Political Musings 2028

...So with all that said, plus the fact that American's from both sides of the aisle made it clear last November 5th that they're fed up with all the illegal/border nonsense, the social issues in general, DEI and trans/he-she /pronoun nonsense that's being forced down our collective throats, coupled with all the wasteful government spending and mandated must do nonsense, Tim Waltz still continues to spout off that what the Democrats need to win in 2028 is to double down on said nonsense. A foolish man indeed for it's but a sure way for Democrats to lose yet again, as well they should.

However, if the the Democrats are serious in wanting even a chance to win in 2028...which by the way they won't do as Trump's successful “America First” four years will see to that...at least they won't go down like they did in 2024's humiliating election defeat if they chose a more palatable candidate...a more moderate, more centrist, candidate whose vision for America is more aligned with “We the People's” wishes...Read entire article here.

Political Musings 2028

In politics, as in life, most people tend not learn from their mistakes let alone even try to rectify said mistakes. Some people even continue making the same mistakes over and over thinking that eventually they will be proven right and that everyone else was wrong all along. Oh how foolish some people, some politicians, and political parties can be. But thankful a caveat exists in that politically, both in 2026 and in 2028, the Democrats sure to be continued mistakes will become Republican victories once again.

If I think I could offer something...I would certainly consider that.” - - 2024 VP candidate Tim Walz when asked if he is considering running for president in 2028

So here let's begin by my saying have you noticed how much air and press time Minnesota Governor and Kamala Harris' 2024 VP running mate Tim Walz has received of late. I most certainly have as it seems the man even more disliked then Kamala Harris is now one of a handful of those being “groomed,” if you will, to be the possible 2028 Democrat presidential candidate.

And if the thought of Tim Walz isn't bad enough there's the ever infamous Alexandria Ocasio Cortez...or AOC as she's more commonly known...now being seen by some as a “leading star” within the Democrat Party, thus making her a possible 2028 contender for the party's presidential nomination. In fact, an early March CNN poll showed that AOC was the “top politician” amongst both Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents when asked which “one person best reflects the core values” of the party, with her scoring even higher then Kamala Harris who, unfortunately, will remain in the Democrat's presidential nomination mix until she herself says...or Barack Obama tells her to say...that she will not be running for the office of president in 2028.

Now also add these five, in no particular order, Democrat names into the cauldron as possible nominees starting, in my opinion, with:

  1. New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, the Democrat who even The New York Times named as being the “third most liberal senator” based solely upon his voting record...a record that clearly shows he is in full support of affirmative action, same-sex marriage, a single-payer healthcare system, the call for “reparations” for descendants of slavery, and far left economic reform regarding supposed race based wealth inequality being at the top of his priorities list. An easily manipulated and controlled Democrat party loyalist who easily meets certain must be checked off boxes, Booker does rake in the dollars when running for offiice...something the Democrat hierarchy loves.
  2. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, the man who constructed his state's agenda of “defending Pennsylvanians fundamental freedoms” by using “common sense,” which, to me, means that he is the best of possible Democrat nominees to date. Why so...because Josh Shapiro understands the importance of bipartisanship, and worked with Republicans to invest more monies in PA's public educational system, has hired hundreds of new State troopers, and invested millions in economic development to help create jobs in communities previously ignored. Shapiro could be a formidable rival if Democrats get over the fact that Shapiro is both Jewish and a supporter of Israel.

  3. Michigan Governor Gretchen E. Whitmer whose main agenda continues to encompass increasing women's rights, adding more legal protections for both abortion rights and LGTBQ+ rights, with a small dose of increased educational funding and monies for road and infrastructure repairs thrown in for good measure. But, the bottom line is that the woman who promised to “get things done that will make a real difference in people's lives,” still sees her priority being the social issues which, while it helps to check off certain key boxes, it's still not enough for her to secure her party's nomination let alone the presidency.

  4. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey who not only sued the Trump administration more than 100 times...a plus checked off for the far left...but she is the one who relishes in vocally deeming that Border Czar Tom Homan has a “fixation” on Massachusetts. A “climate change” advocate who wants Massachusetts to become a “world leader in combating the climate crisis,” Healey wants the entirety of our nation's economy to become solely “clean energy” driven, And not to be overlooked is her want to turn unused state owned land and public property into affordable rental housing within a year's time...a hoped for vote garnering operation that will go nowhere.

