For liberals hoping to see Democrats retake the House will be sadly disappointed next year, as House Republicans look pretty solid going into 2016. In January, Stuart Rothenberg had this to say about the chances Democrats might take back the lower chamber:
According to Roll Call, Democrats do have something going
for them that will allow them to at least gain some seats. It’s a
presidential year, Hillary is still the prohibitive favorite for the
Democratic nomination, and that means higher voter turnout.
This means absolutely nothing if Democrats have no one to run in competitive districts, and right now; there’s about a dozen races where they don’t have anyone to challenge the sitting Republican. Case in point, Illinois and New York would be prime pick-up opportunities for Democrats if they could find a sentient being to put on the ballo
…30 seats is a big number. Since 1950, gains that large have occurred six times during midterm elections, when partisan waves often appear, but only twice in presidential years, in 1964 and 1980. And that’s an important reason why the GOP starts as the clear favorite to retain control of the House in 2016.

In Afghanistan, American soldiers are being driven out of the military for taking action to stop Afghan soldiers from raping boys.
Rape is a war crime. It is a war crime to turn a blind eye to soldiers, including allies, engaging in war crimes. Just over two weeks ago, The New York Times reported that American soldiers are being told to ignore sexual abuse of boys in Afghanistan.
Dan Quinn, a Special Forces captain, had his command taken away after saving a boy. The boy was chained to the bed of an Afghan militia commander and used as a sex slave. Quinn beat up the commander and freed the boy. The New York Times also reported on Lance Cpl. Gregory Buckley Jr., who, before he died, told his father that he and other soldiers could hear Afghan police officers sexually abusing boys on their American base. The Obama administration's political appointees and those they put in command ordered the American soldiers to remain silent and do nothing.

Oregon gunman lined up students, singled out Christians and shot them during rampage
Pamela Geller / Atlas ShrugsThe gunman who opened fire at an Oregon community college was forcing people to stand up and state their religion before he began blasting away at them, survivors said Thursday.
Why aren’t they releasing his name? Obama knows something, which is why got out in front of this and made it about gun control.
Pure evil.

Op-ed:
Putin Fills Obama’s Vacuum of Power

"If it looks like a terrorist, if it acts like a terrorist, if it
walks like a terrorist, if it fights like a terrorist, it's a terrorist,
right?"
- Russian Foreign Mister Sergey Lavrov when countering criticism that Russia had bombed Syrian rebels and not ISIS
According to Defense Secretary Ash Carter...an Obama puppet... Russia’s air strikes in Syria will backfire and escalate the Syrian civil war. 'Captain Obvious' may be onto something here, but even a blind squirrel can find a nut. The problem is, Carter has no idea why, exactly, this could cause the civil war there to escalate, but Obama certainly does, but telling the truth would not serve his agenda.
To find the truth, we must first examine just how the situation came to be what it now is, and while Obama and his puppets continue to blame Putin, the truth takes us down a completely different path.
'The Obama Doctrine'...that is what we have always called it...has reared
its ugly head over and over again. That doctrine holds, as its primary
directive, the creation of vacuums of power in some of the most
dangerous places on earth. For example, Libya...where Obama said Muammar
Gaddafi must go and go he did. What happened next...a vacuum of power
was created and islamists...al-Qaeda...moved right in and set up shop
with disastrous results, especially for our diplomats stationed in
Benghazi.
Egypt...Mubarak must go or so said Obama and what happened...the Muslim
Brotherhood headed by Mohamed Morsi, filled the vacuum and the
situation there went from bad to absolutely worse overnight. Obama was
more than happy to arm Morsi with tanks and F-16’s, but the people of
Egypt had other ideas, and after Morsi let it be known that he was about
to scrap the decade’s old Israeli/Egypt peace accord, Egypt’s people
threw Morsi from power and replaced him with Field Marshal Abdel Fattah
Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi...a moderate secular proponent who, just as
his people did, realized that the key to a stable region was a
continued peace and working relationship with Israel.
