..But know that when said deportations do come to an end so too will the monies being spent to feed, house, clothe, educate, and medically take care of those who had no business coming here in the first place. A good thing indeed for the monies spent on those crossing our border illegally can now, if properly managed, be returned to the American people, most especially our seniors and our military veterans who seem to get the monetary shaft every time there is a “monetary crisis.”

Simply, a “monetary crisis“ was what we had been facing when Joe Biden was in office, what with the federal government giving out more dollars and cents than it took in. But now with DOGE exposing what is a truly massive amount of governmental monetary waste, the only fair thing to do is take the monies that will be saved when the deportations are complete and either put those monies back into the programs that saw Biden putting American citizens last or simply give it back to we taxpayers...call it “personal stimulus checks“ if need be. But either way a fair amount of those saved monies should also be used to aid our veterans in need for it's shameful that there are close to 33,000 homeless veterans in our country today...veterans who served our country well. It's way past time that the federal government...as well as state and local governments...start spending more monetarily to help serve our veterans and their needs instead of serving those who...and I cannot say this enough...should never have been allowed to come here in the first place... Whether some like it or not the deportation of illegals is well under way thanks to President Trump. And while it currently involves only those with criminal records, eventually it will expand to encompass what I call the “rank and file” illegals, as in those who came here solely for their promised “free stuff”...”stuff” which in reality is anything but “free.” Why so...because it's our taxpayer dollars that help to fund all the programs and goodies the illegals receive while Americans are hurting financially due to the four disastrous Biden/Harris years.

So what are some of the programs and services that our federal taxpayer dollars are being spent on to aid those entering our country illegally? To start with know that, in general, most of the welfare programs that are focused on illegals, costs us billions of dollars each year...billions of dollars that should be going to help struggling middle and lower class American citizens. And also know that in many cases the particular benefits in question sometimes sees illegals receiving cash payments or “direct deposit checks” courtesy of our currently written “Tax Code” laws. Maybe the DOGE needs to start looking into these codes for who wouldn't want to come here knowing that “Uncle Sam” seems more than willing to “foot the bill,” and in return all that's asked is to always vote the Democrat party line.

And while we all tend to laugh at the political bureaucracy and their “rub-it-into-our-faces” shenanigans, if truth be told those who are part and parcel of said bureaucracy are smart enough to know that few, if any, illegals will ever bite the hand of those who seemingly attend to their every need, want, and wish..

Now, here are but three of the specific federal programs catering to illegals along with the sums of monies having been laid out in each case. Those three federal programs are welfare, Medicare, and Medicaid, the program where illegals receive medical benefits for emergency services. 

In fact, in 2023...the year I've based most of this article's figures on because it was one of the busiest years ever for illegal crossings...our federal government did spend almost $66.5 billion on these folks. This includes the more than $23 billion in federal medical expenditures spent on illegals...spent while many Americans, even to this day, still cannot afford health insurance...along with $11.6 billion in welfare benefits ranging from food stamps to, in some cases, SSI (Supplemental Security Income) additions, while many Americans continued living from paycheck to paycheck.

And dare not forget that our Social Security system... what was originally set up to be “ensured income” security for retired older American replete with “inflation-adjusted payments”...still finds fraud being committed by illegals as well, which when added into the cost of Medicare and Medicaid fraud, sees we taxpayers being forced, in one way or another, to bear that monetary burden as well. In fact, when you add in all “improper payments” issued by Social Security...including the cost incurred when illegals either steal a Social Security card or create a false identity to obtain said card and corresponding benefits...said monies equate to about $3 billion per year. And when you then add together all the above stated numbers, you'll see that close to $70 billion dollars of our taxpayer funded monies went to illegals in 2023 not to “We the American People” who in many cases are still economically hurting. Remember, even a change in presidency for the better does not always mean that the changes promised can be achieved within the first “one hundred” days.

