Democrats Doubling Down on Socialism — Now Hakeem Jeffries Gets a Primary Challenge
Bob Hoge / RedState
Man, it seems like democratic socialism – Marxism – is rearing its
extremist head everywhere you turn. DSA member Zohran Mamdani won the
mayor’s race in New York, his comrade Katie Wilson took the top job in
Seattle, and as I reported earlier Monday, community organizer Rae Huang
has decided to run against Democrat LA Mayor Karen Bass. But wait, there’s more!
Now listless House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) is facing a primary challenge of his own, and yup, and it’s from another socialist:
New York City Council member Chi Ossé, a democratic socialist, filed paperwork on Monday to challenge House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) next year.
Ossé represents the city’s 36th District, which includes North Crown Heights and Bedford-Stuyvesant, in the New York City Council. He has represented the district since 20. Read more and see X here.
