Just A Thought

This thought below is my {Diane Sori) thought alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.or google.com
[[[ In the post below this you will see how manufacturing job numbers have increased with businesses across the board adding 162,000 new jobs in August, and with workforce participation rates rising as well. And while that indeed is a very good thing, what is NOT being mentioned is how all this new hiring will actually help lower consumer prices across the board, which is a key factor come the November midterm election. If the American consumer does NOT see a substantial lowering in grocery and gas prices at least a full month before said election it will mean NOT a thing as one's pocketbook will remain the election's deciding factor. ]]]

Trumponomics triumphs in US jobs report — just in time for the midterms
Daniel McCarthy / NEW YORK POST

American manufacturing is on the rebound — and that good news could hardly come at a better time for President Donald Trump, as

Manufacturing isn’t the only sector that’s on a hiring spree; businesses across the board added 162,000 new jobs in August.

Even The New York Times called the latest employment numbers “zesty.”

The paper quoted T. Rowe Price’s chief US economist, Blerina Uruci: “It’s a very good report . . . And it perhaps shows that financial conditions more broadly are not that tight.”

The workforce participation rate rose as well — which matters, because people who drop out of the labor force are invisible in unemployment rates that only count those who are looking for work.

This economy is pulling Americans who’d given up hope off the sidelines and putting them to work.Read more, see video and photos here.

Rudy Giuliani calls for Mamdani to skip 9/11 memorial ceremonies: ‘It offends me’
Emily Goodin and Alex Oliveira  Additional reporting by Georgett Roberts / NEW YORK POST

Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani — who led the Big Apple through Sept. 11, 2001 — says there is “no question” that Mayor Zohran Mamdani should skip the memorial ceremonies marking the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks.

Giuliani — whose steady leadership in the aftermath of the attacks earned him the nickname “America’s mayor” — said during an interview with Newsmax on Sunday that the notion of Mamdani attending the memorials this week “offends me.

“The reality is this ceremony is for the families and for America to remember historically,” Giuliani said.

“Having lost friends there and being very close to many of the families, it offends me that he’s coming,” he said of Mamdani.

The 82-year-old ex-mayor claimed that Mamdani “doesn’t agree that September 11 was an Islamic terrorist attack on the United States Of America,” before going off on an anti-Muslim conspiracy-laced rant.
