A lack of forensic evidence, and limited in scope ransom negotiations between the kidnapper and the Guthrie family should have immediately raised "red flags" for those investigating the Nancy Guthrie "kidnapping" case, but obviously did not. Also, why did the county sheriff allow an active crime scene to be contaminated by both family members and others. And lastly, why is evidence now being found in areas previously searched. These are but a few reasons why I believe the Guthrie "kidnapping" case is not what it seems to be on the surface nor what the media wants you to believe.
From day one I noticed this case garnering overwhelming media coverage while being ignored was the fact that from January through mid-February of this year there were over 30,000 U.S. children reported missing with 2,100 to 2,300 new names being added to the list daily. And yet NOT one word about them was being reported by the media, but I guess that's because their moms are not "TV personalities," the very thing that helps to pull in viewership, ratings, and hence lots of much needed advertising money. Simply, for most of the media...both TV and print media...the amount of news coverage a story is given is dictated by bottom line profits being more important than the public's need or right to know...a sad but seemingly truthful commentary indeed.
Also, I noticed key words Nancy's daughter Savannah...co-host of NBC's 'TODAY' show...said in her first broadcast video regarding her mother's disappearance...words regarding her 84-year old mom not being well, having high blood pressure, a pacemaker, serious cardiac issues, and that she needs medication daily. I know, as fact, that when one does not take their meds as prescribed, especially when it comes to heart medication, that the situation will not end well even though one's pacemaker may continue to send electrical signals to their doctor's office even after death...which could account for why so many still believe that Nancy Guthrie is alive.
Personally, I believe Nancy Guthrie is not alive, and that she most likely died on scene or soon thereafter, in what could well be but a botched home invasion/robbery attempt gone awry....an attempt where Guthrie tried to fight back against the invader, and in a scuffle with said person ...whether she knew said person or not...was either injured or accidentally killed, hence her blood found on scene. And then the need to get Nancy's body (the evidence) off scene morphed into a "kidnapping" scenario when her family could not reach her by phone, and she did not show up at church the next morning.
So after 2+-weeks of intense almost 24/7 media coverage, the now extended search area is still swarming with media sorts who continue to contaminate the crime scene, all while a conglomerate of Tuscon police, the county sheriff's department, and finally the FBI continue to investigate Nancy Guthrie's disappearance as a "kidnapping" case. In fact, three suspects just one to two miles away from the Guthrie home were recently questioned, but not arrested.
However, while cops have now started to fly over the Tucson desert with a high-tech Bluetooth signal detector in an attempt to locate a signal from Nancy Guthrie’s pacemaker, it's important to remember that pacemakers can and do send out signals even after the wearer is clinically dead...something all involved in the search should have known all along.
And with that said, it seems that the search for Nancy Guthrie is now finally transitioning into a "body recovery" effort, which it probably should have been after the first week. And as far as the questioning of the above stated suspects, logic alone dictates that whomever is involved in the home invasion would have high-tailed it out of the area long before now.
Simply, I did not buy into this "kidnapping" story from the get go, and I'm still not buying what the media continues trying to sell...are you my blog followers and/or newspaper readers...I'd be interested in knowing. Case closed.
