On Leaving the UN and NATO...Maybe

In my article last week titled “A Dangerous Symbolic Gesture” I dealt with how the United Nations and certain of our fellow NATO nations...as in France, the UK, and Canada...are now turning their backs on what was once their former ally Israel, and aligning with the UN's call for an “officially recognized” Palestinian State with full UN membership rights. And this got me to thinking about not only how dangerous the UN really is, but how there is now both a vocal and visual breach within our fellow NATO members ranks.

Politically siding with terrorists is one thing...as bad as it is...but to officially recognize them as a UN voting member “state” gives said terrorists both legitimacy and a worldwide platform by which to spew their nefarious cause, which in this case is to wipe the Jewish State of Israel off the map. And this has led me to also think about not just how the UN outwardly favors both those who commit terrorist acts...especially those terrorist acts committed against Israel...but how certain of our fellow UN members and NATO allies...most specifically France, the UK, and Canada...are now threatening to reward terrorists with their UN vote if Israel does not acquiesce to their specific set of demands in a misguided attempt at appearing relevant in the discourse regarding so called Palestinian statehood.

But in the scope of things those three nations are not as relevant as they want you or I to believe for their credibility and status is but in their minds alone as their countries are being overrun by the very sorts of people who engage in the same types of terrorist acts they now want to condone. And when this is added into the fact that the UN relishes in passing what are anti-Israel resolutions ad-nauseam, which has been their calling card for years...along with their decidedly anti-America sentiments...you really have to wonder why we and Israel are still member nations of what I call the “Useless Nations.”

And while we're at it we need to take another look at NATO as well for they, like the UN, so relish in taking what they can from us, but delivering little to nothing in return. And when the UN and NATO are coupled together it seems apparent to me that new alliances and friendships need to be forged.

So let's start with the fact that maybe it's time we walk away from the UN, the very organization that always seems to put global interests first whether they be right or wrong, thus they tend to ignore their own UN charter principals as laid out in “ChapterOne: Purposes and Principles”...which clearly states that the UN's goal is, “To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace.” Words quite laughable at this point in time I'd say, as the UN no longer even bothers to veil their antisemitic resolutions nor their condoning of terrorist initiated actions against the Jewish state along with the fact that they continue to reward seats on their “Human Right's Council” to countries whose governments are oppressive dictatorial regimes. It's no wonder President Trump pulled us off said council for obvious reasons that truly need no explaining.

And what I've just stated is never mind the fact that the UN can always be counted on to try and undermine our U.S. interests especially in regards to President Donald Trump's “America First” foreign policy objectives and agenda. In fact, some current UN resolutions actually do violate or clash with our Constitutional law in areas regarding Congress having been constitutionally granted the power to regulate treaties and international agreements...agreements which, at times, tend to see us in conflict with the ICJ...the UN's International Court of Justice (aka the World Court)...with the one calling for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's arrest for supposed “war crimes” quickly coming to mind. Thankfully though, any UN resolution, court verdict, or declaration that contradicts U.S. law in any way is not legally binding here at home, and rightfully so.

Also, in the UN's failing to abide by their aforementioned founding principle, we find the world today so far away from “universal peace” that we are actually skirting on the precipice of World War III. And with the UN having done nothing of substance to help defuse what are dangerous regional conflicts, it's my opinion that the UN's upcoming September meeting regarding Palestinian statehood actually fuels the flames that are the fires of war.

A few years ago former UN Ambassador, South Carolina Governor, and 2020 Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley stated that, “When the United Nations consistently fails in its duty to act collectively, there are times in the life of states that we are compelled to take our own action.”

And take our own actions we should if for no other reason than the monies we give to help fund the UN is disproportionately out of line with what our fellow member nations contribute. Remember, the U.S. has and remains the UN's largest financial contributor, and has been so since its founding in 1945. In fact, in 2023 alone...the latest posted numbers...shows that we contributed close to $13 billion to the UN which accounts for more than a quarter of their collective budget. And while every member nation is required to help fund the UN, President Trump recently called for a review of our funding based upon the fact that the UN has either been unable or simply unwilling to help solve or even help temper down any of the ongoing conflicts, while their overt in-your-face biases help to initiate, feed, or extend said conflicts.

