Just a Thhought

This thought below is my {Diane Sori) thought alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.or google.com

[[[ Interesting conundrum here for today a major news site posted that Iran's military claims it still maintains 75% of its missile and drone capabilities. In fact, senior Iranian Army Deputy Commander for Executive Affairs, Brig. Gen. Alireza Sheikh, told Iran's state-run news agency IRNA that U.S. and Israeli strikes had not been as effective as the U.S. has claimed because, "More than 75% of Iran's missile and drone capabilities remain intact and ready," and that Iranian's drone fleet has "become the enemy's nightmare."

Now remember when last month, in an NBC News interview, Trump said that U.S. estimates are that Iran is down to just 22% of its missile supplies., and that,“We know where their drones are, and we know where their drone factories are. Most of the drone factories have been knocked out… and most of the missile manufacturing areas have been knocked out,”  “They have some missiles. They have some drones..Maybe 21%, 22% of their missiles.”

So here I ask, "How can such a low stock of weapons remain the enemy's nightmare?"  In fact, I see those words as a sign that Iran has NOT been  neutralized nor have we yet to win this war. especially when Iran's stock of bioweapons has never been mentioned in any discourse.  What say you, my blog readers, as Iran is still quite capable of lobbing missiles and drones, and shows no signs of abating any time soon. ]]]

Pentagon races to buy 10X more missiles as Iran war dwindles arsenal, threatens readiness for China aggression
Army's fiscal 2027 budget more than quadruples its PAC-3 MSE acquisition objective to 13,773 missiles amid China concerns
Morgan Phillips / Fox News

The Pentagon is preparing a dramatic course correction after years of purchasing key missile-defense interceptors in relatively modest numbers — even as China built up the world's largest arsenal of conventional ballistic and cruise missiles and the U.S. increasingly focused on the threat of a conflict in the Indo-Pacific.

Following a string of missile-heavy conflicts, U.S. air defenses have been used repeatedly to protect Israel, American forces in the Middle East and Navy ships in the Red Sea, drawing down some of the Pentagon's most sophisticated and difficult-to-replace munitions.

The Pentagon's abrupt course correction raises a question that has taken on new urgency after years of missile-intensive warfare: Why did the U.S. wait so long to build deeper interceptor magazines? Read more, see photos, and video here.

One Year Later, President Trump’s D.C. Crime Crackdown Is an Undeniable Success
Dimitri Bolt / Townhall Tipsheet

It has been one year since President Trump deployed the National Guard to the nation’s capital, vowing to make the city beautiful again. Despite complaints from the left over the move’s constitutionality, the results quickly became undeniable: Washington went its longest period without a single murder, while carjackings and other crimes saw an almost immediate decline.

Now, a year later, that pattern has not changed.

Over the past year, the National Guard, working alongside federal, state, and local law enforcement, has helped arrest more than 16,000 criminals. Authorities have confiscated nearly 2,000 illegal firearms and located 25 missing children, returning them safely home.

Since August 2025, reported crime has fallen by about 20 percent across Washington, D.C. Homicides dropped by roughly 31 percent, motor-vehicle theft fell 53 percent, thefts from automobiles declined 37 percent, and overall property crime decreased by around 21 percent. Read more, see Xs and video here