What did Obama do as soon as his Muslim Brotherhood pals were out of power in Cairo...he canceled the shipments of F-16’s.
Iraq...Obama claims to have 'ended' the Iraqi war and told our enemies,
the islamists, exactly when we would have all our troops out of the
country. Obama also let it be known, for enemy ears to hear, that we
would not leave a residual force, a peace keeping force in-country, thus
telegraphing to our islamist enemies precisely when the vacuum of power
in Iraq would be ripe for their picking and pick they did. As soon as
our military was out of the way, on Obama’s orders, ISIS moved from
their country of origin straight into the Iraqi vacuum to set up shop
and grew as they never could have if we had left residual forces there
to protect the hard won and ever-so-costly peace.
Afghanistan...Obama left, created a vacuum of power, and today the Taliban runs rough-shod over that country.
That brings us to Syria, where Obama first operated a covert gun running op sending weapons he had given al-Qaeda in Libya, those used to oust Gaddafi and create that vacuum of power to the al-Qaeda 'rebels' in Syria...meant to oust al-Assad and create a vacuum of power there. After Benghazi, and with Obama saying that al-Assad, like Mubarak and Gaddafi before him, had to go, Obama set in motion the arming of the 'rebels' whose ranks by then included ISIS, al-Nusra, and other various islamists, along with spending some $500 million U.S. taxpayer dollars to train all of 54 of them...49 of which went and joined ISIS. That’s correct, our hard-earned taxpayer dollars flowed through Obama’s fingers to train our enemies in a war zone. Nice, huh?
Obama’s plan, in accordance with the Obama doctrine, was to create yet
another vacuum of power...this time in Syria...to be filled once again
by islamists but this time, Obama met his match...no... not Vladimir
Putin...Obama’s match is, in fact, Barack HUSSEIN Obama himself.
Let us explain...
In 'leading from behind,' something that neither the United States nor our military was ever designed to do, Obama painted himself, and our nation, into a corner from which there can be no easy escape. He created a vacuum of power alright, but this time, that vacuum was not to be filled by islamists but by Russian military warplanes.
You see, by removing us, the United States from the position of
influence, the force to be respected by our allies and feared by our
enemies, Obama gave Putin, a statist who is trying to rebuild the old
Russian Empire, a prime opportunity and Putin played Obama like a cheap
fiddle. Putin instantly recognized the first signs of the soon-to-be
vacuum when Obama drew a red line against al-Assad and then did nothing
when the Syrian leader crossed it. Putin knew right then that Obama was
so laser-focused on building the caliphate of his dreams that he, Obama,
was completely ignoring his own blind side...his arrogance...and that
he would never see it coming.
Putin, who can put the old Russian Empire back on the map by
strategically positioning himself as the bearer of stability to the
Middle East, has been meeting with Israel’s Netanyahu over the past year
to form an alliance, and by taking on the region’s most destabilizing
factions, the islamists in all their various forms in Syria, he has done
exactly that and filled the vacuum of power Obama created for himself.
Putin’s enemy in Syria is exactly who our enemies should be, the very
'rebels' Obama has backed, armed, and trained, and Putin’s goal is
two-fold. First, to put an end to the expansion of ISIS and second, to
become the region’s new broker of influence.
By taking on the man who 'leads from behind,' by aiming his SU-30s at
Obama’s rebels, the islamist terrorists and their organizations, and by
beating them back, first in Syria and then elsewhere, Putin can
reestablish some sense of stability to the region thus making Russia the
new 'go-to' country for the more secular, more stable governments
there. Of course, that also will put Putin’s Russia in the driver’s seat
when it comes time to be paid back for the protection he is
providing...lower oil prices for Russia, military bases in the region as
a deterrent against future islamist uprisings, and the sale of military
hardware to countries trying to buy a little extra protection, not to
mention gaining a working relationship like he’s never had before with
more friendly intel organizations from the region.
