We won an election based on the Democrats being wholly incompetent on immigration and border security, so what do Republicans do? They’re working on a secret immigration bill during the lame-duck period. It’s a sick joke and a total disgrace. First, any comprehensive immigration deal with Democrats is going to be littered with nonsense, like a pathway to citizenship and other provisions that were roundly rejected in the 2024 election. Mass deportations are what’s on the agenda right now—that’s it. Second, you know the bill is bad if these talks are described as “very serious” and “very secret” (via Axios):

Pentagon says the number of US troops in Syria is much higher than previously reported

The Pentagon says there are 2,000 U.S. troops deployed in Syria, more than double what officials with the Department of Defense have been telling reporters for months.

"We have been briefing you regularly that there are approximately 900 U.S. troops deployed to Syria," Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Ryder told reporters during a press briefing on Thursday. "In light of the situation in Syria, and in significant interest, we’ve recently learned that those numbers were higher."

Ryder asked to look into the numbers and said he learned on Thursday that there are about 2,000 U.S. troops in Syria.

"It was explained to me these additional forces are considered temporary rotational forces that deploy to meet shifting mission requirements, whereas the core 900 deployers are on longer term deployments," he continued. "As you know, for many of our deployments, numbers will fluctuate from time to time, but given that this number is significantly higher than what we've been briefing, I wanted to let you know, as soon as I found out this information." The Lefty magazine hasn’t always been insufferable, as they’ve had decent pieces on Russian collusion hysterics, but this is a real doozy here. With the second Trump presidency on the horizon, the Left is pleading with Biden to issue a blanket pardon for all illegal aliens before he’s wheeled out of office.  

The article is a screed, a rage piece over the 2024 loss, Kamala Harris’ incompetence, and the Democrats’ continued journey into the political wilderness if they don’t find some chutzpah. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., while speaking at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., called out House Republicans for breaking a bipartisan agreement to fund the government and avoid a government shutdown, accusing them of hurting everyday Americans across the country.

UnitedHealthcare CEO murder suspect Luigi Mangione’s "only viable chance" of success in his murder case is "some type of psychiatric defense," according to New York-based attorney Daniel Gotlin.

Gotlin, of Gotlin & Jaffe, successfully tried a mental health defense in 2014 while representing a man accused of fatally stabbing his mother.

"My guess is they should try some kind of psychiatric defense where it mitigates his intent to do this in the hopes that instead of getting convicted of murder, he gets convicted of manslaughter," he told Fox News Digital. "Even if he gets the maximum, which is eight to 24 years ... he could still get out. You know, you may spend 15, 16 to 18 years in, but at least one day you're going to get out."

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Tuesday announced that a grand jury indicted Mangione on one count of first-degree murder, in furtherance of terrorism; two counts of second-degree murder; two counts of second-degree criminal weapons possession; four counts of third-degree criminal weapons possession; one count of fourth-degree criminal weapons possession; and one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Oh My Word...That's What Biden Said About the Drone Crisis

It’s been days since social media was frantic about mysterious drones flying over the skies of New Jersey. These aerials have now infiltrated the airspaces of other states—they shut down a US Air Force base in Ohio this week. Many theories exist because the Biden administration refuses to address the concerns adequately. New Jersey mayors are livid over the lack of response to the drone crisis. In a conference call with the Biden White House, one mayor alleged an unidentified drone the size of a vehicle hummed over their house.

Now, after his national security team has glossed over some reports and added that there’s nothing to fear, Biden has delivered remarks about the situation. First, it makes no sense. Second, could you imagine if this man had another four years in office? He’s cooked.

The ousted and outgoing president said there’s nothing nefarious and that there are a lot of drones out there.

 “I think one started, and they all got - everybody wanted to get in their deal,” he said.

Suspicious drone sightings in states across the Northeast in recent weeks may be coming from inside the United States, according to a military expert.

Civilians and lawmakers have reported drone sightings in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Ohio and other states, with local and federal law enforcement offering little information about the aerial activity, most of which has been spotted at night. Some of the drones are as large as 6 feet in diameter, according to New Jersey state Rep. Dawn Fantasia, who was briefed on the matter last week.

"The concern is definitely valid. One thing I do believe, I believe the government knows the source of these drones, and I believe the source of these drones is from inside the U.S., especially the larger drones," Col. William Dunn, president of Strategic Resilience Group, a government consulting group, told Fox News Digital. As Democrats hope to retain the governor’s seat in the swing state of Michigan with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer term-limited, a top Democratic figure has launched an independent bid, leading to a search on the left for an alternative standard-bearer.

Three-term Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, viewed for some time as very likely to seek the governor’s office, reportedly surprised the state’s body politic by announcing he will do so as an independent.

“I went to Lansing and built relationships with Democrats and Republicans. We took our neighborhoods out of the darkness of burned-out streetlights and we lit the entire city to the national standard… and reduced Detroit’s unemployment rate to its lowest rate in more than 30 years,” Duggan said in his campaign launch video.

'Going to be painful': Venezuelan expert sounds alarm about what's next if sanctuary city policies continue

An expert on the international criminal group Tren de Aragua (TdA) is warning that if sanctuary city and state policies are allowed to continue, the U.S. will soon be facing a slate of targeted assassinations across the U.S.

"The next step is targeted assassinations," said Jose Gustavo Arocha, a former lieutenant colonel in the Venezuelan army. "That is what has happened in Venezuela, what is happening in Latin America and that will happen here in the U.S."

Tren de Aragua, which means "Train from Aragua," is a massive criminal and terrorist organization that originated a decade ago in a Venezuelan prison. In addition to Venezuela, the group has already established a significant presence in Southern American countries, including Colombia, Peru and Chile and is present in 30 major U.S. cities.

According to Arocha, who fled the country after being imprisoned by socialist Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro for eight months, TdA is a "state-sponsored, Maduro regime organization," formed and trained by the Venezuelan government to sow chaos, violence and discord throughout the Western hemisphere. The establishment is up in arms because Donald Trump nominated Tulsi Gabbard to be Director of National Intelligence, and I must admit something – I probably don’t agree with some of the things Tulsi 

allegedly thinks. I’m generally more hawkish, and she’s generally more dovish. Now, we have to put things in perspective, because what regime media says about Tulsi Gabbard and her beliefs probably has nothing to do with Tulsi Gabbard or her beliefs. But let’s suspend disbelief for a moment – and that’s going to take a lot of suspending – and assume that the regime media is being honest and that she has a quirky foreign policy perspective that rejects the mainstream consensus about dictators like Vladimir Putin and former dictators/rogue ophthalmologists like Bashar al-Assad. If true, that is a good thing. 

It’s a feature, not a bug.

Trump Says He Will Work to 'Abolish' Daylight Savings Time

President-elect Donald Trump is making headlines again as he champions a movement to end daylight saving time, a practice that has sparked debate for years. Trump, who calls daylight saving time “inconvenient,” is working to transition the clock to follow standard time permanently. As he rallied support for this initiative, he suggested the move would restore the country's fortitude. 

Trump claimed that Daylight Saving Time has been “very costly to our nation,” saying that the Republican Party would use its best effort to “abolish it.” The long controversial move was first implemented in the U.S. during World War I to conserve fuel and energy by maximizing daylight hours. Drone mystery: New Jersey homeowners threaten to take matters into their own hands if government doesn't act

New Jersey residents frustrated with a lack of answers regarding dozens of potential drone sightings in the skies above their homes are threatening to take action on their own if the government doesn't start providing answers.

James Ward, a Jersey Shore realtor, shared video on Facebook that he said showed "SUV-size drones" above Island Beach State Park taken Sunday. It's difficult to judge their size in the clip, which showed a number of lights hovering in the sky.

"Dozens of SUV-size drones in all directions," the caption read. "Emerging at same time and flying over the ocean and then heading in different directions – what do you think?"

"A good shotgun will fix that problem," one commenter replied.

"Why hasn't anyone shot one down to look for a serial number to trace it back to the operator?" another wrote. "I would think that could provide a clue." Time Magazine has named Donald J. Trump their ‘Person of the Year.’ It’s not shocking—it leaked hours before it was made official, which didn’t sit well with the publication or its readers. Don Lemon was significantly perturbed that Trump was awarded this honor again—he won it in 2016 as well. Of course, MSNBC thinks the award is worthless because Trump won it. The best part is that we don’t care what these clowns believe, and neither does Trump. The media has never been more dismissed, mocked, or flat-out wrong since the 2016 election (via WaPo):

Time Magazine has named President-elect Donald J. Trump the ‘Man of the Year.’ There’s really no contest here: the man has been subjected to unprecedented levels of lawfare, vitriol, and character assassination, and he still was elected president of the United States. 

He’s the most investigated person to ever run for high office—and the Democrats still couldn’t stop him. They slapped him with over 100 criminal charges, and he beat them all. Donald J. Trump is flat-out unstoppable, and the 2024 election capped off the greatest political comeback ever. There’s nothing that compares. If Time hadn’t reportedly selected him, it would have been laughably hilarious. Oh, and I forgot—it’s going to be announced officially later today (via Politico):

It might have been a television show, but we could use FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully because drones have invaded New Jersey. Are they UFOs? We don’t know. It’s even more alarming that the FBI said this week on the Hill that they have no idea what’s going on above the skies of the Garden State. Leah had more:

New York City Marine veteran Daniel Penny sat down with Judge Jeanine Pirro for a powerful first interview since jurors found him not guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the subway chokehold death of Jordan Neely.

"He was just threatening to kill people," Penny said in a preview clip that aired on "The Five" Tuesday. "He was threatening to go to jail forever, go to jail for the rest of his life, and now I'm on the ground with him. I'm on my back in a very vulnerable position…If I'd just let him go, now I'm on my back and he can just turn around and start doing what he said – to me…killing, hurting."

Penny was arrested in May 2023 nearly two weeks after he was questioned and released following a deadly encounter with Neely, who was high on drugs and threatening to kill people on a Manhattan F train when the 26-year-old architecture student grabbed him in a headlock from behind. It’s time that Donald Trump consider pulling his surgeon general nominee. The president-elect selected Dr. Janette Nesheiwat. Nesheiwat and Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R-OR), nominated as our next labor secretary, are atrocious picks. I said that of the two, Ms. Chavez-DeRemer should go, but now both should be nuked from orbit. Why not? We just won an election. Trump has no election after this, and he should go back to the drawing board, especially with Nesheiwat, who is the medical embodiment of everything we voted against in November.

Daniel Penny's Fate Decided

Daniel Penny has been acquitted in the death of Jordan Neely.

A jury found Penny not guilty of criminally negligent homicide Monday following four-and-a-half days of deliberations and a month-long trial brought by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.

Penny, who was stoic through the entirety of the trial, let out his first smile when the forewoman read the verdict.

Neely's father, Andre Zachary, who has filed a lawsuit against Penny, had to be escorted out of the courtroom for his outburst.

Jurors told the judge Friday morning they couldn't come to a unanimous conclusion on the top charge of second-degree manslaughter, which carried a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. However, Judge Maxwell Wiley directed them to continue mulling over the decision until they could all agree on whether to convict or acquit Penny. Read more, see X and juror verdict sheet here.

...But, why exactly do I bring up this particular movie, and why now when other movies do broach a similar subject, and how exactly does this relate to the now “thankfully” almost over four years of hell our country has been going through courtesy of the Biden/Harris administration? Why...because what happened in England in this movie's violent plot line in what was deemed to be the near future actually was starting to happen here, in our own country, while President Trump was finishing up his then first term in office, albeit minus the drama of a post nuclear war background. 

Coming in the guise of what I call “veiled violence” as opposed to actual “physical violence,” I take this to mean it's when those in power willfully strip away “We the Peoples” rights and freedoms never mind that no blood is shed. How so? One needs only look to both the totalitarian and authoritarian policies of the Biden/Harris administration in regards to our southern border and the covid pandemic...policies directly in violation of not only our Constitution...for nowhere does the Constitution say that we must take in or give refuge to criminals, and nowhere does the Constitution give authority to start initiating what still seems to be a deliberate yet somewhat veiled “culling of the American herd.” Read entire article here.

Israel deploys paratroopers to Syria in 'defense activities' after fall of Assad

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the deployment is 'temporary'

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) deployed paratroopers into Syria to conduct "defense activities" on Sunday, after the fall of former Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime.The IDF said the deployment was meant to "proactively ensure the defense of Golan" amid the instability in Syria. Footage and images show paratroopers and heavily armored tanks deploying to the buffer zone. The move comes as both the U.S. and Israel have struck multiple targets within Syria following Assad's ouster.

 

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said early Monday morning that Israel also conducted strikes on suspected Syrian chemical weapons sites. Assad infamously used chemical weapons on his own civilians when former President Barack Obama was in office. The U.S. and Israel are taking steps to ensure that those weapons do not fall into the hands of the Islamist rebels now in control of Syria.

 

"The only interest we have is the security of Israel and its citizens," Saar said Monday. "That's why we attacked strategic weapons systems...Read more and see video here.

One Movie's Foreshadowing Reality

“People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.” 

 - a line from the movie “V for Vendetta.”

As we close out 2024 with new found hope for our beloved America, thanks of course to Donald J. Trump being elected as our nation's 47th president, I can't help but reflect back on certain key happenings under the Biden/Harris administration...happenings that caused great harm to our country and to “We the People” as well. Cleverly orchestrated and highly manipulative in nature, what unfolded “policy wise” these past four years seemed to be done so as to cause the most harm to as many Americans as possible.

Policies deliberately enacted to cause harm made me think back to a British movie called “V for Vendetta.” Released here in the U.S. on December 11, 2005, this movie...originally written as a graphic novel by Alan Moore and David Lloyd back in the 1980's...saw its main character “V” being somewhat based on Guy Fawkes and his failed “Gunpowder Plot” against the British monarchy. The main story line itself revolved around the aftermath of a “global nuclear catastrophe” that left much of the world uninhabitable and in chaos with its main character“V” hoping to serve as the conduit to get the people to “wake up” and take a stand against what had become unabashed “totalitarianism and authoritarianism”...sort of like the stand the American people took this past November 5th.

Simply, while the movie shows England having survived the aforementioned nuclear catastrophe, its now ruling powers took away from the people what were once their “freedoms” and replaced those “freedoms” with a “police state”...a fascist/Marxist style government if you will...a government replete with resettlement camps and the killing of all those they alone deemed to be undesirable. In fact, in their quest to do so, said powers manufactured a biological weapon to help fuel internal conflict and strife within the masses as the means by which they could justify what would be their upcoming “power grab,”...a “power grab” they claimed was done solely in the supposed best interest of the people. Sounds a bit too much like Dr. Fauci and crew now doesn't it...maybe it was this particular movie that gave them an idea or two.

And while, as expected, there were government resistors in England...resistors not unlike today's what many call “freedom fighters”...the movie's main focus remained on one rebel/vigilante known only as “V”...a man forced by dire circumstances to use “terrorist tactics” to fight back against those who demanded both absolute power and total unyielding control over the people. Sounds kind of like certain someones behind today's Democrat party scenes...can you say puppet master Barack Obama, his sidekick Nancy Pelosi, and their ever replenishing money bags George Soros...people who not only call the shots in today's Democrat party but who, along with their minions, remain laser-focused on destroying one man alone...one man as both their and what they believe to be America's public enemy #1 if you will. And who is that man but “America proud” Donald J. Trump...a now and forever thorn in the Democrats side just as “V” was to the fascists in power.

But, why exactly do I bring up this particular movie, and why now when other movies do broach a similar subject, and how exactly does this relate to the now “thankfully” almost over four years of hell our country has been going through courtesy of the Biden/Harris administration? Why...because what happened in England in this movie's violent plot line in what was deemed to be the near future actually was starting to happen here, in our own country, while President Trump was finishing up his then first term in office, albeit minus the drama of a post nuclear war background. 

