IBM became the latest company to announce its plans to invest in the U.S. during the Trump administration. 

On Monday, the tech firm unveiled a $150 billion investment plan in America over the next five years to “fuel the economy and to accelerate its role as the global leader in computing.”

At least $30 million will go toward research and development for American manufacturing of mainframe and quantum computers. 

IBM is one of the nation's largest technology employers and has ushered in innovations that include the data processing systems that enabled the U.S. social security system, the Apollo Program that put a man on the moon, and power businesses in every industry.

A Palo Alto teen who was hired by Google for an alleged PhD-level position after being rejected by 16 colleges is taking civil action against the University of California (UC) and other colleges for their admissions policies.

Stanley Zhong and his father, Nan Zhong, filed civil rights complaints in February and March, accusing the UC system, the University of Washington, the University of Michigan and Cornell University of engaging in "racially discriminatory admissions practices that disadvantage highly qualified Asian-American applicants."

Stanley, 19, is a self-taught programmer who was first recruited for a job at Google at just 13 years old. While still in high school, he launched a free e-signing startup that was featured by Amazon Web Services and qualified as a finalist in several coding competitions. Read more and see video here.

China is steadily expanding in the Bahamas through projects that blur economic development and geopolitical aims, an expert warned. 

"The People's Republic of China has been making diplomatic, economic and even military and quasi-military inroads into the Caribbean, South and Central America for the past couple of decades," retired Rear Adm. Peter Brown, former Homeland Security advisor to President Donald Trump, told Fox News Digital.

Brown pointed to the rise in dual-use infrastructure projects along the Bahamas coastline, which is located just 50 miles off the coast of Florida. 

"It doesn't take a lot of imagination for the People's Republic of China to use its commercial footprint in the Bahamas to monitor, exploit and perhaps even do worse to [the] U.S.," he said.

Let's cut to the chase and start by saying that as I write this article the Trump team is still negotiating with the Islamic Republic of Iran to try and temper down the current Middle East situation regarding both the Jewish State of Israel and the now displaced Palestinian people remaining in Gaza. And while that's a lofty and honorable deed to attempt, the fact remains that we...the United States of America... should not be negotiating with terrorists, neither singularly, collectively, or as a nation especially after seeing all the harm that Barack Obama caused with his infamous “5 for 1” Taliban terrorist exchange deal.

You remember said deal...or at least you should...for it's the deal where Obama ordered released from Gitmo five detained Taliban terrorists in exchange for the American traitor Beau Bergdahl...and know its ramifications do haunt us to this day for the five's release directly led to more American military members being killed or wounded.

Sad indeed, for the fact is that throughout our beloved America's 250 year history our presidents have held to the policy of not negotiating with known terrorists...that is until Barack Hussein Obama became president and started on his “Apology for America Tour.” And while most elected officials on both sides of the political aisle do tend to abide by this very sentiment, unfortunately some others do not especially when it comes time for a vote if need be. And why so...because as recent events have shown more times than not negotiations with terrorist nations and/or their respective “bad actors” usually have proven to be counterproductive to peace especially when it pertains to any sort of lasting Middle East peace.

And the “Jewish State of Israel” knows this better than most as all their efforts to secure a lasting peace with her, for the most part, still hostile Arab neighbors have failed to date, no matter that Israel and the PLO signed the “Oslo Accords” back in September 1993. And yet Israel has continued over these many years to strive for peace, and has done so the point where some Israeli prime ministers knowingly made a number of unwise “concessions” in the hope that peace could finally be achieved. Even Israel giving the so-called Palestinians the enclave known as “Gaza” failed for its population elected the Iranian funded terrorist organization known as Hamas as its governing body, which in a warped sort of way gave a misplaced semblance of legitimacy to what remains Iran's terrorist proxy army.