Just imagine what $13 billion per year could do to help alleviate some of the problems/issues we currently face here at home. And if for that reason alone we have every right to turn our back and walk away from the very organization that does envision us...as do the terrorists and terror supporting nations...to be the “big Satan.”

Now as for NATO, what is the “North American Treaty Organization” and our oldest military alliance to date, NATO's relevancy in helping to keep Europe safe cannot be disputed. However, NATO currently has its own share of problems courtesy of what has been referred to as “geopolitical polarization”... ”polarization” to such a degree that in it's helping to divide the loyalties of its member nations it directly affected how NATO is supposed to operate. How so? One example can be seen in how what was originally a two nation conflict turned global...as in Ukraine v. Russia...and how it has driven a wedge between NATO members as to whether or not to ever accept Ukraine into the NATO fold. Ukraine wants desperately to join NATO, yet within the ranks is fear of what Russia...of what Putin...might or might not do if Ukraine did become a NATO member...a member who would be sitting right on Russia's eastern border.

And it's this very fear that helps weaken that which is the very fabric of NATO itself, while at the same time causes us to wonder if fear itself makes for strong and dependable camaraderie. And in my opinion, the way certain nation's leaders are acting I say it does not. And when coupled with what has become our disproportionate monetary and military responsibility, it has left me wondering if NATO and its headaches are worth us being a part of it anymore.

Again, and in my opinion, I say it's not, for like the UN the handwriting is on the wall, as both organizations relish in taking what they can from us while at the same time trying to throw a wrench into not just our alliance with Israel, but in their trying to paint us as being both warmongers and devoid of compassion for those who actually do wish us dead. Convoluted I know, but those with their eyes open would see what I stated as being the absolute truth.

So if we actually did leave the UN what would the outcome be? First, the UN would continue on for a given period of time, but most likely with much less relevancy and influence then they currently have or believe to have. The UN would in losing us as its prime money pit, also see its operational budget taking the biggest hit while terrorist supporting, anti-western“rogue nations,” start moving into the seats of power that we and certain of our allies once held, as those countries aligning with us would probably leave as well. And the “bad actors” who would now be in charge would, in time, collapse what is left of the UN from within...as the UN would have officially become not an instrument of peace nor of one supporting human rights let alone equality.

Simply, it's the U.S. and our fellow like minded nations that help to keep the UN's current radical ideologies, actions, alliances, and far left agendas somewhat in check...but for how long is the question.

And as for the actual physical aspect of our exiting the UN, besides the monies saved now being able to be used here at home, some foolishly do believe that we might actually turn isolationists, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Why so...because I believe we would immediately start forming new alliances that would help to counter or at least combat the negative spheres of influence that would be the hallmark of what would be the UN minus the U.S.

Now as for us leaving NATO, besides the monetary aspects of dollars saved (which is upwards of $500 billion per year) is the fact that while NATO was legally established as per our Constitutional requirements, today's NATO operates under what is called “collective defense principles”...“principals” that when signed on April 4,1949 did align with our national security interests, but do not with our “America First” interests today.

Remember, when NATO was founded Europe was in the process of rebuilding after WWII, even as rummages of what became the “Cold War” were already being set into place. The then Soviet Union was looking to dominate Eastern Europe not via the physical aspects of war, but by communist party infiltration of the democracies of Europe. NATO was supposed to be the wall to block this from happening, and while it succeeded for a time, to look at Europe today one can see that said infiltration has already taken place.

Simply, it's time for Europe to start taking care of itself, especially now that Europe has already, to some degree, acquiesced to acts of terrorism becoming it's new norm. And besides, when three key UN and NATO members...as in France, the UK, and Canada...when the same three U.S, allies...actually threaten to side against the U.S. and Israel by rewarding terrorist acts, it really is time for us to exit what have become two no longer functional organizations.

