Jordan executes would-be jihad murderer in response to murder of pilot
The Jordanians are promising a strong response to the Islamic State’s murder of the Jordanian pilot. But it is unlikely that they will be able to follow up their strong words with strong actions. What are they going to do, invade the Islamic State? Almost certainly not.
“Jordan execute [sic] failed Iraqi female suicide bomber,” ITV, February 3, 2015:
Jordan have [sic] executed a failed Iraqi female suicide bomber in revenge for the murder of a Jordanian pilot by the terror group.
Sajida al-Rishawi was killed at dawn along with another Iraqi extremist previously sentenced to death, Jordanian security sources told Reuters.
She was jailed in 2005 after unsuccessfully trying to blow up a hotel in Amman for Al-Qaida. The terror group operates under the name IS in Iraq.
