Question: If Obamacare officials cannot prevent accused embezzlers from infiltrating their offices, how can they protect enrollees from grifters, con artists and thieves in the federal health insurance exchange system?

Here in my home state, a director of Connect for Health Colorado -- the state-sponsored Obamacare health insurance exchange -- was just put on administrative leave. No, Christa Ann McClure did not go on leave over the chronic problems plaguing the cursed Connect for Health website. She's on leave because she has been indicted for filching funds from her last employer in Montana.

No, the guardians of Obamacare didn't smoke her out on their own. McClure 'fessed up only after the local Billings (Mont.) Gazette newspaper reported on the charges against her. She was indicted by a grand jury on Jan. 16. But her current state government employers did not find out until last week, when McClure finally informed them because the press had published the indictment.

The Keystone Kops of the Colorado health exchange tell us they conducted "thorough" background checks of McClure. They say they "fully vetted" and investigated her references when they hired her last March for her six-figure job helming the state Obamacare office of "partner engagement."

Colorado officials say she was "well-qualified" for the Obamacare job, which involves being a "liaison" with other government agencies.

But mum's the word on who recommended her, which references they talked to and who in Colorado Democratic circles might have known about her history in Montana.

The 12-page federal indictment is a blood-boiling document outlining government waste, fraud and abuse in the federal affordable housing racket. The feds say McClure siphoned untold amounts of money from the nonprofit group Housing Montana, which received a half-million-dollar federal grant to build homes for poor people.

McClure allegedly was paying herself "significant sums" for bogus "consulting services" while also taking a full-time salary as executive director of the nonprofit. She is accused of raiding the organization's funds for family expenses, personal travel and a laptop and lying to the IRS to obtain false reimbursements. She further defrauded the government by inflating her unused sick and annual leave hours. The feds say she also bilked Montana homeowners who participated in the federal affordable housing program by charging them for a fake $750 warranty and a $1,000 fee for "leasing tools."

Here's another disturbing fact: In a classic dance of the lemons, McClure had bounced around successfully from government-funded job to job until now. The Montana state auditor's office disclosed last week that McClure had managed three grants worth more than $2 million to implement Obamacare in that state. McClure worked on the project for three years at an annual salary of $98,000. She was "responsible for managing a broad range of contracts and making sure they got delivered on time," according to The Billings Gazette.

To whom did she deliver them, you ask? State auditors will be trying to find out now. McClure faces trial in June and up to 20 years on each of the eight charges of fraud and embezzlement.

I'd like to be able to tell you that she'll never work in another Obamacare job again. But take a look at California. Just a few weeks ago, Jillian Kay Melchior reported in National Review that "at least 43 convicted criminals are working as Obamacare navigators in California, including three individuals with records of significant financial crimes." The crimes include forgery, petty theft, shoplifting, welfare fraud, child abuse and evading an officer.

Only the best to handle your private medical data and sensitive financial information!

And take a look at Oregon's disastrous Obamacare exchange, Cover Oregon. While overseeing an over-budget and inoperable website subsidized to the tune of nearly $60 million in federal funds, project managers allegedly "initiated the design of dummy web pages to convince the federal government the project was further along than it actually was," according to KATU-TV in Portland.

A former Republican state legislator who served on the information technology oversight committee reported the whistleblowing allegations to the FBI. There is still no estimated completion date for the dysfunctional project, and the woman in charge of implementing the system is now in California, refusing to answer questions about her role.

"We have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it," Nancy Pelosi infamously brayed in 2010.

Ever since, Obamacare has revealed its true and horrifying colors: It's not salvation. It's a criminal enterprise rooted in ideological fraud.

Iran’s Supremo: Americans are “enemies of Islamic Revolution and of Iran,” negotiations “will not bring an end to this enmity”

  / Jihad Watch

None of this will shake the conviction of Iran and the mainstream media that the Iranian mullahcracy is now “moderate,” and the Iranians know it. They know they can act with complete impunity, and nothing will stop Barack Obama and John Kerry from granting them concessions and helping them attain their nuclear goals.

“Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei: I Am Not Optimistic about Nuclear Talks; US Will Continue to Be an Enemy,” from MEMRI, February 17:
The following are excerpts from a speech delivered by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, which aired on IRINN TV [Iran] on February 17, 2014:
Ali Khamenei: The message of the revolution is that we shall not surrender to bullying and extortion. We shall not surrender to hegemonic order. Hegemonic order means that a few powers control all the weapons and money, and they want to rule the world. The United States is the manifestation of today’s hegemonic order.
The Iranian nation has said during the revolution, in the ensuing events, in the Iran-Iraq War, and on the recent Revolution Day, that we shall not surrender to American bullying and extortion.
Crowd: Allah Akbar. Allah Akbar. Allah Akbar. Khamenei is the leader. Death to those who oppose the Rule of the Jurisprudent! Death to America! Death to England! Death to the hypocrites! Death to Israel!
Ali Khamenei: Certain people, who try to conceal the true face of America, should not do so. They should not conceal America’s ugliness, barbarism, and violence against our nation. They try to portray its government as friendly. They should not do so. It is futile.
[…]
The American president, with utter insolence, supported the people behind the [2009] strike in Tehran, and he supported them recently once again.
[…]
On March 21, 2013, in Mashhad, I declared that I have nothing to say [about the nuclear issue]. Some officials in the previous government, and some in the current government, believe that the nuclear issue can be resolved through negotiations with the US. I said: If you insist on negotiation with them on this specifically – fine. But in the same speech, I said that I was not optimistic. I am not against it, but I am not optimistic.
Look, time after time, the Americans make stupid statements. One dishonorable American senator takes money from the Zionists in order to go to the Senate and curse the Iranian nation. He uses real curses, not just insults. He curses. Even their leaders have insulted Iran, but of course, our people punched them in the mouth on the recent Revolution Day.
[…]
The nuclear issue is merely a pretext for enmity. Even if the nuclear issue is resolved one day in line with US expectations – although this is impossible – they will seek something else instead. Note how the American spokespeople have talked about human rights, missiles, weapons, and so on. I am surprised at how the Americans are not ashamed to talk about human rights.
[…]
Iran will not violate its agreements and commitments, but the Americans are the enemies of the Islamic Revolution and of Iran. They are the enemies of the flag that you hold high, and these [negotiations] will not bring an end to this enmity.

Anti-Semitism NO matter the package is still anti-Semitism...period
By: Diane Sori

"It's time to delegitimise the delegitimisers."
-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

And so it is beginning again as some in the EU...the very same nations that looked away and condoned the murder of six million Jews...is siding with the enemy...this time that enemy being the Palestinians who are calling for an economic boycott of Israel and Israel alone.

Practicing "anti-Semitism in a new garb" says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and how right he is except for one small but important detail...anti-Semitism has NEVER gone away as eight EU member nations...Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Sweden and the UK...home to 90% of the EU's Jewish population....all have reported a rise into anti-Semitic actions against their Jewish population...especially as the muslim population in those countries continues to increase due to their now regretted lax immigration policies.

So when Netanyahu recently addressed a conference of U.S. Jewish organizations in Jerusalem concerning the actions of the international 'Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions' movement (BDS)...formed in 2005 by Palestinian civil society in response to 'supposed' (but non-existent) Israeli violations of Palestinian human rights...his words about the BDS's goal of bringing about "the end of the Jewish state" are NOT mere words of fear but are words of a possible reality.

"Some supporters of the movement see it as a way to put pressure on Israel to end illegal settlements in the territories occupied in the 1967 war; others favor the creation of a single state that would dismantle Israel."
And how right Netanyahu is as the BDS movement makes their goals perfectly clear...they want to see the end of the Jewish state by any means possible.

Claiming the movement was founded to counter both the Israeli occupation of what they consider 'Palestinian lands' and the subjugation of the supposed 'Palestinian people' over the years, what this group overlooks is the simple fact that there are and NEVER were any 'Palestinian lands' because there are and NEVER were any 'Palestinian people'...period. The supposed Palestinians are just everyday garden variety, run of the mill Arabs that their own brethren didn't want who were grouped together into a made-up people by Yassir Arafat in the late 1960's to push forward the agenda of the PLO and for NO other reason.