Seizing the moment, and the position held by the United States in the region since the end of WWII, Putin’s bold and calculated move has dire consequences for our position on the world stage as he well knows that if successful, Russia will become a super power once again, but it’s not like we weren’t warned.
“So we try and put pressure on Iran, they fought against crippling
sanctions. We tried to get tough language at the U.N. and action against
the brutality of [President Bashar] al-Assad in Syria, they instead
send attack helicopters to Syria. I mean, Russia has been opposing us in
political circles for some time. Russia is our greatest geopolitical
adversary, meaning that almost everything we try to do globally they try
and oppose. My own view is that Russia has a very different agenda than
ours and that we ought to recognize that, and that we should pursue our
interests, but recognize Russia as having a different course.”
Oh how Obama, his puppets, and his liberal/socialist sheeple scoffed when Mitt Romney said just that on September 10, 2012. Bet they’re not laughing now.
Not laughing now as Romney's forebodings prove that 70-long years of American blood and treasure being spilled and spent in the Middle East was all for nothing, as Vladimir Putin has indeed started rebuilding the Russian Empire...and this lies directly at the feet of Barack HUSSEIN Obama, and nobody can say Romney did not warn us.
A dangerous game was played and now lost as our beloved America has,
courtesy of Obama, been knocked out of first place as the world's
leading super power. And to add insult to injury, the Obama
administration is playing tit-for-tat word-wise with the very man whose
actions have caught both U.S. and Western officials off guard. And to
make matters worse, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, warplanes
targeted eight ISIS positions, including arms, transportation,
communications, and control positions, but according to U.S. Defense
Secretary Ash Carter they were not ISIS positions. Saying, "I want to be
careful about confirming information, but it does appear that they
(Russian air strikes) were in areas where there probably were not ISIL
forces," notice how Carter uses the acronym 'ISIL'...a shout-out by the
administration to the Levant.
And with the upper house of the Russian parliament granting Putin
permission to deploy the Russian air force in Syria, Syrian state-run
news agency SANA reported that Russian warplanes and helicopter gunships
had targeted "ISIS dens" in al-Rastan, Talbiseh and Zafaraniya in Homs
province; Al-Tilol al-Hmer, in Qunaitra province; Aydoun, a village on
the outskirts of the town of Salamiya; Deer Foul between Hama and Homs;
and the outskirts of Salmiya, while the Syrian opposition claimed the
Russian warplanes had hit towns including Zafaraneh, Rastan and
Talbiseh; resulting in the deaths of 36 people, with a number of them
being children. But what Obama and crew refuse to admit is that even if
these were Syrian rebels being hit, the Syrian rebels...most especially
the Free Syrian Army...are nothing but a tentacle of ISIS...a tentacle
fighting al-Assad with U.S. weapons...weapons some of which we know came
through Benghazi.
So with Syria's civil war now ongoing for over four years, with more than 250,000 Syrians killed and and a million injured in this armed conflict...a conflict which began with simple anti-government protests before escalating into a full-scale civil war...and with a number of armed groups...islamists all...fighting to overthrow al-Assad's secular government this fight boils down to the U.S. and its allies Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UK, and France, being in direct opposition to not only Russia but to Iran and Lebanon's Hezbollah movement, which also are supporting al-Assad and his government. And while Obama is insisting that al-Assad must leave office, Putin insists al-Assad remain in power, in fact, Putin insists that the existing state structures in Syria must be “reinforced” as a defense against ISIS, thus setting up a checkmate of sorts between the Russian Bear and our traitor-in chief. And folks, you know that will not serve the U.S. well, especially when Putin has just shown the world Moscow's ability to deploy military force with both speed and efficiency...when Moscow just showed the world that the most powerful military countries in the world...the U.S., the U.K., and the French military...are losing the war against ISIS.
