Obama Caught Begging For Cash…Illegally?

Barack Obama Phone SC Obama Caught Begging For Cash...Illegally?

It was reported on Sunday that Obama was so broken up after touring the devastation caused by the Colorado wildfires that he promptly hopped aboard Air Force One and made an 18-minute conference call to his big donors asking for cash that was described as “pleading” and “a tad worried.”

Daily Beast columnist Lloyd Grove, who obtained the audio tape from an Obama donor, went on to refer to the call as “rambling[s]”…from “a dog-tired idealist.”

Almost a year ago today, Obama was in hot water for videotaping a campaign commercial in the White House Map Room begging for cash; U.S. Code clearly states that fundraising in a government building is strictly forbidden. The question is, does this also apply to Air Force One? The law does not include the term “airplane,” but by extension, one would think it applied to anything serving a building-like function.

Furthermore, presumably while on Air Force One paid for by taxpayers at a cost of $180,000 per hour, Obama should be engaged in activity relating to his job, not on his hands and knees begging for cash from his cronies.

Here’s the relevant U.S. Code: 18 U.S.C. § 607

(a) Prohibition.

(1) In general. – It shall be unlawful for any person to solicit or receive a donation of money or other thing of value in connection with a Federal, State, or local election from a person who is located in a room or building occupied in the discharge of official duties by an officer or employee of the United States. It shall be unlawful for an individual who is an officer or employee of the Federal Government, including the President, Vice President, and Members of Congress, to solicit or receive a donation of money or other thing of value in connection with a Federal, State, or local election, while in any room or building occupied in the discharge of official duties by an officer or employee of the United States, from any person.

(2) Penalty. – A person who violates this section shall be fined not more than $5,000, imprisoned not more than 3 years, or both.

Here Is Your “Hope And Change”

Obama Hourglass Hope and Change SC Here is Your Hope and ChangeThe following is just a brief list of what America has endured over the past four years. I’m sure there is much more that can be added, but we must not forget these things come November. That is, if  Obama doesn’t find a way to cancel the election.

-Bowing to forign leaders.

-Taking the side of Muslims.

-Extorting money from BP to be placed in a third-party fund for so-called cleanup efforts.

-Defies court order lifting ban on off shore oil drilling.

-Gives $2 billion to Petrobras- a Brazilian-owned oil company in which George Soros is a major stake holder.

-Poured taxpayer money into now-defunct Solyndra.

-Refused to prosecute the Black Panthers’ voter intimidation case.

-Fails to disclose what transpired with “Project Gunrunner-Operation Fast and Furious”

-Says that America is no longer a Christian nation.

-Signs executive order giving him supreme power over America in case Martial law is declared.

I could go on and on from here. I have been saying for the past four years that as news recycles at a rapid pace, we lose sight of what has already happened to our great nation. We MUST look at the big picture here. It has been clearly established that “hope and change” is the same as “fraud and treason”. Four more years of this communist regime will surely spell the death of America. We must become fully awake, educate ourselves, and prepare for the fight of our lives. America has been threatened from within, and we are her last line of defense. As always, stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings.

ObamaCare...the never ending money pit
By: Diane Sori

Bottom line...Obamacare is NOT about healthcare.  ObamaCare is about money and lots of it, in fact 1.7 TRILLION dollars, that’s TRILLION with a capital T, that’s going to be spent over the next decade!  Heaven help our children and grandchildren because they’re the ones that will be paying for it BIG time. As for balancing the budget...that goes right out the window too.

Even though the Supreme Court ruled ObamaCare constitutional as a TAX doesn’t mean that it still can’t be killed or repealed.  We all know by now about the reconciliation process, the hoped for ace in the hole for Republicans, but there is another way that most people seem to forget about and that is to defund it.   Since much of ObamaCare’s funding is ‘authorized to be appropriated’ meaning ObamaCare’s been authorized for monies but NO monies have actually been put in place for it yet. And that means that while ObamaCare is now a reality thanks to the SCOTUS, without dollars to fund it it simply can’t be implemented.  All sorts of cuts to different programs have been talked about and some even put down on ‘paper’ but those cuts have not actually been done yet.

Since both the House and Senate must pass appropriation bills (a legislative act proposed to authorize the expenditure of public funds for a specified purpose) in order for funding and spending to occur, to defund ObamaCare is simple...Congress just should NOT pass such appropriation bills that would funnel money into it.  Hence, ObamaCare would die for lack of a way to finance it.

