Leftists Want Professor Fired For Urging Caution During Impeachment Inquiry

George Washington University Law professor Jonathan Turley, a Democrat and self-described liberal, testified before the House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday. Turley did not vote for President Trump and is in no way a staunch defender of the president. Turley simply pointed out that the charges against Trump are rather thin compared to past impeachments, and he cautioned Democrats to let go of their December due date on impeachment and take time to actually prove the allegations they have made against the president.

Pelosi slept on it, and then rushed out first thing Thursday morning to announce that she was moving forward with articles of impeachment. Clearly driven by hate for the president, Pelosi came unglued after a reporter asked if she hated the president.

Former congressman Trey Gowdy angrily denounced the Democrats for what he saw as hypocritical outrage over complaints from the FBI agent who resigned after her anti-Trump texts were uncovered.

He made the comments to Martha MacCallum on her Fox News show Monday evening. Gowdy was responding to Lisa Page complaining that she was made a scapegoat over her texts to former FBI official Peter Strzok that were critical of President Donald Trump.

Facepalm: This Law Professor Summed up the Seriousness of the Democrats' Trump Impeachment Push

Well, yesterday’s impeachment hearing before the House Judiciary Committee went as expected with regards to the hyperbole. House Democrats want President Trump out. They’re not using a shoddy quid pro quo allegation from a July phone call with Ukraine as their basis. Trump supposedly tried to shakedown the Ukrainians into opening a corruption probe into Hunter Biden or risk having military aid withheld. Ukraine got aid. Ukraine got lethal aid.

Ukraine got the aid that Obama refused to give because it might upset Putin, but Trump is the one who’s soft on Russia. The mind spins. Remember this was the party who thought Russia wasn’t a threat, as demonstrated by their mocking of Mitt Romney in 2012. The Left’s inability to grasp history bit them—and the Russophobic rabies that followed has been nothing short of epic.
