Captured in secret...lied about in public

Giving Obama a perfect narrative to once again sing his own praises, a new divert and deflect attention grabber has appeared as America's very own traitor-in-chief announced yesterday for all the world to hear that U.S. Special Operations forces captured Ansar al-Sharia commander Ahmed Abu Khattala...one of the supposed ringleaders of the attacks at Benghazi. Captured in a 'secret raid' in Libya over the weekend...on Obama's so claimed Friday go-ahead... what I want to know is why did he did NOT arrest himself and Hillary 'What Does It Matter' Clinton instead as they are the ones truly responsible for Benghazi...period.

So as Iraq falls to ISIS because of his...YES his...aiding and abetting the enemy... as Lois Lerner's e-mails have gone 'poof' into thin air...as the VA screws our vets while GITMO pieces of garbage and ILLEGALS get better medical care than they do...as our southern border is being overrun...Obama has 'suddenly' 642 days later...when his poll numbers are in the toilet...pulled a 'Hail Mary' pass and captures someone half a world away without a shot being fired and without so much as a struggle. And he did so while off playing golf, doing fundraisers, and bloviating about non-existent climate change at an ubber liberal southern California college.

And ain't he just so special to be able to all this yet he still can't get the ObamaCare website fully operational...which might actually be a good thing when you think about it.

So the man who claims he took out Osama bin-Laden...remember it was all about him as he gave little credit to the Navy SEALS...now claims his orders facilitated the capture of Ahmed Abu Khattala. Ahmed Abu Khattala, the very man who sipped lattes right after Benghazi telling the FBI that it wasn't safe to investigate...the very man who lived free in plain sight all these years and even talked to reporters...was captured just south of Benghazi on Sunday.

“He is now being transported back to the United States,” Obama spewed in his 'it's all about me' photo-op appearance before the cameras at TechShop in Pittsburgh, PA. And while he might be coming back to the U.S. now, what I want to know is how long Khattala has really been in custody waiting for just the right moment to do the 'sinking in the polls' Obama the most good...how long has this so-called just captured scenario been cooked up for if truth be told this is the mother of all divert and deflect tactics saved for the very moment when Trey Gowdy's Benghazi hearings are due to start...saved for the very moment when criticism is reaching a crescendo against Obama for his lack of action and lies about all things Benghazi.

And what a perfect diversion to take the pressure off Hillary's involvement as she sets-up what many believe will be is her 2016 presidential run.

With it taking a three-count criminal complaint...a complaint filed last year in U.S. District Court in Washington, DC...against Khattala and at least a dozen other terrorists...YES terrorists...in connection with the attack at Benghazi...it must be remembered that this is a complaint NOT an indictment or the paper work needed to actually charge him. Filed by the FBI to justify the capture of the very man who's been on the government's list of 'highly wanted targets' for years...that man will be charged in a U.S. criminal court with “killing a person in the course of an attack on a federal facility involving use of a firearm,” on Sept. 11-12, 2012, providing and conspiring to “provide material support to terrorists resulting in a death” and possessing and using a firearm during a crime of violence.

And if convicted on the felony charges of murder alone, Khattala could be given the death penalty or life imprisonment, but with this being the U.S. where terrorists are read Miranda Rights and treated with kid gloves, you just know Khattala will be 'lawyered-up' to the hilt making this criminal complaint just another 'dog and pony' show that might play well for the cameras but will probably amount to a slap on the wrist...after all he is one of the 'anointed one's' brethren you know.

So should Khattala be tried by the military as some want...me included...and could he end up where we usually hold al-Qaida militants as in the GITMO Country Club...complete with 3-squares a day...computer and TV access...soccer fields... better medical care than our veterans get...along with other creature comforts he most likely NEVER had back in the Libyian cesspool he came from. And while I'd love to see him in GITMO complete with a daily dose of waterboarding...I seriously doubt he will be on either account as the Obama loyal FBI knowingly filed criminal instead of terrorist charges to make sure it stayed in civilian court...where the case could languish and be stalled for years to allow Obama time to crow about this up through and beyond the November mid-term elections.

