to accept your moniker as “socialism's grandfather” and just fade away for you will never be president nor will America ever become a socialist nation...President Trump will surely see to that.

And then there's Utah's now junior Senator Mitt Romney, the man I supported for president back in 2012 who has now sadly morphed into the ghost of John McCain. So filled with hate for President Trump this once honorable man has made taking down Trump his 24/7 agenda, basically picking up where McCain left off. But don't think that doesn't come with consequences because it does.

But before I get into those consequences let's take a brief look at the latest in the ongoing Romney/Trump feud...a feud that started on the day Mitt Romney lost to Obama and Donald Trump...whose support he had garnered... publicly stated that Romney was not strong or assertive enough during the campaign...which was one hundred percent correct. Making amends of sorts when now President Trump considered Romney for his Secretary of State, things got even more unsettling when Rex Tillerson was chosen instead.

And so the tensions kept building and reached a culmination of sorts when on January 1, 2019, newly elected Utah Senator Mitt Romney arrived in Washington D.C. with a vehemently anti-Trump op-ed in hand. Printed in The Washington Post and titled, The President Shapes the Public Character of the Nation. Trump’s Character Falls Short, this op-ed was nothing but a hit piece against the man who won the office Romney coveted but could never attain with its bottom line for Romney being that Trump “has not risen to the mantle of the office.” But what makes this even more grievous is that Mitt Romney sought and accepting President Trump's endorsement during his Senate campaign.

And from this point on now Senator Mitt Romney has continued to channel his inner John McCain by painting himself as a true conservative...as McCain tried to do and failed...with Trump being the founder of what Romney calls “Trumpism.” But the fact is that half the nation voted for Trump because of his conservative values, especially on key moral issues, as well as for his known business savvy. Translation: All of Mitt Romney's venom spewed has allowed him to pick-up where John McCain left off, thus affording him the designation of RINO as well, and that comes replete with a healthy dose of Jeff Flake's animosity thrown in for good, or should I say bad measure.

Now fast forward to this past October 5th when Mitt Romney called President Trump's supposed appeals to Ukraine and China to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter "wrong and appalling." The only thing “wrong and appalling” was Romney drawing this conclusion before the phone transcript of the call had even been released...before Ukraine President Zelensky himself said nothing improper had taken place...as in no appeal was made. And President Trump's response came via a tweet in which he called Romney “a pompous ass who has been fighting me from the beginning" adding that Romney could have won the 2012 election if he "worked this hard on Obama."

How right President Trump is as shades of Hillary Clinton sees Mitt Romney also blaming everybody but himself for his loss as well as his seeking revenge for something solely of his own doing.

And dare we forget Mitt Romney's recently taking to the Senate floor after President Trump announced our troop withdrawal from northern Syria to call Trump's supposed abandonment of the Kurds “a bloodstain in the annals of American history.” Nothing like Romney's spouting off without knowing all the facts to add to an already overheated political impeachment fire.

And yet no matter how Trump counters Mitt Romney's accusations, Romney's now over inflated ego and quest for revenge unfortunately sees him remaining steadfast in his threats to see President Trump removed from office. And this can be witnessed by his recent interviews with Axios where he alluded to musings that he might head up what he now calls a “breakaway group of Republican senators” in turning against Trump if he does happen to get impeached in the House. But Mitt Romney can bloviate all he wants as he needs a minimum of twenty Republican senators to pull that off and those numbers are thankfully just not there.

Now as for the consequences of his actions, Mitt Romney has both personal and political egg on his face for it was recently discovered that Romney has a secret Twitter account where he uses the moniker “Pierre Delecto,” and has had said account for eight years, ever since his presidential run against Obama. But even though he only used said account 10 times since 2011...used it to either offer “mild criticism” of President Trump while tweeting “polite defenses” of himself...what's troubling about this is that now Senator Mitt Romney...a man so vocal against President Trump in Congress and while playing to the cameras...did not have the courage to stand by his online convictions needing instead a phony virtual identity by which to do his dirty work. Makes one wonder about the true character of the man who dares to question President Trump's moral fortitude.

And then there's this political consequence few politicians want to see, as in falling poll numbers. In fact, as I write this, Mitt Romney actually has a lower approval rating than a disapproval rating, and it's all because of his very public sour grapes feud with President Trump. The man who in 2018 was elected as Utah's next senator with 62% of the vote now sees himself, as per a Utah Policy and Y2 Analytics survey, with only 46% of Utahans approving of his time on the Hill with 51% disapproving, and with those numbers more than likely continuing to fall.