Simply, “concessions” of any kind does not and likely will not work when dealing with terrorists...only a brute force show of strength will. Remember, strength in today's world, unfortunately, does revolve around who does and who does not hold their finger on the nuclear button. And when it comes to terrorists of the “islamic kind”...terrorists like those who emanate from Iran, and whose leaders do deem their war with others to be but a “Holy War”...it now is of critical importance that we, both the United States of America and the Jewish State of Israel, start flexing our muscle through acts of physical strength while at the same time making it clear that it is we who are setting the rules as to what will or will not be accepted on the diplomatic front.

Iran does not want peace...it cannot be said more clearly or directly than that. What Iran wants... actually what Iran demands...is not only their possessing nuclear weapons, but Islam gaining world domination with all knees bent in allegiance and submission to allah, along with Israel being wiped from the face of the map. And how exactly do we know this... because the qur'an in its own words dictates it so.

First, one must not forget that “concessions”...especially during these volatile and most hostile of times... does for some...seem to easily equate to “appeasement” of ones enemy, with “appeasement” than morphing into what on the surface would be a show of “weakness,” the very thing that neither the United States nor Israel must ever show. Why so...because “weakness”...even on what is the diplomatic front...allows Iran the time needed to gain what is a critical upper hand in the always present “court of public opinion.” And second, to the mullahs in Iran an enemy's “weakness” is but the Islamic driven “fuel”...if you will...that's needed to help reignite the misplaced and misguided religious fervor that is dictated by the words in the qur'an. Simply, when ones religion becomes a given war's driving force there is no backing down allowed for the faithful, for if they do so said person risks whatever punishment allah, the mullahs, and the qur'an so deems.

But no matter my words stated, the reality is that the indoctrination of hate runs deep within those deemed islamists and/or jihadists...individuals who will do and say every and anything necessary to win the mullah's deemed “Holy War” against Israel and the West. And that includes using “taqiyya”... as in the art of “lying”...to justify their means...an art so finely tuned that “lying” itself has now become a constant within said followers what passes for their inner consciousnesses.

And for this reason alone Iran cannot now nor ever be trusted to abide by any rules or agreements made with those they deem to be “infidels”...especially agreements regarding their maintaining uranium enrichment and eventually securing nuclear weapons...two points of contention...“red lines” if you will...that Iran deems non-negotiable. And to fully understand why, one does need to read and digest the words of the qur'an itself...words deemed holy to Islam's followers...words deemed weapons of war to we nonbelievers. Benjamin Netanyahu knows this well as he will not negotiate one-on-one with Iran. However, President Trump, on some level, still believes that he can bring an end to the Israel v, Hamas war...the what in reality is the Israel v. Iran war...as well as bring peace to the Middle East, and do so via open-ended diplomacy albeit with all possible options remaining on the table.

But as long as Iran exists under the tyrannical rule of the mullahs...and I cannot say this enough...I strongly believe that Iran cannot be trusted on any level for the qur'an remains their guiding force with it's words clearly non-apologetic weapons of war. Lying, deceit, and deception under the guise of “taqiyya” is not only permitted but demanded of the faithful for the act of “taqiyya” is of fundamental importance to Islam itself. And this importance is not just in regards to today's political whelm, but with it also being an accepted means by which to push forward the words and teachings of Mohammad...Islam's deemed “most perfect human”...and to do so by any and all means possible.

And while the concept of “taqiyya” is more commonly known to we nonbelievers, “taqiyya” is not the only accepted option by which Iran's mullahs and Islam's followers can do what the qur'an so deems them to do.   In fact, there are seven other types of what's known as “deceptions” that come into play as in: “thiyal, Adab al jadal, dawah, kitman, tafsir, darura, and muruna”... meaning declaration, argument/debate, proselytizing, trickery, expounding, necessity, and resilience respectively. All are definitions being used to help push islam's domination on those not of the faith, and do so by force if and when need be.

And all I just stated must not be forgotten for the sham of peace talks now going on with Iran...talks President Trump must know to be but proverbial “window dressing” of sorts that must be allowed to play out on the world stage before it rightfully collapses no matter any “concessions” Iran might have made...with fingers crossed behind their backs of course... or might not have made, And yet Trump still believes that a new pact with what is the Islamic Republic of Iran would block Iran's path to a nuclear bomb. 

