By now we're all familiar with the recent and justified deadly shooting by ICE agents of 37-year old armed protester Alex Pretti, and how the protest grew by hundreds almost immediately upon his death. Now turning into damaging and destructive riots in some areas of the city, these folks were egged on in their endeavors by their own Minnesota Governor Tim Walz who, during a press conference, told the protesters/rioters to film everything they see ICE agents doing on their cell phones so that it can be used against said agents in what are sure to come future prosecutions promised by their governor.
Simply, as per Tim Waltz, the ICE agents are the bad guys, the protesters/rioters are the good guys who have been tasked by their governor to garner the needed proof to not only rid the city of those who are federal agents just doing the job they were tasked to do, but to act as both their judge and ever biased jury while it's they themselves who are the actual law breakers, Governor Tim Waltz most assuredly included.
And
know that some of those involved are most surely bought and paid for
professional agitators who actually make a living by instigating and
causing trouble...and it's trouble fueled on by hate...hate for this country
and hate for those who love her...read those of us on the “political
right” here. And I surmise that, in regards to Minneapolis, that
this is where some of George Soro's “dirty money” might
well now come into play, while at the same time said money is likely
also being used on the campus of UCLA, where once again we see
Palestinian supporting, anti-Israel, antisemitic, pro-islamic
students organizing protest rallies calling for a “global
intifada.” And while UCLA now is its base point, the protest
organizers hope its message of violence and hate spreads outward
across all major U.S. college campuses and cities until the entirety
of these United States becomes basically at war with itself.
What a sad commentary indeed when right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right...when American citizens turn against not just their fellow citizens, but against those whose duty it is to protect “We the People” from harm. And in the case of Minneapolis...in the case of Minnesota itself...wrong has taken on an even more sinister meaning. How so...because when American citizens...when a governor is derelict in his sworn duty to protect both the Constitution and his state's citizens in favor of those who do not belong in this country in the first place...as in those who knowingly and willingly either broke our laws to get here or who chose to stay here passed their time allotted...we as a nation are facing some serious problems.
And those problems are compounded especially when those tasked with protecting us...as in the ICE agents sent to Minneapolis...not only become the enemy of the people though no fault of their own...which the leftist controlled media and talking heads must share part of the blame in...but whose hoped for physical demise becomes not just a cause for celebration, but is a goal some of the protesters outwardly strive for.
Remember, the protests in Minneapolis started in early January of this year when 2,000 federal agents from both ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement} and HSI (Homeland Security Investigation) were deployed to Minneapolis to conduct what was, as per the media, “the largest immigration operation ever”...an operation to find and arrest “undocumented immigrants”...rightfully known as“illegals”...specifically those with existing deportation orders and/or criminal records...a job said agents were legally tasked to do,
And this still ongoing operation started almost immediately after widespread fraud was discovered and publicly exposed...specifically fraud involving federal child care, nutrition, and pandemic aid programs within Minnesota's large Somali community ...a community overrun with immigration fraud...a community known for giving “sanctuary” to criminals and illegal aliens along with those who support them and their actions. And it's also a community not only represented in Congress by the openly America-hating, brother marrying, Ilhan Omar...but it's a community Governor Waltz and his people have long chosen to defend and cover for, probably for no other reason than to throw a blanket over their personal kick-back growing bank accounts....with federally tasked officers lives be damned.
And in an attempt to add fuel to these smoldering fires of hate...hate for America that is...Barack Hussein Obama, the man I believe to be the root cause of almost all the problems we as as a country face today, had to throw his two-cents into the mix saying that the fatal “lawless and cruel” shooting of 37-year old Alex Pretti is a “heartbreaking tragedy" and a "wake-up call to every American." And Obama said this while ignoring the fact that not only had Pretti had a previous altercation with ICE agents the week before, but that while Pretti did have a legally obtained license to carry a firearm, he came to the protest not only with his firearm fully loaded, but with two extra fully loaded magazines as well. For personal defense...no way...to take part in a massacre of ICE agents is the more likely scenario, in my opinion.
And while that alone is indeed a “wake-up call” in regards to what were Pretti's true intentions, I do believe that as per previous actions taken by Mr. “If I had a son...” Barack Obama, that he does not see Pretti of any of the protesters/rioters as having done anything wrong.
Why so...because Obama's own words say it all. Saying that he believes the ICE agents tactics used in Minneapolis were "designed to intimidate, harass, provoke and endanger residents,” I, on the other hand, see the ICE agents actions as rightfully being within the parameter of the law...“statutory law”... as in laws formally enacted by a federal or legislative body, and signed by either the president or a given state's governor...like the “Insurrection Act” of 1807...an act which thankfully is still on the books today.
I also believe that that the protesters current defiant, non-peaceful, and increasingly violent actions taken against the federally deployed ICE agents clearly do not meet the Constitutional definition regarding the right of citizens to “peacefully assemble,” and thus these folks should be legally deemed “domestic terrorists”...“terrorists” who should be locked up in jail cells awaiting trial for “insurrection,” along with their governor and Minneapolis' mayor, no matter their recent so-called “constructive” phone conversation with President Trump.
And why...because history has shown that incidents of violence do tend to increase when local government officials either egg said violence on or simply choose to ignore it, that is until a given situation gets so out of hand...as it is in Minneapolis as I write this...that said officials politically can no longer look away, especially when knowing that they truly did allow an “insurrection” against the federal government to take place.
So while the U.S. Constitution alludes to “insurrection” as being a physically violent revolt against governmental authority...with ICE agents having said authority...and while the aforementioned “Insurrection Act” (codified at 10 U.S.C. §§ 251-255) actually defines “insurrection” as being violence or obstruction that prevents law enforcement from doing the job(s) they were tasked to do...in this case ICE being denied the ability to round up those breaking our on the books immigration laws...it makes no sense that the “Insurrection Act” has not yet been invoked, especially when it would allow our military to legally intervene while helping to enforce what is federal authority.
And again, the “Insurrection Act” has yet to be invoked no matter the words spoken at last Thursday's press conference where “Border Czar” Tom Homan vowed to “stay in Minnesota” until “the problems gone,” adding that this administration is working on a "draw-down plan" to decrease the presence of federal agents in the state. How so...as per Homan...by staying focused on pursuing criminal illegal aliens in what will be targeted operations, while making it clear that “migrants” without a criminal record will also be subject to “apprehension and removal.” And why Tom Homan, of all people, did not call these folks what they really are, as in “illegal invaders”...criminals if you will...trying to garner yet another free ride at “we the taxpayers expense”...leads me to believe that,“Houston, we still do have a problem.”
And while I do understand the politics and emotions involved in a situation of this size and scope, along with the fact that the mere presence of federal ICE agents overtaking Minneapolis' streets has been controversial for some, we still see daily protests continuing to grow in number while becoming more violent in their intent. And while challenges from both Minnesota state and local leaders continue on unabated, for me the fact remains that I truly believe that President Trump should now invoke the “Insurrection Act,” and not try to simply bandage a problem that might only temporarily go away only to reappear in but yet another Democrat controlled state.
Minneapolis might be ground zero today, but can New York with Mamdani as mayor or even Los Angeles be far behind...the clock is ticking. Case closed.