And having Secretary of State John 'Swiftboat' Kerry saying before the U.N. Security Council that the U.S. was prepared to welcome Russian military action in Syria...but only as long as it was only directed against IS (Kerry, like Obama, of course will not say ISIS) or other terrorist groups like al-Qaeda...and that the U.S. would have "grave concerns" if Russia conducted strikes against other groups...is quite laughable as Kerry wants us to believe that Obama is still calling the shots in the Middle East and simply put, he is not, as this game of war as it's now being played is tilted in Russia's favor with Vladimir Putin the one actually calling the shots. And the proof of this is that the Russian government provided but a cursory notice an hour before beginning their military operations, and included in that notice their demand that the U.S. coalition stay out of Syrian airspace. And to deflect Putin's strength away from the Obama's weakness, the administration is claiming that Putin's intervention will do nothing but prolong and complicate the war, but the truth is that Obama's misguided policies have already done that.
Also, remember six key words said by Kerry's Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov when issuing a joint statement on Wednesday...those words being “a democratic secular government in Syria.” Key words that indicate that when all is said and done, unlike Obama, Vladimir Putin has no intention of letting the mullahs call the shots anywhere in the Middle East.
So while Kerry whines that the U.S. and Russia need to hold military talks as soon as possible, Putin is coalescing power as Russia's involvement in Syria continues to grow, and it's Putin's burgeoning strength that complicates Obama's failing region-wide anything but true diplomacy tactics. And know that U.S. military operations will assuredly become affected if for no other reason then Putin's catching Obama off guard, which now forces Obama to maintain a level of co-operation with Putin, especially when our military operations are being hampered by the absence of any reliable allies on the ground, with the exception of the Kurds whom Obama is doing nothing of substance to either aid or support.
And while some say that the real reason for Russia's current military actions in Syria is to protect its own interests there, specifically its air base in Latakia which is close to Israel's northern border (to help protect Israel perhaps as Putin and Netanyhau have had numerous meetings in Moscow at the same time Obama was busy selling Israel out with his very bad Iranian nuclear deal), and its naval facility in Tartus, both of which give Russia a foothold in the Middle East.
But what's forgotten in the midst of what's currently happening is Putin's contempt for islamists...for muslims...in general.
Remember, above all else that Vladimir Putin speaks the language of Russian power well, and that he is not very tolerant of any resistance to Russian interests...and islamic interests are not now nor have they ever been Russian interests. And this feeds into Putin's growing concerns about islam in general after numerous islamist attacks racked his country, leading his government to start imposing measures to control muslim immigration for Vladimir Putin will never allow 'Mother Russia'...unlike Europe...to become the dumping ground for those out to kill us all. And Putin understands well that if muslim battles are kept 'over there'...if stability is reintroduced 'over there' even if it's under a brutal dictator like al-Assad...then there is no reason for 'them' to come here...here in Putin's case being Russia. And if Putin's military actions coupled with his outward political support of the very man Obama opposes helps to keep them 'over there,' at the same time it will allow Vladamir Putin to become the puppet master who pulls the strings of Bashar al-Assad...thus allowing Putin to become the defacto ruler of Syria.
So as Russian air strikes continue ongoing today, and now with the
arrival of Iranian ground troops to serve as Russia's army on the
ground, the question remains is this actually the harbinger of a proxy
war between the U.S. and Russia...between Barack HUSSEIN Obama and
Vladimir Putin as there is no love lost between the two men. Sadly, all
indicators appear that it is, and it's all courtesy of Obama himself
being one of the enemy. But know that Obama is NOT only an enemy to
America, but that his stances go well beyond just America's old Cold War
hatreds with the old Soviet Union for what Obama just does not get is
that Putin is himself not a communist nor does he embrace any of
communism's ideologies. Vladimir Putin is a statist and an embracer of
capitalism as long as that capitalism serves him and Russia well, and
capitalism is needed for him to rebuild the Russian Empire.
Remember too, that capitalism is the antithesis of everything the mullahs stand for and Putin knows that the mullahs in the end must not be allowed to stay in power, and with Putin controlling the Iranian army now in Syria this helps build their allegiance to him which could result in a possible overthrow of the mullahs down the road, and Obama's allegiance has been proven to be with the mullahs and not with any of those wanting to oust them.
