President Donald Trump has vowed to target Iran's economy with an unprecedented wave of sanctions this week.
Iran's head of national security says Tehran will "retaliate in a seismic manner" to any sanctions and will consider any country supporting sanctions to be committing an act of war.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called for a return to the Memorandum of Understanding on Sunday, saying it is better than the current situation of "neither war nor peace."
