So Trump has now 'walked back' his 20% "security toll' on cargo ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz after rightfully being called to task for basically doing what Iran actually tried to do. But it's a 'walk back' that is not quite what it seems to be as the 20% fee stays as is, but said monies will now be funneled into what Trump calls "massive" trade and investment deals made directly with the United States by various Gulf States. 

So now we've gone from what are already in place small trade deals with the Gulf  States...states that still don't really like us very much...to "massive" deals with them, while there still is NO mention of those monies going in any way, shape, or form directly to the Iranian people who need said monies to rebuild their lives way more than we and the wealthy Arab nations need bigger trade deals. And this leads me to again say, "Houston, we still do have a problem."

Trump birthright citizenship fight comes roaring back with ‘invaders’ play after Kavanaugh roadmap

Banks uses Wong Kim Ark exceptions to deny birthright citizenship to birth tourists and children of illegal immigrants

Sen. Jim Banks will introduce legislation aimed at ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants and birth tourists by defining them as children of "invaders" under federal law after a Supreme Court ruling last month dealt a setback to President Donald Trump’s executive order on the issue.

Trump recently urged Senate Republicans to move faster on his legislative agenda, including ending birthright citizenship, telling them they were "not fighting hard enough," Banks, R-Ind., recalled in a June 30 interview with Human Events.

Banks told Fox News Digital he plans to introduce the Citizenship Act as soon as the Senate opens for business Monday afternoon – crafting it with a nod to Trump-appointed Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s concurrence in last month's Trump v. Barbara case.

Kavanaugh, concurring in the judgment and dissenting in part, said Trump’s order conflicted with federal birthright citizenship law but suggested Congress could amend that statute to create new exceptions .Read more, and see video here. 

Ex-Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said to be under house arrest over reported Israeli contacts

Former Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been placed under house arrest by the country’s notorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps following a failed Israeli plot to install him in place of the current theocratic regime, according to a stunning new report.

 

The New York Times, citing four Iranian officials, reported Monday that the 69-year-old is being held by the IRGC’s intelligence wing after he left a safe house run by Israel’s Mossad.

 

Before last week, Ahmadinejad had not been seen in public since an Israeli airstrike hit his compound in the early hours of Operation Epic Fury Feb. 28, after which he was spirited away to the safe house, the Times reported, citing US and Iranian officials. 

The former president, who ran Iran with an iron fist from 2005 to 2013, re-emerged last week –apparently flanked by security guards — during funeral ceremonies for the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was ki led on the same day as the strike on Ahmadinejad’s compound. See photos here.