So now as we sit and wait to see what will happen...if anything...when U.S. warplanes get in the way of Russian warplanes, the situation in Syria will continue to boil, and the special-ops people Obama has embedded within the 'so-called' rebels will now be put in danger from Russian air strikes and Iranian ground troops, but what does it matter if a few more Americans are killed as you know that Barack HUSSEIN Obama already has a cover-up story in place to serve the ever-growing caliphate well.

Vladimir Putin is a statist and an embracer of
capitalism as long as that capitalism serves him and Russia well, and
capitalism is needed for him to rebuild the Russian Empire.Remember too, that capitalism is the antithesis of everything the mullahs stand for and Putin knows that the mullahs in the end must not be allowed to stay in power, and with Putin controlling the Iranian army now in Syria this helps build their allegiance to him which could result in a possible overthrow of the mullahs down the road, and Obama's allegiance has been proven to be with the mullahs and not with any of those wanting to oust them.

Op-ed:
Trump's Tax Plan...Telling the Gullible What They Want To Hear
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on http://cprworldwidemedia.net/
“I’m the only one who’s honest...I fight like hell to pay as little
as possible. Can I say that? I’m not a politician.”
- Donald Trump's words to the affect that he is actually shirking his taxpayer responsibilities to benefit himself
It's a con job...NOTHING but an early Christmas present for the wealthiest Americans...masking what amounts to just another liberal tax plan...a plan that outlines ways he will supposedly get rid of tax credits and deductions in exchange for cuts in the individual and corporate tax rates...yet Donald Trump's newly rendered tax proposal actually does NOTHING but pander for votes with his promises to close loopholes on the rich, lower overall taxation rates, balance the budget, and 'free-up' if you will more than half of American households from paying any federal tax at all, which, by the way, has already been done by Obama...more on that in a bit. And Trump's doing so while claiming that even with his cutting taxes across the board he can still regrow the American economy at the same time...in other words he's telling the gullible masses the two words they so desperately want to hear...less taxes...but notice he's NOT saying one word of substance about how he would cut out-of-control government spending.
And so Trump CANNOT do what he claims, because you cannot regrow the
economy by cutting tax rates that result in a shrinking of the
all-important tax base while at the same time coupling that with a lower
corporate tax rate as you push for a 'revenue neutral' tax plan...and
know that Trump's tax plan would actually add trillions of dollars to
the national debt, and as a businessman he knows that to be fact. So
something Trump knows, but is hoping that most people do NOT know, is
that a taxing procedure that allows the government to still receive the
same amount of money despite changes in tax laws simply means that the
government is lowering taxes for one group of people while raising taxes
for another group of people...a typical liberal maneuver. And it's
this shifting of the burden that allows the revenue the government
receives to remain unchanged...or in other words 'neutral'... which is
NOT necessarily a good thing, especially when someone will have to to
pay for the half of all American households Trump will have paying NO
taxes at all. Well, guess who will have to pay...once again it will be
the already bled-dry middle class who will be footing the
bill...and Trump knows it...and Trump does NOT care.
And as for Trump's claim that his plan is 'revenue neutral,' lost
revenue still must be made up and his proposal to do so by eliminating
some deductions does have a bit of merit, but whatever merit it has is
actually negated by the fact that elimination of any tax deductions
means a huge increase in taxes for the middle class who rely on those
deductions to help keep their taxes paid to a somewhat manageable level.
And while Trump has ruled out getting rid of deductions for home
mortgage interest as well as for charitable gifts...which together are
worth more than $120 billion a year...home mortgages coupled with soon to rise interest rates actually remain
one of the most costly expenditures people have, and is something that continues
to burden the middle class more than anything else.
