Just A Thought

[[[ In the post below this you will see how manufacturing job numbers have increased with businesses across the board adding 162,000 new jobs in August, and with workforce participation rates rising as well. And while that indeed is a very good thing, what is NOT being mentioned is how all this new hiring will actually help lower consumer prices across the board, which is a key factor come the November midterm election. If the American consumer does NOT see a substantial lowering in grocery and gas prices at least a full month before said election it will mean NOT a thing as one's pocketbook will remain the election's deciding factor. ]]]

Op-ed:

“Two More Years”...“Two More Years”...Need I Say More

The promised “Red Wave,” for the most part, never came. It ended up being but a small puddle washing up upon the beach so to speak, as Republican hoped for victories turned into loses that both shocked and awed.

Led off by the blue states of New York and Pennsylvania, both proved themselves to be states whose voters seem to relish in their total lack of common sense, as New Yorkers elected a governor who not only denies a rise in crime no matter the statistics shown, but who thinks our economy is moving “merrily, merrily” along. And as for Pennsylvania, her voters elected a senator who, like Joe Biden, cannot even string two words together in a cohesive sentence. A shadow of a man who, again like Biden, is not medically fit to hold office, and who is but a placeholder until he turns his seat over to his even further to left wife due to “medical issues” pertaining from his recent major stroke.

An angry man whose temper flares more times than it should, John Fetterman's campaign was but fear mongering nonsense spewed, while New York Gov. Kathy Hochul remains oblivious to the serious issues facing not only our country but New Yorkers as well. And both saw the economy, record high inflation, an increase in crime, along with the invasion at our southern border, as something not worthy of even a mention as they insistently whined “our democracy is at stake if Republicans win.” Well I have a few choice words for those who voted for these two, as in don't dare start whining when your heating costs rise, your grocery bill and gas prices skyrocket, or when crime comes knocking at your own front door. The old adage of “you reap what you sow” is truly quite apropos.

And one last thing about Pennsylvania, the whining about running out of ballots is pure unadulterated nonsense for the number of ballots printed corresponds to the number of registered voters plus a certain given number of extras...so if Pennsylvania ran out of ballots it's because more folks were voting than were registered to vote. Fraud personified egged on by Fetterman himself who publicly stated he wanted thousands of “illegally cast votes” counted if he were to lose on first count.

And problems were not limited to the east coast, for just like in 2020 there were problems in Arizona as well, most especially in Maricopa county where a supposed “printing malfunction”...at about one-quarter of the county's polling places...saw election officials “assuring voters” that every ballot would indeed be counted. And if you believe that nonsense you probably have a D next to your name. But isn't it funny that only certain states...mostly blue or swing states...no matter the election always seem to have voting irregularities and/or tabulation issues...problems they never had before the Democrats assumed, and are desperate to hold onto, the reigns of power.

But know there were winners as well and to name but a few...J.D. Vance beat Tim Ryan to turn Ohio's senate seat red; Ron Johnson kept his Wisconsin Senate seat; Brian Kemp again beat the infamous Stacy Abrams to remain the Republican governor of Georgia; Sarah Huckabee Sanders became governor of Arkansas in what amounts to a landslide; and the Democrats lost New York's historically blue 18th Congressional district when Rep. Patrick Maloney conceded his race to Mike Lawler. But nothing on election night compared to what happened in my “Free State” of Florida when our great Governor Ron DeSantis beat political party flip-flopper Charlie Crist by 20 points...a blowout which trickled down throughout state races...as well as his turning Miami-Dade County...a blue county for decades...red. Also, Senator Marco Rubio beat his challenger Rep. Val Demings by almost 16 points, now making Florida a solidly red state.

And with his amazing win Gov. Ron DeSantis did become the new defacto leader of the Republican party. President Trump has been replaced...as per the New York Post...by “DeFuture.” And why...because the fact is that few Trump endorsed candidates won what were easily winnable races; our hold on the House will be slim at best; and the Senate remains (as I write this) too close to call. Simply, the “Red Wave” did not happen. And I mean this with all due respect to President Trump...the man who not only did great things while president but whose love of this country is bar none...but now the time has come for we Republicans to move beyond our party's past leaders and embrace our future leaders for if we don't we have no chance to retake the White House in 2024. And why...because narcissism and an overinflated ego is not a platform voters embrace nor are Trump's recent words spoken before the first midterm ballots were cast, “I should get the credit if my chosen candidates triumph but that I shouldn't be blamed if they don't.”

