Just a Thought

This thought below is my {Diane Sori) thought alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.or google.com

[[[ So while Trump claims he and the U.S. has complete control of the Strait of Hormus, and that we will remain in control even after the war ends, he can bloviate all he wants, but the fact is that the Strait of Hormuz is a "shared global highway" and as such is NOT the property of any one nation. And even while both Iran and Oman each claim a 12-nautical-mile territorial limit off their respective coasts...as most nations do off their coasts...the Iran/Oman limit runs across the 21-nautical-mile width of the strait. But no matter for the fact still remains that under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), commercial and military vessels from ALL nations "retain the right to transit" said Strait no matter what Donald Trump says.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Russia, China, and maybe even Israel, try to cross the Strait...quite interesting indeed. ]]]

Alleged Chinese National Sham Marriage Scheme Busted by Feds
Cameron Arcand / Towhnhall Tipsheet

Eleven individuals in New York were indicted in a massive sham marriage network scheme largely benefiting Chinese nationals.

The alleged scheme went on for roughly a decade for over 1,000 phony marriages that had the exclusive purpose of getting legal status in the United States, as some people even paid upwards of $100,000 for the illegal service.

"Gaining American citizenship and legal status to reside in this great nation is a sacred privilege, and we will ensure it is always done in accordance with the law, protecting our communities and national security,” Blanche said Wednesday at a news conference.

"This scheme was not a quick fly-by-night operation, but rather a year's long multimillion dollar cottage industry to criminally assist people," he said. Read more, see Xs and videos here.

Trump calls Iran ‘all talk and no action,’ touts ‘Wall of Steel’ US Navy blockade as more oil flows out of Strait of Hormuz
Ronny Reyes / NEW YORK POST

WASHINGTON — President Trump claimed Wednesday that the US has complete control of the Strait of Hormuz, one day after Energy Secretary Chris Wright confirmed increasing oil exports from the crucial waterway as Iran’s economy continues to free fall.

“The U.S.A. has total control over the Strait of Hormuz. I THINK WE WILL KEEP IT!” Trump proclaimed on Truth Social.

“Our Naval Blockade is being called, by everyone, ‘A WALL OF STEEL,’ and there is nothing Iran can do about it,” he added.

The US renewed its blockade on Iranian ports last month, with the president opting to hit Tehran with economic pressure to force the Islamic Republic to sue for peace.

Meanwhile, Wright announced on X Tuesday that the seven-day average of oil leaving the strait was up to almost nine million barrels per day. Read more, and see photos here.