And so Kattala will be gently handled and his rights protected while Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty remain dead...while Barack HUSSEIN Obama gets away with (I believe) murder yet again. And instead of American jurisprudence following China's lead when it come to terrorists...as in over the weekend China executed in a timely manner 13 people with muslim connections who were indicted and convicted of terrorism...the 'supposed' rights of a terrorist will trump doing what we all know needs to be done. And Ahmed Abu Khattala will be given a prayer rug and a qur'an, will be kept well-fed, and will be allowed access to the internet and TV...and it will be all on our taxpayer dime.

And that my friends is one sorry state of affairs.

August 6, 2011...American heroes betrayed

This past Saturday I had the honor of attending a luncheon event put on by the Tea Party of Fort Lauderdale, the nation's oldest continuously running Tea Party.  The featured speakers were Karen and Billy Vaughn whose Navy SEAL son Aaron was killed in the take down of what has now been referred to as call sign Extortion 17.  Extortion 17...the events surrounding the almost 50 year old CH-47D Chinook cargo helicopter that was NEVER intended for troop transport or for Special Operations missions...the helicopter shot down in Afghanistan's Wardak province killing all 38 people on board (30 Americans and 8 Afghan Nationals) including 17 members of Navy SEAL Team 6, five SEAL team support members including one service dog, three Air Force members, and five US Army and National Guard flight crew members.

17 members of SEAL Team 6...the most elite fighting force the world has ever known...the same unit that took out Osama bin-Laden...lost that day in what was the single most deadly day for the US Navy since the war began.

Shot down by the Taliban...something Barack HUSSEIN Obama still has trouble admitting...shot down with seven of the eight Afghans on board (one was an Afghan translator scheduled to be on the flight) substituted at the last minute for the original group that was on the flight manifest.  Perhaps shot down to silence SEAL 6 Team...perhaps shot down as revenge for the killing of Osama bin-Laden (in fact on May 6, 2011 just three short months before the helicopter was downed the Taliban did publicly vow revenge for bin-Laden's killing)...or NOT shot down but actually the victim of a suicide bombing committed by one of the seven who was NOT supposed to be on board.

Rumors abound...supposition and innuendos spoken of by people NOT in the know...by people who did NOT lose their loved ones in that crash like the Vaughn's did...'truths' that must be told to those like Aaron's parents who have unwaveringly searched for answers as to the whys...who have searched for and demanded the truth from this deceitful administration ever since they found out that their beloved son was on that helicopter...and the picture they are unraveling is NOT a pretty one.

The why is that the Afghan theater has now become a fiasco...a fiasco that turned a war we were once winning into a killing field with our troops the victims...the war that went sour when Barack HUSSEIN Obama allowed politicians to run the war instead of listening to the generals on the ground.  Four times between 2009 and 2011 Obama rejected the generals recommended advice concerning the Afghan theater...including announcing the dates for our troop's withdrawal...and in 2011 things started to seriously sour.

Now add in the 'altering' of the Uniformed Military Code of Justice...a code that comes right out of the Articles of War...a serious move on Obama's part to 'redo,' if you will, our military...including having women fight alongside men on a daily basis...done to appease the enemy...done to be 'politically correct...to win, as Obama likes to say, 'the hearts and minds of the enemy.'  But truth be told this president has our troops actually fighting under the banner of  'politically correctness' instead of fighting a war to win as our troops were trained to do.  This president does NOT want 'collateral damage'...does NOT want his brethren killed...forgetting or just ignoring the fact that it's the very 'collateral damage' he does NOT want that forces the enemy...any enemy...to lay down its weapons and surrender.

And the simple fact that standard tactics, techniques, and procedures were NOT followed that fateful day (such as NO pre-assault fire was allowed as the chopper came in to land)...just like they were NOT followed in Benghazi one year later...makes these deaths...this "reckless loss of life" as Billy Vaughn so rightfully puts it...ever the more so tragic for accountability for their deaths is being held hostage by those in power who hold the threat of prosecution over any and all who question their watered down accounting of that day's horrific events...who question the now 'politically correct' Rules of Engagement...rules that make the successful carrying out of a command mission almost impossible.

