The Biden Administration Is Not Out of Hot Water Just Yet Over Afghanistan

Members of the Biden administration remain in hot water over the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Calls demanding that President Joe Biden resign came pouring in, especially after 13 U.S. service members died in Afghanistan due to a terrorist attack at the Kabul airport. One such House member who called on Biden to resign, Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC), on Thursday also sent a letter calling on Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley to resign.

The sternly worded letter calls to mind, with original emphasis, that Rice called on the president to resign as well. "President Biden told the American people just a few weeks ago that the ‘buck stops with him.’ I agree, and he should resign. But we all know that will not happen. Therefore, the question I wanted to ask in each of your briefings (before your urgent departure) was: When will you three resign?" He goes on to later ask in the letter to "Please do the honorable thing." 

Rice's letter also called out the administration in other memorable ways:

But it isn’t what you think. The diner was forced to close early yesterday because it was SOLD OUT of food following a huge surge in customers because of the new policy.

The Florida diner where the owner posted a sign (below) turning away Joe Biden voters after 13 US troops were killed in Afghanistan has had to shut its doors – because so many people called to buy meals for veterans that the small business ran out of food. 

 

‘I’ve gotten so many people calling me from all over the world, from Europe, trying to purchase meals for veterans, which I still haven’t been able to organize,’ said Angie Ugarte, who posted the sign in the window of the DeBary Diner in the central Florida city of DeBary.

‘I think that the veterans will be fed for the rest of the year at the rate I’m getting donations.’

The business was temporarily closed Thursday due to the overwhelming amount of donations and diners the day before. ‘Hallelujah!’ a patron said upon noticing the diner had sold out of food following Wednesday’s rush of support.

NATO seeks more Afghan evacuations, vows to hold Taliban to promises

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on Friday that the alliance would seek to evacuate more vulnerable Afghans and maintain contact with the Taliban, but that Afghanistan's new rulers would have to show themselves worthy of aid and recognition.

NATO member Turkey, which had run Kabul airport for six years, has offered to help keep it operational now that U.S. and other NATO troops have left, and Qatar has offered to help.

Stoltenberg said he had discussed the issue with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and the Qatari foreign minister.

He also said many Afghans who has cooperated with international forces and could therefore be at risk from the Taliban remained in Afghanistan.

There's Been a Media Blackout on One Major Afghanistan Story

Earlier this week, Reuters reported on a bombshell phone call between President Biden and his Afghan counterpart in July, where the commander in chief urged President Ashraf Ghani to focus on the “perception” problem around the world about the Taliban’s strength.

Biden told Ghani “there is a need, whether it is true or not … to project a different picture.” He went so far as to offer aid if Ghani could make this happen. 

Conservatives were quick to point out that former President Trump was impeached over a phone call, and this conversation also "sounds like an impeachable phone call."

Perhaps that’s why there has reportedly been a complete media blackout by CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Biden's America-Last Administration: U.S. Aid Will Keep Flowing to Taliban

The war is lost, but no one is going to be held accountable and the same blinkered woke dopes are in charge. In fact, the one whose very name is Blinken, the secretary of State, explained Monday how the Taliban could gain the “international legitimacy and support” that is obviously such a high priority for them, and explained that even if it didn’t become the Leftist woke paradise of Blinken’s imagining, the American money will still flow. Of course. It always does.

Blinken claimed risibly that henceforth, the America-Last administration of Biden’s handlers would be guided by a concern for something that has never appeared on its list of priorities up to now: “our vital national interests.” Yeah, sure, Tony. Pull my other leg. More plausibly, Blinken assured the world that despite the last few weeks of catastrophe and humiliation, the American taxpayers will still be filling their cars with $4-a-gallon gasoline and driving to their pathetic nine-to-fives so that the elites can demonstrate their concern for the people of Afghanistan: “If we can work in the new Afghan government in a way that helps secure those interests … and in a way that brings greater stability to the country and the region, and that protects the gains of the last two decades, we will do it.”