And with Medicare’s main trust ready to go into the red in 12 years or less, Congress better start defunding the whole damn thing like right now, because Medicare can’t take any more cuts to help cover the cost of this monstrosity.  After all, Medicare is where Obama is trying to cut the most as he feels the elderly and infirm aren’t worth the cost of being kept alive!

The delay in implementation of ObamaCare, while everyone waited for the Supreme Court ruling, actually stalled the funding from being appropriated, which was indeed a good thing.

Adding to this is the fact that many state governors are saying they cannot afford to implement the expansion of the Medicaid provision that ObamaCare calls for.  And without that implementation much needed monies that would have gone into ObamaCare are now being denied.

Another good thing.

Florida Governor Rick Scott, my governor, believes and rightly so that ObamaCare "hinders the ability of the free market to allow higher quality healthcare providers to prosper"  and has publicly stated that he will NOT implement ObamaCare because the law would kill jobs, jobs he has worked so hard to create, and cost Florida 1.9 billion dollars which he feels is just another tax on we Floridian that we cannot afford.

And some governors, including Rick Scott, are going even further by saying they refuse to set-up the required websites where people are supposed to be able to shop for insurance policies that would have funneled monies into ObamaCare.

Way to go Governor Scott!

Governor Scott, and the other governors refusing to implement ObamaCare, would prefer to give tax credits so people can shop for whatever health insurance they choose to or NOT shop for it all.  But here’s the kicker in our sue-happy society...Democrats have said that healthcare groups from around the country would be willing to file lawsuits if these governors don’t comply with ObamaCare.

Just what we need...more frivolous lawsuits to cost we taxpayers even more money that we don’t have.

The next week will be quite interesting as we wait for July 11th and the House promised start to the repeal of ObamaCare.  Let’s just hope that the House Republicans can pull this off, because if not that only leaves us November 6th as our last chance.  And while I have the utmost confidence that Mitt Romney WILL be our next president, I can just the damage Barack Hussein Obama will do to ‘We the People’ in the months before he leaves office just to pay us back for sending him and his precious ObamaCare packing.

Dec. 10, 2011: Two high-energy photons shown as red towers are smashed together in the LHC. The yellow lines are the measured tracks of other particles produced in the collision -- possible evidence in the hunt for the Higgs Boson. Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/12/13/search-closes-in-on-elusive-higgs-particle/#ixzz1oRVvyJhr (CERN)

Scientists working at the world's biggest atom smasher plan to announce Wednesday that they have gathered enough evidence to show that the long-sought "God particle" answering fundamental questions about the universe almost certainly does exist.

But after decades of work and billions of dollars spent, researchers at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, say they aren't quite ready to say they've "discovered" the particle.

Instead, experts familiar with the research at CERN's vast complex on the Swiss-French border say that the massive data they have obtained will essentially show the footprint of the key particle known as the Higgs boson -- all but proving it exists -- but doesn't allow them to say it has actually been glimpsed.

It appears to be a fine distinction. Senior CERN scientists say that the two independent teams of physicists who plan to present their work at CERN's vast complex on the Swiss-French border on July 4 are about as close as you can get to a discovery without actually calling it one.

"I agree that any reasonable outside observer would say, `It looks like a discovery,"' British theoretical physicist John Ellis, a professor at King's College London who has worked at CERN since the 1970s, told The Associated Press. "We've discovered something which is consistent with being a Higgs."

CERN's atom smasher, the $10 billion Large Hadron Collider, has been creating high-energy collisions of protons to help them understand suspected phenomena such as dark matter, antimatter and ultimately the creation of the universe billions of years ago, which many theorize occurred as a massive explosion known as the Big Bang.

For particle physicists, finding the Higgs boson is a key to confirming the standard model of physics that explains what gives mass to matter and, by extension, how the universe was formed.

Rob Roser, who leads the search for the Higgs boson at the Fermilab in Chicago, says "particle physicists have a very high standard for what it takes to be a discovery" and thinks it is a hair's breadth away.

Rosen compared the results scientists are preparing to announce Wednesday to finding the fossilized imprint of a dinosaur: "You see the footprints and the shadow of the object, but you don't actually see it."