Simply, it will not for it's my opinion that Iran's taking part in these talks is but a deception used to buy the mullahs time to not only complete their nuclear ambitions...which I personally believe they have already succeeded in doing with their possibly already having at least one operational nuclear bomb in their possession....but to use said time to regroup, refund, and rearm their scattered around the world proxy armies in preparation for a new wave of even more deadly offenses against Israel and we in the West.

Remember, the qur'an itself dictates to its followers that they must not bow down to or even befriend one who is islam's enemy or even a nonbeliever for fear of facing allah's wrath, something I think even the mullahs would dare not do...something a peace deal or any deal brokered by President Trump would indeed do. Benjamin Netanyahu knows this...he's always known this...and that's why Israel is rightfully holding back to wait and see how this all plays out for a signature on paper is easily erased when the shadow of mohammad's will hangs over all those involved.

Stand strong President Trump...continue to stand strong Prime Minister Netanyahu...for the strength of the United States and Israel united together in the hope of securing Middle East peace is stronger than the will of the mullahs, and even stronger than the supposed will of allah himself. Case closed.

Pam Bondi Divulges the Disturbing Details on Two Judges Arrested for Protecting Illegal Immigrants  Jeff Charles / Townhall Tipsheet 

Attorney General Pam Bondi highlighted two cases in which federal authorities arrested two judges for allegedly trying to shield illegal immigrants from deportation.

The two cases occurred over the past few days in Wisconsin and New Mexico. During an appearance on Fox News' "America Reports," Bondi commented on Judge Joel Cano and his wife's arrest in New Mexico.

The couple is accused of harboring an illegal immigrant suspected of being a member of the Tren de Aragua street gang in their home.

Cano is facing obstruction charges, Bondi explained. “He took one of the TdA members’ cell phones himself, took it, beat it with a hammer, destroyed it, and then walked the pieces to a city dumpster to dispose of it to protect him.”

President Trump blasted Vladimir Putin on Thursday and urged the Russian president to “STOP!” after Moscow launched its deadliest attack on Ukraine in almost a year overnight.

President Trump blasted Vladimir Putin on Thursday and urged the Russian president to “STOP!” after Moscow launched its deadliest attack on Ukraine in almost a year overnight.

“I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV,” Trump raged in a Truth Social post.

“Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!”

His rare criticism of Putin came soon after Russia struck Kyiv with an hours-long barrage of missiles and drones — killing at least nine and wounding more than 70.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky branded the attack, which is the deadliest there since last July, as “one of the most outrageous.”

He also pointed out that Russia has continued to rebuke Trump’s cease-fire proposal for a month and a half. 

“This was a proposal from the United States,” he said. “And it has been 44 days of Russia continuing to kill our people and evading tough pressure and accountability for its actions.” Read more, see videos and maps here.

'The Data Doesn't Look Good': Makary Explains Concerns About Petroleum-Based Food Dyes

Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary spoke with CNN about why the administration is moving to remove artificial dyes from the food supply, noting the research on petroleum-based coloring “doesn’t look good.”

“I don't think we appreciated the potential risks to human health and child health when they were first introduced,” he told host Dana Bash when she asked why they're in the food supply and medication in the first place. 

"Yellow Dye No. 5, for example, was noted to be a bright vibrant yellow color as the byproduct of coal tar in the coal ash, and then people decided to put it in fabric and then they thought well we can put it in food," he continued. 

“The studies have caught up with the introduction of these petroleum-based chemical food dyes and the data doesn't look good,” he continued...Read more, see Xs and videos here.

President Trump Exploded on Zelensky

President Donald Trump on Wednesday slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after he rejected a US proposal that would recognize Russian control of Crimea as part of a peace deal.

This comes as Washington continues its efforts to hammer out a peace agreement between Moscow and Kyiv. During a press conference, Zelensky said, “Ukraine will not legally recognize the occupation of Crimea” and that “There’s nothing to talk about here. This is against our constitution.”

The Wall Street Journal noted that Zelensky’s statements could throw the Trump administration’s peace plans into disarray.

