I went back and read some of Diane’s comments she made concerning religion and politics. Those two who cast stones at Diane for her call for party unity was typical of a wing of the Republican Party; it is why Obama is president now!
The man poster’s reluctance to vote for a Mormon was generally what got Obama elected. It was people of his ilk that got us into the mess we are in today. Diane admitted that at times she did not get the perfect candidate, but still supported the party. Of course, Romney respected the other candidate’s religion and did not cast aspersions on what they believed.
In 2008, John McCain won the Republican Primary; I knew he would lose. Sarah Palin helped me support McCain. Mitt Romney threw ALL his support to McCain after it was evident that McCain was going to be the winner. Is that what happened in 2012? No…The conservatives whined like babies which hurt ANY chances of Mitt Romney wining over a few voters. The constant mantra of Romneycare and Obamacare being the same thing as espoused by Mark Levin helped to bury Romney.
Friends…Romney would have KILLED Obamacare! I can guarantee you this: if Romney said he would do it; he WOULD have done it! You people are the losers; and Americans are the losers; and our posterity is the loser because you couldn’t put down your bigotry for a minute to vote for a decent human being; a man with a family, who didn’t cheat on his wife, and who NEVER lied! Instead of voting for the Mormon they did not know, they voted for the Muslim they did know…and this is the result.
YOU who did that, who did not vote OWN Obama! I voted AGAINST Obama with an honorable candidate.
You say Obamacare and Romneycare are the same thing! I am now calling you a liar! One had over 2000 pages and the other had 70 pages…how are they the same…please explain THAT MR. Levin! Did it ever occur to you once that Romney served in a liberal state and the people of that state WANTED Romney care? Romney care did not have any kind of employers mandate or penalty (Obamacare did). THEY WERE NOT THE SAME YOU DUNCE! YET…you preached that NIGHT, after NIGHT, after NIGHT!
How is all the hope and change working out for you people who could not vote for a Mormon? How about those who didn’t want Romney because Romney care are like Obama care (which they weren’t)
