Last Monday, February 2nd, exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi issued a call for worldwide demonstrations to take place this upcoming Saturday, February 14th to show support for what he is calling Iran’s “Lion-and-Sun Revolution”...or as he also refers to it as a hoped for “Global Day of Action.” Pahlavi feels that a show of numbers...numbers hopefully in the millions...will help aid the Iranian people in their quest for freedom from the brutal and oppressive dictatorship that, unfortunately, is now still in power.
I truly believe Pahlavi is right in his quest, but will the world heed his call? That is soon to be seen what with “populist” street protests continuing on in unprecedented numbers, while at the same time worldwide sympathy has decidedly shifted in the Iranian peoples favor.
But why specifically did 65-year old Pahlavi issue this long awaited call for unity now? The most obvious answer is simply because it truly is time for the theocratic, mullah run dictatorship to be ousted from power so that freedom comes to the very country...the very people...who were the most westernized in the entirety of the Middle East...save for the Jewish State of Israel that is...before the 1979 Islamic Revolution that sent Iran hurling back to the sixth century.
Hurling back indeed...most especially in regards to Iranian women...once free women who now were being forced to relive the days when young girls not only saw their childhood stolen from them, but young girls being forced to marry old men; while women again became the “property of men”...men whose fanatical religious mindset re-encased them in what I do call the “identity stealing frock known as the burka garbage bag,”And this regression all happened while the world simply looked away, thus giving Iran's now dictatorial regime the time needed to outwardly became the world's leading sponsor of terrorism. And said terrorism came replete with a multitude of proxy armies willing to do Iran's terrorist bidding...for a price that is...a price consisting of not just monetary funding, but weapons, and “safe harbor” if need be for said proxies who also had agendas of the own.
But as we all do know, sometimes things can and will change for the better but only if certain circumstances start falling into place, which I believe is the case we are now seeing in regards to Iran. And the specific circumstances in this case came in the guise of a long awaited “populist movement”...a “movement” where the Iranian people themselves did choose to not only rise up against this brutally oppressive regime, but to give up their own lives “in the name of freedom” if need be. And this burning in ones heart in the quest for freedom is, in my opinion, the most powerful of tools the Iranian people can use in helping to light the peoples way out of 45+ years of mental and physically oppressive darkness.
And I do believe that Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi...the rightful heir to Iran’s “Peacock Throne”... not only knows this, but now has that burning fire within himself as well, and probably always has. And it's this inner fire that has allowed Pahlavi to become not just the most recognizable and most influential of all the Iranian opposition leaders fighting from abroad, but for him to also become the most recognized and trusted voice amongst the sum of Iran's opposition leaders who are working from within the country itself. And this alone can be witnessed by the words, “Javid shah”...as in “Long Live the King”...now being heard echoing in the streets of Iran.
And know those two words are not only being shouted by those within the “populist movement,” itself, but also by the previously mentioned burka encased women... by mothers...by women students...by women who know that both they and their children will truly have reached a dead end if things were to continue on as they are now... as in having no future...no dreams...no escape from the past. And it's this “populist movement”...a “movement” encompassing not just the young, but also those who remember Iran before the revolution...might well succeed whereas the street protests of 2009, 2019, and 2022 failed. Why so? With Iran's economy now in the throes of complete and total collapse the Iranian people themselves are being hit hard, while in protests past Iran's economy, while in trouble, did not actually collapse. And like with most people when their “pocketbooks” are hurting an opening for actual change presents itself where none really existed before.
So as all the pieces of this truly time sensitive puzzle are now starting to fall into place...fall into place for not just successful regime change, but for true and lasting freedom for the Iranian people as well...let our voices join with theirs as well.
Remember, timing is everything and everything happens in time. And with President Trump having also posted on Truth Social that, “the United States of America will come to their rescue,” and with our armada of battle ready warships and such sitting ever so close to the Iranian border, the Iranian people are heeding Pahlavi's call to action by continuing to protest and letting their voices be heard.
And now what's needed to help in their fight for freedom is, once again, for us...for freedom loving people everywhere...to let our voices come together on Saturday, February 14th, to let the Iranian people know...to let Reza Pahlavi and his fellow freedom fighters know...that America and the world stands united together in their just cause. Case closed.