So where do we go from here? Logic dictates that new alliances, new strategic partnerships. and new organizations, must be forged that are more in line with today's geopolitical reality while not conflicting with our “America First” mindset. We need to be onboard with nations that understand who the real enemies are and whose foreign policy initiatives somewhat mirror that of our own. We need to align with those who not only outwardly support Israel but who are not afraid to stand up to those who do not. We need to align with those who also see the U.S. as a valuable and much needed economic partner, but most importantly in today's volatile world we need to forge alliances with nations who do not coddle terrorists or reward their nefarious actions,

And so the “red lines” have been drawn...either one stands with the U.S. or with those who wish us all dead. Case closed.

“It’s an entire nation out there that is responsible...This rhetoric about civilians not aware, not involved, it’s absolutely not true. They could’ve risen up, they could have fought against that evil regime.
- Israeli President Isaac Herzog's response when asked by reporters why no Palestinians have fought back or outwardly condemned Hamas.

As the Israeli/Hamas War shows little sign of abating anytime soon, we see some in the misguided “court of public opinion” trying to portray Israel's continuing response to the October 7th terrorist attack by Hamas as now being in “over kill” mode. But nothing could be further from the truth for Israel has exposed for all to see...that is if one does indeed seek truth...just how little Hamas cares even about their own fellow Palestinians.

Hiding rockets, bombs, arms, and munitions in schools and hospitals...which Hamas knows are in areas teeming with civilians, also means that Hamas also knows that “collateral damage” is sure to come and on a grand scale, as even they know that Israel has every right to target for reprisals areas and buildings from where said weapons were launched. But Hamas doesn't care, and why would they as they willingly use both Palestinian civilians and Israeli hostages as disposable “human shields.” Actually, what these actions of Hamas has shown to the world is that they are abject cowards of the very worst kind. And the word “coward” itself should be but an acronym for Hamas, for only cowards pray upon those they know cannot defend themselves.

And even with Hamas' publicity garnering tears over Palestinian lives lost...again lives they actually care nothing about...one can see that their final goal remains but a replay of Hitler's “final solution.” And they care less that history itself has shown that war is never a problem's solution...the only true solution remains in securing a lasting peace. But if lasting peace is ever to be achieved between Israel and the entirety of it's Arab neighbors...peace that goes beyond just the 'on paper' recognizing of Israel's right to exist...all sides must be willing to have not only an open-minded and civilized dialogue, but an exchange of ideas which includes having the willingness to “compromise”...at least to some degree...in the name of peace if need be.

Also, know that extremism and terrorism have shown not to have any place in “compromise”...in fact both are the antithesis thereof...with but one exception now being that the Hamas initiated war with Israel must immediately come to an end via Hamas issuing what is a full and “unconditional surrender,” for in their not doing so they, not Israel, are the root cause of even more innocent Palestinian lives being lost. Why so...because only when Hamas surrenders will the Israeli bombing stop; only when Hamas surrenders will humanitarian aide be able to freely enter Gaza; and only when Hamas surrenders will the Palestinian people be able to even start thinking about a future minus all the conflict and hate their leaders and their loyalists have created.

Remember, it's self-serving political leaders and dictators...the hallmark of what has now become known as “geo-political actors”...that benefit personally from war whether said war be either an internal or external conflict. And the wars they fight are for self glorification and for the condensing of power which in turn expands and thus solidifies their control over the masses. And the biggest losers in war remains as it has always been, as in the innocent victims...“collateral damage” as they are sometimes referred to...who have no means by which to fight back. Sway the masses to your side, keep them inline with iron-fist polices that allow for no deviation, and those few who do dissent become voices not heard nor cared about.

“There is no difference between Hamas and Palestinian people.”

- Mosab Hassan Yousef, the Israel supporting and now disowned son of Hamas' co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef.

When Hamas...who began as a spin-off of the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood and who believes the killing of Jews to be a rightful “Holy War”...took control of the Gaza Strip after their 2006 election defeat of their political rival “Fatah,” any semblance of sanity that the somewhat more moderate PLO had to offer the Palestinians was thrown by the wayside. And the Palestinians in Gaza knew well that those they were casting their vote for were but a terrorist gang of thugs, thieves, and hoodlums who relished in serving themselves at the expense of the needs of the people. And the people also knew that Hamas was serving as the area's Iranian proxy...a proxy whose goal was and remains the total elimination of the Jewish State of Israel.

