Educators face backlash, firings after posts lament Trump surviving WHCA dinner shooting
One was fired and another placed on administrative leave after posts about the shooting at the Washington Hilton Hotel
Fox News

Education professionals from across the country are facing backlash after posting reactions online voicing disappointment that President Donald Trump was not killed in the Saturday shooting during the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.

1. Corrine Baum, Ohio

"Man, there's been a few creators on here saying that, like Friday or yesterday could have been the day, and then I wake up to that news, but not that news," a teacher for BrightPath identified as Corrine Baum said in the video. "We're going to have to pay really close attention to what they're trying to actually distract us from."

In a Monday statement to Fox News Digital, a spokesperson for BrightPath, an early learning and childcare provider in Cincinnati, said that Baum had been fired.

"Our organization does not tolerate and explicitly condemns any calls for violence," the spokesperson said. "The comments made online by this individual are deeply inconsistent with our values. The individual in question has been terminated."

Baum declined to comment to Fox News Digital. Read more, and see video here.

Florida passes DeSantis’ redistricting map that could net the GOP 4 seats
Democrats called the new map a power grab by Republicans.
Gary Fineout and Kylie Williams / POLITICO

TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Florida’s Republican-controlled Legislature on Wednesday passed a new congressional map that could help the GOP pick up four more seats in the state, just hours after the U.S. Supreme Court announced a far-reaching ruling that could reshape redistricting.

The final vote is a significant win for both Gov. Ron DeSantis and President Donald Trump after Trump kicked off a mid-decade redistricting scramble across the country last year. But the new map is also destined to trigger a messy legal battle that could play out in both state and federal courts.

Florida Republican legislators muscled through the map given to them by DeSantis just two days earlier, even as lawmakers were trying to absorb the Wednesday high court ruling. The state Senate took a brief delay to review the decision, and several senators could be seen reading it on their laptops.

The map was still approved largely along partisan lines, even though a handful of GOP state senators voted no. Democrats maintained the map was illegal because it runs counter to voter-approved, anti-gerrymandering standards in Florida, but some Republicans said they were swayed by a legal argument from DeSantis attorneys that said those requirements no longer needed to be followed.

Marco Rubio Is Standing Up to China Over This Major Trade Partner
Joseph Chalfant / Townhall Tipsheet

The Trump administration released a statement Tuesday afternoon reiterating their support for the Central American state of Panama as they face an ever more predatory China.

“We, the nations of Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guyana, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States, standing together in our shared mission to secure our hemisphere, reaffirm that the freedom of our region is non-negotiable,” the State Department said in a press release.

“We stand in solidarity with Panama,” the statement continued. “Through our renewed commitment to peace, security, and Hemispheric cooperation, we remain dedicated to facing all threats to ensure the Americas remain a region of freedom, security, and prosperity.”

China has come under great scrutiny from the United States after their decision to detain Panamanian-flagged vessels inside of Chinese ports. In an effort to continue to pressure Panama, Chinese authorities have ordered shipping...Read more, and see Xs here.

Barack Obama’s tacky, hyperpartisan post-presidency is welcome insofar as it serves to remind the public of his tacky, hyperpartisan leadership style.

“Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. . . ,” began Obama’s Sunday evening statement about the gunman who showed up in Washington the night before.

Except by the time Obama got around to acknowledging the attack, the entire world knew why Cole Tomas Allen had attempted to storm the ballroom where President Trump and much of his administration were breaking bread with their ancestral enemies in the Fourth Estate.

“I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” wrote Allen in his manifesto.

A few lines later, he explained he would murder hotel guests and employees alike if he needed to in order to succeed in assassinating administration officials. Read more here.

Unconditional Surrender vs. Submission

...And again herein, in my opinion, lies the main problem as most of President Trump's key advisors also do not understand who and what we are actually dealing with, because if they did they surely would not now or ever be negotiating with islamic terrorists.