Now here's something interesting regarding Social Security fraud itself for while the fraud committed by illegals might not be that big in number, illegals in general do affect Social Security, and hence its monthly payouts. How so...because illegals not only take jobs away from American citizens but by their getting paid less than citizens do, and with Social Security being funded by “dedicated payroll taxes” paid by both employees and their employers as well as by income taxes paid by some beneficiaries...less monies go into the “Social Security Trust Fund” then normally would. Simple math then dictates that less monies coming in proportionately translates into less monies proportionately being paid out to legal beneficiaries.

And this you, dear reader, might also find interesting, In 2024 alone...as per the Social Security Administration (SSA)...about 68 million Americans received Social Security benefits each month which resulted in about $1.5 trillion in benefits being paid out last year, So how were those monies being divvied out? The average monthly benefit for retired workers in 2024 was estimated at $1,927, which included a 3.2% cost-of-living (COLA) adjustment with the benefit rising to to $1,976 at the beginning of 2025, which equates to roughly a $50 increase per month per beneficiary.

Wow! A whopping extra $50 per month per beneficiary... now retirees, the disabled (who also do receive Social Security benefits), and America's elderly can either go buy an extra carton of eggs and an extra loaf of bread or maybe turn up the heat in their homes...while illegals (in NYC for example) relax in luxury hotels with their bodies warm and bellies full...sarcastically and very angrily said of course.

And approximately how much does “each” illegal border crosser cost us for their anything but “free stuff”...in 2024, how about $8,776. And when you multiply that number by the number of persons in an illegal family...lets say a mother, father, and two children...that number equals $35,104 annually which divided by 12 months equals $2,925 per month which is more than the average monthly Social Security check is for one who has paid into the system their entire working life.

But this monetary disaster is not only being committed on the federal level, but on the state and local levels as well, especially in “blue” states and cities. Here are but a few examples with the first being, as per DOGE, that in 2023 alone, the Biden/Harris administration saw both inflation and the cost of food staples rising...saw $150.7 billion of our hard earned taxpayer dollars being spent on giving illegals a continuation of their “free ride”...with said cost inching even higher in 2024. And to make a bad situation even worse, many major blue state liberal cities were catering to illegals as well while turning their backs on needy Americans, our homeless veterans included.

Here are but three examples:

1. Since 2022, New York City has spent over $5.22 billion to provide shelter, food, and other so deemed “essential” services on the almost quarter of a million illegals now still overwhelming the city. 

2. The sanctuary city of Chicago...a city currently facing a budget shortfall of $1 billion...saw its mayor spending over $574.5 million on the 51,643 illegals that Texas Gov. Abbott rightfully bused to them. 

3. The city of Denver...yet another sanctuary city...has spent $356+ million to “accommodate” the needs of the the 42,911 illegals also bused there from Texas.

And all the examples I just stated are but the tip of the illegals monetary “free stuff” iceberg... an iceberg where “Peter is being robbed to pay Paul,” with “Peter” in many cases being we taxpayers pocketbooks. Simply, these are monies that would be better spent on programs for elderly American citizens, our homeless veterans in need, and on those of “We the People” who still do live paycheck to paycheck, and who collectively still see no end in sight to the illegal nightmare we might never wake up from. Let the deportations continue on...let the monies saved be used to help American citizens...American citizens alone. Case closed.

The Anointing of Saint Jordan Neely

He's been described by some as but a “gentle giant” as well as being a Michael Jackson impersonator, but the truth is that Jordan Neely was a drug addicted, serious mentally ill individual, and career criminal who had been arrested before...and let go...for harassing and threatening folks on the subway. Jordan Neely was also homeless living on the streets, and yet his family did not a thing to get him help nor take him into their home. Guess it was okay for them to fear him and keep their distance but not for others to do so, and yet who upon his death made out like he was an integral part of their lives. Simply, it appears he was not.