So now that Hamas is treading on its “last legs” thanks to Israel's fighting back, why else would Iran now be moving forces into neighboring Syria but to expand a war even the mullahs must know they cannot win. And their excuse being...with no tangible proof to back it up...that a recent missile strike, that they believe came from Israel, hit their consulate in Damascus and killed a senior Revolutionary Guard Corps commander. But more likely I'd say this was a “disposable” individual now willingly giving up his life to become a martyr for “the cause”... “the cause” being Israel's ultimate destruction.

And as Joe Biden keeps twisting the knife deeper into Israel's back by his calling for an immediate cease-fire between Israel and the Hamas terrorists, the fact remains that the Israeli/Hamas War will continue on until in the end there will either be peace or the war will grow until one side is forced to annihilate the other. Better now for all concerned that a permanent solution be found...a solution acceptable to all parties, but it must be a solution that includes a now and forever abandonment of all calls for islamic jihad against the Jewish State of Israel.

But really, are there any tangible and workable solutions to this war or will this war eventually die down on its own accord only to be reignited at some future date? I believe there is a path forward to peace but that only one solution is feasible, whether some like or accept it or not, and that is creating a “Palestinian State” which, when created, will in and off itself help in the diffusing of a certain modicum of hate. However, said creation does come with one key caveat...one not now or ever open to discussion...as said creation must never...I repeat never...involve Israel giving up anymore of its land for the building of said state. Israel has already given up land, as in the West Bank, and all it's done is seeing the Palestinians wanting even more of Israel's land.

Simply, the only way this solution can work is if any of the 22 nations that comprise the 5,148,014 sq. miles of the Arab world are willing to give up a sliver of their land for the creation of a Palestinian State...with...and this is critical...said state created must not lie on Israel's border and must not be governed by any terrorist supporting or condoning groups. Remember, with Israel being but 8,630 sq. miles in size, which roughly equates to the size of New Jersey, the combined Arab lands roughly equates to 500x the size of Israel. Logic alone should then dictate that the land for a Palestinian State should rightfully come from the Palestinians fellow brethren...it is after all time for them take care of “their own”...with no land being taken from Israel nor should the UN or the U.S. be the ones to decide both the fate of the sovereign nation of Israel nor how Israel fights its wars.

This means that what some call a “two-state” solution solely within the boundaries of Israel is a permanent “no go” as is also an idea being floated that the Palestinians receive citizenship under either one state or a confederation of states with Israel then being their “overseer” of sorts. But I say an unequivocal “no” to this idea for it's time those who call themselves Palestinians...or in some cases Gazans...learn to succeed or fail on their own accord, and let the consequences of their actions be carried by them alone.

Now here one might ask what about Jordan for Jordan is already home to one in five of it's citizens being of Palestinian descent. And while that seems on the surface to be an easy solution to the problem as to where the Palestinians belong, it simply is not. And why...because Jordan's Hashemite King Abdullah is not now nor ever was the man he tries to pass off himself to be...as in a man more westernized in his thinking and beliefs...but is instead a man who actually runs Jordan as a “police state,” and who is hellbent on keeping these people out of Jordan...for economic reasons he so claims. But the truth is that with there being many different “tribes”* who call themselves Palestinians, Abdullah cannot afford their collective numbers to outnumber those in Jordan of Hashemite descent, especially when the one thing uniting said “tribes” is a hatred of Israel and the Jewish people which itself could stir up even more trouble than Abdullah is already facing.

A possible powder keg within Jordan itself...the country lying directly on Israel's eastern border...would surely arise, coupled with the fact that Hamas not only sprang from the infamous Muslim Brotherhood, but that it is the Muslim Brotherhood who still remains deeply embedded within Jordan and who, with both Abdullah's permission and assistance, remains a key player not only in Jordan's politics, but in their pushing forward the rhetoric of Israel hatred. And this alone assures that Jordan is not now nor likely to be a feasible option in regards to peace anytime soon, that is unless King Abdullah himself was removed from power by the Jordanian people alone. But that still leaves 21 other Arab nations who very well might be a conduit for a lasting Middle East peace.

