Appeals Court Affirms Stay on Biden's Vaccine Mandate

Last Saturday the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary stay against the Biden administration's vaccine mandate for private businesses with 100 or more employees. On Friday night, the court affirmed its decision, as reported by Dan Whitcomb for Reuters.

"The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans upheld the ruling despite the Biden administration saying on Monday that halting implementation of the rule could lead to the deaths of dozens or even hundreds of workers," Whitcomb wrote. 

The mandate was set to go into effect on January 4, but employers, employees, organizations, and several states brought suit almost immediately. 

One of the attorney generals involved in bringing the suit, Texas' Ken Paxton lauded the ruling over Twitter. Read more and see tweets here.

Is This a 'Blckface' Attempt? The Left Tries to Cancel Glenn Youngkin...And It Fails Miserably

Is this for real? I had to do a double-take because this cannot be serious. The Democrats are trying to pull a ‘blackface’ Northam attack on Virginia Gov-elect Glenn Youngkin. Youngkin, a Republican, handily beat Democrat Terry McAuliffe in this year’s gubernatorial election. Liberals think Youngkin won due to white supremacy because that’s the default reason they have when they lose elections they think they’re entitled to win. So, to further that fake narrative, they’re truly embarrassing themselves. They’ve found a yearbook photo of Glenn Youngkin in a tuxedo. Yeah, that’s the big bombshell. Oh, sorry—it was his senior prom where other students dressed in “Asian garb.” 

Lord Jesus, it’s a fire. Grab me a cold pop…because this is a nothing burger. Again, what moron thinks that wearing a tuxedo is worse than wearing blackface for a Michael Jackson dancing competition? Read more and see tweets here.

Citigroup Prepared To Back Off On Anti-Second Amendment Stance

It wasn’t all that long ago when I wrote story after story of firearm-related businesses finding themselves cut off from services in the financial sector. It was frustrating because I’m a free-market kind of guy and I didn’t really see what could be done to stop it, especially since the then governor of New York was pushing them to do just that. 

Yet Texas seemed to stumble on a way. As one of the largest states, financial companies desperately want to do business with it. As a customer, though, they’re free to determine who they wish to do business with, same as you or I would.

They said they wouldn’t do business with any company that did such things. Now, one of those companies is ready to do just that.

Citigroup Inc. says it’s prepared to restart its public-finance business in Texas after halting the operations in the wake of a new Republican law in the state that sought to bar it and other banks from such work as punishment for restrictive gun policies. Read more here.

Appeals Court Temporarily Blocks January 6 Committee from Obtaining Trump White House Records

The January 6 select committee will not yet be getting their hands on documents from the Trump White House, following a Thursday ruling from the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. Attorneys for former President Donald Trump asked the court on Thursday to delay the National Archives from handing key documents over to the committee, which was supposed to receive them tomorrow. This ruling comes after U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan on Tuesday ruled against Trump's request to block the release of documents. 

A panel composed of two judges appointed by former President Barack Obama and one by President Joe Biden issued an order granting the request, noting that "the motion for an expedited briefing schedule, which the court construes as a motion to expedite consideration of the appeal of the district court's order denying the motion for a preliminary junction, be granted." Tucker Defends Rittenhouse Use of Force Against a Pedophile Who 'Tried to Touch the Wrong Minor'

During his show Wednesday night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson defended Kyle Rittenhouse's use of deadly force against Joseph Rosenbaum. 

"A rapist called Joseph Rosenbaum was released from a mental hospital and then went directly to join the mob that was burning downtown Kenosha," Carlson said. "Rosenbaum died as he had lived, trying to touch an unwilling minor."

Rosenbaum was a convicted pedophile and felon who raped multiple children. He spent a decade in prison before attacking Rittenhouse on the street in Kenosha during Black Lives Matter rioting last summer. Rittenhouse was 17-years-old at the time.  

The Pima County (Arizona) Clerk of Courts confirm Rosenbaum was charged by a grand jury with 11 counts of child molestation and inappropriate sexual activity...Read more and see tweets and videos here.