Not good for the man who not that long ago aspired to our nation's highest office, but like they say “you reap what you sow.” And for Mitt Romney, just like with Hillary Clinton, and like it should have been for John McCain, it would have better served them to let their animosity against President Trump go.

News stories buried by the media now come to light as there's more going on than impeachment and Syria...just wanted you to know.

Jeff Sessions: Missing In Action...Again
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

While this is the beginning of my article I can safely say it's also the end of my article...an end where it becomes more than a bit apparent that as long as Jeff Sessions is attorney general, and as long as Republicans give Robert Mueller even more time to procrastinate in wrapping up his joke of a proven nonexistent Trump/Russia collusion investigation...Congress will use that as an excuse to stay unfocused and get nothing of substance done...while the mainstream media racks up ratings and advertising numbers as they continue to twist the truth into even more lies.

And while on occasion Jeff Sessions speaks out against sanctuary cities and the need to cut said cities federal funding as well as sporadically informing us that the round-up of illegals is still ongoing, there are so many other occasions where in his position as Attorney General, Sessions could have and should have done his job and brought charges against the guilty party or parties.

Remember when Obama illegally ordered spying on American citizens including all those who ran in the 2016 Republican presidential primary, I surely do. And I and so many others watched over time as said spying morphed into the media-hyped Russian dossier scandal Obama, Hillary, and crew were sure would take Trump and his presidency down. Starting off with the F.B.I. lying to the FISA courts regarding said dossier...a dossier now proven to have been funded by the Hillary campaign...with her full knowledge of course...it was also a dossier Rino John McCain personally hand delivered to the F.B.I. And he happily did so in an obvious attempt to get revenge on the man who said that he, McCain, was no war hero, and who he could not believe was actually elected president.

And dare we forget that it was former F.B.I. Director James Comey and crew who were charged with getting to the bottom of Hillary's email scandal, and who in a 'dog and pony' televised news conference actually had the gall to exonerate Hillary Clinton...exonerate her in what was actually found out later to be an exoneration James Comey himself wrote up even before he had bothered to interview Hillary regarding said scandal.

Silence on all above accounts from AG Jeff Sessions...who while not attorney general at the time of certain happenings still legally had and still has the power to bring charges, but who instead chose to recuse himself from anything even remotely involving or suspected of involving Russia...or for that matter Hillary or Obama. But what can you expect from the man who publicly stated that he wanted the Inspector General alone to look into all the above stated matters even while he knew that the Inspector General cannot prosecute anything...how convenient and 'red flagging' is that.

But then again Jeff Sessions says a whole bunch of things without his really saying or doing anything of substance. As examples of that lest we forget that Uranium One is still out there circling overhead and so is the Clinton Foundation...the first concerning Russia, Hillary, and treason; and the second concerning the buying and selling of political favors to foreign governments by the very two people whose payroll, I believe, Jeff Sessions might secretly be on. The true reason for his not prosecuting anything...perhaps.

And recently a group of Republican lawmakers...including Rep. Mark Meadows (N.C.) chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus along with two of the group's co-founders, Reps. Jim Jordan (Ohio) and Ron DeSantis (Fla.)...presented to Congress a 12-page resolution that asked for a second special counsel to probe all matters directly related to the ending of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's personal email server, the progress of the Trump/Russia investigation from its origins through the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel, and abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) during the warrant application process.

In fact, Rep. Lee Zeldin (N.Y.) when announcing the resolution to the press said that, "The Justice Department cannot be expected to investigate itself," adding that AG Jeff Sessions "should tap an independent investigator to examine whether FBI and Justice Department officials obtained surveillance warrants with insufficient evidence."

Really...Jeff Sessions would never do that for the obvious reason of possibly implicating himself, and besides does anyone really believe a second investigation would bring different results than the first...it's just another waste of time and our hard earned taxpayer dollars as we and Congress already know that certain folks most definitely belong locked up in jail.

And the fact is that AG Jeff Sessions could end this nonsense once and for all if it wasn't for his recusal getting in the way. Being just the same old nonsense but on a different day, maybe instead Congress should look into the real reason why Jeff Sessions recused himself in the first place. Perhaps I should send Congress the article The Case for Removing Jeff Sessions my RIGHT SIDE PATRIOTS partner Craig Andressen and I wrote to help aid them in doing what they know should have been done long ago...demand Jeff Sessions do his job or resign his position post-haste.