Gorsuch, Roberts side with left-leaning Supreme Court justices in immigration ruling

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday sided with left-leaning justices in an immigration appeals case, a narrow ruling that could portend the court's future thinking amid a flurry of legal cases centered on immigration.

The 5-4 ruling in Monsalvo Velazquez v. Bondi centered on the government's interpretation of a 60-day "voluntary departure" deadline, which authorities can use to allow certain immigrants deemed to be of "good moral character" to depart the U.S. on their own terms within that timeframe.

The Supreme Court ruled, with the backing of Roberts and Gorsuch, that any voluntary departure deadlines for immigrants under the 60-day departure time frame that fall on a weekend or on a legal holiday in the U.S. should be extended to the next business day. 

Writing for the majority, Gorsuch noted that this interpretation of the 60-day period aligns with long-standing administrative practices, including in immigration law.

President Trump’s education boss Linda McMahon has defended the administration’s decision to resume student loan debt collections — insisting that greedy colleges have “profited massively” from Biden-era forgiveness measures.

The Department of Education announced Monday it would start recouping federal student repayments again from May 5 from the roughly 5.3 million borrowers who are currently in default on their loans.

In a fiery Wall Street Journal op-ed addressing the move, the education secretary blamed the Biden administration and universities for making “empty promises to students while pocketing their loan dollars.”

“Colleges and universities call themselves nonprofits, but for years they have profited massively off the federal subsidy of loans, hiking tuition and piling up multibillion-dollar endowments while students graduate six figures in the red,” McMahon wrote. Read more here.

'Drill, Baby, Drill!' New Project Announced in the Gulf of America

Energy giant Chevron, in partnership with TotalEnergies, are wasting no time taking advantage of President Donald Trump's promotion of the oil and gas industry less than 100 days into the new administration. 

"TotalEnergies announces the start of production from the deepwater Ballymore field offshore U.S., in which the Company has a 40% interest alongside operator Chevron (60%)," TotalEnergies released Monday. 

Production will take place in the Gulf of America.  

"Located 120 kilometers off the Louisiana coast and launched in May 2022, Ballymore has a total daily gross production capacity of 75,000 barrels of oil per day and 50 million cubic feet of gas per day tied back to the Chevron operated Blind Faith floating production unit. At plateau, Ballymore will represent close to 30,000 boe/d net of cash-accretive production for TotalEnergies. The project utilizes existing infrastructure as well as standardized equipment to ensure lower development costs and lower emission intensity," the company explained.

Four More Democrats Travel to El Salvador to Champion Deported MS-13 Gang Member

In a move that perfectly captures the Democratic Party’s warped priorities, more left-wing lawmakers are traveling to El Salvador to advocate for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a deported illegal immigrant with alleged ties to MS-13, a history of domestic abuse accusations, and suspected involvement in human trafficking. Instead of standing with law-abiding American citizens, these Democrats are going out of their way to defend a criminal alien, proving once again that protecting the border and enforcing immigration laws are the last things on their agenda.

In addition to Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) traveling to El Salvador to advocate for Abrego Garcia, four more Democratic lawmakers have followed suit. Reps. Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ), Maxine Dexter (D-OR), Maxwell Frost (D-FL), and Robert Garcia (D-CA) arrived in the country on Sunday to assess the deported illegal immigrant’s condition.

Abrego Garcia was living in the United States for more than a decade before the Trump administration deported him— a move that Democrats and liberal media say was a “mistake” despite being an illegal immigrant.

What Hamas Really Hoped to Achieve

“There is no discussion of Barghouti being released,”

 - An undisclosed Israeli senior official's response to media reports regarding Marwan Barghouti being part of the Israel/ Hamas hostage exchange deal.

Marwan Barghouti...a name few have heard of, is the name of the man that every Israeli administration, to date, has refused to release in any prisoner exchanges done in the past and hopefully will not consider doing now. However, even with that said, I believe Marwan Barghouti holds the key not only to Hamas' releasing all the remaining Israeli hostages held...if any are still alive that is...but is the man who holds not only Gaza's possible future in his hands, but who might actually be the underlining reason for Hamas' October 7th attack on Israel.