Simply, this fully not understanding is indeed the main reason for this war...as it is a war not just to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions but is, in actuality, a war of radical islamic ideologies vs. we in the civilized world. And to complicate the scenario even more so, it's coupled with Islam's continuing to strive for total world domination...while our side tends to view “extension after extension” of deadlines as being the only way forward towards peace.

Peace...in the true sense of the word...cannot happen when the enemy's holy book is also their primer for war, as common sense and logic has no place in the discourse, or so the islamic hardliners believe. And that alone is very telling, because when the bombs and missiles of war do stop falling...which even in Iran will eventually be the case...what is left is the fact that the word “Islam” itself still means “submission.” Read entire article here.

DeSantis under pressure as Florida redraw could tip House balance in GOP map fight                                         Hakeem Jeffries warned Florida Republicans to 'f around and find out' as Democrats vow lawsuits against any new map
Paul Steinhauser, Andrew Mark Miller / Fox News

All eyes are on Florida this week, as it is likely the final battleground in the high-stakes fight between President Donald Trump and Republicans versus Democrats over congressional redistricting.

A special session of the Florida legislature, called earlier this year by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis to redraw the right-leaning state's U.S. House districts, kicks off on Tuesday. At stake is which party will control the House of Representatives during the final two years of Trump's second term in the White House.

DeSantis unveiled his plan for those maps on Monday, Fox News Digital exclusively reported, which shows the GOP gaining an extra four seats.

"Florida got shortchanged in the 2020 Census, and we’ve been fighting for fair representation ever since," DeSantis told Fox News Digital. "Our population has since grown dramatically, and we have moved from a Democrat majority to a 1.5 million Republican advantage. Drawing maps based on race...Read more,  and see videos here.

Defiant Iranian protesters sing in harrowing video before being hanged: ‘The tyrant’s throne shall shatter’
Ronny Reyes / NEW YORK POST

Smuggled video from inside an infamous Iranian prison captured the moment six dissidents broke into song to defy the Islamic regime one last time before they were hanged.

The six men, all executed for their alleged actions against the regime, were seen standing in a courtyard at the notorious Ghezel Hesar prison as they made their final stand with a song of resistance, The Sunday Times reported.

“Your rival stands before you now, hardened in the flame — I am the faith, I am revolt, with belief I take my stand — I’ve sworn an oath upon my blood, the tyrant’s throne shall shatter,” the men calmly sung.

The video was reportedly filmed in the last week of February, with the men identified as Vahid Baniamerian, Babak Alipour, Abolhassan Montazer, Pouya Ghobadi, Akbar Daneshvarkar and Mohammad Taghavi.

Ghobadi, 33, was confirmed to be executed on March 31 after he was allegedly tortured by the regime, which accused him of armed rebellion against the state, according to Amnesty International.

Unconditional Surrender vs. Submission
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor
This article is the authors opinion alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.com or Google.

I do believe that the only ones who know the true horrors of war are those who actually served and fought in times of war, as well as I believe that the logistics of war...the orchestrating of war itself...is best left to the generals and admirals who have witnessed first hand the horrors of war. Wars run by politicians tend to either drag on or not end very well in the end, the Vietnam War being but one such example.

And with that said know that the modern day concept of MAGA...as in “Make America Great Again”...was founded upon the principals of the brave men and women who actually did make America great most especially in times of modern day war. Those like WWII Generals Dwight D, Eisenhower, Douglas MacArthur, and George S. Patton, along with Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, and then President Harry S. Truman, who showed the world not only America's military strength, but our strength of determination in that our enemies surrender was to be unconditional and unwavering. Simply, vacillating was unacceptable as it would appear to be an act of appeasement...and what is appeasement but a sign of weakness and/or even a form of capitulation.

