Vice-President Biden on Boston jihad bombing: “…it was worth it”
Pamela Geller / Atlas Shrugs
Yesterday, I called out Obama and his administration for their silly, empty rhetoric and craven capitulation on the first anniversary of the Boston jihad bombing by refusing to name or discuss the motive and ideology behind the attack. Every time I hear “Boston Strong,” I cringe. Sorry, but this defeatism and fear is anything but strong. Refusal to name the enemy is anything but strong. Daring not to speak its name is not strong. It’s surrender.
I had called Biden out on his nonsensical blather, “We are America, we own the finish line.” They bombed the finish line, Joe. But I had not seen this.
America, elected this clown and his jihadophliac boss. Imagine if a Republican ever uttered such words. But it’s a Democrat, so the enemedia doesn’t even cover it. Doesn’t. cover. it.
It was worth it? Tell it to the little dead boy.

An estimated 3,000 people attended the Boston Marathon Memorial today, including survivors, family of the three people that lost their lives, and first responders. Several people spoke at the memorial ceremony, including former Boston Mayor Tom Menino, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, and Vice President Joe Biden.
When it was Biden’s turn to speak, he told the crowd, “Even though I’m not a Boston fan, I love you guys, man.” No problem there, but then the vice president followed that up with telling the survivors, “My God, you have survived and you have soared…it was worth it. I mean this sincerely, just to hear each of you speak.” The “it was worth it” remark there sparked confusion and outrage on Twitter.