And now being thrown into the Jeff Sessions recusal mix comes the fact that President Trump recently demanded that the Department of Justice investigate whether the now disgraced F.B.I. infiltrated his presidential campaign via what he calls an “embedded informant”...an informant by the name of Stefan Halper who also sought a permanent position within the Trump administration...an informant who suddenly seems to have gone missing like so many others before him.

But to see the big picture regarding the now corrupted F.B.I. and how it ties into Sessions' inactions, one needs only to understand some basic facts, first of which is that under James Comey's directorship the F.B.I. was indeed Obama's private army of sorts...maybe not the rank-and-file agents per se but surely the hierarchy all have the stink of Obama on their hands. Doing Obama's bidding by looking away to not only protocol breached, but by actually tampering with and even destroying evidence revolving around Hillary's email scandal in order to try and assure her win...and Obama's third term in office I might add...now places the F.B.I. on its own 'wanted list.' And when you add into the mix that the Hillary campaign actually helped to fund the Steele dossier/Russian collusion nonsense the once great F.B.I. becomes but a joke that saw educated men and women suddenly and willingly choosing to play dumb especially when it came to the FISA court.

Comey's F.B.I. and those in the D.O.J. knew well the true duties and obligations of the FISA court, and yet they manipulated said duties and obligations into not only affecting domestic politics, but in setting the course said politics would take. How so...by together creating a scandal to manipulate votes against Donald Trump and in favor of Hillary Clinton...the above stated Steele dossier, charges of Russian collusion, and vote tampering nonsense was born. And that nonsense took on a life of its own and grew to the point where we now know as fact that in 2016-2017 the FISA court was “abused by intelligence officials”...aka the F.B.I...who used the phony dossier as their prime evidence  against President Trump.

And with 'We the People' knowing what we know now... courtesy of the limited information given to us in a 'throw them a bone' manner...so did AG Jeff Sessions know as well as did Barack HUSSEIN Obama for the fact is that as president, Obama was informed of all FISA court dealings and rulings as they happened. In fact, I believe, Obama is probably ground zero for this whole sorted mess...with Jeff Sessions recusing himself for one obvious reason alone...not to protect himself or his real or imaginary dealings with Russia, but to protect Obama alone.

Are the pieces of the puzzle coming together for you yet?

Remember, all these shenanigans boil down to one thing...a not so hidden 'Deep State' attempt to try and negate the 2016 election results. Removing President Trump from office, through impeachment if need be, and to install Hillary Clinton as president was and still is their main goal no matter that Hillary is a drunken, America-hating, socialist spouting, U.N. controlled, islamist-condoning puppet-on-a-string...albeit one with the all-important D after her name.

I guess the plotters and planners truly forgot that even if Trump was indeed somehow impeached Hillary Clinton would still not even be on the presidential succession list as V.P. Mike Pence would now head said list.

But again, Jeff Sessions knows this all and still sat mum on the sidelines. And why am I so sure of all I just said... said even beyond what was exposed in Craig and my previously stated article...why...because Jeff Sessions did not request to be in yesterday's meeting Chief of Staff John Kelly was tasked with brokering...the all-important Trump called for meeting between congressional leaders and the F.B.I., the D.O.J., and the office of the Director of National Intelligence. And really why wouldn't Jeff Sessions in his capacity as attorney general not want to be there...to be there if only to garner first hand information to help him set up a case against any and all guilty parties...that's in his job description after all...leading me to believe this has to do not just with his recusal from all things Russian connected, but because of the actual act of recusal itself.

And this, again I believe, has possibly led some in high places to now consider that Jeff Sessions just might be the White House leaker. Remember, some of the leaks have stopped since islamic-condoner and now former National Security Advisor Gen. H.R. McMaster has been gone...some...but not all.

But even if the above stated is proven to be true, a hero of sorts has entered the picture as Rep. Trey Gowdy (S.C.)...the House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman...has taken a special interest in the F.B.I.'s mishandling of the entirety of the Russian investigation. And Gowdy's interest peeked after earlier this month he met with some members of the Department of Justice to go over their role in now exposed F.B.I.-FISA abuses.

And so at 12 noon yesterday the first of two meetings regarding what has become known as "Skygate" took place...sans Jeff Sessions of course...at Department of Justice headquarters. Present were White House Chief of Staff John Kelly; White House Council Emmett T. Flood, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; F.B.I. Director Christopher Wray; Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats; House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes...who also accused the FBI of planting an "informant" (a spy) within the Trump campaign...and above stated House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Trey Gowdy. And at the very last minute Representative Adam B. Schiff of California, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, was included in said meeting after leading Democrats accused Nunes and Gowdy of holding a partisan meeting that "could be weaponized" against the D.O.J. and even against Robert Mueller himself.