  5. And lastly, California's water rationing, “I basically was fiddling while Los Angeles burned,” Governor Gavin Newsom rounds out the list of whom I think are the most likely leading Democrat possibilities for president come 2028. The governor whose poorly designed and executed economic policies not only destroyed California's what once was a thriving manufacturing industry, but saw it leading to record high housing and energy costs, sky high taxes, failing public schools, and homelessness becoming an acceptable new norm. Yet he remains the party hierarchy's “golden boy.” Why so...because Gavin Newsom has, for better or worse, enough national name recognition and clout to draw the party defectors back into the Democrat fold.

But know there could be others as well, others who while not having enough name recognition to pull votes away from top name contenders, but who could easily become the pivotal wrench thrown into what would be a spoiler mix. Names like former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, New York's nursing home/covid disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Obama loyalist and former Chicago Mayor
Rahm Emanuel whose name not so unexpectedly always seems to pop up on the political radar just around election time.

And so Tim Waltz who recently was not only asked about his 2028 political ambitions, but asked why he believes the 2024 Democrat presidential ticket failed, answered the first part by using a football analogy. Saying that, In football parlance, we were in a prevent defense to not lose when we never had anything to lose because I don’t think we were ever ahead,” a truth many of us knew all along as the public momentum needed to win this race was never behind the Harris/ Waltz ticket. Also, Waltz continues to ignore the fact that “We the People” simply did not believe that neither he nor Harris championed American values and ideals or that they would fight for right over wrong.

Now as to the specifics of exactly why their ticket failed, Waltz answered because, “the Democrats played it too safe during the cycle,” by their not being“bold enough' to stand up for diversity, equity and inclusion and immigration.” Oh how wrong Tim Waltz is as America...as Americans...as a whole, is fed up with and tired of all the race baiting distractions that are the hallmark of both the DEI rhetoric and unfettered immigration... simply what I consider to be even more infamous “Obamaisms” now sadly come back to haunt.

And so Tim Waltz, who loves to state that he never lost an election before last November, needs to understand that his chances are slim to none of his ever becoming the Democrats 2028 nominee for the political baggage he carries will only get heavier if he tries to continue on this course.

So who then do I think might become the Democrat 2028 presidential nominee?

But before I tell you the answer to that and why, let me begin by saying that many on both sides of the political aisle still think it will, in the end, be CA. Governor Gavin Newsom, And why so...because of Newsom's national name recognition; his still being able to swing political clout; his self-anointing of himself as the leader of the fight against Trump and his agenda; and the fact that Newsom has mastered the all-important, much needed to win an election skill of what I call the sometimes dirty “art of political deflection.”

How so? Here's but one key example. Remember after the devastating Los Angels wildfires how, as governor, Newsom successfully shifted the bulk of the fire blame game off of himself putting it squarely on the shoulders of Los Angeles' Mayor Karen Bass, who rightfully must share in the blame. Only a true politician obsessed with himself and with a dedicated cause would be able to do that. And besides, the narcissism that drives Newsom ever forward, also finds this man possessing the trait of single focused self-determination... as in no one best stand in the way of what he wants. Remember, Gavin Newsom has been laying the groundwork since mid-2023 for a 2028 presidential run that he deems should rightfully go to him.

So with all that said, plus the fact that American's from both sides of the aisle made it clear last November 5th that they're fed up with all the illegal/border nonsense, the social issues in general, DEI and trans/he-she /pronoun nonsense that's being forced down our collective throats, coupled with all the wasteful government spending and mandated must do nonsense, Tim Waltz still continues to spout off that what the Democrats need to win in 2028 is to double down on said nonsense. A foolish man indeed for it's but a sure way for Democrats to lose yet again, as well they should.

However, if the the Democrats are serious in wanting even a chance to win in 2028...which by the way they won't do as Trump's successful “America First” four years will see to that...at least they won't go down like they did in 2024's humiliating election defeat if they chose a more palatable candidate...a more moderate, more centrist, candidate whose vision for America is more aligned with “We the People's” wishes.

And for me, a least this far out from 2028, I believe Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro would be the most sensible choice for the Democrats because he is more of a JFK style Democrat in that he has successfully worked and continues to work with Republicans to get things done in his state. Putting his state's needs before what is his party's leftist agenda sends a powerful message to all voters. A centrist Democrat who puts his country first...like did JFK...would at least be somewhat palatable to our Republican side if by some outside chance he were somehow to win, which thankfully I seriously doubt.

But even with that said, I know that Gavin Newsom could well still become the Democrats nominee for Newsom is one thing that Josh Shapiro is not...a Catholic and not a Jew. You, dear reader, figure it out as the sad times we're now in speak for itself. Case closed.