Also, knowing that Trump's plan is simply NOT workable without its increasing the deficit even more...and as per scoring by the Tax Foundation (a well-respected nonpartisan source) that increase would add a staggering $10 trillion to the national debt over a decade...meaning that for Trump to get anywhere close to breaking even...as in his afore mentioned 'revenue neutral' promise...would require the possibility of eliminating all deductions for state and local taxes, and maybe even taxing retirement savings in pensions and 401(k)s which would hurt again mostly those in the middle class. Now add in that even if Trump's tax plan could somehow prove to be 'revenue neutral,' and even with his proposed but limited cuts in deductions, it still would NOT bring in enough money to balance the budget... something he said he will do...because at the end of this fiscal year the Congressional Budget Office projects the deficit will be $426 billion. That means that Trump would have to find that much spending to cut to balance America's books and NOTHING he proposes comes even close to cutting the amount of money that's being spent, so Trump is doing NOTHING but trying to repackage a mediocre liberal tax plan at best to look like he's some sort of genius economist...which he is NOT. Remember, there is a huge difference between a businessman and an economist.
And Trump's trying to herald what amounts to a simple numbers shift on
paper, has his proposal to decrease the number of tax rates from the
current seven to four, at 0, 10, 20 and 25 percent respectively, proving
he is just taking from 'Peter to pay Paul.' And how so...because a
change such as the one Trump is proposing would somewhat reduce taxes
and allow some deductions to be kept for middle-income wage earners in
the short term while allowing those who make enough money to fall into
the current top tax bracket and who pay 39.6 percent on income above
$413,000 per year to actually be the ones to benefit the most, simply
because of the decrease in the number of and cap limits to the tax
rates. This means that those individuals would have to pay at most just
25 percent instead of the currently paid 39.6 percent on any income now
set under Trump's plan at above $300,001, which still comes out to way
less than they are paying now. In fact, according to San Diego State
University tax and accounting professor Steve Gill, Americans who make
more than $200,000 a year would actually pay $400 billion to $500
billion less in taxes annually under Trump's plan than under the current
system ...meaning middle-income wage earners will be the ones having to
make up the difference...and again Trump knows that.
But at the heart of Trump's very unrealistic smoke and mirrors tax plan is his wanting all individuals making less than $25,000 and all married couples making less than $50,000 to NOT have to pay any federal taxes at all, which his detractors claim would jump the current number of those paying NO taxes from 36 percent of all American households up to a whopping 50 percent...translating into 75 million people contributing NOT a dime into our tax system. But what Trump does NOT want you to know is that according to the IRS, 76 percent of people who earn $25,000 or less already pay NO federal income taxes, so in reality, Trump isn’t giving anything to most people who earn $25,000 or less that they don’t already have, and eighty-three percent of people who earn less than $30,000 are already NOT paying federal income taxes...Trump is just adding even more perecentage wise to those existed numbers while trying to sound noble as he tells people what they want to hear. In other words NOT only is he adding to the 'sponge' roll he is following Obama's plan to turn us into a pure welfare state with him as head honcho.
And Trump closes his eyes to the fact that as of today the top 1% of wage-earners still pay 24.2% of all taxes with the bottom 20% paying a miserly 0.4% because of the numerous deductions afforded them...deductions like the 'Earned Income Tax Credit.' The EITC is a refundable tax credit for low-to-moderate-income working individuals and couples, which is beneficial to those with children as the amount of their return depends on the recipient's income and number of children. And this is where many of 'the element' love to screw both the government and we taxpayers...as in the more children they have, the more of our hard-earned taxpayer monies they get back. And Trump, of course, has NO plans to do away with the EITC, because it allows him to reel in bleeding heart liberal voters while doing so once again at the expense of mostly the middle-income taxpayer.
