My open letter to Mitt Romney
By: Diane Sori
Dear Mitt...our future president,
The truth is a hard pill to swallow for some isn’t it...
A few days ago a secretly recorded tape surfaced from a fundraiser
you had in Boca Raton, Florida back in May.
In this tape you stated that a percentage of Americans pay no federal
income tax. And you’re right as facts
are facts. And the fact is, as you
also said, you will NEVER get those votes, so you are right in working on the
independents, those unaligned voters who will determine this election.
Rightly saying this is a message you have been delivering
since day one, a basic philosophical difference between yourself and Barack HUSSEIN
Obama, you have absolutely NOTHING to apologize for. The truth is the truth, and by stating this
in no uncertain terms (even though it was said off the record to folks at a
private invitation event), you really should NOT be chastised but praised for saying
the truth...something Obama knows NOTHING about...something most do NOT want to
hear.
Hearing you describe that nearly half the nation's
population is "dependent on government" and unwilling to take
responsibility for their lives, you truthfully stated, "There are 47% of
the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47% who are with him, who
are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe
the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are
entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it...that's an
entitlement. And (they think) the government should give it to them. And they
will vote for this president no matter what...These are people who pay no
income tax."
And Mitt, you are one hundred percent correct as you simply
stated the sad facts of life in America today under Barack HUSSEIN Obama...the
most miserable and inept president in our nation’s history.
Mitt, I, and the millions of others who stand by you, beg
you to please NOT back down on this no matter how the msm tries to paint you, because
those 47% do indeed, as you said, "believe that they are victims.” The’ sponges,’ as I call them, will NOT bite
the hand that feeds, clothes, educates, gives them free medical care, and all
the other perks they get as they rape our system of our taxpayer dollars at the
expense of hard working Americans.
This 47% relies on the government for their existence, and you
are totally correct in saying, "I'll never convince them they should take
personal responsibility and care for their lives," because they won’t as they
believe the government owes them...something Obama feeds into their psyche
every day as he panders...NO...as he ‘buys’ their votes.
I know you are committed to helping ALL Americans, and that you
have been dismayed by the masses growing dependence on government, as have
many of us. I know you are concerned
with the unprecedented number of people who receive food stamps, and I share
your concern as I have personally seen people pay for grocery carts full of
beer, chips, candy, and soda with food stamps.
You are smart to see that this is NOT what food stamps are for yet in
many cases this is NOT an exception but a rule...as in ‘we the entitled’ can do
what we want with all your so-called ‘haves’ money.
An attitude and lifestyle encouraged by Barack HUSSEIN Obama.
And while you have a Jobs Plan that will create 12 million
new jobs in four years, a Jobs Plan that will grow the economy and move
Americans off of government dependency and into jobs, there will always be those
that will NOT work or even want to work as it’s so much easier to take than
work for what you need or want. The word
‘entitlement’ puts it mildly...arrogance, laziness, class warfare, and simple
jealousy says it better.
“I have absolute disdain for those Americans who can support
themselves but do not. I don’t for those
who can’t, those who can’t make it. That’s what we’re there for. That’s what we do as people. We help each other. But there are far too
many who misuse the system” you said and I so agree. There are indeed truly needy, people who do
deserve our help and support, people who will get that help under your
administration...as it should be.
Your point has always been that redistribution of wealth is
NOT what our Constitution intended. How
right you are as people must be in charge of their own destiny, with government
only being there to temporarily catch those in free-fall because of circumstances
beyond their control...to help them get back on their feet and OFF the government
rolls.
We are NOT Europe...people tied to the government for their
survival goes against everything laid out in our Constitution for our government
was NOT intended to rule our lives but to be an adjunct to it. You get it...Barack
HUSSEIN Obama does NOT as he believes in the European model of socialism or
worse...communism...instead of our American free enterprise system. Mitt, if you play your cards right and stand
strong, that belief in a BIG all-encompassing government will be Obama’s
downfall.
Mitt, I believe in you, I believe in your message, and I ‘Believe
in America.’ Stand strong and stand
proud as sleeping giants all across America are waking up to the sad realities
of what our beloved America would look like under four more years of Barack
HUSSEIN Obama’s stewardship and it isn’t a pretty picture at all.
Keep on message...keep the faith, and we will bring this
home.
The Patriot Factor

AMEN PATRIOT FACTOR!! RIGHT ON!! Standing with you and MITT and ALL AMERICAN PATRIOTS THIS DAY...THIS YEAR..NOV 2012-R & R!
ReplyDeleteR & R for sure!
DeleteVery well Stated! I too hope Mitt does not back down from his statement, a statement that was factually correct.
ReplyDeleteYes it was and thanks.
Delete100% right on! TY Diane for writing this letter. I only hope and pray that Mitt has the courage to stand up to the radical left. Stand for true patriotism...stand for AMERICA. NO MORE APOLOGIES.
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome, Leon, and I agree with all you said.
DeleteAWESOME ARTICLE!! I'm really ticked off about the way some conservatives are blasting Romney on this....just like they did when he made a statement about the comments coming from the embassy. I'm liking Romney more and more and I hope he gets tougher and bolder on Obama and doesn't apologize. I get that he's got to be somewhat careful with his words, but honestly he just needs to tell it like it is--we're all thinking it! Isn't is this what needs to be said??? stupid media, stupid talking heads.
ReplyDeleteI so agree...it's way past time to speak the truth and who cares if Mitt needs to be more careful with his words as he is speaking the truth. And he's NOT a career politician which is in and of itself one hell of a positive!
DeleteThe fact that more than the 47 percent ARE working, ARE appalled at the misallocation of their tax payments into the system, and ARE motivated to vote is ample reason Romney has no concern about stating the unvarnished truth about who he will appeal to for his election. Whatever he does when he has the opportunity to govern is unrelated to what campaign question he was answering. Even if it is misrepresented there is still nothing to be troubled by as regards the response of HIS base or the base of HIS adversary.
ReplyDeleteThis in fact has even solidified the base even more as the truth is the truth whether those on the left like it or not.
DeleteYou are spot on. Romney should not apologize for only stating the truth - going soft will only make him look like Obama. The government has become the plantation and the entitlement crowd who wants to keep getting the freebies are the slaves on the plantation. Yes, that's harsh, but they have no real freedom because of their dependency.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about being harsh because you are 100% correct in your analogy. And like I said...the truth hurts but the truth MUST be told.