It's Not Racism, Mr. President

By: Bruce Bialosky  / Townhall.com

One of the accusations that the supporters and allies of President Obama have continued to assert is that challenges to Obama are based on something other than disagreement with his governing policies or philosophies. Unwilling to listen to opposing arguments, they’re convinced that every difference of opinion has to be based on distaste for black people.

The latest to make this ridiculous claim is Sam Donaldson. Some of you may not even know who Sam Donaldson is so his making a pronouncement about the President may seem as important as your Aunt Lucy making one. Donaldson was a former White House Correspondent and has been an employee of ABC since 1967. Donaldson, who is considered one of the senior newsmen of Washington, stated that "Many on the political right believe this president ought not to be there – they oppose him not for his polices and political view but for who he is, an African American!" Donaldson was prodded to make his comment after reporter Neil Munro jumped in to ask the President a question about his new immigration mandate. This is not a defense of Neil Munro, but what does this have to do with racism?

Donaldson, of course, has a history of aggressive behavior, having similarly asked untimely questions of both Presidents Reagan and George W. Bush, but that is just a matter of degree. Those were Republican presidents, and, according to the MSM playbook, don’t merit any respect. But throughout all the coverage of Donaldson’s comments, not one person asked the man on what he based his assertion. Someone in a senior position for ABC News shouldn’t be able to spout ludicrous statements like this without any basis in fact, or without being questioned.

He’s not the first prominent individual to make this preposterous claim. The President’s buddy and Attorney General said it himself. On the topic of criticism of himself and President Obama, Eric Holder told the New York Times that “This is a way to get at the President because of the way I can be identified with him. Both due to the nature of our relationship and, you know the fact that we’re both African-American.”

Not having any proof of this, I decided to do my own research. It just might be shocking to the race-baiters, but I can find lots of people who gravely dislike Obama’s policies, but could care less about the color of his skin. The Leftist retort to that is “of course, they are not going to admit their racism to you. That is something that remains under the radar, lurking in the shadows.” Those who truly believe this will never listen to reality or reason. They are, in fact, unredeemable.

But here’s a story for you. I recently went to Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox play the Atlanta Braves, and found myself sitting next to a couple of ”good ol’ boys” from Georgia. I don’t often get to meet folks like this; they’re rather difficult to find around the West Side of Los Angeles. I informed them that I was visiting #1 son, who is in Boston working for Governor Romney. My neighbor replied that he was very unhappy with the performance of the current president, and would be voting for Mr. Romney in November. Now keep in mind that this man was the epitome of a southern white boy. He spoke and reeked old south. He even had some chew under his lip. Picture Larry the Cable Guy.

I leaned over and quietly asked him if his distaste for President Obama had anything to do with his race. He said “Hell, no. That stuff has been over long ago.” Then he said the most fascinating thing. “You know who I wish you Republicans would put up for President?’’ I waited, fully expecting to hear names like Jim DeMint or Chris Christie. He blurted out “Condi Rice. That woman is smart and classy. The best thing President Bush did was make her Secretary of State. Now that is someone who would make a great President.”

There’s no science behind what I did, but at least I tried to find out some facts. I have asked the same question to hundreds of people who do not support the President, and have always received a similar response. That doesn’t mean that somewhere there might be people who will base their vote on racial animus, but I haven’t spoken to any of them and neither has Sam Donaldson, Eric Holder, or any of their supporters. They have offered no evidence for their position.

To accuse those who do not support this president of racism is disgusting. To accuse all Republicans of racism is disgusting. To use a position of prominence to assert that someone that disagrees with you is a racist is despicable. And to assert that people are racists with no basis for that assertion is as low as you can get as a human being.

Now you know what I think of you Mr. Donaldson, Mr. Holder, and anyone who agrees with you.

Great News On Obamacare!

Obamacare SC Great News on Obamacare!
The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled that Obamacare is legal….as the BIGGEST tax increase in our history! Isn’t that great? Obamacare has also just thrown an addition $17 TRILLION dollars on our national debt. Even though Obama ADAMANTLY declared to Little George on ABC News for all the world to hear, that Obamacare “is not a tax”….he LIED! Every catagory of taxpayer within the next four years is about to find out how much “FREE” healthcare really costs. Abortions are now going to be legally funded with taxpayer dollars, even though we were told that laws were passed to prohibit such a practice. Businesses, including religious ones, now have to go against their own beliefs and provide birth control. Chief Justice John Roberts was apparently more concerned about how he and “his” court would look to future generations instead of looking at the case before him.