Jordan Neely had been seriously mentally ill for a long time, yet he still was freely wandering New York's streets. Lost in the shuffle of bureaucratic paperwork and liberal spewed rhetoric that damns the locking up of the insane, Michael Jackson impersonator Jordan Neely, in times past when justice was colorblind, would not have been on the streets for he would have been institutionalized for his being not only a danger to himself but to innocent others as well. But that was before “bought and paid for” liberal D.A.s...D.A.s like the infamous George Soros funded New York D.A. Alvin Bragg...were able to strong arm the courts into making heroes out of villains and the victims the ones being charged.

And this is exactly what happened to Daniel Penny, a former U.S. Marine who at first faced actual murder charges in regards to Jordan Neely's death, but by the time the actual indictment was handed down Perry faced the charge of “second degree manslaughter.” Why so...because the public outcry was overwhelmingly in Penny's favor and against the out of control, mentally ill, drugged out, psychotic individual...who it took three men plus Penny to subdue and bring to the ground...a gentle giant Neely surely was not...for he threatened verbally and physically Penny and the other folks riding the Manhattan F-train. “Justifiable homicide by self-defense” is what Penny rightfully called his actions taken, for in no way...and this is key...was this premeditated anything like race-baiters continue to claim for neither Penny nor Neely knew each other or had ever met before.

A key fact regarding premeditation deliberately being ignored for the circumstances and witness statements should have put an end to said accusation. But, sadly, in today's world it seems that any black/white confrontation is, for some, hatefully driven by race...by skin color...alone. And here enters fist-pumping black activists and their media supporters to make sure that skin color not only enters but dominates the public discourse.

Facts, truths, and witness testimonies matter not to folks like New York County D.A. Alvin Bragg, for what seemed to be Bragg's defining moment when sending this case to the Grand Jury seemed to solely be based upon the color of Penny's skin, after all Bragg rarely indicts black folks for crimes committed. To folks like Bragg, Jordan Neely was yet another saint-like young black man killed by what he deemed to be yet another racist white man, and this is no matter the fact that there was upon investigation no indication that Penny was a racist nor that he was in any way tied to white supremacy groups. But in today's world black on white crime is being overlooked, while white on black crime...with crime not really being an applicable word in this case...is not. In fact, some believe the indictment is but a form of reparations owed.

And it's thanks to D.A.s like Alvin Bragg who either ignore crimes committed by black offenders or simply allows them to walk free, coupled with the NYPD being forced into an unwanted position where they are at times perceived to be reverse racists in their own right...which we know they are not. And the winners in this case currently are both the media who is helping to push forward racist allegations as they are a ratings bonanza, plus those black supremacy groups like BLM...groups who thrive on both hate and publicity and see this case as being just another example of “whitey” killing what they deem to be an innocent young black man.

So seems to be the mindset of D.A. Bragg for even when multiple witnesses...both black and white...came forward to back-up Perry's words...even when cell phone videos showed proof positive of Penny's “justified” statement... Bragg wanted to charge Penny with murder no matter that what was really in play was a law-abiding citizen lawfully committing a true act of “self-defense.” But Bragg has a history of such actions...actions defending black “perps” while throwing the proverbial “book” at non-black victims. One case that immediately comes to my mind is when, not that long ago, a Hispanic bodega owner justifiably killed an armed black robber in the process of trying to rob his store and possibly even kill him. And like with Daniel Penny, Bragg’s office initially charged the victim with second-degree murder before the charges were finally dropped.

However, even with the witnesses coming forward, even with the tapes proving what Penny did was indeed justifiable, even with the court of public opinion for the most part on Penny's side, Alvin Bragg went to the Grand Jury in an effort to get an indictment...which he unfortunately did. Coercion on his part, perhaps...a tainted jury pool, perhaps...things we will never know, but what we do know is that 30-year old Jordan Neely was previously arrested 42 times and let go between 2013 and 2021, including for a similar subway offense, four times for assault, plus numerous times in relation to transit fraud and criminal trespass. In fact, at the time of his death, there was an active warrant out for Jordan Neely's arrest pertaining to an assault charge dating back to 2021 when he punched a 67-yesr old woman...a stranger...in the face as she was exiting a subway station

And while bleeding heart liberals were and still are quick to come to Neely's defense and blame all that he did on his currently being both homeless and mentally ill, the real one who should shoulder the blame is Alvin Bragg himself along with his soft-on-crime policies that let many career criminals back onto NYC streets without so much as a slap on the wrist. In fact, Bragg and crew have allowed 100 of NYC's worst repeat offenders...including a number having 100+ arrests...back onto the streets.

