Boehner’s Speakership in Trouble After House’s Vote

Last night, the House approved the Senate’s deal to avert the fiscal cliff. The House voted 257-167 with only 85 Republicans voting in favor.
 
With increased stimulus spending coupled with no real spending cuts, the deal serves as an embarrassing loss for Republicans as the deal raises taxes and does nothing to cut spending in any meaningful way. Because of this, Republican leadership may be up for grabs.

Last night’s vote comes only weeks after Speaker of the House John Boehner’s power-grab, where he purged conservative leaders from financial committee positions to eliminate opposition. Boehner’s “Plan B” was never brought to a vote due to lack of support from conservative House members. Now that a deal has been passed that serves as a defeat for Republicans, Boehner’s position is in trouble.

Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy broke with Boehner and Paul Ryan and publicly denounced the bill. The willingness to so publicly break with Boehner perhaps signals a potential challenge for the Speakership, perhaps as early as Thursday, when the new Congress convenes.

American Majority Action spokesman Ron Meyer has claimed that enough Republican leaders have met to unseat Boehner. He stated,

“At least 20 House Republican members have gotten together, discussed this and want to unseat Speaker Boehner–and are willing to do what it takes to do it. That’s more than enough to get the job done, but the one problem these guys face is they need a leader to coalesce behind.”

Meyer also claimed that conservative leaders are considering backing Cantor for the job.

In the aftermath of November’s elections, it was widely claimed that “elections have consequences.” While this is true, with Boehner’s leadership being called into serious question and his position in jeopardy, it appears that votes have consequences as well.

NEXT 9/11: IRAN'S DEATH SQUAD IS HERE

Iran has infiltrated a team of Quds Force terrorist leaders into the United States to attack from within in 2013, according to a source.

The source within the office of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Islamic regime, said the team is to create instability in America through terrorism should the U.S. fail to accept the regime’s illicit nuclear program, increase sanctions, confront Iran militarily or intervene in the Syrian civil war.

Members of the team, no more than 10 Quds Force officers, each lead cells totaling about 50 terrorists already in the U.S.

The source is risking his life not only to reveal the terror operation but to warn that Iran is pursuing its nuclear bomb program around the clock from several secret sites.

Details of the terror plot, meant to disrupt the West, have been passed on to U.S. officials, who are taking countermeasures.

The source said the team members, unlike the alleged Iranian operative Manssor Arbabsiar, who was arrested in a plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador in Washington, D.C. in 2011, are highly trained and sophisticated.

The team leaders are all senior Revolutionary Guard officers who were recruited for this specific mission nine years ago on the recommendation of the Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, and with the approval of security advisers to Khamenei.

Some of these individuals held high-level posts before joining the mission. One served as the security officer in the supreme leader’s office, another was a member of the special forces for intelligence and security in charge of protecting regime officials, two were in charge of security of ground and air transportation, another was a commander of recruiting assets, and others had experience in security and intelligence.

Most of the team members have been in America for a year; a few were successfully placed here about five years ago.

The families of the team members are financially supported by the regime, but team members are financially supported through various means as they do not maintain any contact with Iran.

Two wealthy Iranian businessmen in Iran with ties in Europe are used to finance the team; one routinely travels to the U.S.

One well-established Iranian businessman in America who often travels to Iran was approached by the Quds Force for his collaboration in return for incentives in Iran. He acts as the sponsor of the team, transfers cash to team members, hosts meetings at his residence and passes on information from the regime to the team. He also takes care of any legal issues, leases, contracts and such.

Information and pictures of potential targets have been submitted for Khamenei’s approval, the source added. They include high-voltage towers to create blackouts, cell towers, water supplies, public transportation and various other buildings belonging to the Defense Department and military.

The source said the planned attacks could be greater than what happened on 9/11 and that in the last phase of the attack, al-Qaida operatives will also be involved.

After Osama bin Laden’s death, Khamenei has taken a greater role in leadership on the collaboration with al-Qaida, and according to the source, four top al-Qaida commanders visit Khamenei every two months.