And besides, it's well past time for the Palestinians fellow Arabs to collectively not only take care of but take responsibility for, the very people whose bloodline they share.

This war must end with a lasting peace in place...a peace most especially favorable to Israel while at the same time being fair to the Palestinians who must not only break all ties to terrorist groups but who, while it might sound a bit simplistic, must now start teaching their own children not to hate. The only other option seems to be that if peace is not reached anytime soon, if “collateral damage” alone is allowed to take over the entirety of the public discourse, then the Israeli/Hamas War will spread not just regionally but globally. And this in turn will force Israel to do what Israel probably should have done when hearing of the first Israeli baby being “cooked to death” in a Kibbutz oven by Hamas.

Bitter thoughts, upsetting thoughts, yet thoughts we all need to think long and hard about for the fact remains that without peace it well could come to what, for now, thankfully remains the unthinkable.

May the light of everlasting peace help to extinguish the fires of hate. Case closed.

Op-ed
Abandoning Israel
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio bit.ly/2cpXuRd

"Israelis do not need to be lectured about the importance of peace by foreign leaders."
- Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s response to John Kerry’s speech which he deemed almost as unbalanced as last week's Security Council resolution that declared Israeli settlements illegal

Fact: Barack HUSSEIN Obama is the biggest mistake in American political history. His economic policies are a disaster but even worse are the foreign policy nightmares he has created...policies where our allies are now our enemies and our enemies are his friends.

Fact: a two-state solution regarding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is not the answer and it never was. And why...there is no such thing as Palestinians...period. These made-up people were created by Yassir Arafat in the 1960’s to advance his PLO organization. The ‘so-called’ Palestinians are actually Jordanians...they hold Jordanian citizenship and passports as well as having Jordanian DNA...but shhh...the media, Obama, and his brethren do not not want you to know that.

Fact: Israel is but a tiny sliver of a country being a mere 8,000 sq miles, 260 miles at its longest, just 60 miles at its widest, and barely three miles across at its narrowest. The 22* unfriendly Arab countries...muslim countries... that surround Israel are about 640 times her size (encompassing 5,000,000 sq miles), about 60 times her population with said population occupying but one-sixth of one percent of the lands known as Arab lands. Yet tiny Israel with just 13 million people...13 million Jews...is deemed by both the entirety of the Arab world and by their brethren and operative in the White House...one Barack HUSSEIN Obama...as being "expansionists" and "aggressive" against all 250 million Middle East Arabs, and defacto against the 1.4 billion muslims worldwide.

Fact: the 22 Arab countries (members of the Arab League) all refuse to take in their fellow Arabs...the ‘so-called’ Palestinians. The population of the 22 Arab lands (this includes those muslim countries in Africa) is about 422 million people in total spread out over millions and millions of acres of largely unpopulated land yet they cannot find room for a mere 4.2 million of their brethren, but tiny Israel is expected to give up even more of their land...land just double the size of Rhode Island...for those wishing them dead.

Fact: the only obstacles to any real peace in the Middle East is both the refusal of the ‘so-called’ Palestinians and their supporters to recognize Israel's right to exist, and the sad reality that the Obama administration coupled with his cronies in the U.N. have not only sided with and directly aided Israel’s enemies but have colluded with said enemies to bring about the Jewish state’s demise.

And these facts bring us up to last week’s U.N. resolution vote condemning Israel for their settlement building in the occupied territories...territories rightfully gained in the ’67 War. And this vote...a stabbing in the back actually...was orchestrated and engineered by none other than the Obama administration. And how do we know this...we know this from both his own people and from others unexpected.