In other words, securing Barghoti's release might have been Hamas' “Black Saturday” goal all along with their atrocities committed being but the means, they believed, that would have helped to secure his release out of fear that more such attacks would soon follow.

And why do I believe this...because recent musings out of the Middle East show Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, and the UAE wanting Barghouti to be the man to lead what would be their “joint control” of Gaza where Hamas would be allowed to survive intact...possibly tempered down a bit...but would still be operational enough to do their and Iran's anti-Israel bidding. And don't think for a minute that the countries I stated...whether or not they signed onto the “Abraham Accords”...are Israel's true friend for Arab loyalties, for some, do go much deeper then their wanting peace with Israel.

Simply, I believe that Marwan Barghouti is the one prisoner Hamas wanted returned all along, and that Benjamin Netanyahu surmised this as well for he knows the power Barghouti held and still holds now even while he remains in an Israeli high security prison. Remember, none of the prisoners Netanyahu released in what was a totally lopsided... numbers wise...hostage exchange deal remains as important to Hamas as this man is. 

And also know that once imprisoned and with decades now having past, most folks have forgotten Barghouti's importance as a key player not only within the Palestinian Authority...he was a former senior Fatah official and the leading candidate to succeed Mahmoud Abbas as chairman of said Palestinian Authority...but was and remains even from prison a vocal advocate for a “two-state solution” by any means possible. And why...because Barghouti and his followers still see a “two-state solution” being perceived on the world stage as a defeat for Israel and a win for Iran, her proxy army Hamas, and the Palestinian people as well.

A “two-state solution” on what would be terrorist mastermind Barghouti's terms would be but yet another bloodied knife dug into the back of the “Little Satan” Israel, while at the same time humiliating, mocking, and shaming the “Big Satan,” as in the United States.

Now think of it this way, the multitudes of low-level Palestinian criminals who were being exchanged for a few Israelis were but a “divert and defect” operation by Hamas to try and “hide,” if they could, Barghouti within the ranks of the hostages being exchanged, a clever but thankfully failed ploy. Why so...because Marwan Barghouti's release and his becoming the leader in Gaza...that is if Trump's plan was not implemented and the four aforementioned Arab nations plan was...probably would see the dynamics of the Middle East change and not in a way as to secure Israel's survival as the “Jewish State, but in a way to secure her being wiped off the face of the map.

Marwan Barghouthi is indeed a “bad guy,” captured by Israel in Ramallah on April 15, 2002 during the “Second Intifada.” Tried, convicted, and imprisoned with five consecutive life sentences adjudicated for his involvement in a number of deadly attacks...attacks which resulted in the murders of a number of Israelis along with a Catholic priest...saw Barghouti's following amongst his fellow Palestinians, his fellow prisoners, and Israel's enemies growing, thus making him more dangerous now than he was before said imprisonment. A cult hero of sorts to the anti-Israel/anti-Semitic crowd, Marwan Barghouti is known to some as “Palestine's Mandela,” which is a far cry from the truth.

“Leave us Hamas, we want to live freely,” so said a crowd recently demonstrating in Eastern Gaza City, while a similar protest took place just over five miles away in Beit Lahia.

So as more protests against Hamas are starting to take hold in what remains of Gaza...protests led by those calling themselves Gazans as opposed to just being seen as Palestinians...these brave people have made it clear that they are tired of Hamas' seemingly never ending war with Israel, and now want Hamas to leave Gaza. Simply, these voices once silenced now speak loudly and rightfully blame Hamas for failing to bring an end to the war, and the last thing these people need or want now is the shadow influence of a man like Marwan Barghouti to become yet another obstacle to their much wanted peace.

Israel must never release Marwan Barghouti no matter Hamas' promises made or Iran's threats delivered for this one man, who is capable even from prison of stirring the misguided pot of Palestinian discontentment, could well be the lynch pin for seeing the Israel v. Hamas war escalating into a more regional conflict and spreading outward from there. His hatred of Israel and the Jewish people is probably on par with that of Iran which frankly does say it all, for while Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to save a nation, folks like Marwan Barghouti and his supporters are trying to destroy her...one Israeli at a time if need be. Case closed.

