AFDI: Fighting the Fight for Freedom
The consequences of misinformation and dissembling on jihad, sharia and Islam are manifest on the eve of September 11th.
Tonight,
the President spoke about Syria and never addressed the key question:
was Assad really responsible for the chemical attack in Syria, and would
we be doing anything but helping al-Qaeda by intervening militarily?
In
the last few days we’ve seen several examples of appalling ignorance at
high levels: a leading Senator thinking “Allahu akbar” means “Thank
God,” a Secretary of State thinking those “Allahu akbar”-shouting Syrian
jihadists are “secular,” and a President of the United States rushing
in to war with Syria despite abundant evidence that the rebels we’d be
aiding are al-Qaeda.
America
siding with jihadists -- this shows why education now is critical. At
the American Freedom Defense Initiative, we provide that education. We
force the mainstream media to shed light on the truth about Islam and
jihad in ways they ordinarily never would. We’re bringing the truth to
the American people that the media and the Obama government won’t tell –
and putting the Islamic supremacist Muslim Brotherhood groups in the
U.S. on the defensive in ways no ones else dares do.
One
way we’re doing this is with our legal fight in Seattle. The FBI
recently ran an ad on Seattle buses depicting the 15 Most Wanted
Terrorists – but since all are Muslim, Muslim groups demanded that the
ad be taken down as “racist.” The FBI and Seattle Transit immediately
complied. So now we’re doing the FBI’s job for them, and trying to
restore the ad.

But Seattle Transit turned us down – now they say the ad is “demeaning.” So we’ve initiated another lawsuit on free speech grounds.
After all, why would peaceful Muslims be offended by depictions of the
world’s worst terrorists unless they sympathized with them? And we’ve submitted a Freedom of Information Act request asking for all communications between the FBI and Seattle Transit –
we expect to see a sorry record of capitulation to Islamic
supremacists, and we’re going to hold them accountable for that in the
court of public opinion.

Seattle
is also the site of a recent free speech victory: “Palestinians” ran
ads accusing Israel of stealing “Palestinian” territory, but we
countered with ads that told the truth that “Palestinian” leaders have
said that a “Palestinian” state would be entirely off-limits to Jews.
Seattle Transit didn’t want to run it and made us submit an abundance of
documentation (which the “Palestinian” hate ad sponsors had never had
to do), but we fought and we won. We countered the vicious anti-Semitic
“Palestinian” campaign with the truth.
We’re also fighting a legal battle against our unjust ban from Britain.
The British government uncritically accepted information about us given
them by Leftists and Islamic supremacists – and we’re not taking it
lying down. The Home Secretary responds, Letter Treasury Solicitor (here).
We’re working on a full appeal, and have contracted with British legal
help. With the British government letting in a steady stream of Islamic
jihad leaders who preach blood and murder, to bar us for speaking the
truth about jihad and calling for defense of equality of rights for all
shows how far Britain is sunk. We could give up and leave them to their
fate. But we’re committed to the fight for freedom: the fight against
the ban is just about us, but about whether voices of freedom will still
be allowed to be heard in Britain. We say: They must be.
And in yet another legal battle, we’re challenging the U.S. Trademark Office’s denial of a trademark for our “Stop Islamization of America” name.
The Trademark Office said the name denigrated all Muslims – a claim
rendered ridiculous by the Muslims valiantly taking to the streets and
fighting against Islamization in Egypt, toppling the Muslim Brotherhood
regime there. We’re appealing their denial. Several news agencies
recently covered our appeal, bringing previously unheard-of media
attention to the all-important concept of Islamization.
When we’re not preparing and reviewing legal briefs, we’ve been planning for a Memorial and Press Conference at Ground Zero on September 11, 2013 the twelfth anniversary of the 9/11 jihad terror attacks at 1PM at the southwest corner of Zuccotti Park, at Church and Cedar streets in lower Manhattan. Get event details at AFDI911.com
Robert
Spencer and I will be hosting, and featured speakers will be 9/11
family member Nelly Braginsky, 9/11 first responder Alan T. DeVona,
Sudanese human rights activist Simon Deng, and Coptic Christian human
rights activist Ashraf Ramelah. We’ll be focusing on the outrageous
anti-American goings-on at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and the need to
tell the truth about Islamic jihad both at that Museum and in the
public square – where the truth about Muslim persecution of non-Muslims
in Egypt, Sudan and elsewhere is still largely ignored.
We can’t do any of this without your help.
We don’t have a large staff – or any staff at all. We don’t have the
sumptuous offices other organizations have. We don’t have a huge base of
well-heeled donors. All we have is the truth – and you. Please help us
follow through these initiatives and keep on fighting for freedom into
2014. You can make a tax-deductible contribution via Paypal to americanfreedomdefense@aol.com or send your check to:
