...So yes, it's our individual “liberties, freedoms, and fundamental rights” afforded us by the Constitution that not only help to protect us “citizens” from what could be government overreach, but is what makes our nation great. And with our Constitutionally given right to “freedom of speech, religion, and assembly,” along with our right to “due process,” the cornerstone of who we are as both a nation and a people was laid, while at the same time helping to establish the framework of what is deemed to be America's “social and societal order.” And while no nation nor rule of law...including the historic “Magna Carta”...even comes close to “freedom” as defined in our Constitution...one of the greatest if not the greatest document ever written...our “Founders and Framers” were wise enough to design the Constitution as a testament to both “individual freedoms” and the collective rule of all important “secular”...not religious...law...Read entire article here.

In his first inaugural address, President George Washington referred to the having been set into place a ”republican model of government” as an “experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.”

And as we are now just a year away from said “experiment” reaching its 250th birthday...what is and of itself a true triumph in this ever changing and ever so volatile modern day world...it left me wondering not only why did we succeed as a nation but how we did so, especially when other nations with good intentions have failed. And I do not mean solely in the context of the individual freedoms our Constitution affords“We the People,” but in the larger context of how long will we remain as a nation when now coming into play is America's own special brand of “enemies within”...“enemies” hell bent on bringing our beloved America to her knees sometimes, but not always, minus the usual “shock and awe” tactics that have become the calling card of America's “enemies from without.”

But first know that America...that the United States...is far from the world's oldest nation as so many do mistakenly believe...as Egypt and China have us beat by literally thousands of years. And while both those nations have risen and fallen to yet rise again depending on the type of government in charge during any set period of time, we alone remain as we were founded, as in a “Constitutional Republic” even though misguided sorts erroneously call us and believe us to be a “democracy,” the very thing we are not...the very thing our “Founders and Framers” never wanted nor intended us to be. And while nations...while countries...seem to exist according to a generalized historical time frame regarding what is deemed to be the “organization” of said country...know that Egypt as a country was united around 3150 B.C.E. by King Narmer (the title “pharaoh” came later) and is historically accepted as the world's oldest country; while China was “organized” in 221 BCE with the establishment of the First Imperial Dynasty...making our great nation a “newbie” by comparison coming up on being but 250 years old or should I, in this case, say 250 years “young.”

Yet America...through wars both foreign and domestic...is still here as founded, while the two once great “cradles of civilization” have become but shadows of what was their once glorious past. In fact, today's Egypt is now mired down in authoritarian tactics and military rule, while at the same time claiming to be a Republic; while today's China remains a communist dictatorship. And calling China's Xi Jingping “president” does make a mockery not only of the position itself, but also of what is true presidential powers, responsibilities, and duties.

So as we approach America's 250 year birthday, I also wonder if our “Founders and Framers” ever envisioned that we, as a nation, would last as long as we have for they knew well that giving birth to a nation was far from an easy task as more times than not said birth is riddled with the blood of patriots lost. And while some, including our first president, George Washington, had serious doubts about the longevity of our nation as outlined, constructed, and set to paper in the single “codified” document known as the U.S. Constitution, Washington did hope that its principles and guiding words would endure and stand the test of time. 

And why so...simply because no rule of law then or to date...no other government then or to date...has dared to include the very benchmark words that are the founding principles of our free nation...principles like “separation of powers” along with “checks and balance,” thus ensuring that not only was our government “resilient” thanks to a strong national defense also being put into place, while also ensuring that the new nation now being forged was to be a “just and fair nation” where no one, not even the president, was above the rule of law.

And so it left me wondering, especially in relation to our nation's upcoming milestone birthday, exactly when and why did our Constitution start to become the “enemy” to some and but a burden to others...others trying to negate and change the very words laid down by our “Founders and Framers.” A “good cop, bad cop” scenario of sorts that really has no place in regards to our nation's highest rule of law for we must honor those laws as written, and not define them through personal interpretation of how we wished said laws had been written. Legally updating the Constitution via amendments is one thing, but trying to force personal interpretations on the sum of “We the People” is quite a destructive thing.

So here let me put partisan politics aside and briefly state the reasons why I personally believe the “United States of America” is not only the greatest nation the world has ever known, but remains the most free of nations as well. And let me begin by saying that no single nation has even come close to our collective overall economic successes, our military successes (WWI and WWII comes quickly to mind), and our technological successes (with the greatest success of all, to date, being that we are the only nation to have landed men on the moon and brought them safely back to Earth). Now couple that with the fact that ever since John Hancock put his pen to Constitutional paper we have been a role model to the world in regards to the importance of “individual liberties and freedoms”...rights critical in concept to what was then our emerging nation as they are to us today.