Really...I think not regarding either scenario, and if truth be told a true patriot when seeing the handwriting on the wall would step aside when a better and more electable candidate emerges. And the fact is that President Trump is indeed somewhat to blame for the “Red Wave” that wasn't no matter his continuing to hold sway over those in his Republican and conservative base.

How so? As Trump's popularity continues to drop to new lows after he purposely broke Ronald Reagan's “11th commandment” to never speak ill of a fellow Republican, which he did with his “Ron DeSanctimonious” comment (you can read about that in my previous article, An Uncalled For Misstep), we now find that as per new polls two-thirds of the all-important and much needed independent voters now hold an unfavorable opinion of our 45th president. And this can be witnessed by Pennsylvania's now Sen. Fetterman winning 57% of the independent vote, coupled with the fact that Trump selfishly instigated what was a major political distraction during the midterms final countdown hours by his going all out in promoting speculation about his own possible 2024 presidential run. And with his focusing on himself instead of focusing on the election at hand, Trump is now actually proving himself to be somewhat toxic to both Republican candidates and the Republican platform itself.

But know that none of this criticism is related at all to President Trump's recognized and highly heralded successful economic and foreign policies, but is solely due to his inability to not only keep his mouth shut, but to his overinflated ego dictating that all things political must revolve around and focus on he, Donald J. Trump, alone.

Simply, Trump's continued childish behavior is now seen by many of us who supported him as being both divisive and vindictive towards anyone who dares not to relish in his continued theatrics, thus signaling that it's now time we move on to a uniter instead of a divider. Trump's overwhelming need for revenge, which at times seems to have run its course unfortunately always remains festering just below the surface. Case in point...Trump recently said in an interview in The Palm Beach Post that Gov. DeSantis would “hurt himself badly” if he chose to seek the White House in two years as he would reveal “things about [DeSantis] that won’t be very flattering,” thus proving that Trump's jealous tendencies and and now vindictiveness...and even political blackmail of sorts...has crossed into the nth degree.

Also, Trump's recent statement regarding Virginia's great Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin...the seemingly racist statement where Trump said that Gov. Youngkin’s name, “Young Kin sounds Chinese, doesn't it,” and that “he couldn’t have won without me”...proves that Donald J. Trump and his overinflated ever so divisive ego are no longer what we need to set America right again.

But, the fact remains that no one has proven to be a better uniter, while not saying one bad or derogatory word about Donald Trump, than Florida Governor Ron DeSantis whose 20 point win over Democrat Charlie Christ was accomplished with the help of Democrat votes. His policies and platform resonated across party lines, something Trump failed in the past and obviously still fails to do, while allowing Democrats to happily cross over the partisan “body political” and cast their vote for DeSantis.

A true leader was born on midterm election night and his name is Ron DeSantis.

And with our governor stating during his victory speech that Florida is and will remain a graveyard for “woke” policies, a state that is a “citadel of freedom,” which has “maintained law and order,” one in which taxpayers were “respected,” while having “protected the rights of parents,” his words of truth were easily backed up by his actions taken. “We fight the woke in the Legislature. We fight the woke in the schools. We fight the woke in the corporations,” and “We will never, ever surrender to the woke mob,” in reference to the heart of Democrat policies...policies destroying American ideals, values, and morality.

“I have only begun to fight,” our governor added while many in the crowd...and I'm sure in many Florida homes...happily chanted “two more years”...“two more years”...a loud and clear reference to ongoing speculation that Ron DeSantis may indeed seek the 2024 presidential nomination. The bull in a China shop vs. the calm voice of reason...an interesting point/counterpoint primary match-up for sure...a match-up where I would favor DeSantis in the primary but would cast my vote for Trump if he were to get the nomination.

And while we Floridians would hate to lose Ron DeSantis as our governor, our state would be left in good hands with Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nunez...a female DeSantis politically and policy wise. And the truth is that America needs a man like Ron DeSantis to set our country right...we need a man who draws supporters across party lines...a man with a proven record of success...a family man...a military veteran who understands what being commander-in-chief truly means. And most importantly we need the next generation of leaders for America's return to greatness, stability, and exceptionalism no longer lies in the past but with younger leaders who look towards and define the future.