And now thanks to Obama's stabbing Israel in the back every chance he gets, pressure is coming from Europe, where NGOs (non-profit, voluntary citizens' groups that organize on local, national or international levels), trade unions, churches, and others are forcing their governments to take action against Israel in defense of the non-existent Palestinians. In fact, last year the EU blocked grants and funding for any Israeli company operating beyond the pre-1967 borders, in addition to requiring labeling of goods produced in the settlements. And two weeks ago our very own personal traitor John 'Swiftboat' Kerry, had the unmitigated gall to threaten Israel that they would face even more calls for boycotts if the current peace talks with the Palestinians collapsed...and he was surely speaking on behalf of Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

"More international corporations are ending their business and shying away from bids in Israel," said Rafeef Ziadah, speaking on behalf of the BDS national committee. Claiming Israel exists solely through colonialism, apartheid, and occupation, the BDS movement is trying to make 'Made in Israel' poison to the touch. And last Tuesday, the BDS announced with much fanfare that Germany's largest bank, Deutsche Bank, had listed Israel's Bank Hapoalim as an 'unethical investment.'

However, yesterday Deutsche Bank said that it is NOT boycotting Bank Hapoalim or any other Israeli company contrary to what the BDS says, saying that the BDF was referring to a single client of the bank,...a fund named Ethical MSCI World Index UCITS ETF. However, now there are musings that Deutsche Bank has decided that they will evaluate said boycott on a case by case basis...but being this is Germany with its always shadowy past, this does NOT bode well as too many ghosts occupy Germany's very soul and now they are starting to haunt Germany's present on a 'case by case' basis.

Also, the BDS claimed that two European port operators had dropped plans to build new ports in Israel over fears about the boycott, and that seems to be fact as Royal Boskalis Westminster, a Dutch operator of ports that had submitted a proposal under the name Holland Terminal in the pre-qualification stage last December, has now dropped out of the bidding process. And just recently, Italy’s Condote de Agua withdrew their proposal even after passing the pre-qualification process as international boycott pressure on the Jewish State of Israel continues to grow. And sadly, with NO counter measures initiated by Barack HUSSEIN Obama in support of our ally Israel why should they NOT go along.

And so as boycott and divestment initiatives are spreading like a cancer throughout European capitals, Netanyahu is discussing ways to counter these BDS moves through lawsuits, legal actions against financial institutions that boycott settlements and Israeli companies, and by possibility asking Israel-friendly countries to initiate anti-boycott legislation and activating the powerful pro-Israel lobby in the U.S. But as Obama has outwardly sided with the Palestinians, and as Kerry continues to spew Obama's threats against them, Israel remains adrift in a sea of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionist rhetoric reborn that even our pro-Israel lobby might NOT be able to override.

Israel...2-1/2 times the size of Rhode Island, is surrounded by 22 hostile Arab countries 640 times her size with 60 times her population. Israel...260 miles at its longest, 60 miles at its widest with between 3 and 9 miles at its narrowest. And yet these Arab/muslim/Palestinian basta*rds claim that the 13 million Jews worldwide are the cause of all the problems confronting the 250 million Middle-East Arabs and the world's 1.4 billion muslims. Makes as much sense as Obama's claim that muslims contributed to the founding of America.

So as hatred of Israel continues to grow and as anti-Semitism spreads once again, the time draws near for Israel to end this nonsense once and for all. And I for one pledge to stand with Israel NO matter what our miserable excuse of a President and our equally miserable excuse of a Secretary of State have to say...period.

How did global warming discussions end up hinging on what's happening with polar bears, unverifiable predictions of what will happen in a hundred years, and whether people are "climate deniers" or "global warming cultists?" If this is a scientific topic, why aren't we spending more time discussing the science involved?