But why are “individual liberties and freedoms”...as in the laws put into place to protect citizens from government overreach...paramount above almost all else to the success of any given nation? It's simply because a nation's government and its leaders that respects the individual rights of its citizens not only helps to build unity, trust, stability, confidence, and a true sense of patriotism amongst its populace, but gains respect on the world stage as well.

And while our beloved America might not be perfect in some respects...after all perfection in its own right tends to be but individual supposition more times than not...we remain a leader in “liberties and freedoms” unparalleled in its success by any nation both past and present. And while some discontented sorts both here at home and abroad love to point out America's flaws, both past and present, the difference between the United States and other nations is that we have always shrived to correct our flaws not bend the will of the people to accept what are proven to be wrongs. Name another nation that has “consistently” since its inception corrected its wrongs without an ulterior motive behind their doing so...bet you cannot.

So yes, it's our individual “liberties, freedoms, and fundamental rights” afforded us by the Constitution that not only help to protect us “citizens” from what could be government overreach, but is what makes our nation great. And with our Constitutionally given right to “freedom of speech, religion, and assembly,” along with our right to “due process,” the cornerstone of who we are as both a nation and a people was laid, while at the same time helping to establish the framework of what is deemed to be America's “social and societal order.” And while no nation nor rule of law...including the historic “Magna Carta”...even comes close to “freedom” as defined in our Constitution...one of the greatest if not the greatest document ever written...our “Founders and Framers” were wise enough to design the Constitution as a testament to both “individual freedoms” and the collective rule of all important “secular”...not religious...law.

Remember, our “Founders and Framers,” many of whom were “deists,” including Thomas Jefferson who so wisely stated, "Erecting the 'wall of separation between church and state' is absolutely essential in a free society,” and George Washington who did state, “The United States of America should have a foundation free from the influence of clergy”....obviously never intended our Constitution nor our nation to be a thesis on theocratic based religious dogma and tenets. And this can be witnessed by the fact that nowhere in the Constitution is one religion favored over another nor did our “Founders and Framers” include the words “God, Jesus, or Christianity” anywhere within its text, thus becoming but supposition by some as to these men's intent. Chosen instead was the word “Creator” which left it up to ones individual and personal belief, or lack thereof, as to its intent or meaning.

Simply, our Constitution is not a religious document nor must it ever become one no matter how some try to meld it together with the “Holy Bible,” nor were its words ever intended to be used by future generations as a blueprint on how to undermine and subvert the will of “We the People” or our societal norms and stability. And yet today, that is exactly what we are seeing by those whom I deem to be our nation's true “enemies within.”And this includes activist judges who are deliberately undermining presidential authority; elected officials who put their partisan driven agendas above Constitutional law; as well as today's indoctrinated young people who are striving to socially re-engineer both our nation's long held societal norms and our founding principals, And the commonality these misguided folks share is the hope that what is their anti-American rhetoric becomes part of the liberal media's daily political discourse.

And so with our nation's 250th birthday still being just a year+ away, we must learn to accept, as fact, that nothing ever lasts forever, and that includes nations. And while the ancient nations of Egypt and China still do exist today they are not as they once were, for like too many others neither have taken to heart the old adage that one must “learn from history or be doomed to repeat it.” A nation's history, whether it be good or bad, does remain its history nevertheless, and to try and erase the bad will not now or ever erase what was. And with “We the People” only now starting to understand the possible challenges we might or might not have to face in either the near or not so distant future, one thing I do know is that Americans always welcome positive change for positives do tend to negate, or a least temper down, the negatives in most any given situation.

So while I, like so many others, look forward to celebrating America's “milestone” 250th birthday and all the “pomp and circumstances” that rightfully go with it, I do believe that our great nation will continue on no matter the obstacles thrown in her path for the simple fact is that America will survive because America must survive...both common sense and logic deems it so. And know that a mere 250 years is just the beginning of Thomas Jefferson's “experiment” in “self-government and individual liberty.” now having morphed into the one true beacon of freedom and exceptionalism that is the ever lasting hallmark of the “United States of America.” Case closed.

One Movie's Foreshadowing Reality

...But, why exactly do I bring up this particular movie, and why now when other movies do broach a similar subject, and how exactly does this relate to the now “thankfully” almost over four years of hell our country has been going through courtesy of the Biden/Harris administration? Why...because what happened in England in this movie's violent plot line in what was deemed to be the near future actually was starting to happen here, in our own country, while President Trump was finishing up his then first term in office, albeit minus the drama of a post nuclear war background. 

Coming in the guise of what I call “veiled violence” as opposed to actual “physical violence,” I take this to mean it's when those in power willfully strip away “We the Peoples” rights and freedoms never mind that no blood is shed. How so? One needs only look to both the totalitarian and authoritarian policies of the Biden/Harris administration in regards to our southern border and the covid pandemic...policies directly in violation of not only our Constitution...for nowhere does the Constitution say that we must take in or give refuge to criminals, and nowhere does the Constitution give authority to start initiating what still seems to be a deliberate yet somewhat veiled “culling of the American herd.” Read entire article here.

One Movie's Foreshadowing Reality

“People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.” 

 - a line from the movie “V for Vendetta.”

As we close out 2024 with new found hope for our beloved America, thanks of course to Donald J. Trump being elected as our nation's 47th president, I can't help but reflect back on certain key happenings under the Biden/Harris administration...happenings that caused great harm to our country and to “We the People” as well. Cleverly orchestrated and highly manipulative in nature, what unfolded “policy wise” these past four years seemed to be done so as to cause the most harm to as many Americans as possible.

Policies deliberately enacted to cause harm made me think back to a British movie called “V for Vendetta.” Released here in the U.S. on December 11, 2005, this movie...originally written as a graphic novel by Alan Moore and David Lloyd back in the 1980's...saw its main character “V” being somewhat based on Guy Fawkes and his failed “Gunpowder Plot” against the British monarchy. The main story line itself revolved around the aftermath of a “global nuclear catastrophe” that left much of the world uninhabitable and in chaos with its main character“V” hoping to serve as the conduit to get the people to “wake up” and take a stand against what had become unabashed “totalitarianism and authoritarianism”...sort of like the stand the American people took this past November 5th.

Simply, while the movie shows England having survived the aforementioned nuclear catastrophe, its now ruling powers took away from the people what were once their “freedoms” and replaced those “freedoms” with a “police state”...a fascist/Marxist style government if you will...a government replete with resettlement camps and the killing of all those they alone deemed to be undesirable. In fact, in their quest to do so, said powers manufactured a biological weapon to help fuel internal conflict and strife within the masses as the means by which they could justify what would be their upcoming “power grab,”...a “power grab” they claimed was done solely in the supposed best interest of the people. Sounds a bit too much like Dr. Fauci and crew now doesn't it...maybe it was this particular movie that gave them an idea or two.

And while, as expected, there were government resistors in England...resistors not unlike today's what many call “freedom fighters”...the movie's main focus remained on one rebel/vigilante known only as “V”...a man forced by dire circumstances to use “terrorist tactics” to fight back against those who demanded both absolute power and total unyielding control over the people. Sounds kind of like certain someones behind today's Democrat party scenes...can you say puppet master Barack Obama, his sidekick Nancy Pelosi, and their ever replenishing money bags George Soros...people who not only call the shots in today's Democrat party but who, along with their minions, remain laser-focused on destroying one man alone...one man as both their and what they believe to be America's public enemy #1 if you will. And who is that man but “America proud” Donald J. Trump...a now and forever thorn in the Democrats side just as “V” was to the fascists in power.

First, those entering our country illegally are indeed committing an overt “criminal action” simply courtesy of their very presence on American soil for they knowingly and willingly broke our “on the books” immigration laws in coming here...with the Biden/Harris administration not only allowing this to happen but encouraging and egging this action on. And whether they admit to it or not in Biden and Harris basically opening our southern border... opened our country...to a free-for-all invasion...we see a willing invasion that reeks of their “aiding and abetting the enemy”...an all encompassing “criminal element” type enemy...which constitutes treason of sorts if you ask me. In fact, the very act of putting criminal invaders wants and needs before the wants and needs of American citizens...the very act of willingly and knowingly putting American lives in danger...can be nothing less than treason what with Trump's first term “America First” policies now having been manipulated to morph into “America Last” policies...this is a crime in and of itself.

Now as for the covid pandemic...a pandemic and scare tactic all rolled into one neat little nasty package...a Democrat politically manufactured and propagandized pandemic that came replete with assorted greedy and willing government officials going along with a handful of corrupted doctors all in the name of money, power, and control...we see a pandemic not unlike the government manufactured bio-weapon in “V for Vendetta” with the only difference in our case being covid's victims were “We the People.” Simply, “We the People” became the recipients of not only a virus that actually needed an antidote and not a vaccine, but of forced mask mandates, lock downs, and a vaccine that is now proving to having possibly done way more harm than good. Just another example of the Biden/Harris administration seeming to parallel the fascist regime in the aforementioned movie.