Simply, in NYC which now sees crime numbers starting to rise once again...Alvin Brigg's D.A. office truly has a revolving door policy where crimes committed by blacks are, for the most part, being overlooked while crimes committed by whites against blacks sees the proverbial “book” being thrown at them...case in point Daniel Penny. And this from the man who when first assuming office released a memo detailing how his new charging, bail, plea, and sentencing policies will make the criminal justice system more fair...more fair only for those who commit crimes not for those who are the victims of crimes no matter the level of crime committed nor the color of one's skin.

In fact, Bragg's own words sum it up best. “We will be tough when we need to be, but we will not be seeking to destroy lives through unnecessary incarceration,” were Bragg's very words concerning arrests that usually, in the past, led to taking a dangerous element off the street, but now allows them to remain in business, if you will, including dangerous sorts selling drugs and those resisting arrest.

And so the man who thinks “incarceration” is not the solution to NYC's crime problem; the man who thinks dangerously mentally ill individuals do not belong on Riker's Island and will instead defer prosecution to local community-based organization that deal with mental health issues (and where most of the mentally ill can easily slip through the bureaucratic cracks); the sad reality is why even bother to send police officers out on calls...calls where their own lives are put in danger...calls that the D.A.s office will not prosecute unless the “perp” is white and the victim is black...calls where most times the reality is just the opposite.

Such is the Daniel Penny case. Simply, Daniel Penny is a hero, there is no other way to say it for if he had not been on the subway that fateful day many could and probably would have died, including children... died at the hands of a mentally ill, career criminal, who...thanks to a D.A. like Alvin Bragg...was able to skirt the justice system. Daniel Penny should never have been indicted to begin with, but should have been awarded a medal for his helping to keep New York's streets and it's inhabitants safe, after all the NYPD's hands have been tied behind their backs by leftist mayors and D.A.s like Alvin Bragg for quite some time now. Basically, Daniel Penny did what law enforcement in New York City is either unable to do or specifically told not to do...as in stop certain crimes being committed...especially when on first glance it appears to be white on black crime when in reality most times it is anything but.

And so now as Jordan Neely is being hailed by bleeding heart liberals and black race-baiters as the media canonized successor to the late Saint George Floyd, we wait for Daniel Penny's July 17th trial to commence...a trail where he faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. But all I can say is this nonsense must stop for the color of ones skin can no longer be the decider of right from wrong nor guilt from innocence, for if this is allowed to continue on a true race war could well be in the making. Case closed.

ObamaCare Gets Personal

ObamaCare…the nightmare that hangs over us all. Promises made, promises not kept…escalating premiums and services not rendered. And we all have heard stories of people losing insurance they were happy with while men are now covered for pregnancy and women can get prostrate exams at no cost. Now add in the fact that cancer patients are being denied much needed chemo and radiation treatment, heart attack patients are mired down in paperwork as they sit in waiting rooms overrun with illegals who get better and faster treatment than they do, and you just know that America’s health care system has been dealt a devastating blow.

But the reality for many of us is that until this monstrosity affects someone you personally know it becomes someone else’s problem…not yours. So now let me tell you a story about someone many of us know, but before I reveal his name it must be understood that his story is indeed ‘everyman’s’ story now that ObamaCare is the law of the land.