Why aren't we talking about the evidence and the actual data involved? Why aren't we looking at the predictions that were made and seeing if they match up to the results? If this is such an open and shut case, why are so many people who care about science skeptical? Many Americans have long since thought that the best scientific evidence available suggested that man wasn't causing any sort of global warming. However, now, we can go even further and suggest that the planet isn't warming at all.

1) There hasn't been any global warming since 1997: If nothing changes in the next year, we're going to have kids who graduate from high school who will have never seen any "global warming" during their lifetimes. That's right; the temperature of the planet has essentially been flat for 17 years. This isn't a controversial assertion either. Even the former Director of the Climate Research Unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, Phil Jones, admits that it's true. Since the planet was cooling from 1940-1975 and the upswing in temperature afterward only lasted 22 years, a 17 year pause is a big deal. It also begs an obvious question: How can we be experiencing global warming if there's no actual "global warming?"

2) There is no scientific consensus that global warming is occurring and caused by man: Questions are not decided by "consensus." In fact, many scientific theories that were once widely believed to be true were made irrelevant by new evidence. Just to name one of many, many examples, in the early seventies, scientists believed global cooling was occurring. However, once the planet started to warm up, they changed their minds. Yet, the primary "scientific" argument for global warming is that there is a "scientific consensus" that it's occurring. Setting aside the fact that's not a scientific argument, even if that ever was true (and it really wasn't), it's certainly not true anymore.

Over 31,000 scientists have signed on to a petition saying humans aren't causing global warming. More than 1000 scientists signed on to another report saying there is no global warming at all. There are tens of thousands of well-educated, mainstream scientists who do not agree that global warming is occurring at all and people who share their opinion are taking a position grounded in science.

3) Arctic ice is up 50% since 2012: The loss of Arctic ice has been a big talking point for people who believe global warming is occurring. Some people have even predicted that all of the Arctic ice would melt by now because of global warming. Yet, Arctic ice is up 50% since 2012. How much Arctic ice really matters is an open question since the very limited evidence we have suggests that a few decades ago, there was less ice than there is today, but the same people who thought the drop in ice was noteworthy should at least agree that the increase is important as well.

4) Climate models showing global warming have been wrong over and over: These future projections of what global warming will do to the planet have been based on climate models. Essentially, scientists make assumptions about how much of an impact different factors will have; they guess how much of a change there will be and then they project changes over time.

Unfortunately, almost all of these models showing huge temperature gains have turned out to be wrong.
Former NASA scientist Dr. Roy Spencer says that climate models used by government agencies to create policies “have failed miserably.” Spencer analyzed 90 climate models against surface temperature and satellite temperature data, and found that more than 95 percent of the models “have over-forecast the warming trend since 1979, whether we use their own surface temperature dataset (HadCRUT4), or our satellite dataset of lower tropospheric temperatures (UAH).”
There's an old saying in programming that goes, "Garbage in, garbage out." In other words, if the assumptions and data you put into the models are faulty, then the results will be worthless. If the climate models that show a dire impact because of global warming aren't reliable -- and they're not -- then the long term projections they make are meaningless.

5) Predictions about the impact of global warming have already been proven wrong: The debate over global warming has been going on long enough that we've had time to see whether some of the predictions people made about it have panned out in the real world. For example, Al Gore predicted all the Arctic ice would be gone by 2013. In 2005, the Independent ran an article saying that the Artic had entered a death spiral.
Scientists fear that the Arctic has now entered an irreversible phase of warming which will accelerate the loss of the polar sea ice that has helped to keep the climate stable for thousands of years....The greatest fear is that the Arctic has reached a “tipping point” beyond which nothing can reverse the continual loss of sea ice and with it the massive land glaciers of Greenland, which will raise sea levels dramatically. Of course, the highway is still there.
Meanwhile, Arctic ice is up 50% since 2012. James Hansen of NASA fame predicted that the West Side Highway in New York would be under water by now because of global warming.

