Just a Thought

This thought below is my {Diane Sori) thought alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.or google.com

[[[ I wonder how long it will take ‘Lets Make A Deal With the Enemy’ Trump to realize that this ‘on again-off again’ war with Iran replete with ceasefires, extensions, and ceasefires broken…while at the same time his having underestimated Iran’s military arsenal…has allowed Iran to bring the war to their fellow Gulf nations and beyond.\

And then there’s also the fact that Trump was way out of line with Netanyahu in regards to the U.S. selling/giving F-35 fighter jets to Israel-hating Turkey. What a cleverly crafted divide on Erdogan’s part and Trump still doesn’t get that he was played.

And so 6th century barbarians have successfully outmaneuvered and outsmarted Mr. ‘Art of the Deal’ tenfold… and that is the saddest thing of all for our beloved America, and for the Iranian people who now see their hope for freedom drifting farther and farther away. ]]]

Iran...Vietnam Revisited...Maybe, Maybe Not

...Simply, once Iran's nuclear facilities were left being but deep craters in the sand; once the head of the snake that is the terrorist regime was removed from its body; the fact is that not only did freedom for the Iranian people get knocked down a peg or two on Trump's
“to do list,” but we and they saw their plight actually being replaced by what turned this war into Iran vs. the U.S. for control of the oil shipping corridor know as the Strait of Hormuz.

And here might I add that this, for the most part, unwanted war has a consequence few ever wanted to see in that not only has Iran not yet lost this war, but that we have not won said war either.

A very sad commentary on the war itself in that “We the People” were originally told by our president that the war would last but four to five weeks...a “short term excursion” he said...and yet this what still is a justifiable war is now actually expanding to one degree or another throughout countries in the Middle East. A time frame promised yet a time frame far from being adhered to no matter that Israel...that Netanyahu...wanted to finish this war...as in get the job done...last summer, but Trump emphatically told Israel “no,” that he wanted to give diplomacy a chance first, no matter his originally saying that Iran must “unconditionally surrender.”...Read entire article here.

Trump rejects Netanyahu opposition to F-35s to Turkey: 'Nobody tells me what we should be selling'
Eric Mack / FOX NEWS

President Donald Trump brushed aside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s opposition to selling F-35 fighter jets to Turkey, declaring that no foreign leader would dictate which countries receive American military equipment.

“Tell them, look, Turkey has been a great ally for me,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on the way to Michigan.

“You know, I think he’s — he’s done a very good job, did a good job with Syria. He’s a friend of mine.

"And nobody tells me what we should be selling. And now Turkey has been a tremendous ally for me.”

Netanyahu has urged Washington not to provide Ankara with F-35s or engines for its fighter aircraft, arguing that the transfer would upset the regional balance of power and threaten Israel’s military advantage.

Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Iraq report drone attacks days after US suspended Iran strikes
Reuters / NEW YORK POST

Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Iraq reported drone attacks on Monday, two days after the United States abruptly suspended a two-week campaign of air strikes against Iran, as Tehran appeared to put ‌President Donald Trump’s latest strategic U-turn to the test.

Saudi Arabia said it shot down drones aimed at petroleum targets, some in its eastern province and others in the capital Riyadh. It said the drones had been launched from Iraq by an Iran-backed militia, and it reserved the right to respond.

Separately, Iran’s Houthi allies in Yemen said they had targeted transit sites carrying oil to Saudi Arabia’s main Red Sea oil port of Yanbu, in retaliation for what it said were Saudi drone incursions into Yemeni airspace.

Earlier, Jordan reported shooting down two drones, and Iraqi security sources reported a series of drone attacks on camps housing Iranian opposition Kurdish forces in northern Iraq. Officials did not identify the sources of those drones. Read more and see photos here.