The plan is that if by next six months America does not accept Iran’s nuclear program and either increases sanctions or a military confrontation occurs, the assets have been ordered to carry out their mission. The regime feels it must act by then because current sanctions, which have already had a serious effect on Iran’s economy, could spark civilian rioting.

As reported in the Washington Times on Oct. 5, a secret memo by the regime’s Intelligence Ministry warned that deteriorating economic conditions from international sanctions had greatly increased the possibility of an uprising and urged them to take appropriate action.

The United States has set a March deadline for Iran to comply with International Atomic Energy Agency demands on its nuclear program or face much harsher measures.

The regime believes, the source said, that if the U.S. fails to accept Iran’s nuclear program, Israel will be much more likely to attack its nuclear facilities and military installations.

Previously an exclusive report in WND revealed that terror cells of the Islamic regime were on high alert to attack targets in America. Gen. Massoud Jazayeri, deputy head of Iran’s armed forces, stated that, “In the face of any attack, we will have a crushing response. In that case, we will not only act in the boundaries of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, no place in America will be safe from our attacks.”

Iranian officials also see the possible overthrow of Syrian President Bashar Assad as a red line, and with the looming confrontation over their nuclear program, they have taken several measures, one of which is to retaliate against Israel through several fronts and in coordination with their proxies, such as Hezbollah. As reported in WND, 170 ballistic missiles have been pre-targeted on Tel Aviv alone, some with biological warheads. And an attack on America from within would create economic havoc on the fragile U.S. economy.

The source warned that the IAEA has no idea that the Islamic regime is actively working on its nuclear bomb program at secret sites, that it has even enriched uranium to over 90 percent – weaponization grade – and that with the help of North Korea, it is working on a plutonium bomb.

The assumption that Iran is far from accomplishing its goals is a hoax, the source warned. The regime next year will make operational intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the U.S. Armed with nuclear weapons, it would be too late for the world, he said.

As 2012 ends all I can say is good riddance to one hell of a bad year...and hello to yet another equally bad year.  After all, Barack HUSSEIN Obama is still president.

And while we all know about the horrors of this past year, including Benghazi, an election won on voter fraud and bribery, the Batman Massacre, the Newtown Massacre, Hillary's boo-boo, Superstorm Sandy, etc...there are certain key words being regurgitated time and again by the msm that go hand-in-hand with these events...things I am sick and tired of hearing about and NEVER want to hear again but unfortunately I know I will.

Let me give you my top 7 most obvious never want to hear again list:

• OBAMA...Mr. Narcissism himself...I am so sick of hearing this man's name every time I turn on the radio or seeing his smirking face every time I turn on the television NOT just because of his obvious stealing of this election, but also because he is an out and out traitor to our country and all we hold dear.  Arrest, try, and convict this traitor already and be done with it for while we all know what he's done to this country (exploding our economy and freedoms from within), we also know that he and he alone got us involved in Libya (by going against the Wars Powers Clause in our Constitution), thus kick-starting the so-called Arab Spring which ignited the entire Middle East.  But this has turned into an Arab nightmare as OBAMA'S bloviatings that an Arab Spring would lead to democracy throughout the region has been proven anything but as the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic regimes are now in control.   And this in turn led into Benghazi...and Benghazi turned into nothing but a series of...
  
  
• COVER-UPS...Cover-ups of the worst order as I believe Benghazi was Obama's operation for running guns and weapons to the Muslim Brotherhood, and maybe even to al-Qaeda, in Syria. Remember, Obama sides with our enemies every chance he gets...and Stevens found out about the weapons running and had to be silenced.  This was NEVER about a ridiculous YouTube video but was about the best way to COVER-UP Obama's involvement in aiding and abetting the enemy (a treasonable offense), and he used (or ordered) any and everyone to do so, including the pathetic Susan Rice to our ever-loving (gag) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton...which leads me to...
  