Coming in the guise of what I call “veiled violence” as opposed to actual “physical violence,” I take this to mean it's when those in power willfully strip away “We the Peoples” rights and freedoms never mind that no blood is shed. How so? One needs only look to both the totalitarian and authoritarian policies of the Biden/Harris administration in regards to our southern border and the covid pandemic...policies directly in violation of not only our Constitution...for nowhere does the Constitution say that we must take in or give refuge to criminals, and nowhere does the Constitution give authority to start initiating what still seems to be a deliberate yet somewhat veiled “culling of the American herd.”

First, those entering our country illegally are indeed committing an overt “criminal action” simply courtesy of their very presence on American soil for they knowingly and willingly broke our “on the books” immigration laws in coming here...with the Biden/Harris administration not only allowing this to happen but encouraging and egging this action on. And whether they admit to it or not in Biden and Harris basically opening our southern border... opened our country...to a free-for-all invasion...we see a willing invasion that reeks of their “aiding and abetting the enemy”...an all encompassing “criminal element” type enemy...which constitutes treason of sorts if you ask me. In fact, the very act of putting criminal invaders wants and needs before the wants and needs of American citizens...the very act of willingly and knowingly putting American lives in danger...can be nothing less than treason what with Trump's first term “America First” policies now having been manipulated to morph into “America Last” policies...this is a crime in and of itself.

Now as for the covid pandemic...a pandemic and scare tactic all rolled into one neat little nasty package...a Democrat politically manufactured and propagandized pandemic that came replete with assorted greedy and willing government officials going along with a handful of corrupted doctors all in the name of money, power, and control...we see a pandemic not unlike the government manufactured bio-weapon in “V for Vendetta” with the only difference in our case being covid's victims were “We the People.” Simply, “We the People” became the recipients of not only a virus that actually needed an antidote and not a vaccine, but of forced mask mandates, lock downs, and a vaccine that is now proving to having possibly done way more harm than good. Just another example of the Biden/Harris administration seeming to parallel the fascist regime in the aforementioned movie.

Remember, like those in power in “V for Vendetta,” today's Democrats quest to hold onto the reigns of power by any and all means possible is all consuming, as they alone, once Trump left office, set the rules as to how we were to live our lives...our Constitutionally given freedoms be damned...just as they were for the Brits in “V for Vendetta.”

Thankfully not all of us complied.

Also,“V” himself being a masked operative was now the key jump off point for England's “freedom movement”...a movement to overthrow what had truly become an all-encompassing fascist regime...a movement that started slow and was only now gaining a bit of momentum. In a way “V's” fictional movement, along with “V” himself, was actually not unlike both Donald J. Trump the man and the MAGA movement he helped to create in what was the here and now. How so...both the fictional “V” and Donald Trump the man successfully rose up against the stacked against them political odds along with the propagandists and naysayers of their respective times, while the movements they started continued to grow. And while“V” lost his life fighting for the cause he believed in, thankfully Trump survived the assassination attempts on his life...and know there indeed was more than just one such attempt.

But the true bottom line in all that I've just said not only shadows the famous line “absolute power corrupts absolutely,” but also shows that while make-believe can sometimes be a mirror into reality, reality itself can either be manipulated to meet a political agenda or it can be the catalyst to open up an opportunity for change. In the case of the movie “V for Vendetta,” we will never know the final outcome of what the call for change did or did not bring, but in the case of both Donald J. Trump and our beloved America the call for change was sealed this past November 5th with our country now thankfully moving decidedly to the right.

Does this mean that we as a nation are now home scot-free, and that these past four horrendous years can now be forgotten? No, it most assuredly does not for to forget the bad does not erase what was but could actually negate and alter one's history...a very dangerous and far reaching scenario indeed. I kind of know what Donald Trump would say as he gets to live to see history unfold, leaving me to wonder what “V” himself would say if he had so lived. Case closed.