If the climate models and the predictions about global warming aren't even close to being correct, wouldn't it be more scientific to reject hasty action based on faulty data so that we can further study the issue and find out what's really going on?
The Afghanistan government's recent release of dozens of imprisoned terrorists, many of whom had killed Americans, was a galling betrayal of those Americans who died defending Afghanistan against the Taliban terrorists -- as well as those Americans who have returned home with arms or legs missing, or with minds traumatized beyond repair.

If we learn nothing else from the bitter tragedy of the war in Afghanistan, it should be that we should put an end forever to the self-indulgence of thinking that we can engage in "nation-building" and creating "democracy" in countries where nothing resembling democracy has ever existed.

It would be a feat to achieve one of these objectives, but to achieve both at the same time is a gamble that makes playing Russian roulette look like a harmless pastime.

F.A. Hayek said, "We shall not grow wiser until we learn that much that we have done was very foolish." Nothing is more foolish -- and immoral -- than sending men into battle to risk their lives winning victories that are later lost by politicians for political reasons.

That started long before the war in Afghanistan. Vietnam was a classic example. Years after that war was over, the Communist victors themselves admitted that they lost militarily in Vietnam, as they knew they would. But they won politically in America, with the help of Americans, including the media -- as they also knew they would.

The war in Iraq was more of the same. American troops won that war but our politicians lost the peace. Terrorists have now taken over, and raised Al Qaeda flags, in some Iraqi towns that American troops liberated at the cost of many lives.

How did this happen? It happened much the same way it happened in Afghanistan. We insisted on trying to create a "democracy" in the Middle East -- a place with a history going back thousands of years, without a single democracy.

What we created instead was a local ruler, placed in charge as a result of the blood and treasure of Americans, but independent of us, because he won an election that we insisted on holding -- as if there are no prerequisites for democracy.

To compound the problem, we had members of Congress constantly talking about pulling out of Iraq, and demanding a timetable -- despite what military madness it is to tell your enemy when you will be gone.

With American military support likely to be temporary and Iran's military presence next door certain to be permanent, how surprising is it that Iraq's leadership took Iran much more seriously than it took the United States?

Today, the Iraqi government is much more accommodating to Iran than to the United States, despite the fact that Americans put them in power. The very same scenario was repeated in Afghanistan, with President Obama himself announcing a timetable for the withdrawal of American troops.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai saw the handwriting on the wall -- and what it said was that American support was temporary but the Taliban was going to be around long after the Americans were gone. He too decided that it was better to try to get on the good side of our enemies, in this case by turning loose some terrorists.

It doesn't have to be this way.

After World War II, the American military took over the governments of Japan and West Germany.

We did not start out by setting up some local leader who would be able to put his own interests above ours and work at cross purposes against us. Nor did we announce to the whole world when we planned to start reducing our troop levels in these countries.

Under the unchallenged supremacy of General Douglas MacArthur, Japan was indeed turned into a very different country, one in which democratic institutions could be phased in, at whatever pace the circumstances made prudent. Something similar happened in West Germany.

But this was not something that could be done quickly or on the cheap, with politicians sounding off in Congress about pulling out, and trying to micromanage from thousands of miles away. If we can't be serious, we have no right to send young Americans out into the hell of war.

Retaking the Senate...a must...NO ifs, ands, or buts
By: Diane Sori

OK folks...here's the bottom line before anything else...we MUST MUST MUST retake the Senate and increase our numbers in the House come November or it's over...and over for a very long time if NOT forever. And only by turning Congress RED can Barack HUSSEIN Obama be rendered politically impotent from doing any more harm to our country.

We blew it in 2012...we cannot afford to blow it this time around. We blew what should have been an easy win and we blew it because of our own people. We blew it because of those 'supposedly' on our side who did NOT vote at all because their candidate of choice was NOT the nominee. We blew it because of those voters who put social issues before the very survival of our country. We blew it because many voted 3rd party simply because they felt the chosen nominee was NOT conservative enough for them. We blew it because of 'certain' religious leaders who told their flocks NOT to vote for the Republican nominee because he was NOT of their chosen faith. We blew it by listening and buying into the media's defamation and dishonoring of a good man. We blew it by NOT putting a stop to the rampant voter fraud that we all knew was surely to come BEFORE it even happened. And we blew it because...geesh...the list goes on and on, and that is the saddest thing of all.