Remember, like those in power in “V for Vendetta,” today's Democrats quest to hold onto the reigns of power by any and all means possible is all consuming, as they alone, once Trump left office, set the rules as to how we were to live our lives...our Constitutionally given freedoms be damned...just as they were for the Brits in “V for Vendetta.”

Thankfully not all of us complied.

Also,“V” himself being a masked operative was now the key jump off point for England's “freedom movement”...a movement to overthrow what had truly become an all-encompassing fascist regime...a movement that started slow and was only now gaining a bit of momentum. In a way “V's” fictional movement, along with “V” himself, was actually not unlike both Donald J. Trump the man and the MAGA movement he helped to create in what was the here and now. How so...both the fictional “V” and Donald Trump the man successfully rose up against the stacked against them political odds along with the propagandists and naysayers of their respective times, while the movements they started continued to grow. And while“V” lost his life fighting for the cause he believed in, thankfully Trump survived the assassination attempts on his life...and know there indeed was more than just one such attempt.

But the true bottom line in all that I've just said not only shadows the famous line “absolute power corrupts absolutely,” but also shows that while make-believe can sometimes be a mirror into reality, reality itself can either be manipulated to meet a political agenda or it can be the catalyst to open up an opportunity for change. In the case of the movie “V for Vendetta,” we will never know the final outcome of what the call for change did or did not bring, but in the case of both Donald J. Trump and our beloved America the call for change was sealed this past November 5th with our country now thankfully moving decidedly to the right.

Does this mean that we as a nation are now home scot-free, and that these past four horrendous years can now be forgotten? No, it most assuredly does not for to forget the bad does not erase what was but could actually negate and alter one's history...a very dangerous and far reaching scenario indeed. I kind of know what Donald Trump would say as he gets to live to see history unfold, leaving me to wonder what “V” himself would say if he had so lived. Case closed.

Manipulating Normalcy

George Orwell's “1984” nightmare has finally come to life, and it's courtesy of the nasty little gift from China replete with all the variants that have come and will continue to come along with it...seasonal variants perhaps, but variants nevertheless. And while the medical community is heralding the fact that we now have a number of vaccines available to help in the fight against the China virus, otherwise known as Covid-19, one is left wondering why and how was said vaccine able to be developed so quickly and then forced upon us within a little more than a year's time. Simple answer...we are the guinea pigs for both the vaccine's effectiveness and its safety...guinea pigs who hopefully won't be like the proverbial lambs led to the slaughter.

And some of us are also wondering why if this was done so expeditiously for the China virus why then don't we have a vaccine for major health woes like the common cold, HIV, and of course the worst ill of all...cancer. And while said vaccines supposedly have been worked on for decades...worked on with little to no real success...the truth is that to cure or event prevent such ills would not be advantageous to either the “powers that be” or to “big pharma's” all-important bottom line profits.

Simply, political skulduggery once again has won in the battle of right vs. wrong...political skulduggery that in the case of the China virus still equates to politically manipulated fear mongering helping to not only keep the masses in line but under ultimate partisan driven mind control...mind control based solely upon keeping us in a constant state of perpetual fear of what might or might not come next.

How so? When the China virus first hit our shores in small numbers, President Trump ever so wisely recommended shutting down our borders to those wanting to come here from highly infected countries. And Trump did so not in an attempt to stack his political deck for the then upcoming November election, but to protect we Americans from the ravages the China virus was causing throughout the world. But instead of being heralded as a champion of “We the People,” the Democrats accused President Trump of harboring racism against non-white folks as they saw this...their newest incarnation of the race card...as a means by which to turn what was and still is a true health crisis into a viable political weapon of sorts.

And not only did the Democrats have Dr. Anthony Fauci... the still head of NIAID (the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases) and a man who remains the chief medical advisor to the president...on their side, but they had and still have the media as well. And it was the media who helped morph what was a public health crisis into a major economic crisis...an economic crisis that has resulted in massive job losses...job losses reaching levels not seen since the Great Depression...job loses which in turn wiped out the across the board “jobs gained” numbers that were courtesy of President Trump's economic policies. And even today, more than a year and half after the China virus first appeared on our shores, it still has a negative affect on not only our still struggling economy but on all aspects of our American way of life.

Read that to mean the constitutionally given freedoms that, sadly, some of us have so cavalierly taken for granted...freedoms that we no longer can afford to take for granted.

