'Brutally savage’ Russian airstrike kills more than 20 people in eastern Ukraine, Zelensky says

More than 20 people were killed in a “brutally savage” Russian airstrike
on a village in eastern Ukraine on Tuesday — just as pensions were
being doled out to citizens, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky
said.
The attack also injured around 21 others in Yarova, a village in the Donetsk region, Zelensky said while sharing sickening footage of bodies strewn across the ground.
“A brutally savage Russian airstrike with an aerial bomb on the rural settlement of Yarova in the Donetsk region. Directly on people. Ordinary civilians. At the very moment when pensions were being disbursed,” the president wrote on X.
“There are no words.”
The president posted gruesome video of the aftermath as he urged the US and other allies to make Russia pay economically for its full-scale invasion. Read more, see photos and X here,
