Mike Pence Makes Impromptu Visit To DMZ, Warns North Korea Not To Test The U.S.
"This morning's provocation ..."

Vice President Mike Pence made an unexpected and impromptu visit to Camp Bonifas, a joint U.S. and South Korean base located along the demilitarized zone that separates North and South Korea on Monday.

North Korea, a perennial agent of unrest, attempted to show their strength Sunday with an unsuccessful missile test.

“This morning’s provocation from the North is just the latest reminder of the risks each one of you face each and every day in the defense of the freedom of the people of South Korea and the defense of America in this part of the world,” Pence said during an Easter dinner shared with soldiers on Sunday.

On Monday, turning his attention to the north, he warned South Korea’s counterpart not to test “the strength of our military forces.”

Speaking in Seoul, the vice president said, “We will defeat any attack and we will meet any use of conventional or nuclear weapons with an overwhelming and effective response.”
“[A]ll options are on the table,” Pence added.
Al-Azhar, the foremost institution in Sunni Islam, refuses to declare the Islamic State apostate

By Robert Spencer / Jihad Watch

In June 2009 at al-Azhar, Barack Obama said: “For over a thousand years, Al-Azhar has stood as a beacon of Islamic learning.” In October 2001, right after 9/11, the New York Times called Al-Azhar “the revered mosque, the distinguished university, the leading voice of the Sunni Muslim establishment.” It quoted a Muslim cleric: “Al Azhar […]

Trump Is Granting The Military Much More Leeway In Bombing ISIS
This is good. For eight years, Obama’s anti-American rules of engagement crippled our ability to oppose jihadis in Afghanistan and Iraq. We are still paying the price, and will be for a long time to come.

“Trump Is Granting The Military Much More Leeway In Bombing ISIS,” by Saagar Enjeti, Daily Caller, April 15, 2017:
The Trump administration has given the U.S. military significantly more leeway to use whatever means it sees fit in the fight against radical Islamic terrorism, senior officials say, in stark contrast to the Obama administration.
“There’s nothing formal, but it is beginning to take shape,” a senior U.S. defense told The Wall Street Journal. “There is a sense among these commanders that they are able to do a bit more — and so they are.”
President Trump’s new approach is perhaps best demonstrated in the U.S. decision to drop the largest non-nuclear device in the military’s arsenal — “the mother of all bombs” — on the Islamic State in Afghanistan Thursday. The blast ignited a media sensation, and killed nearly 100 ISIS fighters.

Just a Thought...
Sadness on Easter Sunday                                                            By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor

While today is Easter Sunday...the Holiest of Days to Christians worldwide...I cannot help but to think of the 90,000 Christians murdered last year at the hands of ISIS and other islamic terrorist groups simply because they were Christians.

And I cannot help but to think about how our media played down both Egyptian President el-Sisis's visit here just a few short weeks ago...the very man who tries to protect his country's Christian population...as well as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit... the very man who without his protection there would be NOT one Christian nor one Christian holy site left in the land of Jesus' birth, life, death. and resurrection...in the land where Christians and Jews unite together in our Father's love.

And who did the media play up...who did the left fawn over... Jordan's King Abdullah's visit...Muslim Brotherhood operative Abdullah...a man who is NO friend to Christians...a man also striving for the Levant.

But you want to know the saddest thing of all...the collective silence of America's Christian communities both from the lay person and the clergy. If America's Christians and those Christians in other Western countries do NOT raise up their voices in unison...if they do NOT fight back with more than just 'on their knees' prayers...the demise of Christianity worldwide will be on their consciences as their blood will be on the swords of the islamic invaders...as the flower of Christianity sadly withers and dies.
Wishing all my blog followers of the Christian faith
a very Happy Easter.

Real Science Must Guide Policy
Real Science Must Guide Policy
All too many alarmist climate scientists have received millions in taxpayer grants over the years, relied on computer models that do not reflect real-world observations, attacked and refused to debate scientists who disagree with man-made climate cataclysm claims, refused to share their computer algorithms and raw data with reviewers outside their circle of fellow researchers – and then used their work to make or justify demands that the world eliminate the fossil fuels that provide 80 percent of our energy and are lifting billions out of nasty, brutish, life-shortening poverty and disease.

A recent US House of Representatives Science Committee hearing on assumptions, policy implications and scientific principles of climate change showcased this. Testimony by climate scientists Drs. John Christy, Judith Curry and Roger Pielke, Jr. contrasted sharply with that of Dr. Michael Mann.

Christy noted that Congress and the public have been getting biased analyses and conclusions that begin with and attempt to confirm the belief that human greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions drive climate change. He said government should “organize and fund credible ‘Red Teams’ that look at issues such as natural variability, the failure of climate models and the huge benefits to society from affordable energy, carbon-based and otherwise.” He demonstrated how average global temperatures predicted by dozens of models for 2015 are now off by a full half-degree Celsius (0.9 F) from what has actually been measured.
