Tom Cotton Introduces Bill to Remove Federal Funding of 1619 Project Curriculum

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), has introduced a new bill that would prohibit federal funds from being used to teach the 1619 Project at K-12 schools and school districts. The bill would also render schools that teach the 1619 Project ineligible for purposes of receiving federal professional-development grants.

"The New York Times’s 1619 Project is a racially divisive, revisionist account of history that denies the noble principles of freedom and equality on which our nation was founded. Not a single cent of federal funding should go to indoctrinate young Americans with this left-wing garbage," Sen. Cotton is quoted in a press release.

A week after finding that Trump closed a 10-point gap with Biden to just 3 points, Rasmussen Reports today revealed that Trump has edged up another point as Biden hits a ceiling.

Rand Paul Calls For the Impeachment of Andrew Cuomo Over 'Disastrous' Nursing Home Policy

Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky is calling for the impeachment of Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) following the governor's catastrophic nursing home policy that mixed COVID-19 patients with vulnerable nursing home residents.

"I think Governor Cuomo should be impeached ... for the disastrous decision he made to send patients with coronavirus back to nursing homes and virtually half his people who died were in the nursing homes," Paul said during an interview on Fox News's Rundown podcast.

Gov. Cuomo's policy of sending coronavirus patients into nursing homes is more perplexing given the availability of beds at the Javitz Center, where President Trump approved a temporary hospital to specifically house and treat coronavirus patients. The president also sent a floating hospital packed with emergency supplies to New York Harbor to make additional room.

The experts said that the protests had nothing to do with the spike in COVID cases. I mean, CNN reported on this, so you know there was a 75 percent chance of it being totally wrong. Folks, the same medical experts who peddled this interference were the same clowns who said it was okay to go outside and protest the George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis Police because racism was just as deadly as COVID—insanity—or there was some super special exemption for this sort of thing because these demonstrations, many of which devolved into riots, were out of moral urgency. Also, isn’t it being reported that black Americans are being disproportionally impacted by COVID? Why are you saying it’s fine for mass gatherings to continue?

De Blasio will sue the President to insure the killing and violence continues and that nothing gets in the way of the ongoing destruction of what once was the world’s greatest city.

He will to sue President Trump to stop him from taking action against the criminals who are murdering his citizens. That is because the murderers are his voters. This corruption and lawlessness is what you are voting for if you vote for any Democrat in November. Send the National Guard to New York City under the Insurrection Act, Mr. President.