And then there's the added heartache inflicted upon the families of those lost that's almost too unbearable to write yet alone believe...for the bodies...the remains...of those heroes lost were damned to hell by a muslim imam when they were being readied for their last journey home...a last journey home where eight of the coffins were draped in the enemy's flag...an act of vileness like NO other...for it was this administration who allowed that imam to spew his evil words...it was this administration who allowed the eight coffins to be draped in the enemy's colors...it was this administration who could have simply said NO...but did NOT.

Is the Obama administration so hateful of our military as to deliberately and with malice be willing to spit in the face of plain common decency just for their own fame...just for their own egos...just for their own selfish political gain.  It's NOT just a strong possibility but is the harsh reality of a group of men...especially of Barack HUSSEIN Obama...who can sink so low as to use the return home of the remains of those lost as a photo-op for themselves when the families specifically asked that photos NOT be taken so they could cry...so they could grieve...in private as the bodies of their loved ones were returned to the country they gave their lives for. 

And could misspeaks...whether deliberate or NOT...by those in this administration been the precursor to these deaths...it is a strong possibility for to be the success that they are the Navy SEALS work in secrecy...to stay under the radar so to speak so they can do what we dare NOT speak about.  And now in the months leading up to August 6, 2011, they were outed...NOT only to the American public but to the enemy as well.  Could the fact that on more than one occasion Vice-President Joe Biden named SEAL Team 6 as the ones who took out bin-Laden...could that have set the wheels in motion for SEAL Team 6's demise...it is a strong possibility.  Could former CIA Director Leon Penneta' s revealing the name of the SEAL Team unit and its leader to screen writer Mark Boal at a 2011 awards ceremony have led to the events of August 6th...it's a strong possibility.  Could the access to documents and supposedly classified information Obama gave to director Kathryn Bigelow for her movie about Bin-Laden's take down have contributed to the killings...it's a strong possibility. 

And worse...could our military hierarchy (NOT the rank and file) actually be complicit NOT in the killings of course but in the cover-up of truths so grievous as to compromise our national security... more questions that remain unanswered.

And so the Vaughn's quest for those answers began but their questions were and still are many...too many for me to expound upon in a mere op-ed...too many for me to risk a misspeak that could cause this family any more pain than they're already feeling. Billy Vaughn's book 'BETRAYED: The Shocking True Story of Extortion 17 as told by a Navy SEAL's Father' can explain his and his family's journey for the truth so much better than I ever could...I recommend you get a copy and learn the sad truth of the pain this administration has inflicted upon one American family...times thousands.

And so tears fall NOT just for the Vaughns and for Aaron, but for all those lost that fateful day...for all those lost under Barack HUSSEIN Obama's watch due to his ineptitude and reckless unconcern for those who put their lives on the line daily...for those who fight to defend America as they keep us safe and free at home.  Mistakes, cover-ups, and LIES...the hallmark of an administration run amok is especially disturbing...especially shameful when it comes to our military for this president...this miserable excuse of a Commander-in-Chief...forces our military to fight with weapons NOT poised and ready for battle but with weapons put aside so as NOT to hurt the very ones out to kill us all. 

So as the elusive answers to the questions asked of what really happened on August 6, 2011 still remain untold...it's now up to us to demand those answers and to...as Billy Vaughn says..."defend the defenders" of our freedoms...for if we patriots do NOT do it who will.

Screwing America yet again

In the Rose Garden yesterday, sans a Marine holding an umbrella over his narcissistic self, Barack HUSSEIN Obama happily slapped Republicans in the face by naming Susan ‘It was a YouTube video’ Rice to the influential foreign policy position of National Security Advisor, replacing the retiring Tom Donilon, the man many suspect of being the source of the leaks coming from the White House.