So what was the outcome of this first meeting...simply a lot of whining that the president's council attended said meeting. But really why shouldn't he be there to protect President Trump's interests, after all tensions between the White House and Sessions' Department of Justice are at an all time high what with the Russian investigation being nothing but a witch hunt, blatant F.B.I. improprieties more than bordering on the criminal, and the now come to light accusations of a spy being placed by said F.B.I. within the Trump campaign.

The second meeting at 2pm...again sans Jeff Sessions... was called for after Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer whined that no Democrats were invited to Kelly's first meeting even though Mark Warner...the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee...was asked to attend but declined. This meeting was attended by a select bipartisan group of lawmakers with whom the government’s most sensitive intelligence is shared...a group referred to as the 'Gang of 8'...also saw John Kelly, Rod Rosenstein, Christopher Wray, Dan Coats, and Trey Gowdy in attendance...with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and former decliner Sen. Mark Warner there as well.

And while there is a 'gag order' of sorts against disclosing what was said at this second meeting as well as what was said at the first, you just know the supposed F.B.I. informer Stefan Halper was a key point of discussion. And we all know that over the next few days information will surely leak out as it has done so many times in the past.

And so what I said at the beginning of my article holds just as true at the end for AG Jeff Sessions' silence and absences in regards to both meetings and all the things stated above is the direct cause of everything getting out of hand. If Jeff Sessions had not recused himself...if he had done his job as America's chief law enforcement official...the guilty would now be in jail awaiting their court dates, and an innocent man would finally be totally free to do the job 'We the People' elected him to do...unencumbered by shear nonsense hanging over his head.

And oh yes...I hope President Trump fires Jeff Sessions now.

Op-ed:
You’re Fired...and Rightfully So                                      By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

“My confidence in the FBI director’s ability to lead this agency has been shaken.”
- House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s former words

And so begins the saga of now former F.B.I. Director James Comey who by this point in time everybody knows was fired by President Trump late Tuesday afternoon as per the recommendation of both Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein. Fired for as Trump says, “not doing a good job”...which puts it mildly to say the least...James Comey learned from news reports while in LaLaland that he had been fired. While speaking before a group of F.B.I. employees, television screens behind him began flashing the news of his firing. And like a deer caught in the headlights, Comey response was one of feigned shock as he laughed it off thinking it was a practical joke, but little did he know that at the exact same moment he was laughing a letter was being sent to official F.B.I. headquarters telling Comey he was history.

History...but to know the history of James Comey...who was but three years into his ten year term...is to know that it was his history alone that led to his downfall...his firing was just the icing on the proverbial cake. And that cake has two-layers...one layer being Hillary’s emails as the chief reason why Comey was fired, and the second layer being all things Russian as the left’s throwback in Trump’s face as it being the very thing they think he is still trying to hide.

And the Obama appointee’s self-inflicted downfall can be traced via a two-fold overlapping timeline that started almost a year ago when the FBI first launched an investigation into what they believed were ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Acquiring a warrant to spy on Carter Page, a Trump foreign policy adviser with long-held known financial ties to the Kremlin, Comey himself was the one to approve more scrutiny when he deemed it was warranted.

Now remember that at this same time the F.B.I. was also investigating all things relating to Hillary’s emails, and on July 5th, James Comey held a press conference to explain his decision that even though Hillary did indeed show “great carelessness” in how she handled and disseminated secret and classified information via her emails on a private server she never should have had, no charges would be brought against her. And Comey followed up just two days later when he spewed the same rhetoric before the House Oversight Committee again defending his decision...a decision that saw him playing the role of judge, jury, and adjudicator of all things Hillary Clinton...a role that was not his to play.

But then on October 28th, just 11 days before the presidential election, James Comey announced that the F.B.I. had opened a new probe into Hillary’s emails because they found numerous, previously undisclosed emails “that appear to be pertinent” to the earlier investigation...as in Clinton-related emails found on the confiscated computer of disgraced ex-congressman Anthony Weiner, the now estranged husband of (I believe) Muslim Brotherhood operative Huma Abedin. And then just two days before the election Comey again states that no recommendation to prosecute Hillary would be forthcoming. And while Republicans rightfully seethed the Democrats cheered the outcome, but they no longer fully trusted their once golden boy.

Now for a bite of the Russian part of the cake for in December, RINO Senator John McCain personally gave Comey a dossier from Christopher Steele...a former British spy. In that dossier was alleged proof that the Russians had compromising material on Trump, and that his campaign actively coordinated with Russian hackers to target Hillary. And within a few short weeks the F.B.I. confirmed that the sources cited were credible and could not be dismissed, thus leading the F.B.I. to brief both Obama and now President-elect Donald Trump on the contents of said dossier.