Let’s start by imagining a medical emergency hitting you out of the blue…no warning whatsoever…as you go to bed feeling fine and a few hours later you wake up in agonizing, blood curdling pain. Nothing you do relieves the pain…a pain that increases with each breath you take. Finally an ambulance is called and you are transported to your local hospital where you are loaded with pain killing drugs…which barely touch your pain…while the doctors run various ‘basic’ tests in an effort to determine the cause of your pain. Now add in that the pain is so bad that your blood pressure soars to such heights that you are on the verge of stroking out, but low and behold in walks the bearer of paperwork which must be filled out before treatment can be started...after all the hospital must be assured that a withering in agony patient…a legal citizen of these United States…has insurance and that they will be paid.

And so with this particular patient being in the ObamaCare system…something he never wanted or intended to be in but which circumstances forced him into…the paper work nightmare begins and continues unabated to this day as the hospital is threatening to sue for monies owed...as the patient and his wife are being evicted from their home because they cannot pay their rent due to the fact that hospital creditors incessantly hound them for the monies owed. But wait…this patient like I said has ObamaCare so why the hounding…why the threats to sue…why isn’t his ObamaCare coverage paying out what they should be paying…and why is this family facing likely bankruptcy…why… simply because ObamaCare does not work as one hand has no idea what the other hand is doing.

And when you add into the ObamaCare mix IRS involvement…and yes…the IRS plays a very large part in ObamaCare…you just know you are in trouble if you dare to get sick.

People pay their ObamaCare premiums month after month…like this patient did…into a system riddled with so many flaws that when said insurance is needed and should kick-in it simply doesn’t. And with it not kicking in comes a multitude of excuses all coming from the ObamaCare end.

Excuses from the ObamaCare end what with it’s web sites that still do not work…from telephone operators who do not know answers to simple questions and who cannot be understood as their English…if they even speak it…is fractured at best. And for this man that many of us know…whose name I will shortly reveal…a man in so much pain he thought he was dying…and even begged to do so as he could not take much more…while he had a diagnosis made and treatment rendered complications set in that within a few months led him into emergency surgery…emergency surgery that was a success yet emergency surgery that came with a hefty price tag and mountains of paperwork from an insurance company that had no intention of following through with the insurance he paid for.

Insurance he paid for starting in March 2015 but by early April of the same year he was told that he and his wife’s policy had been cancelled due to a lack of payment. But payment had most assuredly been made…and made on time in fact…but ObamaCare had failed to send their subsidy to their insurance carrier, Coventry.

And after much back and forth Coventry reinstated their insurance policy but now instead of being billed for one policy…the one and only policy he had originally signed them up for…they were being billed for two policies. And so once again it was bantering back and forth with Coventry, who while they said they understood that they needed and had signed up for only one policy, they now in their misguided wisdom cancelled both policies.

Finally getting reinstated again in early May 2015, by the end of May it was back to arguing with Coventry because they were now informed again that their policy been cancelled due to a lack of payments they were actually making...and making on time…exactly as had happened a few months prior and with the same excuse that ObamaCare wasn’t paying the subsidy to Coventry as they were supposed to.

And downhill it goes from here when in July 2015, the wife of he who many of us know lost her job leaving this family with no income at all for a bit of time until she found another job. Now fast forward to January 2016 when the man many of us know…when The National Patriot’s and my Right Side Patriots partner and friend Craig Andresen and his wife Susan...were supposed to get their much needed 1095 forms so they could file their taxes...but as expected with the monstrosity known as ObamaCare, they did not receive the much needed forms.

And so the phone bantering took on a new dimension as they now were battling both their carrier Coventry and once again the clueless at ObamaCare at the same time. Finally they were told they would have in their possession the needed 1095 forms in no later than 30 days, but true to ObamaCare’s ineptitude, 30 days came and went and no forms appeared. And so calls…many calls…were again placed and this time both Craig and Susan were told they could neither find nor send them the much needed forms as they were not…according to their records…covered under ObamaCare. After much hair-pulling and yelling it was suddenly discovered that they were indeed covered and again were told it would be another 30 days until they received said forms.