There was one slight hitch, though: the Federal government cannot withhold “Medicaid money” if the state refuses to add citizens to the rolls. Uh-Oh? Besides, does anyone realize what adding 15 MILLION more people to Medicare is going to do to that program? All of you elderly, disabled, and retired persons had better brace yourself because your benefits are about to take a nose dive. The number of doctors now taking Medicare is less than 50% of the total physicians available because of the low reimbursement rate from the feds.

Do Americans really believe that there is such a thing as a free lunch? Obama has just been handed another 17% of our economy to control; what are the voters of this country thinking? The Obama administration has removed over $700 BILLION from Social Security and Medicare so far with more to come. Two already-financially-compromised programs are going to be even further compromised right out of existence if this program is allowed to grow, and seniors are going to realize it when it’s too late to do anything about it! I believe that that’s what Obama is counting on.

How many lies, scandals, and blatant examples of disregarding our Constitution does this regime have to display before all Americans demand that they be held accountable? If the zombies out their voting for the Democrats this year can justify their vote, then God help us. We have two Independence Days coming, hopefully: July 4th and November 6th. May God give you the wisdom to see the light.

The House is up to bat...let the game begin
By: Diane Sori

ObamaCare has been called by many the worst piece of legislation ever passed in modern American history.

Knowing they must NEVER allow our best in the world American healthcare system to become a carbon copy of Europe’s socialist healthcare system, on July 11th the House will take up the issue of a full repeal of that ‘worst piece of legislation ever passed’ thanks to Chief Justice Roberts’ ruling that ObamaCare is indeed a TAX.  And they will do it because they know that if they don’t get this monstrosity repealed this is precisely what will happen.

The White House and some libertard Democrats still refuse to admit that ObamaCare is a tax (the mother of all TAXES in fact) because they know to admit it means they knew it all along.  They knew all along that ObamaCare penalizes by fines those who refuse to purchase health insurance, and they are not happy campers knowing that Roberts called their bluff on this when he ruled ObamaCare was permissible but only under the congressional power to levy taxes clause instead of the personal mandate that Obama wanted.

Now House Republicans don’t have to waste their precious time trying to salvage the very few popular aspects (like the pre-existing condition clause and the kids can stay on their parents insurance until they’re 26 clause) in ObamaCare but can repeal the entire blasted thing in one fell swoop, and then work to replace it with a new health care law that is fair and just for all Americans...all LEGAL Americans that is, with NO free ride for government employees and ILLEGALS, and with NO special exemptions for ‘certain’ groups (and we all know which groups those are).

“What Americans want is a common-sense, step-by-step approach to health care reform…” said House Speaker John Boehner, and he is so right.  We Americans do NOT want to be told what we can and cannot do in regards to our own personal health issues, and we don’t want to be told what we must buy...or else!

Obama has yet to realize that blackmailing ‘We the People’ has never worked before and it sure isn’t going to work now.

Speaker Boehner also said that ObamaCare is a complete government takeover of the health insurance industry and again he is right.  Obama wants the federal government to have the power to take over what for the most part is a private industry but have that private industry do his dirty work for him.  And that is something that ‘We the People’ must NOT allow him to do.  Our health care system is and hopefully will stay a mixture of private ‘if we choose to purchase it’ insurance with most importantly limited government involvement with ‘limited’ being the key word...as in we sure as hell don’t want the feds butting into any of our personal business, period.

It’s almost a given that the repeal will be successful in the Republican controlled House, and using a fast-track legislative process known as ‘reconciliation’ in the Senate, that will enable a simple 51 member majority to pass the repeal instead of the usual 60 votes needed to repeal a bill.  And while a regular Senate bill can be slowed down by a single Senator and blocked by 41 Senators, this will NOT be the case with the ObamaCare bill because the reconciliation process is allowed to be used in matters relating to taxes.

And ObamaCare is a TAX...so says the United States Supreme Court whether Barack Hussein Obama likes it or not.

So the game is back on and hopefully the House will hit the ball out of the park as the start towards the hoped for total repeal of the monstrosity known as ObamaCare begins.