Commonalities Shared, Differences Be Damned

For all their differences in temperament and style there’s a deeper continuity in the beliefs of our 40th and 45th presidents.”
- Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark) in a March 8. 2022 speech at the Reagan Presidential Library

The great Ronald Reagan, in my opinion, was the best president of the 20th century...Donald J. Trump might well be the best in this the 21st century, obviously only time itself will tell. And while both men are molded in the “populist” based tradition of “law and order,” the two men are quite different in temperament, personality, and governing style. However, both Reagan (our 40th and 41st president) and Trump {our 45th and now our 47th president) not only championed states rights, but both men had a deep distrust of “big government” bureaucracy.

And with both men embracing the concept of MAGA...as in “Make America Great Again,” know that the MAGA acronym was first coined by Ronald Reagan as “Let's Make America Great Again” (LMAGA) and used it in his 1980 successful campaign for the presidency, while Trump dropped the word Let'sfirst in 2016, then in 2020, and now in 2024.

Two great men, two great presidents, one an orator bar none, the other speaking more in line with today's common vernacular. In fact, to me, Reagan's “Challenger” speech embodies presidential emotion and pride in American exceptionalism like no other, while with but six little words spoken, “Mr. Gorbechev tear down this wall,” he geo-politically realigned both Europe and the world. And while Donald Trump is not nearly as polished a speaker as Reagan...few ever will be nor does Trump have to be...Trump had his shining moment with but three little words spoken...spoken as blood dripped down his face...“fight, fight, fight”...three little words more powerful than any campaign speech to date.

To me, Donald J. Trump is the common man's Ronald Reagan orator wise if you will, but Trump did shine bright in a CPAC speech given seven years ago when he first spoke about the “forgotten men and women of America”...the very men and women who are the “backbone” of our great nation...as in America's working/middle class citizens...the very men and women that the Biden/Harris administration lost complete touch with, thus rightfully costing the Democrats the 2024 election.

And this identifying with America's seemingly forgotten middle class...even though Ronald Reagan was then and Donald Trump is now anything but middle class...both men let their core conservative values and belief in American exceptionalism take center stage in an attempt to unite together the different factions within the Republican party.

And while both men traveled similar yet different paths to reach the same destination...remember both Reagan and Trump were originally Democrats...Reagan's path was then forged courtesy of his “Eleventh Commandment,” as in “do not to speak ill of your fellow Republicans”...simply, do try to put your “differences” aside in the name of “party unity”... while Trump, even with all his silly name calling of those Republicans who dared to oppose him, was still able to accomplish the same final goal as Reagan by his circling the Republican party faithful around him courtesy of the economic and foreign policy successes of his first term in office.

So while Trump did fail to garner a consecutive term in office...and we all know why... Reagan easily did. But as events continue to unfold, I've come to believe that the break in continuity has now worked in Trump's and “We the People's” favor. How so...first by allowing Trump the time needed to not only expose both the hypocrisy and the tactics used by the Democrat party's hierarchy to hold onto the reigns of power...and do so by any and every means possible legal or not...but it also helped to set the stage for showing how Ronald Reagan was the right man for his time, and that Donald J. Trump is truly the right man for today's time.

And the similarities continue on with both men leading a nationwide turn to the right. For Reagan it was courtesy of the abject failed economic and foreign policy agenda of his predecessor, Jimmy Carter, which easily allowed him to turn Carter's negatives into his landslide election win. Remember, not only did the Carter years see the energy crisis of 1979...which was due to massive Middle East oil price hikes...directly lead to an increase in cost-of-living expenses, which culminated in the recession of 1980 all thanks to what was then double-digit inflation. Simply, Jimmy Carter's economic polices were a complete failure, and it took “Reganomics”...replete with major tax cuts...to help turn our economy around. And not to be forgotten is Carter's owning the foreign policy disaster that was the “Iranian Hostage Crisis”*...a crisis which Reagan used as rightful political ammunition to help him win his first presidential election.

Now here the similarities between the two men continues on for while the mid-to-late 1970”s were mired down in Carter's economic and foreign policy disasters...only to turned around courtesy of “Reaganomics”...we today are the victims of “Bidenonomics”...an economic plan that was doomed to fail for it did not understand nor take into account the wants and needs of average middle class American citizens. But thankfully, Donald Trump was the recipient of a “red tsunami” win based primarily upon the economic successes of his first administration. Energy independence, low inflation, sanity at the gas pump and in our supermarkets, proved we were indeed better off four years ago than we are today.