  
• HILLARY...the queen of subterfuge...HILLARY the original fall guy for Obama in all matters Benghazi...the woman who said she can't wait to testify is now 'conveniently' missing.  First it was a virus which turned into dehydration which caused her to fall and get a concussion (which she did NOT go to the hospital for) which now has turned into blood clots...geeesh, it doesn't end does it.  Who would have thought a simple stomach virus would end up as blood clots on the brain...only in HILLARYLAND could such nonsense come to fruition...all so she wouldn't have to testify or at least NOT testify until all her lies could be put in place, remembered, and said with a straight face.  It's time to throw HILLARY in a wheelchair, dragging her IV pole behind her, holding some bottled water on her lap (dehydrated remember, wink, wink), and wheel her lying butt into those hearings and keep her there until she cracks.  After all, she and her buddy Obama are responsible for the murders of four Americans...but poor HILLARY has a boo-boo and I bet she's glad she doesn't have ObamaCare (she's exempt of course)...which leads me into...

OBAMACARE complete with rationed medicine, death panels, forced to pay for abortions...you name it it's in there and none of it is good.  It's OBAMACARE for 'We the People' but Congress knowing it sucked exempted themselves. Typical politicians but at least the 47% like it, after all it was done for them to buy and pay for their votes. Ah, the wonderful 47%...
  
  
• 47%...a number ingrained in my brain that I wish wasn't.  The infamous 47% that were the ones that determined this election because they let themselves be bought with promises of even more freebies and handouts.  The 47%...the 'sponges' of society whose sole existence is all about 'me, myself, and I'...as in 'I want what you have but I'll be damned if I'll work for it'...Obama's buddies who soon will be in for a rude awakening when the money runs out and their free stuff goes bye-bye.
  
  
• FISCAL CLIFF...a made-up word by the msm to scare us into believing our country will go broke if Obama doesn't get his way. Hate to tell Obama and crew but there is NO such thing as a FISCAL CLIFF as we went broke back in 1933 when FDR declared us bankrupt and insolvent causing the government to have to start borrowing from foreign countries, resulting in us racking up a tremendous amount of IOUs.  And that's what the supposed FISCAL CLIFF really is about...taxing 'We the People' to pay down the interest on the IOUs coming due.  After all, in Obamanation Obama gets to spend like a drunken sailor and 'We the People' have to foot the bill for it.  But all this FISCAL CLIFF bloviations kept us from focusing on what's waiting for us in the wings (or so Obama and the msm thinks)...
  
  
• GUN CONTROL...how I hate those words as they go against everything our Constitution stands for...and are the antithesis of our Second Amendment...our right to bear arms.  GUN CONTROL is NOT about guns but is about control...total control over 'We the People' so we can't fight back against a tyrannical government run amok.  GUN CONTROL...because madmen took firearms and slaughtered innocents...like controlling who has guns will ever stop that from happening...the bad guys will always find a way to get them.   You know it, I know it, and the liberal Democrats who are pushing this know it.  And because we know it we know the bottom line...they want to repeal the Second Amendment to take away our guns so they can keep us in line.  From my cold dead hands...from my cold dead hands...

So those are my top 7 things I really wish I didn't have to hear anymore about...see anymore about...or have to think anymore about...but I know I will as they will NOT only NOT go away but will be said and talked about even more...after all, it's now us against 'them.'

Senator Rubio’s ‘Gang of Eight’ Votes Against ‘Fiscal Cliff’ Compromise

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio was one of eight Senators that voted against a compromise on the looming economic ‘fiscal cliff.’ Among those senators who joined Rubio were Republicans Rand Paul, Richard Shelby, Chuck Grassley, Mike Lee, as well as Democrats Michael Bennet and Tom Carper.

Rubio and his ‘gang of eight’ need to be commended from ‘bucking’ his squishing establishment Republican leadership in the Senate, after they bowed down to President Obama and compromising principles, again.

Senator Rubio is correct in stating that “Thousands of small businesses, not just the wealthy, will now be forced to decide how they’ll pay this new tax and, chances are, they’ll do it by firing employees, cutting back their hours and benefits, or postponing the new hire they were looking to make.”

Taxes would jump by $2,400 on average for families with incomes of $50,000 to $75,000, according to a study by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center. Because consumers would get less of their paychecks to spend, businesses and jobs would suffer.