Announcement About COVID-19 Origins

The White House on Friday updated its website to declare that COVID-19 resulted from a lab leak in China, conf"irming a theory many had about the origins of the coronavirus.

 The website includes a guide detailing how the pandemic truly began, countering the earlier narrative that it emerged from an outdoor market and from people eating bats.

The White House claims, “’The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2’ publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak theory — was prompted by Dr. Fauci to push the preferred narrative that COVID-19 originated naturally.”

The page contains various facts about how the coronavirus came to be. “The virus possess a biological characteristic that is not found in nature,” the White House states. “Data shows that all COVID-19 cases stem from a single introduction into humans. This runs contrary to previous pandemics where there were multiple spillover events.” Read more here.

US will abandon Ukraine peace efforts if no progress made soon, Rubio says

President Donald Trump will walk away from trying to broker a Russia-Ukraine peace deal within days unless there are clear signs that a deal can be done, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Friday.

“We’re not going to continue with this endeavour for weeks and months on end. So we need to determine very quickly now, and I’m talking about a matter of days whether or not this is doable in the next few weeks,” Rubio said in Paris after meeting European and Ukrainian leaders.

“The president feels very strongly about that. He has dedicated a lot of time and energy to this … this is important, but there are a lot of other really important things going on that deserves just as much, if not more attention.”

Rubio’s warning came amid signs of some progress in US talks with Ukraine.

Trump said on Thursday he expected to sign a deal with Kyiv next week that would give the US access to Ukraine’s minerals.

National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday exposed the Biden administration’s plan to potentially violate people’s rights under the guise of preventing domestic terrorism. 

Gabbard, in a post on X, announced that she had declassified a document containing the Biden-era “Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism.”

On the surface, the plan appears aimed at protecting public safety by preventing the radicalization of potential domestic terrorists while ensuring they are not able to carry out violent attacks.

The document lays out a comprehensive interagency framework for identifying, preventing, and disrupting potential threats coming from domestic violent extremists. It was meant to provide a roadmap for federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies to collaborate to address immediate threats while dealing with the root causes of domestic terrorism. Harvard Just Got Slapped With Another Civil Rights Investigation

Shortly after being stripped of federal taxpayer funding by the Trump administration, Harvard just handed itself another headache. This time, from the House Oversight Committee. 

Less than 24 hours after the IRS moved to strip Harvard of its tax exempt status for a series of civil rights violations and refusal to carry out disciplinary actions for those engaged in pro-terrorism activity on campus, Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik announced an investigation into the elite institution.

Dem Senator's Trip to El Salvador to Help Bust Out Deported Illegal Was a Disaster

So, who is going to reimburse taxpayers for this absolute waste of a trip congressional Democrats took to El Salvador to bust out a deported illegal alien who is likely an MS-13 member? Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), who cared nothing for Rachel Morin, a mother who was raped and murdered by an illegal alien, decided he just had to fly down there to get Abrego Garcia out of jail. 

 

Did anyone think this was going to be a successful trip? President Nayib Bukele already said he wasn’t releasing Garcia. And now, this epic waste of resources for nothing. The senator couldn't even get a phone call arranged (via Axios):

California sues to block Trump's 'illegal' tariffs

California filed a lawsuit on Wednesday seeking to block President Donald Trump from enacting his tariff plans, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced.

Newsom and state Attorney General Rob Bonta filed the lawsuit in federal court on Wednesday morning. It argues that Trump overstepped his authority by imposing tariffs without congressional approval, and calls on the court to declare Trump's tariffs void and block their implementation.

"The uncertainty is pronounced, and it is profound in the state of California," Newsom said at a Wednesday press conference. "The impacts of these tariffs disproportionately impact the state of California."

"It's not just the coast and technology," he added. "No state is poised to lose more than the state of California. So that's why we're standing up." Read more and see videos here.