So what better way to start that return...what better way to see a “Red Wave” truly reach fruition...than by seeing Ron DeSantis...Florida and the Republicans now greatest political asset...starting the ball rolling. Case closed.

October's Booster...An Anything But Surprise

It's hard to believe that I'm writing another Covid-19 article...my 31st to be exact...but when China's nasty little gift to the world is now being used by the Democrats to try and influence yet another election's outcome I feel that I must again speak up.

So let's start by saying that it's a can of alphabet soup gone bad that's heading America's way with the letter B floating to the top of the CDC's media bowl...now all melding together to comprise the letter C* which in Democrat-speak means that Covid season will again soon be here. And this is no matter that Covid cases like the autumn leaves are falling...falling to record low numbers. And even triple vaxxed, double boosted, but twice infected Joe Biden recently told us that the Covid pandemic is over...as in the two dark and dank pandemic winters should now be one for the history books.

And know, as fact, that Covid is no longer pandemic but endemic in nature so it's time we move on to more important yet sadly related things...like exactly how will the Democrats use Covid as the means by which to hopefully stop the Republican “red wave.”

And the answer is really quite simple and we're seeing it now with the first “October surprise” again being courtesy of China's nasty little gift to the world. If the Democrats can't stop their political downfall...as their platform is but a continuation of the economic disasters we're currently experiencing coupled with their approved killing of the unborn...they're hoping that by screaming, “Covid is back...stay home,” will be enough to scare many away from both early in-person voting and voting on Election Day in hope that more fraud prone mail-in ballots are cast. And don't be surprised if over the next week we start seeing pockets of new Covid cases popping up in Democrat controlled cities and states no matter that those states also saw cases waning.

Simply, the Democrat hierarchy along with their CDC and media cohorts think that their newest Covid scare tactics will be enough to allow them to hold onto power. How wrong these Democrats are.

How so? First, we are so tired of being told to put into our bodies rushed to market vaccines and boosters not really proven to be good for us. And we're especially tired of the Democrats and the CDC, in their politically motivated push for more mail-in balloting, again sounding the Covid alarm. Now they're saying that almost “one in three” new Covid cases have been courtesy of the newest B-variant viruses, we also, as if on cue, see both the CDC and key Democrats announcing an updated “bivalent booster” that should...note they did not say “would”...be just as effective in preventing serious disease as were the previous “vaxxes and boosters.”

I didn't know the previous “vaxxes and boosters” were all that effective...simply they were not. In fact, this year more “jabbed and boosted” folks came down with Covid in higher numbers than did we the “unvaxxed and unboosted.” And not only did they come down with Covid, but many had serious side effects that will remain with them possibly for life or could actually lead to an early death, courtesy of the vaccine and/or the booster wrecking havoc on their immune system more so than from Covid itself.

How so? Even when one's immune system appears to be compromised or overloaded...which now seems to be the case for some...they're still being told they need another booster shot within a relatively shot period of time to help in keeping Covid in check. And as the midterm election draws near, we now all are being urged to get yet another rushed to market “bivalent” booster...a booster that has both a component of the original Covid-19 virus strain... which the CDC says will provide “broad based protection” against Covid...plus a component of the Omicron's newest variant which they believe will provide protection against said variant.

But really, the CDC has no way of knowing ahead of time exactly when and which specific Omicron variant or sub-variant will next surface, especially when there are at least six new B-variants surfacing in different parts of the world.

And these new variants while similar in nature are at the same time actually quite different not only in the level of viral load they carry, but in both the intensity and duration of disease they cause. And with each variant deriving from slightly different branches of the so-called “Omicron family tree,” common sense should tell you that while many of the newest B-variant strains do show many, but of course not all, of the same Omicron based past viral mutations, logic should then dictate that there are now simply too many variations for the newest broad based vaccines and/or boosters to handle effectively.

But the question that really should be asked is why are the vaccines and their corresponding boosters effectiveness waning...why are the “vaxxed and boosted” still coming down with Covid while others of us seemingly remain impervious to the virus? The answer most likely is that with all the vaccines currently in use coupled with the need for booster shot after booster shot...they have weakened and in some cases have seriously damaged or even destroyed some folks immune systems. And this is especially true when said shots are given too close together as they lower one's all-important T-cell count, the very cells that are needed to help fight off infection.