Simply, few were buying into what Jimmy Carter...the man politically deemed a “weak and ineffectual president”...was trying to sell then, leaving Reagan to be elected in a “red tsunami” of his own; just like now when few bought into what Kamala Harris was trying to sell, as proven by Trump's overwhelming win. A decidedly countrywide shift to the right for both Reagan and Trump primarily, but not completely due to their successful economic policies with their foreign policy stances being icing on the proverbial cake.

Reagan was aided in his win by the ongoing “Iranian Hostage Crisis,” a crisis Carter was ill-prepared for; and in his second term Reagan's well tempered oratory skills and his mastery of diplomacy led to not just the tearing down of the Berlin Wall but the collapse of the Soviet Union as well. And in his contest against Harris, Trump was aided in his win by Biden's disastrous pullout of Afghanistan; Biden's seemingly endless blank check to help Ukraine fight its war against Putin's Russia, and the Middle East War between Israel and Iran...remember, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthi's are just proxy armies of Iran.

Simply, our country was weary of war during Reagan's time...we were just a few years out of the end of the nightmare that was the Vietnam War...coupled with the fact that the hostage crisis had gone on for way too long. And now during this, what will be Trump's second term in office, we find ourselves facing maniacs...especially the mullahs in Iran...who are hell bent on not just starting World War III, but reshaping and realigning the world's geopolitical map to where individual nations take second place to sought after globalization under the auspices of a “one world” dictatorial style government.

And yet even with this above stated fact, what these two men truly have in common is that both Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump fully embraced and more importantly did understand the concepts of not only “peace though strength,” but also the great need to prioritize both our military and to put America, our American interests, and America's safety first. That cannot be said of Jimmy Carter then nor of Joe Biden now, and most especially it cannot be said of Kamala Harris, as easily witnessed by her failed campaign agenda and its overtly weak and extremely lopsided political alliances.

And here it's also important to remember that both Reagan and Trump were and are of the belief that their predecessors were politically naive and that naivety in and of itself is dangerous by design...dangerous to not only hoped for diplomacy but dangerous to both the applications of the law and to our Constitution itself. Simply, what Reagan worked for then and what Trump is working for now is not just to make America herself great again via a rebirth and pride in American exceptionalism, but to solidify America’s standing on the world stage as both the number one superpower as well as being the true leader and broker of world peace.

So what then are the main differences between these two great men...these two great presidents? While their overall political and policy differences are not many, their differences personality wise are clearly more well defined and telling. Here are the four main differences that, to me, do stand out, but at the same do not diminish either man's greatness.

  • First, Ronald Reagan, as president, was way more tolerant of those within the Republican party who disagreed with him, and was more willing to listen to and at least entertain other points of view even from the Democrat side of the aisle; while to disagree with Trump on almost any topic sometimes left one open to a barrage of silly name-calling with a political dismissal of sorts.

  • Second, while Donald Trump is still viewed by many Democrats and even by some in the Republican party as being more “extreme” in his ideologies and communication style, Reagan is viewed by many as being a man more “establishment” in his overall demeanor, political presentation, and style wise.

  • Third, while Trump demands unwavering personal loyalty to Trump the man, Reagan was more insistent on loyalty to the Republican party then he ever was to himself.

  • And lastly, political vendetta's needing to be settled was never part of who Reagan was either as president or personally, but it is a part of Trump the man. But in Trump's defense I must say it's rightly so for no president has ever had to face a political witch hunt on the scale that this man has.

And so I end with these two quotes from each man's first inauguration speeches...quotes that while not as well known as others do clearly show how both Presidents Ronald Reagan and Donald J. Trump truly define what constitutes a deep love for this country, a pride in our people; and American exceptionalism at it's very best.

First President Reagan... “If we look to the answer as to why for so many years we achieved so much, prospered as no other people on earth, it was because here in this land we unleashed the energy and individual genius of man to a greater extent than has ever been done before. Freedom and the dignity of the individual have been more available and assured here than in any other place on earth. - 1981

Now President Trump...“It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag.” - 2017

And here may I say, “God Bless America...today, tomorrow, and always.” Case closed.

* Briefly, the Iranian Hostage Crisis began in October 1979, when a group of armed, militant, Iranian college students...who supported the Iranian Revolution”...attacked the U.S. Embassy in Tehran after the overthrown of the Shah Mohamad Reza Pahlavi. The U.S. allied Shah had been granted asylum to came to the U.S. for cancer treatment during this time but the revolution's leaders wanted him back to stand trial. In total, 53 U.S. diplomats and citizens were held hostage from November 4, 1979 to their release on January 20, 1981...the day when Ronald Reagan was sworn in as our 40th president.

