A Virginia Circuit Court Has Just Ruled The State's New Congressional Map Unconstitutional

A Virginia Circuit Court has ruled the state’s newly passed congressional map unconstitutional and issued an injunction preventing the map from being certified and taking effect, according to Ken Cuccinelli the former Attorney General of Virginia. The court also denied a motion to stay a pending appeal. 

On Tuesday, Virginia voters approved a new congressional map that heavily favors Democrats, transforming a closely divided state into one projected to send 10 Democrats and just one Republican to Congress, one of the most aggressive examples of gerrymandering in recent years.

Many held the vote as an example that 51 percent of voters have a significant amount of control over 49 percent of voters, a chief reason our Founding Fathers favored a mix of Democratic and Republican principles, as opposed to strict Democracy.

Iran releases video purporting to show commandos seizing ships in Strait of Hormuz

Iran has released a video purportedly showing armed, masked commandos seizing two cargo vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. 

The propaganda clip was pumped out by state media Wednesday after the regime boasted it had seized the Panama-flagged MSC Francesca and Liberia-flagged Epaminondas vessels, just hours after the cease-fire was extended.

In the video, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps soldiers are seen speeding toward a container ship that had MSC emblazoned on the side before scaling a ladder and boarding the vessel. 

The commandos are wearing masks and carrying guns on their backs.

Then, soldiers were filmed approaching the Epaminondas before they entered a supposed engine room.

The armed soldiers then climbed up the stairs to the ship’s top decks.
