Op-ed:
Iran and Hezbollah...one deadly combination
By: Diane Sori

The situation in Syria is extremely serious as Bashar al-Assad’s government is losing to the rebels and he just might follow through on his threat to use chemical weapons against his own people as a last stand tactic.  While this is indeed truly troubling and sad, personally I am more concerned with what could happen to Israel if the Muslim Brotherhood takes over Syria.

Israel is surrounded on all sides by those out to destroy her and only the rein that these dictators had on the Islamic extremists have kept all hell from breaking loose.  Yet now as the dictators fall one by one in a supposed Arab Spring, which is really an Arab Nightmare, one of Israel’s sworn enemies is once again coming into the forefront...Hezbollah, the long arm of Iran.

Israel has undeniable information that Hezbollah, in conjunction with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, carried out the Burgas terror attack on Wednesday that killed five Israeli tourists.  And now a senior American official has confirmed Israel’s allegations that the suicide bomber (who carried a phony Michigan driver’s license) was a member of a Hezbollah cell.

Iran and Hezbollah...a deadly combination.

And here’s the kicker, Iran is denying the Hezbollah terrorist operated under their orders while at the same time saying that the attack was in retaliation for the assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists by Israeli agents, which they can’t prove by the way, wink, wink.

The thing is that we know that Iran and Hezbollah work together when need be and go their separate ways when need be.  Well this time they did in fact work together.  Iran is trying to straddle both sides of the fence and those who do so usually end up falling off that fence altogether.

And with Israel saying that it will hit terror cells around the world in retaliation, serious altercations will soon happen as Benjamin Netanyahu rightly vowed to hunt down those involved and “exact a heavy price from them.”

And we all know that Netanyahu is a man of his word.

Now add into the mix that Syria most probably will fall to the rebel-backed Muslim Brotherhood, and with Hezbollah suddenly getting more and more embolden, Israel is in serious trouble as they know it’s way past time for them to take out Iran and end the constant threats against them once and for all.

"The murderous Iranian terror continues to target innocent people. Iranian terror is spreading worldwide...Israel will react to it with force," Netanyahu said.

And he's right.  Israel has shown remarkable restraint over the years in how they handle retaliation for acts of terrorism committed against its citizens.  Israel lives under the threat of war daily, something that we here in America cannot even begin to imagine.  So with Arab country after Arab country falling to Israel’s sworn enemies it’s time that we untied Israel’s hands and let them do what they need to do to assure their survival as both a nation and as a people.

But here is the problem...Barack Hussein Obama currently has Israel’s hands tied and he wants to keep them tied as he sides with Israel’s enemies.  However, if he sees that untying Israel’s hands will serve his re-election bid then he’ll untie them but keep the tie around his finger...or so he thinks.

There will come a point, and I think that point has now been reached, where Israel will cut those ties themselves and go it alone not only to assure their survival but to assure that our back-stabbing, muslim loving president, Barack Hussein Obama, does NOT use them for his own political expediency.

Benjamin Netanyahu not only has a nation to save but a score to settle with the man that is NO friend of Israel and that payback will for sure be a bitch!

  1. I have no doubt Obamao is attempting to orchestrate the current status between Israel and Iran either way to promote his political agenda...namely re-election. If Israel takes out whatever they can in Iran, Obamao will blame Israel for instigating a conflict, but if he can take it out first he will proclaim victory and increase his chances for another term.. I'm for Israel getting there first without any notification to potus.