America's strength shown during WWII laid the foundation for the greatness we as a nation are experiencing now, but even the best laid foundation can have cracks in it. And while cracks can be fixed...or at least be surfaced patched...a foundation of greatness built upon fear, uncertainty, and/or what ifs is something that “We the People” must never accept no matter who our president is, no matter the party he belongs to, or the ideology of those we find ourselves at war with.

And herein, I believe, lies the underlying problem concerning our still in progress war with Iran. And why do I say our war and not our and Israeli's war, the war we are fighting together...because I believe Israel...I believe Benjamin Netanyahu...understands the actual ideology behind said war better than does President Trump. But here I must add that it's not our president's fault for Israel has known the truth of said ideology ever since its birth as the Jewish State in 1947, while we on the other hand, only got our first real taste of said ideology on a bright sunny day on September 11, 2001.

And it's this very ideology that complicates the war we (and Israel) are now fighting for the fact remains that our winning the military aspect alone is simply not enough, for even with said victory what is the ideology and mindset of the enemy still holds sway over far too many folks...that is unless a quantum shift in reality were to take place. And here I mean a shift centered in what is islamist religious tenets and misplaced dogma, for this is where the true victory must take place. Why so...because it's the tenets and dogma of Islam that started this war...and many other wars...in the first place, and it's the same tenets and dogma that are denying true and lasting peace to not only take hold, but to set the Iranian people free.

Let me explain. Whether one is a religious believer or not, the fact does remain that both the Old and the New Testaments of Judaism and Christianity do herald peace above all else, while honoring the moral code as laid down in the Ten Commandments. However, it's the jihadist driven islamist followers of the Quran who tend to see both its structure, and its core theology, as being one not of peace, but instead being the definitive guide on how muslims are to wage war, and dominate over all nonbelievers. And again, herein lies where true victory must be won...as in a complete change in ideology if you will...for without that particular victory the fact remains that any peace deal now garnered will most likely be fleeting at best, after all the islamists make deals with fingers crossed behind their backs, and lies spewed through both sides of their mouths.

And, while Netanyahu understands where the true victory must lie, President Trump, in my opinion, does not really understand the mindset of how deeply ingrained the religious indoctrination runs in those still living with and acted upon a 6th century mindset. And here, please know that I am NOT...I repeat NOT...talking about the Iranian people fighting and begging for freedom and an entry into the 21st century civilized world, but I am talking about the islamist rulers of Iran, and how our president, through no fault of his own, has misread the islamic culture itself along with its mindset.

And again herein, in my opinion, lies the main problem as most of President Trump's key advisors also do not understand who and what we are actually dealing with, because if they did they surely would not now or ever be negotiating with islamic terrorists.

And that alone is very telling, because when the bombs and missiles of war do stop falling...which even in Iran will eventually be the case...what is left is the fact that the word “Islam” itself still means “submission.”

And as long as that is the accepted and acting upon meaning of said word, hate will continue to drive the islamists ever forward, thus President Trump must somehow return to his first proposal for peace being“unconditional surrender.”

Why so...because if for nothing else than these words alone, “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled.”
- Surah At Tawbah 9:5

Submission,” “submitting,” are but mere variations of the same word...yet it's the very word that gives new meaning to what should now be...and should have always remained...Iran's “unconditional surrender,” with extensions and vacillating back and forth be damned.

This war can truly only end by our side utilizing and capitalizing on the circumstances by which this war is still unfolding, while accepting as fact that the misplaced ceasefires were but temporary times-out that allowed for Iran to regroup and reorganize to fight yet another day...which unfortunately they have been doing.

Simply, peace can only be garnered in the Middle East...a region that has never really known the true meaning nor application of lasting peace...by the emergence of definitive victors and losers in both the military as well as the ideological aspects of this war. And this means that islamists mind-speak itself must be dismantled and reassembled to be more in line with the century we live in than it is with centuries passed. Why so...because in surrendering... in being deemed the loser...the islamists would them be “submitting” to their conquerors instead of the conquerors “submitting” to Islam as the Quran so dictates. Nothing else should be acceptable.

