Proof the 'Silent Majority' Really Does Exist

Beth Baumann / Townhall Tipsheet

SAGINAW, Mich. – For months we have heard about the "Silent Majority," the idea that the majority of our nation are conservative, law-abiding citizens who support President Trump. These Americans care about issues like jobs and the economy. They support law enforcement, disagree with Black Lives Matter rioters and, by and large, want government to stay out of their lives.

In Central Michigan, the "Silent Majority" is alive and well. The problem, however, is they're silent because they're afraid of being retaliated against.

"They know they can be humiliated and, probably, a little bit afraid of these activists coming in and doing some damage to their house and they don't want to make that statement," a 60-year-old Bay City woman said, referencing Black Lives Matter rioters.

BOOM! GOP senator will vote for Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, ensuring nomination proceeds

By Pamela Geller / THE GELLER REPORT

Grand slam!

Sen. Cory Gardner, a Republican in a tough reelection race in a swing state, said Monday he supports moving forward on a Supreme Court nomination to fill the vacancy left by Ruth Bader Ginsburg, significantly lowering Democrats’ chances of stopping the process until after the November election.

Gardner, who is facing a re-election challenge from former Gov. John Hickenlooper in Colorado, was viewed as one of the last potential holdouts that could halt the Senate from voting to approve President Donald Trump’s nominee to the high court. But a statement Monday evening made clear he will support moving forward in the process, likely leaving Republicans the votes to clear a nominee even if such a process comes before the November election.

Even the 'Fact Checkers' Couldn't Ignore These Biden Lies About the Supreme Court

Even the 'Fact Checkers' Couldn't Ignore These Biden Lies About the Supreme Court

Speaking at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on Sunday, Joe Biden implored Senate Republicans to ignore the Consitution when it comes to filling Supreme Court vacancies and listen to the Democrats instead.

"I'm not speaking to President Trump, who will do whatever he wants. I'm not speaking to Mitch McConnell, who will do what he wants and does," Biden said. "I'm speaking to those Republicans out there, Senate Republicans, who know deep down what is right for the country and consistent with the Constitution as I stand here in the Constitution Center."

"We can't keep rewriting history," Biden continued, "scrambling norms, ignoring our cherished system of checks and balances."

"We" being the operative word. There's a video of Biden in 2016 saying there is no such thing as the "Biden rule" and that the Constitution clearly calls on the Senate to vote on a president's Supreme Court nominee even during an election year.

GOP Sen. Cruz says Senate Republicans likely have votes to confirm Trump Supreme Court nominee

By Pamela Geller / THE GELLER REPORT

Grab the champagne and popcorn, kids. Violent Democrat knuckle draggers will be entertaining as hell. Love watching losers self-immolate.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said on Sunday that Senate Republicans have the votes to confirm President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, noting it was “particularly important” that the chamber do so before Election Day.

When asked by host George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” if Republicans have the votes to confirm a new justice, Cruz said it was likely. He then pivoted toward Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden challenging the election results while staunchly avoiding the notion that Trump has said he would do so if results show he lost.
