Like Biden, Black Lives Matter's Support Is Dipping Nationwide
Matt Vespa / Townhall Tipsheet

Look, when you threaten to douse the streets in blood for promoting the very same policy of allowing police officers to enforce the law, expect people to look at you sideways. Yes, there are still enough white liberals to buoy Black Lives Matter's approval ratings, but like Joe Biden—they're dipping. No doubt they had a chance to have a wide dialogue about policing. There are bad cops—no doubt. Instead, BLM went on an insane tangent of rioting, looting, wanton arson, and declaring policing as an instrument of white supremacy. Not even black Americans support this garbage narrative. Minneapolis had an explicit "abolish the police" initiative that was roundly rejected this year.

Anyway, here's where BLM sits with the American public (via NY Post):

Kyle Rittenhouse Prosecutor Might Have Broken the Law with AR-15 Demonstration
Matt Vespa / Townhall Tipsheet

The Kyle Rittenhouse trial is about to end. The prosecution and the defense delivered closing argument yesterday. Now, the jury is deliberating. Rittenhouse was 17 years old at the time when he shot and killed Anthony Huber and Joe Rosenbaum in Kenosha, Wisconsin during the 2020 riots. He claims it was self-defense—and the video evidence sure backs that up. The testimony of Gaige Grosskreutz who was also shot by Rittenhouse in the arm also blew up the prosecution’s case. He admitted to being shot once he pointed his firearm at Rittenhouse. Huber and Rosenbaum were also no angels. Huber was a rapist and a wife beater. Rosenbaum was a convicted sexual predator. I’m not shedding any tears for them. Our own Julio Rosas is covering the trial at Kenosha right now.

Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger has been the main clown in this spectacle, making so many odd remarks and arguments that you sort of get lost in this spaghetti of insanity. The judge even reprimanded him for trying to pull a fast one when it came to the criteria concerning cross-examination. Oh, and he pointed an AR-15 at folks inside the courtroom...Read more and see tweets and videos here.

Rittenhouse prosecutor Binger led 'clown show' of firearm fallacies: Dana Loesch
Loesch compared prosecutors to ne'er-do-well siblings from the movie 'Step Brothers'

Kenosha County attorneys Thomas Binger and James Kraus were figures in a "clown show" of a prosecution against defendant Kyle Rittenhouse, most notably with their overt lack of basic understanding of firearms, gun rights advocate and radio host Dana Loesch said Monday.

Loesch, a former spokesperson for the Virginia-based National Rifle Association, told "Fox News Primetime" that Binger proved his need for basic firearms training when he flagged the entire courtroom by mishandling an Armalite-style rifle – with his finger on the trigger and the stock not shouldered properly.

She went on to compare Binger and Kraus to Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly's ne'er-do-well characters in the 2008 film "Step Brothers":

"After some of the arguments that I have heard from what I’m calling ‘Brennan & Dale of the Step Brothers law firm’ – [Binger] flags the entire courtroom and jury – and to be honest I’m surprised that a bailiff or … a state trooper in the courtroom didn’t intervene," she said. Tucker Carlson Described The 'Whole Point' Of The Kyle Rittenhouse Prosecution, And It's Horrifying
Scott Morefield / Townhall Tipsheet

The Kyle Rittenhouse trial has been an absolute disaster for the prosecution by every possible sane standard. Yet, lead prosecutor Thomas Binger and his team press on, concocting the absurdest of 'logic' and grasping at outlandish legal straws in a desperate attempt to try to put someone who clearly seems like an innocent teenager in prison for life.

So, is this all really about Kyle Rittenhouse, or is it about something else entirely? Fox News host Tucker Carlson had a chilling theory during Monday night's "Tucker Carlson Tonight" opening monologue:

Tucker Carlson on the "whole point" of the Rittenhouse trial: "You have no right to resist ... the next time BLM sweeps into your town to burn and loot, you'd better not try to protect yourself or your family: 'We will charge you with murder and have the media call you racist.'"