And out of those who caused us to blow it in 2012...and who might just cause us to blow it in 2014...I have a particular bone to pick with certain groups of people within our ranks...the social issue voters ...the 3rd party voters...the non-voters...and the what I call the 'it's my way to God or NO way to God' voters. First, the social issue voters. When are these people going to wake up and realize that the social issues can only be dealt with AFTER our side is in control...as in holding the majority in both Houses of Congress. We must realize and accept as fact that social change will NOT come while the Democrats are in control of the Senate because the votes for the social issues are just NOT there... period. So put the social issues on the back burner for now...they can and will be dealt with when Republicans...YES Republicans...are in control of both Houses of Congress.

Second, the 3rd party voters. Now listen up you guys...NO...I repeat NO 3rd party candidate will ever win the White House or be in control of Congress...nor will the writing in of Mickey Mouse or Jesus afford that wanted result either...as the numbers are NOT and will NEVER be there. A two-party system works...and works well...when the premise of the 'good guys' vs the 'bad guys' comes into play. In fact, a 3rd party vote...or a write-in vote...is actually a vote for the 'other side' as even one less vote for the 'good guys' by default is one more vote for the 'bad guys'... period. So suck it up if your candidate of choice is NOT the nominee whether for president or for Congress...hold your nose and pull the lever for whomever has the 'R' next to their name for if the Senate and House are under the control of the Republicans... true Conservative Republicans...or better yet TEApublicans...even a more moderate Republican president can be kept in check...yet another reason we must turn Congress RED.

Third, in relation to the 2012 election and hopefully something that will NOT become an issue in the 2014 mid-term election, is the fact that it's time for those religious leaders who seem to think that they and only they know what's best for our country to go back to ministering to their flocks on all things religious and stay out of politics. Politics and religion do NOT meld well when one particular religion's beliefs totally discount the beliefs of others...even others who believe in the one true living God just as they do, but who happen NOT to follow their particular tenets of religious dogma. And politics and religion do NOT meld well when these same religious leaders advice their blind followers...those who do NOT exercise the free will God gave all men...to stay home and NOT vote at all because they do NOT like the religion of a certain candidate.

And lastly, when all is stripped away what matters as much in 2014 as it did in 2012...maybe even more so...is the fact that numbers win or lose an election whether for Congressional seats or for the presidency, and in 2012, about 93 million eligible voters did NOT exercise their right to vote... including 3 million registered Republicans who were unhappy with Mitt Romney being a Mormon. And if 2012's voter turnout is an indication of the still on-going apathy in our country today, it won't be long before less than half of all eligible voters actually cast the ballots that determine the future of our nation.

And for those apathetic millions who did NOT like either party's presidential candidate in 2012, it simply NEVER occurred to them that they could easily have skipped the 'top line' of the ballot and just voted for the Senate and House nominees. And if they had done so chances are we would now have a Republican Senate and a stronger hold on the House...translating into Obama would NOT have been able to do the amount of damage he now has been allowed to do. So I hope all of you who stayed home are happy with your decision...actually your betrayal of our beloved America...because the rest of us sure the hell are NOT.

And while all the above contributed to our losses in 2012, it must be understood that staying home is simply NOT an option come this November for its numbers that we need...big numbers. I cannot stress enough the importance of getting out the vote...and that means a grassroots effort from us all, including having the 'prayer warriors' say their prayers and then get off their knees and join in getting out the vote. And all efforts must be primarily focused on the Senate and House races putting the local races if NOT aside at least giving them a bit less importance than the Congressional races during this election cycle. And the reason why is the simple indisputable fact that we either retake the Senate and increase our numbers in the House or Barack HUSSEIN Obama's 'pen and phone' issuing of Executive Orders will be a walk in the park compared to what damage this man can do if he holds the strings to both Houses of Congress in his hand...and it will be our fault and ours alone if this happens...period.
