California Becomes ‘Sanctuary State’ With Gov. Jerry Brown Signature

California is officially a sanctuary state, thanks to the recent signature of Gov. Jerry Brown, a Democrat, of course, on the “California Values Act.”

The measure, to take effect in January, prohibits local law enforcement from asking immigrants about their status.

It also bans police from complying with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

What an amnesty disaster for the nation.

Senate Bill 54 will go into effect in January 2018. Brown signed the bill entitled the “California Values Act” and released a signing statement. Brown explained what the bill does and does not do.