At this point all remains somewhat quiet that is until February 15th of this year when James Comey called Reince Priebus to reject a White House request that the F.B.I. help prove that press reports of an investigation into the Trump campaign having ties to Russia were false...were ‘fake news.’

And from this point on it seemed that James Comey’s fate was sealed because on March 20th, after both the House and Senate Intelligence Committees had started their own investigations into alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 election, Comey was called to testify before the House Intelligence Committee where he stated, “[The FBI is] investigating the nature of any links between individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the Russian government and whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia’s efforts,” thus making it next to impossible to separate the F.B.I.’s investigation into Russia from an investigation into Trump himself because it was asked, did Trump approve of actions supposedly taken to damage Hillary’s campaign.

Now let’s fast-forward to May 2nd...when the Hillary layer of the proverbial cake again surfaced this time with words said...words that the investigation into her private email server cost her the election, which led President Trump to immediately respond via Twitter to say, “FBI Director Comey was the best thing that ever happened to Hillary Clinton in that he gave her a free pass for many bad deeds! The phony Trump/Russia story was an excuse used by the Democrats as justification for losing the election. Perhaps Trump just ran a great campaign?”

And how right President Trump was and still is.

Then the following day Comey defended himself before the Senate Judiciary Committee against Democrats’ charges that he had been inconsistent in speaking publicly about his investigation into Hillary’s emails while remaining silent about indications of improper ties between Trump’s associates and unidentified Russians. But know that if the F.B.I. had actually uncovered undeniable proof that the Trump campaign had covertly worked with the Russians against Hillary, it could well be the kind of scandal that could bring an end to the Trump presidency...but they obviously found nothing of the sort.

And this now brings us up to speed to this past Monday afternoon when President Trump fired James Comey, but not for his overlapping investigation into never proven-Russian involvement in the election, but because he felt that Comey is “no longer fit to lead the Bureau” as proven by his handling...or should I say mishandling...of Hillary’s email scandal alone.

But this above stated history and timeline would not be complete without a footnote being inserted here...an important footnote for notice how news of James Comey’s firing did not leak out before it was officially announced...did not leak out like so many other important things have recently leaked out...with most being scapegoated onto the Russians. And why was this...could James Comey...who was well known to play both sides of the political aisle...possibly be the very leak...or at least one of the leaks...President Trump and his people have been looking for...just something to think about.

Now at this point you need to accept as fact that James Comey did play both sides of the aisle and never hid the fact that he was doing so...meaning all credibility he ever had is now lost. And some Democrats...Democrats who held grudges that Comey even dared to investigate Hillary and who spoke out against him more times than not...are now defending him. One example is Chuck Schumer who in the past called Comey’s ability to lead the agency into question, but who has now that the deed of firing him been done said that the decision to fire Comey was “indicative of a cover-up.” But why the sudden flip...could it be because Schumer and his fellow Democrats realize that they have lost their ‘pipeline’ into the Trump administration’s doings...again just something to think about.

"The timing of this firing was very troubling," said Senator Ben Sasse, a Nebraska Republican who never was and still is no fan of President Trump.

Timing indeed, but it is not the timing of Comey’s firing that must be called into question...as the president can Constitutionally do so at any time of his choosing...but the fact that some on our side...that some Republicans... are questioning the firing at all. When Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-NE) said that he was, "troubled by the timing and reasoning" of Comey’s firing adding that, "I have found Director Comey to be a public servant of the highest order...and his dismissal further confuses an already difficult investigation by the committee”...you have to wonder why a farce of an investigation by a farce of a committee is still wasting our hard earned taxpayer dollars looking into ‘supposed’ Russian involvement in the election that Hillary lost...translation...looking into something that even the F.B.I. found no evidence whatsoever of it happening.

Found no evidence of it happening...yet #NeverTrump Republican Jason Chaffetz, the chairman of yet another committee...the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee...sent a letter on Wednesday to the Justice Department’s inspector general asking him to expand the review of the FBI’s actions during the 2016 election and to include the “facts and circumstances surrounding” Trump’s firing of James Comey. And this leaves one to wonder just why Chaffetz cannot accept the fact that Comey was fired simply because he was “not doing a good job.” Seems Chaffetz has a lot of problems with President Trump’s decisions of late...maybe that is one reason why, besides his kumbaya stance on muslims, that he is not running for re-election.