...As the media happily sees their bottom line profits most decidedly in the “black” due to ratings upticks in both viewership and online readership...as usually happens in the lead-up to a major presidential election...coupled with party donations rising as party leaders continue to shove their party's “chosen ones” down our collective throats, it now becomes apparent...or at least it should give one pause to think...that maybe “We the People” are being played by the collective of both parties hierarchy along with their “aiding and abetting” cohorts in the media who dare not side with nor show support for any but the party's chosen “presumed” nominees.

Let me explain. The Democrat party must see Joe Biden as both their party nominee and general election winner, with Kamala Harris again being his running mate, simply because only then would Barack Obama continue being the one actually running the country, with this taking into account that even if Biden were to die while in office with Kamala then becoming president, Obama would gain even more control than he likely already has. Uneasiness Unfolding
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots / Right Side Patriots Radio
The Op-ed posted here is my opinion alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.com nor Google.

As the Holiday Season has finally and thankfully come to an end...and with it the horrendous year that was 2023...I cannot help but think that what should have been the most joyous time of the year seemed more downplayed and somber than in recent years passed. And while many I'm sure felt as I did, I could not stop thinking about certain events that directly led me to harbor what was a truly uneasy feeling regarding events relating to the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election coupled with the horrors of an unwanted war that could forever change key world alliances.

Now as for the upcoming election, for me...first and foremost as it stands right now...is the fact that we will likely see both our beloved America herself and “We the People” being the biggest losers no matter which party's “presumed” nominee is elected next November... with “presumed” being the operative word. And while on the Republican side one man has already deemed himself to be the winner of both the nomination and the general election, his sickly string-pulled Democrat opponent does just the same. And this alone leads me to believe that simple common sense and logical thinking has failed so many on both sides of the political aisle....failed in their refusing to see that freedom's salvation means that neither of the “presumed” nominees is the right man to lead our country during these most dangerous and volatile of times.

Simply and to the point, a total change in leadership is desperately needed especially on the domestic front what with our economy continuing to falter, inflation seeming to be at a standstill at best, and our southern unsecured border remaining but an open “free for all” fiasco. And when you add in overt foreign policy blunders from one man while the other remains eerily silent on certain important matters, it would be unwise to discount the possibility that a third party “Dark Horse” upset could come this November. Why so? As the dissatisfaction numbers with both the Republican and Democrat “presumed” nominees continues to grow...numbers which has led to a totally divided electorate now further being divided within each party itself...means that the truly dissatisfied might well see their only alternative being to vote “rogue.”

According to a fairly recent Gallup poll, not only has a growing number of the party faithful toyed with the idea of voting for a third party candidate, but a full 75% of independents voters...voters desperately needed by both “presumed” nominees to pull off a November win...also have considered voting third party in 2024, because for them neither of the “presumed” Republican or Democrat nominee is acceptable. Also, remember that most independent voters do want the next generation of leaders to assume the reigns of power, and when you couple that with the fact that it's the independent voter who more times than not determines an election's final outcome...courtesy of their taking support away from both the Democrat and Republican nominees...those who are sometimes called “spoilers” might actually become the “saviors” of our country come November 5th. And this is no matter that a good number of folks in the media are saying that a vote for anyone but the “presumed” Democratic nominee is a vote for the “presumed” Republican nominee and, of course, visa-versa.

And the ever constant ad-nauseam spewing of the word “disloyalty”...whether it be personal or party in nature... coupled with the act of “online shaming” has now become the calling card of both party's “presumed” nominee along with their respective supporters, as well as it now being the calling card of numerous “bought and paid for” media cohorts on both sides of the political aisle. And this, I see as being yet another form of “election interference” in its own right, but it's not the same type of “interference” that one of the “presumed” nominees is now currently being accused of.

How so? As the media happily sees their bottom line profits most decidedly in the “black” due to ratings upticks in both viewership and online readership...as usually happens in the lead-up to a major presidential election...coupled with party donations rising as party leaders continue to shove their party's “chosen ones” down our collective throats, it now becomes apparent...or at least it should give one pause to think...that maybe “We the People” are being played by the collective of both parties hierarchy along with their “aiding and abetting” cohorts in the media who dare not side with nor show support for any but the party's chosen “presumed” nominees.