Flash forward and its 30 days later and only about half the needed 1095 forms had arrived. And again Susan called Coventry where they transferred her to the so-called “network” who informed her that for several months they hadn’t been covered and who then transferred her back to Coventry, who got back to her a week or so later to tell her that they had found the rest of the 1095 forms but that it would take yet another 30 days to get them delivered.

Craig and Susan were now faced with a total of 90 days of waiting with little to no results, and were forced to file for an extension on their taxes, delaying the $2000+ they would have received in a refund…$2000+ they desperately needed to not only pay their back rent but to keep the hospital hounds at bay who were ‘barking’ and demanding their monies due as Coventry…as ObamaCare…was not reimbursing them for services rendered.

Finally, early last month Craig received one more of the much needed 1095 forms, but at this point in time is still missing two critical parts so once again Coventry was called and once again he and Susan were given the same runaround and were transferred back and forth and forth again until finally...at the middle of this June...they received one of the still missing two 1095 forms but were still unable to file their taxes as one form was still missing, and very little monies were coming in as Susan’s job is based on commissions only, with the result being that their rent is now four months overdue, and the hospital still wants...still demands… payment be made now.

It was at this point that an independent insurance agent...not with Coventry...did manage to get the missing numbers needed and a promise that the last of the 1095 forms would be mailed to Crag post-haste. Happily they were, and Craig and Susan filed their long overdue taxes just a week or so ago.

But even that little bit of happiness was short-lived…and here is where you can see Craig as ‘everyman’…’everyman’ caught between a rock and a hard place due to no fault of their own. Because of the runarounds received by both ObamaCare and Coventry…because of all the ‘you are covered’...no ‘you are not covered’...oh, and by the way because we made a major boo-boo we cancelled both of your policies when you actually had only one policy…and then reinstated you and then undid so...Craig and Susan continued to face hospitals and clinics suing them for payments that their ‘wonderful’ ObamaCare insurance was supposed to be making but wasn’t.

Now having to take out a loan to cover their out-of-pocket expenses to keep the attorneys at bay and with Susan’s commission-only job paying only enough to keep up their payments on the loan...there was literally no monies left to pay household bills, to buy food except for the basics, or to pay the rent. This forced Susan to ‘make a deal’ with their landlords to pay the back rent as soon as they got their tax return, and with their landlords being the parents of a long-time friend…and extremely wealthy to boot…told Susan it was no problem as they understood the direness of the situation.

Well guess what…they lied.

And it all boils down to this…had Craig and Susan gotten their 1095 forms on time they would have filed ahead of the tax deadline and had their $2000+ tax return by mid-April of this year...thus paying in-full the back rent they owed. And while the landlords knew the intricate details of the their situation…while they had given Susan both their word and reassurance that they would wait until the tax return came in no matter how long it took…they instead, via their attorney, sent an eviction notice over to Craig and Susan just three days before they were finally able to file their taxes just a week or so ago…giving them but one month to get out or else…and we all know what that legalize of ‘or else’ means.

So now with but one month to get out and with literally no money to move anywhere, my dear friends Craig and Susan Andresen will be homeless come August 1st and will be forced to live in one of their two old…decades old…cars, and it’s all do to the ineptitude of the monstrosity known as ObamaCare and their not paying on hospital bills Craig was indeed covered for, coupled with friends who turned out to be anything but friends.  And to make this situation even more heartbreaking is that once they are homeless Craig and Susan will be forced to give up their three pets…Bella the dog and Merlot and Mallory the cats…all of whom they have had since they were little. These are their ‘children’ so to speak and this will be like a knife through their hearts.

So what is there left for them to do…what would ‘everyman’ do in a situation such as this…they look to their true friends for help and in this case it’s money that is needed…money not to splurge on fluff…but money needed just to survive, to find a small place to live, to keep their family intact, and to continue their fight to get ObamaCare to pay the ever-mounting hospital bills.