At the same time, Americans would feel cuts in government services; some federal workers would be furloughed or laid off and companies would lose government business. The nation would lose up to 3.4 million jobs, the Congressional Budget Office predicts. -Fox News

Now its up to the Republican control House of Representatives to vote on this measure-many expect the Republicans to squash it the compromise, but stranger things have happened, liked today’s 89-8 vote in the Senate to approve it.

This Wednesday’s opening bell on Wall Street could signal a very bad beginning of the year  for stocks. Stocks are sure to drop. Question will be, how far will they drop, and how for how long?

Here is Senator Rubio’s statement on his ‘Nay’ vote on the fiscal cliff compromise-

“I appreciate all the hard word that went into avoiding the so-called ‘fiscal cliff’. I especially commend Senator McConnell’s efforts to make the best out of a bad situation. Nevertheless, I cannot support the arrangement they have arrived at. Rapid economic growth and spending reforms are the only way out of the real fiscal cliff our nation is facing. But rapid economic growth and job creation will be made more difficult under the deal reached here in Washington.

An Open Letter from a Marine to the DISHONORABLE Senator Dianne Feinstein:

Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government's right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma'am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.   

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.

I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

We, the people, deserve better than you.

Too Expensive to Die

The end is near.  Some kind of decision will be made on the fiscal cliff mess but it will more than likely be nothing substantial.  Knowing Congress, it will be a shot of morphine to ease our pain as we continue to be on death watch.

Speaking of death watch; no one other than financial gurus and geeks are talking about the impending rise in the estate tax.  Is no one paying attention to this blatant theft of savings and assets that have already been taxed once?

If nothing is done, on January 1, 2013 the estate tax will cripple more than what they are calling the “evil” rich.  It will reach down and squeeze the life out of working families who have managed to save money and assets for their heirs.  

Right now the combined lifetime and gift tax exemption is $5.12 million per person and the estate tax is 35%. 

If nothing is resolved the combined estate and gift tax exemption drops to $1 million and the estate tax rises to 55%.  That may not sound like a big deal to some people, but in reality it affects more than you know.  Family farms will be hit hard.  Many people who have homes in the more expensive cities and states will be hit by this tax.  Let’s say that you have a home and some stocks, bonds or cash that you have sacrificed to save and put away for your children; if you die at the stroke of midnight your hard earned (already taxed) money will be confiscated by the government at the rate of 55% over a $1 million dollar exemption.

Democrat Senator from Montana, Max Baucus has sided with the Republicans on this issue because of the impact this rate would have on family owned farms.  He has seen how many families have had to sell family owned properties that have been passed down from generation to generation.  One in ten families are predicted to pay this increase in 2013 if nothing is done and these estates involve asset-rich, cash poor farms.

There could be a compromise where we go back to the tax rates of 2009.  That would be a 45% rate with a $3.5 million exemption.  Vick Patten, former President of the American Family Institute says “America’s family businesses and family farms and family ranches produce 63 percent of all the jobs in America.  When they are forced into a situation where, at the end of each generation, the government confiscates half of or---in terms of what they propose on Jan. 1, more than half of all their capital---this has very, very, very detrimental effects on the survival of the business.”  Even with a compromise it would still affect too many families and would be a drop in the bucket toward solving this financial crisis. 

So the bottom line is, don’t die.  It is too expensive. The greedy government wants everything that you have worked for and saved during your lifetime.  They feel “entitled” to your assets and if you die they have the right to confiscate them. Why should you have the right to leave your hard earned money to your children or whomever you wish?  Obama will continue to push his “class warfare” agenda until there is no other class than the poor.  They will grab and steal from those who have contributed their blood, sweat and tears to build businesses and create prosperity.  With the confiscation of estates and assets after you die where will the incentive be to even create prosperity in the first place?  Is it just an exercise to see how much money you can make for the government?

In my opinion the estate tax should be abolished. If you work and pay taxes over your lifetime, you have the right as an American to distribute your assets after your death to whomever you choose without the sticky fingers of government stealing from you and your family.