Remember, a defeated enemy no matter its ideology should never be dictating to the victor how its war must end. And while a military victory for our side does neutralize Iran as a regional power, thus seeing Iran being beaten into what is referred to as “strategic submission.” which in and of itself is very much akin to “unconditional surrender,” minus all the revelry that would accompany said “surrender.” And while this would allow Iran to at least save a bit of “face” in the court of international opinion, the bonus for our side... for western civilization as a whole...would be that what is islamic driven terrorist actions would then become a quite impotent pariah on the world stage, as the Iranian people would be seeing freedom taking hold and taking center stage.

So while President Trump, on Saturday, unilaterally cancelled what was to be the latest Pakistan brokered round of peace talks after his having rightfully dismissed Iran's latest joke of a peace proposal...it now becomes obvious that unconditional surrender” is the only true resolution to this war. And why President Trump ever changed his mind about this will always remain, for me anyway, a question of who told him to do so and why. Case closed.

Iran makes frantic move to store overflowing oil supply — in sign regime is nearing brink
Georgia Worrell / NEW YORK POST

Iran is scrambling to get a massive crude carrier to Kharg Island, in a sign that President Trump’s blockade is bringing the regime’s oil-critical hub — which controls roughly 90% of Iranian crude oil exports — to the brink, according to a report.

Tehran has been forced to take a 30-year-old oil tanker, Nasha, out of retirement as Kharg Island nears its maximum onshore capacity, Gulf News reported Friday.

The vessel, which has been anchored empty for the past several years, is being revived as floating storage for Iran’s teeming crude supply, the outlet reported.

The tired oil tanker is currently en route to the Islamic Republic’s primary crude oil export terminal, according to data from TankerTrackers.com

The frantic move comes as Kharg Island’s remaining spare storage could fill up in just 12 to 13 days, with Iran’s net oil inflow running around 1 million barrels per day, analysts told Gulf News.

Congestion at the regime’s most critical oil stronghold could spiral into a major national economic problem for the regime, the outlet noted.

Iran delegation heading to Pakistan as cease-fire talks with US hang in balance
Trump calls for 2020 presidential election to be ‘permanently wiped from the books’ if Southern Poverty Law Center convicted of fraud
Chris Bradford / NEW YORK POST

President Trump on Friday called for the 2020 election to be “permanently wiped from the books” if the Southern Poverty Law Center is convicted of making fraudulent payments totaling $3 million to members of white supremacist groups the organization claimed to fight.

“The Southern Poverty Law Center, one of the greatest political scams in American History, has been charged with FRAUD,” Trump wrote in a fiery Truth Social post.

“This is another Democrat Hoax, along with Act Blue, and many others.”

Trump then called for the results of the 2020 election – which he lost to Joe Biden – to be wiped if the group is found guilty of wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering offenses.

“If it is true, the 2020 Presidential Election should be permanently wiped from the books and be of no further force or effect!” he said.

The SPLC was indicted Tuesday – with prosecutors claiming $3 million worth of donated funds was secretly funneled to groups, including the...Read more, and see video here

A Virginia Circuit Court Has Just Ruled The State's New Congressional Map Unconstitutional
Dmitri Bolt / Townhall Tipsheet

A Virginia Circuit Court has ruled the state’s newly passed congressional map unconstitutional and issued an injunction preventing the map from being certified and taking effect, according to Ken Cuccinelli the former Attorney General of Virginia. The court also denied a motion to stay a pending appeal.

On Tuesday, Virginia voters approved a new congressional map that heavily favors Democrats, transforming a closely divided state into one projected to send 10 Democrats and just one Republican to Congress, one of the most aggressive examples of gerrymandering in recent years.

Many held the vote as an example that 51 percent of voters have a significant amount of control over 49 percent of voters, a chief reason our Founding Fathers favored a mix of Democratic and Republican principles, as opposed to strict Democracy.

