Virginia mom says activists threatened to 'curb stomp' her for speaking out against school curriculum

'This is murder,' Loudoun County parent Alisha Brand told 'Fox & Friends'

Parents in Loudoun County, Virginia, say they have become targets of violent threats on social media for speaking out against the school district's LGBTQ agenda.

"They said that they wanted to curb stomp me," Loudoun County mom and Army of Parents co-founder Alisha Brand told "Fox & Friends" Friday of threats made on the "Loudoun Love Warriors" Facebook page.

Brand said her organization, which she described as a 501(c)(4) that advocates for excellence in education, school safety and parental rights, has made activists online "very angry," leading to "threats of death."

"I'm not sure if your audience is aware of the violent nature of curb stomping, but what it does entail is grabbing somebody by the back of the head, forcing their mouth open, pushing them down to the ground with their face on the cement, their mouth around the curb, and then somebody else stomping on the back of their head," she continued. 

"This is murder, it's a felony, and this is what I was threatened with by these activists who are tied to our political candidates." Read more and see video here.

Ted Cruz Snaps at Reporters Over Border Crisis: 'Biden This Is Your Fault!'

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) erupted in fury at reporters at the southern border as Title 42 expires, allowing thousands of illegal migrants to storm the U.S. without consequences. 

Speaking at a press conference in Brownsville, Texas, Cruz snapped at reporters who insinuated that Republicans are also to blame for a historic surge about to hit the U.S.-Mexico border. 

"Republican members here, what have you all done to help Joe Biden?" a reporter asked Cruz, along with Sens. Roger Marshall (R-KS), Ted Budd (R-NC), and John Hoeven (R-ND), who were also in attendance. 

Cruz replied, calling it a "ridiculous and silly question," adding that all the press does is "parrot" President Joe Biden's lies. Read more, see tweet and video here.

Banning gun sales to young American adults under 21 is unconstitutional, judge rules

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A federal judge in Virginia has ruled that a law banning licensed federal firearms dealers from selling handguns to young adults under 21 violates the Second Amendment and is unconstitutional.

The ruling Wednesday by U.S. District Court Judge Robert Payne in Richmond, if not overturned, would allow dealers to sell handguns to 18- to 20-year-olds.

In his 71-page ruling, Payne wrote that many of the rights and responsibilities of citizenship are granted at the age of 18, including the right to vote, enlist in the military without parental permission and serve on a federal jury.

“If the Court were to exclude 18-to-20-year-olds from the Second Amendment’s protection, it would impose limitations on the Second Amendment that do not exist with other constitutional guarantees,” Payne wrote.

The Department of Homeland Security released a statement at midnight Thursday as the Title 42 public health order expired affirming that the U.S.-Mexico border remains secure and Border Patrol agents will resume the authorized removal of migrants.

"The border is not open," DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said. "Starting tonight, people who arrive at the border without using a lawful pathway will be presumed ineligible for asylum."

He added: "We have 24,000 Border Patrol Agents and Officers at the Southwest Border and have surged thousands of troops and contractors, and over a thousand asylum officers to help enforce our laws. Do not believe the lies of smugglers."

Mayorkas cautioned that violators would face "tougher consequences" as the Biden administration looks to combat the ongoing migrant crisis. Read more and see video here.
