Watch Black Voters Annihilate Kamala Harris
Matt Vespa / Townhall Tipsheet

You all know how I feel about the questions regarding Kamala Harris’ race. I think there’s more about her failed and extreme record that can be weaponized against her. Her running mate, Tim Walz, is now engulfed in a stolen valor fiasco. Attacks on her racial identity make me nervous since the GOP isn’t well-known to be aces on messaging. There are more videos of black voters agreeing with Donald Trump’s sentiment that Harris emphasized her Indian heritage more, but, as Trump said, “became black” when her profile increased.

Newsmax took to the streets, where black voters said things that Democrats certainly don’t want you to hear. From trashing Kamala Harris for her failed record, especially on immigration, to being highly skeptical of the liberal media talking points that have framed Trump’s positions as racist, these voters won’t be had by the Democrats’ gaslighting. Tim Walz’s ‘Stolen Valor’ Fiasco Is Quickly Becoming a Disqualifying Spectacle
Matt Vespa / Townhall Tipsheet

Who oversaw the vetting for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz because this is a disqualifying disaster? It’s one of the risks when you have a do-over candidacy. Reportedly, former Attorney General Eric Holder quarterbacked this effort, but the issue surrounding Walz’s military service isn’t going away, as multiple lies have been uncovered. Either the Democrats knew and didn’t care, or they didn’t know, but it’s irrelevant. Either outcome is inexcusable.

It goes beyond the initial story, which was bad enough: Walz bolted from the National Guard in 2005, just before his unit was about to deploy to Iraq. He did this to run for Congress. Then, he claimed he was a veteran of the Afghanistan War, which was a lie, said he deployed to Iraq, another lie, and later claimed he held a rank which he did not have upon retirement. There’s even a video from 2009 of a veteran confronting Walz on this matter. It's an issue big enough for The Washington Post to devote a piece on Mr. Walz’s military record: Read entire article and see Xs and videos here.
'Never went to war': Walz ripped for saying he wants to ban guns he 'carried in war'
Minnesota Gov Tim Walz has previously acknowledged he never saw combat while in Army National Guard

Vice President Harris' running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, said he wants to ban guns he "carried in war" though he never saw combat during his time in the Army National Guard and left the service after being informed that his unit would be deployed to Iraq.

"I spent 25 years in the Army, and I hunt. I’ve been voting for commonsense legislation that protects the Second Amendment, but we can do background checks. We can research the impacts of gun violence. We can make sure those weapons of war that I carried in war are only carried in war," Walz said in a video posted by the Harris campaign on Tuesday.

Walz joined the Army National Guard in 1981, retiring in 2005 from the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery, where he rose to the rank of command sergeant major. Across his more than two decades of service, he never saw combat, according to an interview with Minnesota Public Radio in 2018. 'Squad' Rep Cori Bush loses highly contentious primary against pro-Israel Democrat

Voters in Missouri's bright blue 1st Congressional District served a sharp rebuke of the left’s progressive wing on Tuesday, denying Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., a third term.

The "Squad" Democrat lost her primary to St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell, a more moderate candidate who had the backing of pro-Israel groups that spent millions to unseat Bush over her criticism of the Jewish nation.

She’s the second member of her ultra-progressive group to lose their primary after Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., similarly lost to a moderate pro-Israel Democrat.

Both are part of a growing faction of Democrats who have been critical of the U.S.’s traditionally close ties to Israel, a divide that has been on stark display since Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack last year.

Tim Walz, Kamala Harris' new right-hand man, echoes left-wing crime policies
Harris' VP pick deepens concerns about Democrats' crime policy
Michael Ruiz / Fox News

With Minneapolis burning during riots over the death of George Floyd in police custody in 2020, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz played a central role in the debate over policing and crime in the United States at the time.

Anti-police protests quickly spread from Minneapolis to the rest of the country. He was criticized for dragging his feet in helping city police quell the unrest, withholding the National Guard for days. Years later, he finally called rising crime "unacceptable" and stepped up state support for the embattled city. Then Vice President Harris, the Democrats' 2024 presidential nominee, named Walz as her running mate on Tuesday.

Ohio Sen. JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential candidate and running mate of former President Trump, poked at Walz's 2020 record Tuesday, calling his addition to the Democrat ticket "an interesting tag team."