It is also a reason the left loves making everything more Democratic. Read more, see Xs and videos here.

Iran releases video purporting to show commandos seizing ships in Strait of Hormuz
Chris Bradford / New York Post

Iran has released a video purportedly showing armed, masked commandos seizing two cargo vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

The propaganda clip was pumped out by state media Wednesday after the regime boasted it had seized the Panama-flagged MSC Francesca and Liberia-flagged Epaminondas vessels, just hours after the cease-fire was extended.

In the video, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps soldiers are seen speeding toward a container ship that had MSC emblazoned on the side before scaling a ladder and boarding the vessel.

The commandos are wearing masks and carrying guns on their backs.

Then, soldiers were filmed approaching the Epaminondas before they entered a supposed engine room.

The armed soldiers then climbed up the stairs to the ship’s top decks.

The IRGC has accused the two vessels of...Read more, see video and photos here.

Virginia Approves Heavily Gerrymandered Congressional Map in Referendum
Joseph Chalfant / Townhall Tiosheet

The Democrat gerrymander to disenfranchise countless conservative Virginians and seize federal power has passed, leaving Republicans with just a lone seat in the state.

The language of the proposed amendment certainly steered voters in the direction Democrats desired, claiming that the gerrymander would be implemented "temporarily" under the guise of restoring "fairness" in the midterm elections.

Other blue states have either already implemented or are in the process of implementing similar measures to ensure that Republicans are unable to secure representation in their states. “Principled” GOP legislators in states like Indiana have refused to fight fire with fire, and are willfully allowing Congress to fall to the Democrats. Read more, and see Xs here.

President Trump Rips Into 'Paper Tiger' NATO While Lauding Allied Gulf States
Dmitri Bolt / Townhall Tipsheet

President Trump laid into NATO on CNBC’s "Squawk Box" on Tuesday, saying they have repeatedly failed to act like legitimate allies.

Not only have some allies opposed U.S. operations in Iran, but others have actively hindered them by closing their airspace to American military aircraft. They went on to try to take credit after the United States announced the Strait of Hormuz had been reopened, as UK Prime Minister and French President Emmanuel Macron said that Europe would launch a defensive military operation to ensure freedom of navigation.

In effect, the U.S. did the heavy lifting, only for others to step in afterward and try to claim credit.

President Trump made clear Tuesday that he is not pleased.

"You know, we have allies now in the Middle East. Maybe some are, we can maybe count on more than allies in other parts of the world...Read more, see X's and videos here.

Op-ed / Commentary
The Clock is Ticking...What Comes Next?
By: Diane Sori and Craig Andresen / Right Side Patriots
This article is the authors opinion alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.com or Google

On February 28, 2026, President Donald Trump began what no U.S. president had the courage to do over the past 47-years...he began military action against Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. In concert with Israel, over the past two months the radical islamic regime’s military assets have been pounded into the dirt, pounded to the bottom of the sea, and eliminated from the air. The ranks of the regime’s leadership have been decimated, and their ability to continue striking Israel, their Arab neighbors, and U.S. forces in the region has been severely weakened, but not completely eliminated.

Likewise, the Iranian regime’s ability to rearm, resupply and finance their proxy armies has also been severely damaged, but not completely eliminated, and the regime’s hold over the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran relies on for shipping oil...their primary source of income...has slipped away and is now all but controlled by the U.S. and a naval blockade.

But this war is not over unless and until whatever remains of the Iranian regime has been driven out of power, driven out of Iran, and/or permanently eliminated, for to do otherwise means the threat to Israel, the Middle East, Europe, and indeed to the United States, still exists.

However, here is the problem – the “War Powers Resolution.”

By the letter of the “Resolution” not the law, the resolution stipulates that a U.S. president can undertake military action for a period of 60 days after having informed Congress of the action within 48 hours of the beginning of said action. And while it forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, it does allow for a further 30-day withdrawal period without congressional authorization for use of military force (AUMF), or a “Declaration of War” by the United States.