And Comey’s being fired now that rumors are circulating that he recently asked for more ‘resources’ to continue that investigation...throws a wrench into any and all ego-driven investigations even though it was announced yesterday that James Comey will appear next week in a private meeting with said committee in his now private citizen guise. And that leaves one to wonder if James Comey will sing the same tired old song or if he changes his testimony yet again, especially since former national security adviser Lt. General Michael Flynn has been subpoenaed by the Senate Intelligence Committee to provide them with documents relevant to its Russia inquiry...the very documents he refused to provide last month.

But the bottom line in all this is that James Comey, his overinflated ego, and self-anointed bravado, is his own worst enemy for he thought himself untouchable no matter that he was previously only trusted by Democrats when his political decisions leaned in their direction, that Republicans only trusted him based upon their like or dislike for President Trump, and the American public did not trust him at all after he let Hillary off scot-free.

If the man had any decency or love for this country in him, he would have resigned a long time ago for the handwriting of his firing was on the wall and had been ever since Donald J. Trump placed his hand upon the Lincoln Bible and assumed the office of the presidency.

But know that President Trump had a very difficult decision to make, politically wise, for he knew both the kudos and the flack that he would get, yet he made that difficult decision and did so for the good of this country. And while his decision is indeed raising a maelstrom with some in both political parties, that very decision actually serves the F.B.I. itself well for it gives them a chance to rebuild the trust they have lost with ‘We the People’ and it gives them the chance to, as Senator Lindsay Graham of all people says, "The FBI is one of our nation's most cherished and respected institutions, and today will mark a new beginning for our crown jewel of law enforcement."

And you know what...Lindsay Graham’s statement proves the old adage that even a broken clock is right twice a day for he knew that James Comely had to go as he was the face of an F.B.I. that no longer served this country or her people well. And Comey himself must have known deep down that this was coming as witnessed by words in his farewell letter to the F.B.I. where he both tried to temper down those angry over Trump’s decision and where he urged the organization to continue to protect the American people and uphold the Constitution. Saying that he has “long believed that a president can fire an FBI director for any reason, or for no reason at all”...James Comey has finally spoken the truth.

So to the Democrats who are erroneously saying that the firing of James Comey bears a direct parallel to Richard Nixon’s firing of special investigator Archibald Cox who was looking into the Watergate scandal; to the Democrats with 'selective memory' who willingly choose to forget that their very own Bill Clinton fired F.B.I. Director William Sessions in 1993 over 'supposed' financial irregularities; and to the few but oh so annoyingly vocal disillusioned Republicans amongst us I say, Donald J. Trump is the duly elected president of our country, and the sooner you accept that as fact the sooner our country will start to unite and heal, and move America on towards greatness once again.

Op-ed:
McCain v. Trump: A Tail of a Two-Tailed Coin                By: Diane Sori and Craig Andresen / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

“I think it was disgraceful — disgraceful that the intelligence agencies allowed any information that turned out to be so false and fake out. That’s something that Nazi Germany would have done, and did do.”
 – President-elect Donald Trump on the recently disclosed ‘Fake News’ story alleging ties between him and Russia

He’s mad...furious in fact...and rightly so.

By now we all know that Donald Trump is denying any and all accusations that Russia... that Vladimir Putin...tried to "cultivate and compromise” either him personally with what has been proven to be a ‘Fake News’ story or concerning the outcome of November’s election. And you know what...he’s one hundred percent correct on both accounts, and he’s right that these allegations were and are nothing but what he called a “political witch hunt.”

Now rightfully accusing one of the purveyors of ‘Fake News’...the still Obama-controlled U.S. intelligence services...of taking “one last shot” at him...Trump is furious over a recently reported on by CNN totally debunked BuzzFeed story. Released by Buzzfeed in the days leading up to Trump’s inauguration, an article titled 'Trump Has Deep Ties To Russia’ with the byline of Ken Bensinger, Mark Schoofs, and Miriam Elder, was posted online claiming that Russia has been “cultivating“ Trump for over five years and that Trump has been in constant contact with the Kremlin for information on his opponents most especially Hillary Clinton. And this article also claimed that they had proof that Trump was engaging in sexual misconduct and that the Russians were blackmailing him in regards to it.

Well guess what...it’s all false...it’s all lies...and all done as a last minute ploy by the left to try and stop Donald Trump from being able to take the oath of office come January 20th.

In fact, Moscow has denied the claims via Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who said that, “The information is not true and is nothing other than a total fabrication,” adding that, “It’s a complete fake, it’s a complete fabrication, it’s total nonsense.”