And meeting the number one qualification for the post of Obama’s National Security Advisor being the ability to bold-face lie to the American people without even cracking a smile, Susan Rice smugly accepted this powerful position that does NOT require Senate confirmation…a confirmation she most likely would NEVER get.

And why…because for one, Susan Rice was the very person who willingly went on the Sunday talk show circuit after the attack and knowingly spewed out the Obama rhetoric and lies that the attack was triggered by spontaneous protests over an anti-islam video..something we know and always knew was NEVER the case. And for that lack of judgment in agreeing to participate in what turned into a three-ring circus, Susan Rice should have been disqualified for any governmental position of power…and she would have been if we had an honorable president as steward of our country instead of who we have.

And to make this worse, Susan Rice as our National Security policy maker is quite laughable for this woman is a walking international disaster. Besides her involvement in the lies that are the hallmark of the Benghazi cover-up, Rice’s tenure as U(seless) N(ations) Ambassador has been questionable at best as she has been publicly criticized for NOT showing up for work, including at times when she was needed for critical votes and debates. Rice also led this country’s involvement in the disastrous joke of a Human Rights Council, as they continue to butt into sovereign countries affairs every chance they get…case in point being the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, of which they of course side with the non-existent Palestinian people over Israel.

So this is the woman who Barack HUSSEIN Obama rewards with a position of power simply for being, according to him, a ‘trusted adviser’. Some great adviser for it was Susan Rice who was a key proponent in favor of our becoming involved in Libya in the first place, and this decision will haunt her tenure for getting us involved in Libya was what put the entire Arab Spring disaster into motion…a disaster that became a full-fledged Arab Winter…Muslim Brotherhood and all.

And Rice’s bad judgment calls go back even further than the Obama years for in 1996 it was Susan Rice, who as a member of then president Bill Clinton’s National Security Council, convinced him NOT to accept Sudan’s offer to turn Osama bin Laden over to US authorities. Rice’s reasoning was that because Sudan had a poor human rights record this country should have NO dealings whatsoever with that nation’s government…NO dealings…NOT even to take into custody the al-Qaeda leader or to receive any intelligence information on terrorists from Sudanese authorities.

Imagine if she did NOT open her big mouth…imagine if Bill Clinton had NOT listened to her stupidity…9/11 might NOT have happened and 3000 Americans might have still been alive today.

And this is who Barack HUSSEIN Obama considers a ‘trusted adviser’.

But hey why NOT as Susan Rice sides with ‘the brethren’ as much as Obama does. Case in point, in 2005 Susan Rice co-authored an academic article that postulated terrorism was “a threat borne of both oppression and deprivation.”

Feeling sorry and making excuses for those who commit terrorism…that is who Susan Rice is.

Susan Rice is also NO friend to Israel as she outwardly supports the so-called Palestinians. In February 2011, Rice made comments at the U(seless) N(ations) that Israeli settlements undermine security, corrode hopes for peace, and violate international commitments, calling Israeli settlement activity illegitimate.

Like Israel really gave a damn what Susan Rice thought two years ago or thinks today.

And are you ready for this..with a personal fortune estimated between $24 to $44 million, Susan Rice has a number of major investments in companies that invest in and do business with Iranian companies, especially with companies that do business in Iran’s oil, gas, and energy sector…and the word ‘energy’ should send up red flags…major red flags.

So by giving Rice an appointed position Obama has sparred her from the oh so nasty and grueling NO holds barred Senate confirmation hearings…hearings that Obama knows must be avoided at all costs because first, he knows that slowly pieces of the puzzle about gun and weapons running to Syrian rebels are surfacing as the Benghazi cover-up is starting to unravel and he cannot afford any slip-ups coming from Susan Rice’s mouth…and second, Obama knows that with Susan Rice’s history she would NOT get confirmed.

And yet here she sits as this country’s new National Security Advisor…par for the course for a president who surrounds himself with miscreants, muslim sympathizers, and traitors…just like him.
