FDA recommends pause of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine after blood clot cases

The Food and Drug Administration together with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending a pause in the rollout of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine after several instances of a severe blood clot in recipients.

According to the FDA, there have been six reported cases of the rare and severe type of blood clot in over 6.8 million Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine recipients.

"Right now, these adverse events appear to be extremely rare," the agency said on Twitter. "Treatment of this specific type of blood clot is different from the treatment that might typically be administered. CDC will convene a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) on Wednesday to further review these cases and assess their potential significance. FDA will review that analysis as it also investigates these cases."

If there is one person in liberal America who is hated as much as Donald Trump, it has to be Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. He’s the heir apparent to the Trump coalition. He’s a potential presidential candidate—and media attacks only increase his name ID. He’s handled COVID exceptionally well in his state, especially when it comes to their vaccination plan. He was attacked for vaccinating the elderly first. Yes, that happened because the media knows the deal. They have to destroy him before he clinches any more wins. The problem is that they’ve failed miserably at it. They talk about the facts. Well, DeSantis has been making them eat it for months since the facts favor his view on the pandemic. Right now, Florida has reached another good benchmark: COVID deaths have remained in the single digits (via Palm Beach Post):

Florida sues federal government to allow cruises to sail

Gov. Ron DeSantis in Miami Thursday amped up pressure on the White House to allow cruises to resume, citing “tens of thousands of Floridians who depend on the viability of the cruise industry for their livelihood” as the reason for a lawsuit challenging the Joe Biden administration to rescind a No-Sail Order

“Today is our day to fight for them,” DeSantis said.

He announced that Florida was filing a lawsuit against the federal government and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to demand cruise ships “open immediately.”

He had threatened potential action last month if a pathway wasn’t created to allow the resumption of cruises, and now he and the Attorney General are delivering.

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Queen Elizabeth II’s husband of 73 years, died on Friday at Windsor Castle. He was 99.

The royal family confirmed the Duke of Edinburgh's death on Friday in a statement shared to Twitter.

"It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

During England’s coronavirus lockdown, he had been staying at Windsor Castle, west of London, with the queen, 94.

On Feb. 16, Philip was admitted to a London hospital after feeling unwell. On March 3, he underwent a procedure for a pre-existing heart condition at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital before being transferred back to King Edward VII hospital on March 5 and ultimately released home on March 16.

Confirmed: The Laptop Belongs to Hunter Biden...And the Liberal Media Can Eat a Ton of Crow

They should actually get a frying pan to the face. The liberal media peddled lies and more lies about Hunter Biden and the laptop that exposed the sordid business dealings of the Biden family. It was the 2020 October Surprise that the media depth charged. Why? It’s obvious. It made Joe Biden look bad. It torched the narrative that the former vice president knew nothing about his son’s business dealings. He was in the thick of it, especially on the failed CEFC China Energy deal. China still gave the Biden family millions, however. 

The contents of the laptop were acquired by The New York Post who had the scoop and Big Tech censored them for it. It was a coordinated attempt to keep the image of squeaky clean Joe alive. They muzzled conservative outlets and allowed the liberal media titans to peddle a false narrative about the laptop being Russian disinformation. Former Obama intelligence clowns who also were die-hard believers in the Russian collusion myth threw this into the echo chamber. It was the Democrat-media complex at work.