First, this past Tuesday, Department of State spokesman Mark Toner said that Egypt and the Palestinians drafted the resolution and that the U.S. worked with them...again...he said the U.S. worked with them...on the language but only after the intention to go forward “no matter what” was made clear. And second, while Egypt had the sense to pull back their support for this...their original resolution...after speaking with both President-elect Donald Trump and with Benjamin Netanyahu himself, Israel’s Haaretz newspaper reported that Egyptian officials "might have leaked" new information that seems to give credence to at least some of the claims now being made by Netanyahu’s office regarding the U.S. working on and lobbying for the very resolution that condemned what they called "Israel's expanded settlements."

Now leaving the four anti-Semitic, anti-Israel countries of New Zealand, Senegal, Venezuela, and Malaysia to do the dirty work....and do the dirty work they did leading up to the fact that this past Wednesday, in his last press conference as Secretary of State, John ‘Swiftboat’ Kerry...a well-known anti-Semite and an integral part of pushing through Obama’s very bad nuclear deal... spewed words of hate towards Israel for 70 long minutes as he defended the U.N. vote...a vote that included making Judaism’s holiest site, the Western Wall, part of Palestinian occupied territory...and defended Obama’s stance on the Jewish state. And so with his usual deadpan look of disgust that he always has when speaking about Israel or about anything Jewish related, Kerry began with words to the effect that no administration has done more to protect Israel’s security than has the Obama administration.

If I could have I personally would have bitch-slapped Kerry across his filthy, lying, islamic-condoning face.

Kerry then started ripping into Israel...into Netanyahu...for his and their settlement building. But the most vile of words spewing from Kerry’s mouth came a bit later when he said that Israel can either accept a two-state solution or, and I quote, "If the choice is one state, Israel can either be Jewish or democratic, it cannot be both, and it won't ever really be at peace.”

But what I want to know is who the hell does John Kerry think he is to tell the sovereign country of Israel what she can or cannot do...what she can or cannot be.

See John Kerry's most vile speech in full here:

These words led Benjamin Netanyahu to push back and push back hard. In a blistering and hastily arranged televised statement coming just one hour after Kerry finished his hateful words, Netanyahu clearly alluded to the fact that he was not happy with Obama or his administration, that he and Israel are committed to resolving issues with the Palestinians only through direct contact not through U.S. brokered contact, and that he was ready to deal solely with President-elect Donald Trump, a man who has sided in total with Israel...a man who understands that the incitement of violence perpetrated by the Palestinians against the people of Israel is of their doing alone.

And what Netanyahu basically did...in a most statesmanlike way...was tell both Obama and Kerry to go to hell. And this came soon after his statement that, "We have it on absolutely incontestable evidence the U.S. organized, advanced and brought this resolution to the Security Council," promising to share the what he called "sensitive" intelligence with the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump.

Gives even more credence to the afore mentioned words of Department of State’s spokesman Mark Toner...gives more credence to the fact that Netanyahu knows well that peace in the Middle East will never be attained by isolating Israel, but can only be achieved through direct one-on-one negotiations between the Israelis and those who call themselves Palestinians.

But Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett went even further than Netanyahu in condemning Kerry’s words. Calling Kerry's speech "divorced from reality,” Bennett spoke in general of Obama and crew’s Mideast policies having left the entirety of the region "in flames” including the "genocide" in Syria; and that Iran is now "racing" towards a nuclear bomb after Obama and crew’s "abandoning" of Israel.

And U.S. pro-Israel groups...groups once in Obama’s camp...have now started chastising both Obama and Kerry for this most vile and deliberate slap in the face to Israel. In fact, in a statement coming right after the vote, AIPAC (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee) stated it was “deeply disturbed by the failure of the Obama Administration to exercise its veto to prevent a destructive, one-sided, anti-Israel resolution from being enacted by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). In the past, this administration and past administrations have rejected this type of biased resolution since it undermines prospects for peace.”

Adding that, “It is particularly regrettable, in his last month in office, that the president has taken an action at odds with the bipartisan consensus in Congress and America’s long history of standing with Israel at the United Nations,” AIPAC also said that they wanted to thank President-elect Donald Trump and the many Republican and Democratic members of Congress who urged a veto of this resolution.