Briefly, about seven or so months ago, Christopher Steele, a former British spy who had been undercover in Moscow in the early 1990s and who later was the top expert on Russia at the London headquarters of Britain’s spy agency, MI6, and who upon his retirement in 2009 formed his own commercial intelligence firm, 'Orbis Business Intelligence' (and who had done work for the F.B.I. on the investigation of bribery at the FIFA, soccer’s global governing body), won a “contract” to compose a dossier on Donald Trump’s ties to Russia. And then last Friday, an unsubstantiated and unverified account of that dossier... which included encounters with prostitutes, real estate deals made that were to be used as bribes, and cases where Donald Trump 'supposedly' worked with Russian intelligence to hack the DNC computers...was presented to Trump in an appendix to a top-secret intelligence report.

Now another important fact that you should know...these exact claims have been circulating for months but most major news organizations have already seen those allegations in one form or another, and despite their well-known disdain for Donald Trump, they rightfully chose not to publish nor even allude to the now published BuzzFeed article replete with its allegations concerning the afore mentioned events, and they did so simply because all of their efforts to verify those allegations have failed.

Again, note the words ‘unsubstantiated and unverified’ because this is the lynch-pin in proving this was nothing but a “witch hunt” by those still whining and crying over the fact that Hillary did not win.

But to those words must be added the word ‘lie’ for a major lie was included in this report that should leave all involved at BuzzFeed and CNN with not only egg on their face but with consequences to pay.

And that involves the article’s claim that Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, met with Kremlin officials in Prague to set the stage for the release of documents hacked from the DNC and other Democratic organizations. But the problem is that Michael Cohen has never been to Prague, and in fact it has been verified that he was with his son visiting USC and meeting with the baseball coach on the date the meeting was supposedly to have taken place. In fact, one Mr. Solodukhin, his purported Russian contact, denied his ever having met Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen or anyone associated with Donald Trump.

So obviously a different Michael Cohen with no Trump ties whatsoever may have visited Prague during the time in question and that the two Michael Cohen's were somehow mixed up in Steele’s dossier...an honest mistake we doubt it...upon which BuzzFeed’s article and CNN’s report was based.

Ooops...

So why did U.S. intelligence services release and CNN report on something they knew contained not only unsubstantiated and unverified information...lies actually if truth be told...except that they colluded in a last ditch attempt to smear Donald Trump before he could be sworn in as America’s 45th president.

And now add into this assorted mix that major RINO extraordinaire, Arizona Senator John McCain, has now admitted that it was he who handed what he thought was the only dossier that smeared Donald Trump over to the F.B.I., totally unaware that the F.B.I. was already privy to this information.

Recently saying on his website that, “Late last year, I received sensitive information [on Donald Trump] that has since been made public” and that, “Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI,” John McCain has proven that this maneuver of his was nothing but payback for Donald Trump’s words said back in July 2015 at the 'Family Leadership Summit' in Ames, Iowa, when Trump said, “He’s not a war hero...He’s a war hero because he was captured,” then adding that, “I like people that weren’t captured," basically defaming and marginalizing McCain’s war heroics.

And while Trump might have fired the first shot, so to speak, during a heated primary season, that hatchet was believed to have been buried some time ago when McCain finally came out, albeit late in the game, in support of Donald Trump’s nomination for president. But now we know it wasn’t...it laid festering inside him until McCain felt the time was right for the ultimate payback.

And while most, if not all Conservatives have been unhappy for some time with McCain’s politics, most do show him the respect due to a veteran who paid a steep price while being held as a prisoner of the Viet Cong.

Trump...didn’t. He later denied that he said it, later still tried to deflect away from it, but the truth is he did say it and there was, at that point, no going back.

Throughout the 2016 campaign, McCain used every opportunity he could to deride Donald Trump and continued to do so even after Trump had the nomination. Rather than looking to unify voters around the Republican Party nominee, McCain did everything he could think of to get Hillary elected.

But that’s not where this tale of a two-tailed coin ends. In fact, it's far from it.

The dossier that McCain handed over to the F.B.I. was as bogus as any dossier could possibly be. It was full of falsehoods, lies and smears. That much we know for sure. It was also something which we now know was already in the possession of the F.B.I. before McCain passed it on to them. To say the least, and not to employ an already overused liberal phrase, but what it was, was 'Fake News.' Real, authentic, 'Fake News.'

Naturally, Trump launched into a Twitter frenzy over it, both condemning media outlets for running the smear piece and going after the content of that smear piece as he had every right to do.

Or did he have that right? That’s the real question here...has Trump actually the right to be upset by this fraudulent dossier?