And Trump can bloviate all he wants that his plan, "reduces or
eliminates most of the deductions and loopholes available to special
interests and to the very rich,” but the truth is that his plan does
NOTHING of the sort. Saying he would reduce long-term capital gains
taxes (that being the profit realized on the sale of a non-inventory
asset that was purchased at a cost amount that was lower than the amount
realized on the sale) to 20 percent, from the current 24 percent, while
eliminating the marriage penalty tax and the estate tax...or as some
call it 'the death tax'...Trump forgets that both of those taxes benefit
the wealthy more than anybody else. And he himself is a perfect case in
point for while Trump wants to eliminate the estate tax...sounds good
doesn't it...but the reality is that this would allow him and others of
his wealth to pass on their estates to their heirs completely tax-free,
translating for Trump into savings worth billions what with his current
estimated net worth to be more than $10 billion. And while I begrudge NO
one the right to keep what they have earned and firmly believe that the
government has NO right to people's personal estates...again the
biggest winners in this money saver is people like Trump...wealthy
beyond most people's comprehension...and notice how Trump focuses on
this aspect of his tax plan as it's to his personal benefit to do so.
Now before I get into the business aspects of Trump's tax plan, let it
be understood that even if Trump's plan did put the burden on the
wealthy... which it clearly does NOT...the fact is that the wealthy
should NOT have to shoulder the entire tax burden for it's the wealthy
who are this county's main job creators and providers and it's the
wealthy who actual take care of and foot the bill for the poor. And if
the wealthy are forced to surrender vast amounts of their wealth they
cannot create jobs and businesses. And if truth be told, each and every
American should have 'skin in the game' if only to prove they are a
valuable part of our country.
And like many other Trump bloviations that are part of his tax plan, it will be him who will line his pockets as our middle class pockets get turned inside out, because the numbers he is presenting simply do NOT add up. One case in point to consider is that while Trump says he will eliminate the 'carried interest tax preference'...loopholes actually...which benefits a small number of Wall Street hedge fund managers and other investment managers by helping them to keep their taxes low, Trump's wanting to raise taxes on fees such managers collect...fees known as carried interest...would allow these managers to actually see a net tax cut...thanks to Trump's addition of a 14 percent cut in the top rate they would pay. So, any monies he gets from fees will end up being NOTHING but a mere drop in the bucket, and you can be sure Trump's personally used loopholes will remain solidly in place.
Now as to the business/corporate aspects of his tax plan, Trump claims his plan would cap the tax rate for all businesses...NO matter how big or small...at 15 percent, down from the current 35 percent, which he feels would in turn incentivize American corporations who have stashed cash overseas...to a tune of $2.5 trillion...to bring those monies back to the U.S. And Trump wants to impose a one-time 10 percent tax on companies' overseas profits, while limiting write offs for interest expenses. And under his tax plan, 'so-called' partnerships and S-corps would NO longer pay individual tax rates, and corporate loopholes that cater to special interests would also be eliminated Trump says, replaced with a phase-in of a reasonable cap...whose figure also has yet to be announced...on the deductibility of business interest expenses alone. Trump would also continue to tax foreign earnings of U.S. companies but would allow those companies to take a credit for corporate taxes they paid abroad.
But know there are certain critical downsides to the economic aspects of
Trump's plan with the first being that he wants tariffs placed on
foreign imports, the dollar amount of those tariffs has NOT yet been
set...notice how NO tangible dollar amounts of anything Trump proposes
have been set. And while tariffs could possibly make up for some revenue
that would be lost because of a shrinking tax base, it would also raise
the cost of imported goods in the U.S., thus causing economic hardship
to the purchaser, and would probably set off a massive trade war with
China, Japan, and other nations we trade with.
So while Trump and his blind followers sing the praises of his tax plan,
and while certain misguided talking heads do so as well, the truth is
it is a horribly flawed plan, liberal in its concepts, pandering in its
application, and it's a plan that could actually bankrupt this country
because Trump is knowingly decreasing the much-needed tax base while
increasing the tax burden on the individual... especially the middle
class individual who is already taxed beyond belief while taking away
many of their much needed deductions. And add into this the fact that
with Trump being as wealthy as he is...with Trump being born into
wealth...he has NO clue whatsoever what it means to be middle class and
struggling. Instead his plan favors the 'sponges' and gives breaks to
those wealthy like him...taking a page right out of the Keynesian
economic playbook. But what can you expect from a man who is Democratic
in his leanings but who now, when it suits his purposes, dresses in
Republican clothing.