And in calling Kerry’s speech in specific nothing but a “failed attempt to defend the indefensible,” AIPAC said that contrary to Kerry’s claims that, “the [Obama] administration unconscionably failed to block [last week] was unfair, unbalanced and represented a profound departure from the policies of previous Democratic and Republican administrations for nearly the past forty years,” they made it very clear that this resolution was a deliberate and malicious move on both the U.N.'s and Obama's part to rein in Israel and most especially to rein in Netanyahu.

Also speaking about Kerry’s placing “overwhelming and disproportionate” blame for the failure of the peace talks squarely on Israel’s shoulders, AIPAC called him to task for failing to mention the many Israeli peace offers the Palestinians refused to accept including the many offers of resuming direct peace talks.

And Rabbis Marvin Hier and Abraham Cooper, the dean and associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center... said that “Secretary Kerry makes it sound like it’s the apartments and kindergartens built in Jewish communities on the West Bank that are the main impediment to a two-state solution, when he and those diplomats who voted for UNSC 2334 know that it is Palestinian terrorism, and the continued control of Gaza and the largest portion of the Palestinian population by terrorist Hamas that is the main roadblock to a true peace.”

And Republican lawmakers are now chiming in not only on the actual vote but on Kerry’s speech as well. Here are but a few examples regarding the vote: Speaker of the House Paul Ryan described the U.S. abstention as “absolutely shameful.” Rep. Nita Lowey described the abstention as a “stain on the United States’ long and consistent record of defending Israel against one-sided UN Security Council resolutions.”  And Texas Senator Ted Cruz spoke directly with Netanyahu after the vote assuring him of strong support for Israel in Congress and that he and Senator Lindsey Graham are proposing a bill that no U.S. dollars will go to the U.N. until this vote is reversed. And Florida Senator Marco Rubio said of Kerry’s speech, “Secretary Kerry's anti-Israel speech undermines America's moral standing” as well as issuing the powerful statement below.

But it’s not just Republicans who are furious with Obama and Kerry...here are a few of the two dozen Democrats now publicly speaking out against the stabbing of Israel in the back. Virginia Senator Mark Warner said he was “dismayed that the Administration departed from decades of U.S. policy by not vetoing the UN resolution regarding Israeli settlements.” Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey said “I called on the administration to veto the U.N. resolution on Israel. I am disappointed that the U.S. delegation did not use veto power on the Security Council.”

And New York Senator Chuck Schumer, the incoming Senate Democratic leader, in criticizing the U.N. vote stated that he is “Extremely frustrating, disappointing and confounding that the Administration has failed to veto the UN resolution.” As for Kerry’s speech Schumer issued this statement: “While Secretary Kerry mentioned Gaza in his speech, he seems to have forgotten the history of the settlements in Gaza, where the Israeli government forced settlers to withdraw from all settlements and the Palestinians responded by sending rockets from Gaza into Israel...this is something that people of all political stripes in Israel vividly remember...While he may not have intended it, I fear Secretary Kerry, in his speech and action at the UN, has emboldened extremists on both sides."

But the bottom line is that both Kerry’s speech and the, I believe, Obama orchestrated U.N. resolution itself, were nothing but Obama’s laying the groundwork for the Levant to come to fruition as Israel, the ancestral home of the Jewish people since the time of Abraham, would now become an indefensible country...laying the groundwork for a created Palestinian homeland to become a Hamas controlled, Iranian backed terrorist state...with the icing on the cake being the dividing of Jerusalem in two...something we know Benjamin Netanyahu will never allow to happen.

And with rumors now surfacing that John Kerry is actually finalizing a document that the Obama administration hopes will form the basis for a U.N. Security Council resolution that officially recognizes a Palestinian state before his presidency comes to an end on January 20th, there will be no question that it will indeed include both the dividing of the land of Israel and its eternal capital Jerusalem. And this very possibility was fueled on by Kerry’s most vile speech...a speech that actually might have lighted the flames of an all-out war throughout the entirety of the Middle East and maybe even beyond.

And just maybe this has been the goal of Barack HUSSEIN Obama all along for from the fires of hell the Caliphate would then be born.