How so? First, as more and more folks now happily see government monetary assistance as being easy money in their pockets...monies easier gotten than if one actually had to work for a living...we find many small businesses that are trying hard to make a comeback seeing no one applying for the new jobs now being created. And with many large and small businesses now still requiring the wearing of masks and the practicing of social distancing, what some are actually doing is sending a subliminal message that they would prefer for their employees to remotely work from home instead of working on site.

And with us now also seeing a distinction being made between what is essential and non-essential workers regarding what jobs should be created and/or filled first, this adds to the mix of what is and will remain a dismal jobs situation resulting in our economy basically being at a standstill.

Second, Biden and crew are continuing on in their efforts to instill enough fear in us so as to make us want to keep wearing those useless pieces of cloth and paper otherwise known as masks...masks most but not all of which seem to be made in China, ground zero for this entire Covid mess. And while said masks are clearly marked (albeit at times in very small print) “not for medical use” or similar words...both Biden and Fauci are so adamant in mask wearing...perhaps there's some monetary monkey business going on here...that our wearing masks in public just is not enough and now we need to wear them in our own homes as well...and wear them even if one has succumbed to the Democrats push to be “jabbed.”

Guess the “powers that be” will never admit that “the jab” isn't quite what they want us to believe it is...as in the end all and be all to Covid-19...nor will they ever admit that mask wearing is a visible sign that one has succumbed to government control.

And third and most importantly, as I previously stated we're still being forced to live in what amounts to be a cleverly and ever so maliciously crafted "perpetual state of fear." But it's not just fear of the virus itself (which in time will either burn itself out or morph into a more harmless version of its former self), but fear that our government is no longer even trying to hide the fact that they have willingly and quite uncaringly allowed themselves to run amok. And it's these very Democrat “powers that be” that have allowed Dr. Fauci's constant flip-flops to directly steer the continuing Covid discourse as they themselves direct the locational spread of the virus courtesy of Biden's allowing Covid infected illegals entry into our country.

And it's the sum of these three parts that affords both the media and the Democrat hierarchy the ways by which to manipulate what even they know is and always was a genetically engineered virus from China, and turn it into a powerful political tool. And its this very tool that allows them to not only control the race, gender, and social discourse in regards to everything Covid, but to have already successfully used said discourse to win...actually to steal...an election...while at the same time working to “fundamentally change” our beloved America in the process.

To “fundamentally change” all that we as Americans hold dear, and it's taking place here and now right before our very eyes as the Democrats care not a thing about either the immediate nor the long-term social, economic, and psychological affects this past year and a half has had on the majority of “We the People.” And it's sad, yet ever so truthful to say, that even the virus's after affects have now been bathed in racist rhetoric, because all we hear from the media and Democrat politicians alike is how this particular pandemic has overly affected so-called “vulnerable populations.”

But it's not “vulnerable” as in the elderly, the infirm, or those with preexisting conditions, but “vulnerable” as in people of color coupled with the forced down our throats rhetoric about systemic racial inequalities and how that has negatively affected the medical response to people of color during the pandemic. And this most assuredly is simply not true except in the minds of those whose agenda is driven by partisan politics alone.

So where does all this leave us in regards to our longing to return to some semblance of normalcy? In my opinion, it leaves us with but one option with said option requiring both common sense as the purveyor of truth as well as us joining together in one united voice to declare that “We the People” have had enough of Covid-19. In fact, we've had enough of all the politically driven faux science, the mask wearing and social distancing, the lockdowns, the trying to force upon us “jab” mandates, and any and everything even remotely sent to us courtesy of ever lying communist China.

In fact, we've had enough of not only China itself but the Biden administration's cow-towering to them, making excuses for them, and then covering up their actions, while at the same time trying to pin the entire Covad fiasco on President Donald J. Trump.

Simply, if the Democrats had not blocked the closing of our borders when Trump suggested we should, we would not be in the situation we are in today. If, since day one, Dr. Fauci had not lied to President Trump about both the virus' origin and its true potential to do harm to our country and to the American people, we would not be in the situation we find ourselves in today. And if medical professionals and research scientists who did not spew the party rhetoric demanded of them had not been forced by Biden aligned goons to rescind the truths they told, we would not be in the situation we are in today. And it's a situation that amounts to a third-world dictatorial style approach to a problem...an approach that favors politics and vote garnering over science and the health, safety, and welfare of “We the American People.”

And how do I know this...because the vaccines...even after millions of Americans have rolled up their sleeves to be “jabbed”...are still not fully FDA approved. And with there obviously being a reason for that...a reason not for public consumption...I really don't think I need to say anything more. Case closed.