Remember, after Trump got the nomination, we actively got behind him to defeat the treasonous Hillary Clinton, but we’re not members of the bandwagon nor are we blindly riding the 'so-called' Trump train. We said we would hold Donald Trump accountable, as we have held Obama and Hillary accountable, and so we will even if it upsets the riders of the train.

For Donald Trump to show his outrage over a 'Fake News' story now, makes him today’s poster boy for hypocrisy.

Remember when Trump went after Ted Cruz...getting behind, if not out in front of a National Enquirer story falsely accusing Cruz of several extramarital affairs?

How about that false story Trump pushed for months regarding Cruz stealing the Iowa Caucus from Dr. Ben Carson?

Speaking of Ben Carson...remember when Trump referred to the good doctor as being not very different from a child molester?

How about Trump’s false crusade against Marco Rubio...calling the Florida Senator "corrupt" and accusing him of "defrauding the people of Florida?”

“Lightweight Senator Marco Rubio is a dishonest person. He has cheated with credit cards, and does favors for lobbyists. In my opinion, he is a total crook and I am doing the people of Florida a great favor by further exposing him. Corrupt Marco Rubio has spent years defrauding the people of Florida.”

Absolutely none of that was true, and Donald Trump knew it, but he certainly wasn’t above smearing his competition during primary season when it was politically expedient for him to do so.

To be as honest as possible, perhaps brutally so, the Oval Office is no place for the thin of skin, and in a world of 24/7 news cycles, where everything a politician says is captured on tape somewhere, by someone, President-elect Trump needs to add a few epidural layers and fast. He also needs to stop thinking of himself as the only one either capable, or with the clearance to file false news against others.

Trump’s outrage over this fabricated dossier doesn’t just seem to be hypocritical...it is indeed hypocritical.

Was Trump right to have spread false and salacious stories about his political rivals during the campaign? No. Was he right to have demeaned John McCain’s service? No, and neither was it right for McCain to take up Hillary’s side in the general election by refusing to vote for Trump any more than it was right for John McCain to pass along a fraudulent dossier to the FBI as a means by which to smear Trump.

But, as we said, this is the tale of a two-tailed coin, and one thing is always true of such coins...two wrongs do not make a right any more often than a two-tailed coin will ever come up heads.

To be perfectly candid, McCain’s actions with regard to the dossier in evidence, were wrong in so many ways, because whether or not McCain likes it, and he obviously doesn’t, Donald Trump is about to take the oath of office thus becoming our nation’s 45th president, and as such, he at the very least, is due the respect of verifying such a dossier before it gets passed along.

Turning the ship of state around, after eight miserable years under the Obama administration, is going to be hard enough at best, and the Commander-in-Chief certainly doesn’t need an old, rusty anchor like McCain dragging him down. Trump will have quite enough of that coming from the other side of the aisle, and McCain needs to make a decision as to on which side of that aisle he’s going to sit.

From where we stand, even with his faults, and yes train riders, Trump has faults, his agenda seems to be in line with bringing America back to the top of its game, and the top of the heap of international politics and leadership where we rightfully belong. Not everybody is going to like, or agree with every point of his agenda, or with the way he goes about it, but as the president, Donald Trump does have the authority to do whatever is within the law and in line with the Constitution to get things done.

To put this another way...

We believe that, in his own unorthodox way, Donald Trump is embarking on a quest to do what is right and best for this country, but it is very hard to find, in any way, shape, or form, that what McCain did by passing along what he had to know was a pack of lies and fabrications regarding Donald Trump, was in the best interest of this country.

McCain’s actions seem, for all the world, to have been driven by a personal vendetta...an act of political revenge aimed at Trump for a slight made in a public forum...an off the cuff, not all too well thought out comment, and as such, devolves itself from political rhetoric, to a disturbing realm of salacious lies most usually inhabited by liberals.

The campaign is over. The nomination and the general election won. Donald Trump is now just a few days away from assuming the office of the President, and John McCain seems to still be as hell-bent on stopping Trump as any garden variety, elected, or celebrity liberal.

John McCain either needs to switch his party affiliation to match his agenda of personal revenge, or he needs to sit down, ride out what one has to believe will be his final rodeo in the Senate, and shut the hell up.

Perhaps BuzzFeed or CNN is in need of a very senior editor in their political ethics divisions, and given his handling of the 'Fake News' dossier...John McCain could well be over qualified for either propaganda outlet.

In this tale of a two-tailed coin toss...Trump wins while McCain loses even more of his waning credibility.