And while one's immune system might still continue to “see” and even “recognize” Covid-19 as an invader as the vaccines and boosters have already added Covid to the body's “memory bank”..the fact that the immune system is overloaded does not allow it to fight back quickly enough the next time one is exposed to or comes down with Covid. Simply, one's immune system can no longer react properly against the invader nor can it stop transmission.

And something also forgotten, something key to the entirety of the Covid scenario, is the fact that immunity from any given disease often follows a single natural infection, immunity garnered from vaccines usually, but not always, only occurs after several doses have been given. This means that those who did get the “vax and boosters” were more likely the ones spreading Covid during the pandemic then we who got neither, as those “jabbed” had not built up enough immunity to prevent the virus from being transmitted to others. And on the flip side, we whose immune system was strong enough on their own to fight off Covid-19 has afforded us stronger and more lasting natural immunity then those “vaxxed and boosted.”

But how exactly is one's immune system compromised in regards to the seemingly unending series of Covid booster shots? First, while the booster shots might result in a bit of an increase in antibody levels, said new levels only offer a partial defense against the virus no matter its variant. And why...because one's immune system actually requires a given amount of time...way more than just a mere few weeks or months...to process not only the original “information” it received, but also the additional information in the full vaccination series.

So if one's immune system does need processing time to work effectively against any given pathogen, why do the Democrats keep pushing the narrative that one needs booster shot after booster shot in order to reach the state of immunity where Covid is kept in check...the very state of immunity that we the “unvaxxed and unboosted” now seem to have reached on our own? The answer is quite simple...control via scare tactics that at times do turn into actual mandates.

And we are seeing this now in regards to the newest “bivalent booster” being shoved down our throats, never mind that what's in play here is what's referred to as “convergent evolution”...meaning when different viral lineages independently obtain similar modes of transmission levels versus a single new variant dominating the medical discourse...which in turn overwhelms one's immune system with “information” overload. And with time having allowed the Covid virus to adapt well to human transmission it allows whatever variant is now making the rounds to have what's called “high fitness”...as in the virus becoming easier to transmit...which in turn helps spread the virus amongst those whose immune system is overwhelmed by too many shots and boosters that have not been given the time needed to properly work.

And as with all things we put into our bodies, overdosing on anything...even hoped for preventative measures...is far worse to one's health than the disease one is trying hard not to get. And one just needs to ask CDC Director Rochelle Walensky who, on October 22nd, tested positive for COVID-19, a mere month after receiving the newest Novavax “bivalent booster”...a booster designed to protect against the original COVID-19 strain as well as the BA.4 and BA.5 variants...variants now believed to be in play here in our country. And it's also just two days after the ACIP (the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices) voted to recommend that the CDC add this vaccine to their schedule of childhood vaccinations, even while it still is undergoing testing.

So now we can add CDC Director Walensky to the latest list of current high-profile government officials....officials including Joe Biden and his nursemaid wife Jill, along with the infamous Dr. Anthony Fauci.....who have tested positive for and had symptoms of Covid-19 even though all were fully vaxxed, boosted, and boosted over and over again.

And the saddest part of all is that the uninformed and misinformed masses buy into what the Democrats and CDC folks are trying to sell no matter that science itself shows that some of the newest supposedly soon to be here B-variants actually appear to be impervious to the lab-created antibodies which are a main component of the Novavax booster shots now being offered to the public. And this is no matter that the CDC knows well that last month's results were released from a preliminary research study done at Sheba Hospital near Tel Aviv, Israel showing that the 4th Covid booster shot does not appear to produce enough antibodies to actually prevent infection from the newest Omicron variants.

So while we who did our research on how true vaccines are created and brought to market along with the number of clinical trials and time needed for them to be proven both effective and safe, wisely refused the “jab” when it first came out as well as the follow-up series of boosters, will continue to do so. And while some of us still might come down with Covid, the fact is that over these past two years our immune systems have had time to build up the needed protective antibodies to the point where even if we caught Covid we'd most likely be either asymptomatic or have a much milder case.

But the bottom line...no matter what the White House, the Democrats, the CDC or the media say...is that Covid indeed has morphed into a pandemic of the “vaxxed and boosted”...folks who not only seem to be experiencing repeated cases of the disease, but who also seem to be experiencing more serious symptoms and complications than we the “unvaxxed and unboosted.” We who did not and will not buy into the vaccine hype... especially this October's not unexpected booster surprise...we overwhelmingly remain Covid free years into a pandemic that...as per Biden...no longer is. Case closed.
