How unpopular is Obamacare? Well, very few issues gain the level of outrage that Obamacare pulled together. The bill was passed late at night on a holiday and virtually every opinion poll showed deep opposition to the legislation. Worse, it’s now starting to look like the Supreme Court may strike down the entire law as being completely unconstitutional! According to petition numbers put out by our parent company, Grassfire Nation, just under half a million Americans signed petitions strongly opposing Obamacare.
The total is 437,000. That’s a huge number of individuals taking a recorded action to stand in opposition to Obama’s biggest claimed accomplishment since taking office. The numbers opposing Obamacare are very real and speak for themselves. On the other side of the fight we see paid union members with signs, staged photo ops at press conferences and concocted media narratives pushed out by media matters and leftist messaging hubs.
“From prayer vigils, to news conferences, to citizens waving signs proclaiming love for ObamaCare, it was mostly a show — a ginned up Obama production to mislead the public,” says Steve Elliott president and founder of Grassfire Nation, the organization hosting the petitions drives opposing ObamaCare. “The Obama team was desperately trying to create the appearance of grassroots support for ObamaCare, but as our petitions clearly show the American people are not buying the lies.”Indeed. It’s always good to know that when you’re fighting for what’s right, you’re not fighting alone.