Also, know that Biden's current policies are Obama's policies, just compare and contrast both and you'll see they are one and the same, but with some slight variations to try and hide what is obviously lurking in plain site. Simply, Obama loyalist Democrats...which comprises the majority of the Democrat party...still crave Obama's fundamental “transformation of America”...including but surely not limited to economic “transformation” and cultural “transformation”...as in the nonsense that comprises the bulk of the “woke” ideology...together being what I call “structured transformation from the inside out”...“transformation” of the most nefarious and no longer being kept secret kind.

To the Democrat hierarchy...and know Obama does remain its titular head...prime above all else is that the current Democrat status quo must remain intact...no deviations from Obama's preset course allowed... something that might not be possible if a different Democrat were to garner the party's nomination. It's imperative for the Democrats that easily controlled “presumed” nominee Joe Biden must run against “presumed” Republican nominee Donald Trump for the Democrat hierarchy has had eight long years to assure that the “fix”...the win...is in yet again...at least it is in a rematch between these two men.

And for this reason alone it's imperative that two new nominees...two new persons with different sets of ideas and policies...must emerge before the nomination process actually takes place...something that could still happen but only if common sense is allowed to overtake misplaced loyalty and political devotion within both the Democrat and Republican parties...and only if the media stops pushing this rematch ratings bonanza...a monetary bonanza only for the media...a would be reality disaster for our country as most Americans do not want a Trump v. Biden rematch.

And while the above stated need for two new presidential nominees greatly contributed to my holiday uneasiness, there was another event that for me made the holiday season lackluster at best. And this event has a start date but no end date attached to it...as in October 6, 2023... the day Hamas declared war on both the Jewish State of Israel and on Jews in general via savagery and butchery committed...acts unseen since the days of the Holocaust. And October 6th also marks the day that not only did the victims that is both Israel and the Jewish people morph into becoming the perpetrators for some, but also marks the day that the perpetrator that is Hamas...backed, supplied, and given marching orders by Iran of course...became a misguided hero of sorts to those who relish in keeping the hate that is “antisemitism” alive.

No wonder the holidays, for me, had a shadow hanging over them for not only does the Israeli/Hamas war still rage on...and know that I not only support and side with Israel and BiBi Netanyahu100%, but that I have no sympathy whatsoever for the fate of the so-called Palestinian civilians who not only voted Hamas into power and continue to support them, but who have now become casualties of a war their own people started. And when you add in that the aforementioned rise in “antisemitism” seems to be a perceived and accepted new norm both here in our country and abroad it's no wonder what was once holiday joy seemed missing this past year.

And with what is referred to as Israeli-inflicted Palestinian “collateral damage”...“overkill” some in the liberal media call it...as long as a partisan driven agenda sadly remains the mainstay of the liberal media's discourse...I, and now hopefully you dear reader...can see just how powerful a tool the media...including social media...has become for Hamas and therefore Iran. And with said media...whether knowingly or unknowingly...actually becoming a part of Iran's and Hamas' arsenal to use against both Israel and the Jewish people, they also become but a tool to help Iran shape public opinion as to whom we Americans should deem their self-perceived real enemy to be.

The media's constant droning on about a Palestinian humanitarian crisis...a crisis the Palestinian people alone allowed to happen...the constant showing of physical damage to Gaza itself coupled with the constant lies about the death toll incurred...has now been used by the enemy and their supporters as a tool of incitement here at home. Aimed directly at those who once silently harbored what was below the surface antisemitism, the media's seemingly one-sided rhetoric has directly fueled the dangerous antisemitic actions recently taken against Jewish people here at home...actions that would never be allowed nor tolerated if they were perpetrated against so-called “people of color.”

And as certain partisan driven “talking heads” overtly now try to influence the outcome of the November presidential election, they do so at the same time as they continue to condemn Israel's rightful response against those hellbent on their and the Jewish people's destruction. And sadly, it seems that the media, in general, has now been allowed to dictate what is right and wrong, just and unjust, actions taken. Simply, recent major events and how they've been reported have shown not only a major shifting in former alliances...political and otherwise...but the sad possibility that the outcome of future key events both here at home and abroad might well be decided by those in the media who herald misinformation, choose to rewrite events, report half-truths as facts, and who relish in continuing to spew lies...my earlier mentioned “uneasiness” come to life.

So as we enter this New Year, I'm afraid that as somber as the holiday season of 2023 was that 2024 might even be worse not just for me, but for us all. Case closed.