The “War Powers Resolution” was adopted in 1973. This “resolution” was in the form of a United States congressional joint resolution and therefore carries the full weight of law, in this case, 50 U.S.C. ch. 33. But there is now a major debate surrounding it, with the question being, “is it Constitutional?” And while every president since its enactment has argued that it violates the “separation of powers” clause by infringing upon their role as “Commander-in-Chief,” to date the United States Supreme Court has never taken up the constitutionality of the “War Powers Resolution,” so the question remains unanswered. That however, is not the only question, as the second question involves the actual 60-90 day time frame.

At best, that timeline itself is arbitrary, at worst it is insane, and may well be unconstitutional in and of itself. Under such a stipulation all that an advisory would need to do is hunker down and hold on for 60-90 days unless Congress declares war, something Congress has not done since World War II.

So with that said, let’s get back to the current situation regarding Iran. President Trump launched military action against Iran on February 28, 2026. The 60-day clock started ticking down when he informed Congress on March 2, 2026. That means the 60-day window starts closing on May 2, 2026, and slams shut 30-days later, on June 1, 2026…that is unless Congress authorizes further action, which at this point in time seems highly unlikely.

A conundrum indeed, with the question(s) now being what happens next? Will President Trump ignore the 1973 “War Powers Resolution”...simply a check on executive power...and continue the war on his terms alone; will he try get Congress to officially authorize further military action; or will he attempt to fast track his case for continuing said war to the Supreme Court? Only time itself will tell for the now extended ceasefire...a ceasefire the Iranians have broken by their firing upon ships traversing the Strait of Hormuz...does end this week

So here lets look at three possible options.

Option One: If President Trump were to simply ignore the latest proposed “War Powers Resolution,” Congress would then be forced into a debate over whether to rein in Trump's what they deem to be an “unchecked use” of military force, which could then see our country being thrown into a Constitutional crisis, but only if Congress were to pass the latest Democrat attempt at a “War Powers Resolution.” But that's a mute point, for on Wednesday, April 15th, the Senate rejected the Democrats latest efforts at a “resolution” to force Trump to end U.S. military involvement in Iran, and the following day so too did the House. This latest failed “War Powers Resolution” basically negates what the Democrats hoped would be the curbing of Trump’s authority to continue the war without Congressional approval. So, logic then dictates that if there is no acting “resolution” in place, there is no need for Trump to ignore what does not exist.

Option Two: As for Trump needing Congressional approval to continue the war with Iran, there could be a way to override that as well. How so? While the original 1973 “War Powers Resolution” was designed to prevent prolonged military engagement without Congressional approval, presidents of both parties have questioned its actual Constitutionality. Why so...because Congress has never successfully compelled let alone initiated a withdrawal under its provisions with or without a time frame withdrawal in place. In other words, just because a “resolution” is in place does not mean it meets the letter of the law...which leads directly into Trump's third option.

Option Three: This option is probably unlikely due to the time element involved, but it would help settle both the “resolution's” legality and time frame issues. Simply, if Trump were to ask the SCOTUS to fast track his case for continuing the war with Iran without Congressional approval by presenting, as fact, that past presidents have increasingly relied on “executive authority” to conduct “military operations...“war” with but a different name and a vastly longer time frame then the current 60 to 90 days war with Iran... and that they did so without a needed formal Congressional “Declarations of War” with Trump then citing Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and our 20-year long “undeclared war” with Afghanistan...maybe then this game of word semantics the Democrats are playing would come to an end, and we could finish the job Trump intended to do.

And if none of the options we presented come to fruition, after all the Democrats do not want us to win nor do they want the Iranian people to be free...if they were illegals it would be a completely different story...then we say let our bombs fall over Iran until the second the time frame runs out, and then let Israel finish the job that we all know needs to be done.
